My experience started out as very pleasant until my call to delivery department, which turned to dislike very quickly! . I searched and searched for the table I wanted, So I ordered a table and 6 chairs that are stock items, was told that only the base of table would be delivered with chairs and tabletop would be delayed, I chose to have complete order when ready. Delivery Date was pushed out so far, I called to see if my delivery could be sooner than it is because this was a stock item and not custom made. I have already paid it off before I have my merchandise. I was told by the delivery dept that they deliver more often to people in areas that buy more merchandise, I paid $99 for delivery charge and I was totally taken aback to think that she would even say a comment like that referring to the fact that I live in an area that the people do not shop or buy a lot from their store so I have to wait until they take a trip to my zip code?? How insulting, like I stated I paid $99 delivery charge. I will not do business with Crate and Barrel after this delivery is complete. I still have 2 weeks to go before my table and chairs arrive. Money is Money and Sales are Sales no matter where you live and who you are. Hopefully my delivery arrives in perfect condition .

Glad to know that how rudely I was treated by this store is not an isolated incident. I see where other customers have been treated bad as well. One of the ladies, named Debbie, who work at this location is rude for sure. I felt as though I needed to pull the race card with this lady!!!!! Some people at this location are rude, racist, and uppity. Sadly the manager doesn’t even care. There is a spirit in this store that is not good. If you’re black don’t go to this location. I don’t need any insincere apologies on google reviews after you (the manager) was just nasty to me a couple of hours ago in the store and told me I could shop at crate and barrel in Durham. Your responding to google review is just formality only. Instead of fixing the issue you plainly let me know I can go elsewhere. Again, black people especially shouldn’t shop this store. That’s why Amazon will continue to get most of my business.

Clearly, customer service at this location is a huge issue. My husband and I have shopped at this location several times and always have the same experience. The staff act as if they are either too good to help or they completely ignore you. Today, we went in and the only associate that would interact with us looked me up and down (I am assuming to judge me) before even saying hi and did not offer further assistance. These employees need to act their wage. Period. They have no right to judge ANYONE. Just because your store is located in South Park and you carry expensive items does not give any employee the right to treat people differently. I have done several surveys after purchases ,that I’ve made, in regards to this issue and they clearly are not taken seriously.

I made a $4000 furniture order at your store in November. It was delayed in delivery until January. Then on the scheduled date it never arrived. I reached out to the sales associate and was told it was a miscommunication (offered a 15% refund) and the delivery was rescheduled. Upon delivery, one major piece arrived incorrectly. Rescheduled (again) for the proper piece (no additional offer to keep my business occurred). It arrived AGAIN incorrect. After speaking with the store manager and corporate customer service, a store gift card in the amount of 10% was offered. Clearly, I don't feel like my hard earned money and time is valued by your store. Why would I want a gift card to a sore that repeatedly hasn't been able to deliver the correct (expensive) product?

The store itself was nice. The staff however were rude and made me feel very unwelcome. I got dirty looks when I walked in the door. Every two minutes (I wish I was kidding. I left after 10 mins cause i was tired of it) someone approached me asking if I needed something. I then proceeded to be followed to the second floor by a staff member who whispered something to the other associate. After that I could see the associates watching me shop. I didn't see anyone else around me approached nearly as often. The final straw was when the last person approched me. She asked if i needed help. I said no thanks just browsing. She then glared at me, looked me up and down, and walked back to her station where she continued to watch me shop

I love the merchandise at Crate and Barrel. Went in mid-January during the middle of the week. I was assisted downstairs promptly when I purchased placemats and napkins. The downside is one staff member downstairs saw me waiting in line to make a purchase and was not helping any customers AND did not offer any assistance. Just stood there. Went upstairs and looked at sofas and again a sales associate saw us looking at 2 sectionals, reading the tags, etc. but decided to stay behind the counter doing what she felt was more important than sales. Perhaps they are severely understaffed. I will go elsewhere.

Went in earlier for Christmas gifts & did not feel comfortable. Some of the associates more so to the 2 older blonde women working behind the register, were a bit snobbish & made faces to each other after we made our purchase & were on our way of leaving. I felt racially profiled & I overheard an associate talk about assisting a Black women in an annoyed tone. It seemed you have look or act certain way to get treated in an appropriate & respectful manner. That shouldn’t be the case when guests come in & are trying to making a purchase. Will not come back to this location.

I’ve purchased a couple of furnitures and kitchen items from Crate & Barrel to furnish my new house. But not everytime I felt this way. Today, I visited the store to buy a knife set. But I felt very disappointed with the staffs’ limited knowledge about the knife sets that I was asking about and unprofessional demeanour. Especially, the woman who wears glasses with short hair was very rude to answer my questions. She treated me differently from the one behind me. I don’t understand why the store positions such a rude and professional staff work there.

Be very careful about 6-month payment from Crate & Barrel. It looks like a scam if you are not careful! I bought a frame from Crate & Barrel which qualified for 6-month payment. I gave up the reward points in order to have 6-month finance. My crate & barrel card was in auto payment and NOBODY from Crate & Barrel told me that if I don't remove the auto payment, the full amount would be charged in the first statement. I called Crate & Barrel to complain. They were helpless! I was so frustrated that I end up canceling my credit card account. Carla S

Ok but can we talk about the customer service here? I just called and was helped by Hunter who was absolutely delightful, and y’all, it is December 21st, 2020. Holiday shopping time in the midst of a global pandemic— I cannot think of a more challenging time to work in retail. But Hunter helped me with an item inquiry + order over the phone like an angel sent from Crate and Barrel heaven and now my shopping is officially done. Please give Hunter a raise, he is a treasure and has lowkey saved my holiday and my sanity.

Excellent selection of kitchen goods and furniture for both inside and outside. The service is even better! I'm always greeted right away. Everyone I talk to is always very knowledgeable and gives honest suggestions. Special shout out to the merch team who always answers the back door quickly and helps me with my orders! No matter how big or how small the item is, they bring it to my car. Always smiling, always friendly! I shop here often because of the sales, wide selection of goods, and fantastic customer service!

6 months delays are too much, on everything. We expected our sideboard on beg Feb, now it’s mid April Amd so everything, like our kids beds were supposed to be delivered in mid Feb now in mid May!!! So I have talked with the customer service and they said they can’t do nothing with it. The only think you can do is to tell your next customers that the delays may be around 3-4 wells but tell them truth, it’s around 6 months, then they will less frustrated.

These people are amazing! Meredith and Hunter are fabulous! Meredith seems to be in management and solves problems Hunter is excellent at helping furniture home. She recommended the Ankara chairs to go with the gather deep sofa that we purchased for our living room and we think they are so beautiful and I had not even stop to look at them as we we’re focused on chair and a half options. They turned an issue around so fast that we had the best experience!

Crate and Barrel has been the furniture store of our choice in our design journey since we set up our family. The furniture pieces are timeless, have high eye appeal and last decades. You can be rest assured of the quality. We have had the very best customer experience with the South Park store in Charlotte, NC. Visited the store looking specifically for Staub cookware. They not only acknowledged my entering the store but also came by offering to help. More than adequate clerks and many shoppers. I got what I went for. On sale too! Quite different from my visit to the cooking store I had visited a few days before looking for same item. Oh, and they offered to order an item I added to my wish list. With free shipping to the store within 3 days.

Perfectly normal Crate and Barrel, but had an encounter with rude sales clerk. Was browsing plates and picked up a display to show my husband, she immediately approached me to inform me its a display. I have no idea what her point was, but her tone, and way she approached me as if I was going to steal or drop it. Maybe she had a long day, but sucked she took it out on me. Hard to enjoy shopping when you feel like you are being watched.

Terrible customer service. Ordered off bridal registry online and if you don’t check the gift receipt box, you’re out of luck. And don’t dare ask for one because they will look at you cross eyed. There was one nice girl that brought the package from the back for me and politely said they couldn’t provide the receipt. But whomever was working the front desk acted like I was a problem. I won’t be purchasing from C&B again.

Excellent service first of all. I was assisted from the time I stepped through the door. I explained what I was looking for. Then, the representative walked me to several locations to choose what I liked. That's the kind of service that keeps the doors open. Thank you for such a wonderful shopping experience. Secondly, the quality and style of the merchandise is superb. Will shop there again and refer them to others.

Just wanted to recognize Dennis Valencia in regards to his incredible customer service. Helped me out with my Tuft & Needle mattress purchase and honored an expired free pillow deal without issue. Had regular follow-up with me via phone in regards to this order to make sure that the free pillows issue was handled. Very much appreciated. I've never had this level of customer service from a brick and mortar store.

I purchased several large pieces of furniture and a swivel chair. The swivel chair came to us damaged. Crate and Barrel tried to make repairs in our home to no success. Then C&B sent the chair back to supplier. After having been gone about 5 or 6 weeks the chair was brought back in the same damaged condition to us. So far we are waiting to find out about a promised replacement. The response time is very slow.

We went to the store today to set up our wedding registry and were helped by Maggie. She was amazing! So helpful and really kind. She gave great advice but also gave us space to explore and pick things on our own. We had questions about the discount provided after the wedding and she was so accommodating and helpful. Ordered 2 light fixtures 10/20/19. Two fixtures and globes were ETA mid November and second fixture globes early December. Got email that a partial delivery of one of fixtures was ready for pick up and would be held for 14 days. Went to store and they said one of the globes was back ordered and the second fixtures globes would now be January. Last time shopping at crate and barrel!

Terrific experience at this store. After a days long search we found the perfect sofa and rug and "Furniture Expert" Farrell was just that and more. Knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful throughout the purchase and delivery. Manager Hunter was also a amazing to work with. Highly recommend this store. Tamara was excellent in assisting us with our new dining room. The store is beautiful and has wonderful selections to choose from to go with any color scheme. The store is very easy to access. It is at South Park Mall location, however, it is a stand alone building to the side of the Cheese Cake Factory. It is a must see if you need an update in any room!

This is a great place to find quality houseware in a welcoming and helpful environment. We like Crate & Barrel enough to come here and annoy our children. They may complain but that plate you're eating on and that hot chocolate you're drinking were made on and from products that originated at this wellspring of houseware!

Needed a piece of furniture that day and found an item on clearance. They were able to get it out of the door for us in under an hour. Very helpful and friendly staff. If you plan on large haul get there early to avoid the parking lot situation. There is the mall parking deck near Dillard's that usually has space as well.

Great location! Phillip was the gentleman who looked after me. I was looking for a specific item and even though it looked like there weren't enough of the coupe glasses I wanted, he didn't give up. He was able to find me extra and I was thrilled. Super nice person and extremely helpful. Will definitely visit again!

We were here tonight..on a Friday night. Maybe different people on this shift. Customer service reps ignored us, no one greeted us, nothing. We walked the whole store and were planning to buy. Wow. For this price point, I'd expect just a bit more. All on auto-pilot and too busy socializing with each other.

Extremely snobby staff. The five employees that snubbed my smile and my clear need for help with no greeting or even a word should be fired. Apparently wearing a volleyball tshirt in this business is a warrant to treat someone horribly. Will not be returning and will spend my money at Pottery Barn.

I had a very poor experience with this store. They offered a promotional credit card reward program with a purchase. The rewards program is a scam. There is no way to use the reward points. Very poor response by management of the local store, the national store and the credit card company.

Crate and Barrel has the friendliest and most helpful staff around. I was working with Katherine when I was looking for a rug and she was awesome. The items they sell are more modern and elegant than you find in most other stores, and they have good discounts during sale periods too :)

Because of COVID, I have been using the contactless online order pickup. The C&B Southpark online ordering process is seamless. Despite arriving to the store 20 mins past closing, Justin was super nice and grabbed my order for me. Great customer service!

Don't get here often, but on the occasions I have, staff has been good, answered my questions when I've had them. Their return policy is good too... Fed ex did some damage to an online order I placed and was able to return it to the store.

Good place to shop for unique home furnishings. I ended up purchasing two custom chairs for my family room. The sales people were friendly and knowledgeable. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because the prices on some items can be a bit high.

The store is kind of hard to navigate through. I thought there would have been more of a selection in store, even the flatware was limited. I looked for the seasonal section and there is only one tiny display with 4th of July options.

Ordered on line for pick up because we were staying in a local hotel. Food was delicious and as ordered. One small problem, that became a big problem. No spoon sent of any kind for the soup! More attention needs to be paid!
