I cannot express how happy I am to have discovered Cornerstone Home Interiors. I spent several months browsing furniture stores looking for a quality couch (a deep and super cozy one - I went with the Casa Mesa model) that would fit in my apartment and my budget. After a lot of research, I came across Cornerstone Home Interiors and their selection in store was even more beautiful than what was shown on the website. Terra was extremely patient with me while I did my rounds in the store trying to narrow down my selection. She is incredibly resourceful (I had mentioned that I stained my carpet earlier that day and she was able to recommend someone to clean it) and creative, and was beyond helpful - answering every single question that I had (I had many!). I ended up with exactly what I wanted by the end of my visit. I didn't measure my elevator in my building and the couch was too big for it, but Terra was able to arrange (from her awesome list of resources and connections) to have the couch cut into two pieces so that it could be moved into my place. She even gave me the great idea of separating the sections when I have company so that we can face each other. I'm so glad that I ended up having to have the couch customized as I plan to keep it for many years and it will be much easier to move! I must make note that if this were a big box store and the same thing happened, they would probably just leave the couch on your lawn. Bruno delivered my couch and he was incredibly sweet and we had a great laugh during the delivery! Everything went smoothly. I spoke with Ryan and briefly met him in store and he was also a pleasure to work with. I plan to shop at Cornerstone in the future and have already recommended the shop to many friends. Their outstanding customer service and beautiful selection are unmatched and I just want to say thank you to the team for the incredible experience. I absolutely love my couch (an understatement - I'm obsessed) and it will make for a very cozy winter :) Definitely check them out - they have something for everyone! Shop local <3 20/10!!

A really disappointing experience. Went in this afternoon hoping to purchase a sectional. Apparently what I was looking for was a unique combination. Rather than helping the "interior designer" first suggested that what I was looking for probably didn't exist. Apparently Navy Blue velvet was only offered by selective manufacturers. He suggested I just buy my own fabric. Meanwhile the website says "ANY FABRIC, ANY FRAME... Create the look you'll love. You can custom order our upholstery by choosing from more than 500 fabrics and leathers." So I wanted to be optimistic and attempt finding a solution. It seemed my persistence was an annoyance to this person. His first suggestion was for me to just flip through the books and find what I wanted. But when I suggested maybe starting with what brands offered a velvet, he then suggested I could flip through all of the fabric. And when I found what I liked he could point me to the manufacturers book. He left me to "browse" and went to stand at the cash desk. The store was not busy. There was plenty of staff to customer ratio. And it didn't seem the staff was incredibly busy working on anything. I don't believe I was a nuisance or rude. So I don't really understand the reluctance to help. Maybe it would have been better if he had more confidence in his knowledge of their abundant fabric and frame combinations to at least help me narrow my search or flat out say we don't have it. Suggesting I search myself implies there might be a combination. But to let me go through the thousands of combinations on my own, to me is poor customer service and lead to my extreme disappointment. If it's too much to expect the store staff to know the product info then perhaps the website needs to be far more informative.

AN ASTONISHING AND DISTURBING EXPERIENCE As part of a TV shoot, I went to the Dundas St store with a female colleague to pick up a rental cabinet. We had all the necessary packing blankets and 4-wheel dollies to do the job, and the cube van was parked directly in front of the store. The cabinet turned out to be a much larger piece of furniture than we had expected -over 2m tall by almost 1m wide, and over a 1/2m deep. Seeing 3 store employees at the door, I walked over to ask if we could get some assistance loading. One- tall, thin, a black beard and an Irish accent- said "No". Hoping he might still be a gentleman, I then asked if he would at least mind helping out the lady. His reply? "It's 2018. Me and a 19 year old boy got it to the door for you this morning". We were at least provided with a ramp to get the cabinet over the curb and into the street, and my co-worker and I wrestled it up the ramp on 2 dollies and into the truck. I refused to be a part of the return the following week, but I understand another employee did help get the cabinet back into the store. I can't say how shocking it was to hear "female equality" used as an excuse for ignorant behaviour.

This is the second time I purchased from this store. The first one was a few years ago when I bought a buffet/hutch for my mom. What made me write a review this time was because of the service I received from Terra - from pre-sale to after-sale - she was just amazing. I remember coming home and telling my partner about how wonderful she was. I didn't feel any sort of pressure from her to make a purchase even though I had so many questions when I was looking for a pair of chairs. She was just genuinely helpful. When the chairs arrived, there were a couple of issues but Terra just went above and beyond to address them. She always followed up and provided different options. I could definitely tell that she really wanted the customer to be 100% satisfied. I was pleasantly surprised! The other staff are super nice too (Sean and Levi) Anyhow, definitely recommend shopping at this store!

Update: now have custom ottoman, pillows to match (Terra's idea! Thx), 5x8 area rug... My bride/I love this store. People are awesome and helped make a dream come true. ******** Cornerstone is the ONLY place we go to furnish our home. Made a big investment on diningroom table, french country-style dining chairs to match and reclaimed wood bench from Terra (mgr) three yrs ago. Over the years weve bumped into Terra on the street and in the store with a promise to return. Today it happened! House is reno'ed now a return client Shawn and Terra (mgr) are just awesome gave us a great deal on floor model sofa; Shawn made some strong recommendation on a custom ottoman and matching pillows... Our fav store in the junction, great people who just spoiled us with outstanding service + value. Warm thanks + continued success, J+C Ps- coming back for area rug, chairs, lamps, and more $$$$

We’ve been going to Cornerstone for years. There is so much to see, you really need to take your time to review these unique pieces. I’ve found that you really need to look for something special in a room and add from there. Bruno was very helpful but all staff are willing to help. He lifted a chair and brought it down stairs to make sure we were happy with the chair sofa that we ended up buying. I would say we have descent taste but the store and staff help put it together. You can stick to the the big box stores or make it an experience and dine out for lunch in the near by restaurants. Thanks guys for bringing our room vision together, we’ll be back for the other rooms soon.

I've been a customer of Cornerstone's for about ten years. They are my go to for any furniture that I need. I've purchased my custom leather couch, nightstand and various other things there over the years. Terra the manager is very professional, and really cares about my interior design needs. She goes above and beyond to ensure satisfaction. The delivery people are always on time, and very respectful of my space. I love this store because it is full of beautiful things and really great staff. I'll continue to shop there in the future. I also try to recommend this store to anyone who needs anything! They then say they've also had great experiences! I love this place!

Cornerstone Toronto has the best quality on sectional couches, they are super knowledgeable on their materials and products. I purchased my sectional from them, the Kelsey. It is the most beautifully built sectional. The service and support they provided to me was outstanding. Upon delivery there were small details that needed some attention. Tara & Bruno were extremely understanding and efficient at helping me resolve the issue in a quick and timely manner. I will continue to shop here as it is a lovely store run by wonderful people, lovely products & servic ! Thank you so much again Tara & Bruno for everything

There is nothing quite like the experience of a store that stands behind its products. I have 2 cornerstone chairs and noticed a tufting button had fallen off somewhere somehow. I contacted Terra to see if I could get a replacement button but this chair was imported so not possible. Terra went out of her way to send an upholstery specialist to my house to make a new button out of fabric from the bottom of the chair right before my eyes!! I was so impressed and will continue to recommend Cornerstone to anyone looking for quality products and a company that stands behind their products. Thanks again Terra!!

I have yet to make a purchase at Cornerstone, so I cannot speak to the quality of merchandise. Although I did find they have some great unique, stylish pieces in general. I can speak on my customer service experience with Ryan and Bruno in particular. Both of them were absolutely wonderful. Informative, knowledgeable, friendly and made my experience more enjoyable. Furniture shopping can be stressful and both of them made the experience fun and were beyond helpful/patient with someone who hasn't done this a lot. I look forward to going back for pieces in the future and will definitely keep them in mind.

We first bought our sofa there - it's a three-seater, and we absolutely loved it. You'll know from the first glance that the style of their furniture is very unique, and certainly appealed to us. So after looking at other stores to find something to match our sofa we eventually went back to cornerstone, because their style and prices are unmatched. And to boot the service we got, especially the second time around was amazing. We dealt with a store manager, I believe her name was Terra - she was very helpful, she even had guys rearrange furniture in the store to simulate our living room! Amazing!

Love this place! They've got a lot of options with two floors of furniture to look at. They have nice rugs and these Moroccan wool pillow covers that are beautiful. The furniture they carry seems to run large and is mostly for bigger homes. Not sure if a lot of this stuff would work in small condos FYI but there is definitely still something here for condo people. The basement is a cool little treasure trove because there are often odds and ends in the as-is section and cute little antiques. They also have these pretty furniture knobs made of glass and ceramic. Great store!

Terra, Bruno and Ryan are so friendly, accommodating, helpful, professional and EXPERT at what they do! This was our first experience working with Cornerstone and it will likely be the start of a great new relationship. LOVE our new living room. A designer friend told us about Cornerstone. We loved the unique selection at reasonable prices and bought several items there. We were equally impressed with Terra, the manager, when we asked her about modifications to the chairs we bought there a few years ago. Cornerstone referred us to their upholstery contractor and he also provided us with extremely high quality work and service. Lot's of great items and interest. Customer service was great. Long time employees and manager there shows their commitment to the company and that they know their stuff and open to help customers out with pricing and other requests. Overall a positive impression throughout. Tara was especially helpful. I picked up a one-of-a-kind media table and will certainly refer this company to those looking for unique furniture for a very fair price.

Bruno is hilarious and fun to talk to while shopping. Terra, the manager, is very sweet and generous (patience and time). Our couch came 4-6 weeks earlier than expected! Riggley the delivery dude was very helpful as we had some concerns about it when it arrived. Terra stepped right on it and made sure to get the issues taken care of. They have a big selection of furniture and I'll be going back for 3-4 more pieces very soon.

My husband and I purchased 2 custom upholstered chairs last June. When we received them we weren’t pleased with the work. 2 new chairs were made and again they weren’t well done. Tara agreed and said we would get our money back. We love Cornerstone and found a different chair and manufacturer instead. We’ve never experienced such fantastic customer service!! This store is an 11 out of 10!!

I was looking for some new dining chairs and stumbled upon Cornerstone in the junction one day. They have a great selection of not only chairs but also other home furnishings. Shawn, Jamie & Tara (if I recall correctly) were all polite and helpful during my three visits. I recommend checking them out if you're looking for something new for the home.

Cornerstone is my go-to whenever I need furniture or something unique. The pieces are all reasonably priced but the quality is outstanding. Have purchased multiple pieces over the year and they are sturdy and last. All of the staff are very friendly and the free delivery is a huge plus. Best place for furniture in Toronto!

I’ve been shopping here for a few years. This place has some great one off furniture pieces and sells only quality stuff. Purchased a sectional sofa this past weekend and couldn’t be happier with it. I needed a new recliner and they didn’t have the model I wanted on the showroom floor - they had it brought from another store for me to try. Great customer service from purchase to delivery guys who helped get the chair into the elevator that was just a little too small.
