Very convenient for me as I only live 2-3 minutes walk away. What I dislike (that's putting mildly!) is only having one bloody train per hour most of the day! ALL Northern services should call here in both directions. I've complained to Northern and Metro, but they say they can't do anything about it. That is simply utter bollocks! There's plenty of spare time to add a stop at Cottingley. On a Sunday we only get one train every two hours - hideous! But I have been informed this will go every hour Leeds-Huddersfield-Manchester Victoria all stations in December.

Simple two platform station that is walkable from Cottingley and Churwell. There is a small shelter on each platform to take cover in from bad weather, a cycle racks on platform 1 and a ticket machine on each platform. Unfortunately if you are in a wheel chair etc or have a pushchair and need to get across to platform 1 you have to get a cross a bridge with just stairs (if I have missed that there is wheel chair access nearby I apologise just not seen it). Good services to Leeds starting early in morning, and takes less than 10 mins to get into Leeds.

The same stuff happens just like in Morley,the station only Has 2 platforms same as Morley and batley even though it does have kinda of good connections with dewsbury,manchester Victoria,huddersfield and Leeds

Absolutely disgusted! Waiting nearly TWO days, for the eurostar to France to no avail! Poor little kia, is going have to settle with a day out to the White Rose!

Very basic station with hardly any street lighting on the approach footpaths / particularly on the side of the Leeds bound platform
