Unfortunately, my first (and last) experience with cube moving was not so great today. I had three guys - Cameron, Maurice and Mikael, and my move was from a small (900 sq. ft.) ground floor 2 bedroom apt. - to a condominium - 9 mile commute ! Here is my experience: * Bait and Switch: Surprise *dot fee* that was never disclosed from the get go. The way I was explained (on site when they showed up and not before) - They calculate the driving time from origin to destination, lets say 15 mins. and then double it to 30 mins. and charge you for 30 mins. This may be necessary and something they cant control, but they should disclose it upfront. Not good business practice. *Language and personal phone calls: They are not quite or professional when they communicate with each other, lot of cursing and loud mouth talking. One guy was on phone, smoking, talking with his gf / wife, about their personal details you would rather not know....totally disrespectful. He then had to be called in by his coworker to get back to work....while he was on the clock....getting paid. * Careless: Dropped my CD tower and my air cooler while lifting the trucks tailgate and acted like no big deal and did not apologize, I thought that was bad customer service. While loading mattresses, one of them yelled "Put in all the way inside the truck...or whatever...I don't really care". * Milking the clock: You know the deal...walking slow, checking phones, taking their time with no sense of urgency, carrying one lamp at a time vs. two in two hands. * Unreliable : They recommend 3 guys and a truck vs. 2 guys and a truck, just so it would be faster aka cheaper for you...yet still, take like 2.5 hrs. *just to load* (take a look at the picture, this was *everything* before taking off from my apt.- the truck is half empty) !! * Bottom line: 2 bedroom apt. / 9 mile move / 3 guys and a truck = took them 5.5 hrs. Ended up costing me $742....before tip. I didn't want to be a jerk, so I still gave them a $75 tip, plus they stand right there and watch you, so you feel pressured into it...but was it worth it? Not really. Just my two cents !! Would not repeat and would not recommend. Last modified: 3:32 PM

The main reason I am giving a low rating is because they failed to properly label the boxes, even though they had said in the beginning they would and I even provided my own sharpies for them to use because they did not have anything to write with. After we opened the boxes, not knowing what was what and having difficulty finding important items, we also saw that they packed things that weren't initially together or related, which made unpacking even more complicated. **Update below, in response to owner's reply** You are insinuating that 3 labels are enough for 43 boxes. That is wrong and points to the fact that you believe you provided a good service. Additionally, many boxes had no label and they were not in the room they belonged to. Your crew was listening to music on their headphones instead of paying attention to their job. Also, food items were not packaged properly causing leakage and extra cleaning on our part when we unpacked and liquids were all over. You charged $1,248 dollars to move a one bedroom apartment and did a really bad job at it. You suggested to add an additional person and we accepted because you said that would save time and money but you took 8.5 hours to do the job. Then you called trying to justify your bad service explaining that you didn't label better to save us time and that you mixed items from different places in the same box to save us money in boxes. I truly warn everyone to not hire your services for any move. Small boxes $60 / 3 = 20 Medium boxes $84 / 4 = 21 large boxes $10 / 5 = 2 =========== 43 boxes

!!!!! BEWARE the HIDDEN moving fees!!! There will be hidden fees and they will only appear after all your stuff is packed! Don’t say I didn’t warn you! Before scheduling my move with Cube Moving and Storage, I called and asked about the moving fees ovee the phone, and the operator assured me there would be no additional moving fees aside from the $30 gas and the hourly moving rate. He was either wrong, or I was lied to!! Sure enough some hidden fees that were NEVER discussed magically popped up! Additional fees for transporting my furniture (after it was all packed in the truck) showed up. I was forced to pay these extra fees, and the movers had conveniently “forgot to mention” those fees as I was signing the paperwork and we were going over all the fees before the move. Lucky me. To top it off, the movers left all the plastic wrap trash from the move in my back yard, including wmtpy water bottles and other trash. Unfortunately they also broke my fan and forgot to unwrap a few pieces of my furniture. Unprofessional workers, lousy service, and dishonest pricing. Never again will I use Cube Moving and Storage’s services. Sincerely, Ripped off customer

Cube Movers do such a great job, I have used them 4 times already for all the moves I have done. They are nice, polite, and fast. I had Jose and Anthony last time. I had a LOT of stuff and was moving to an apartment on the second floor so they had to carry all my stuff up the stairs; but they did not complain once and man are they in good shape! They must have gone up and down the set of 15 steps probably 20 times. I really appreciate their patience also taking apart my complicated bed frame but I am so glad they know how to! Every time I used Cube Movers they knew how to disassemble my bed frame so they could fit it through the door. And they use blankets to wrap up the TV and a thick clear wrapping to wrap the dressers and nightstands to keep the drawers in place so they don't fall out. They are very organized and send you a confirmation email, and they always call when they are on their way. I highly recommend them, thank you Cube Movers!! ***note- if you have fragile things that can break, make sure you take them separately by yourself.

So let me start by saying the movers themselves were really nice. However, during my move the middle beam of our bed frame was broken (and the movers admitted to that) AND the keys to our clavichord were broken. When I called, the man who answered first was condescending and said “we can’t fix pianos.” I knew I was calling a moving company and not a piano store. When I told him about both items, he told me there was nothing they could do, only to send pictures of the beam and that we were stuck with the piano as is. I get if they can’t cover the cost of repair, but I felt like it was very rude and a “tough luck” kind of attitude from the guy on the phone. It was a 15 min move and it’s going to cost me $1000 in repairs. I wouldn’t recommend considering how much more it’ll cost me now. Also, with the broken beam, we don’t have our bed anymore. Thanks a lot, Cube.

I don't suggest anyone to go by the hourly rate they propose to you. I worked with a different crew, paid not by hour but size of apartment. They unloaded and put every piece of furniture in place in 1.5 hours and they were gone. Cube's crew killed a lot of time by coming up with different excuses. Like elevator is blocked. They told me here's another truck blocking us to get out of way, and said they informed the driver already, but they didn't. I went ahead and found the truck driver, no one had asked him to move his truck. He immediately pulled out the truck and cleared the way. I gave them good tip also but I regret. That day they didn't have any other moving on their plan, they wanted to max out the money they can make from me.

My experience with this company was probably one of the best I’ve ever had moving and I move very often. I scheduled the move with the owner over the phone and he was very kind and professional. They were able to fit me in within the same week, were transparent with the pricing, and it was one of the most affordable options I looked at. The whole process of getting a quote and booking the move was super easy and quick. The movers, Max and Oscar, were phenomenal!! They got to my place early, worked quickly and carefully, and had the best attitude! Moving can be stressful but they were so amazing and made the whole thing stress free. If I could give 10 stars I would. Highly recommend!

I was looking for a moving company on Yelp and google to move my small 2 bedroom apartment , only 800 sq ft , from Mission Valley to Pacific Beach. Cube Movers were highly recommended with over 700 5 star reviews, so I have decided to give them a try. Even though they gave me 1 hour window for arrival , movers showed up at 8 am sharp and went straight to work. Victor and his co-worker wrapped everything in blankets and even my mattresses were covers in plastic. They have treated my furniture like their own. The whole move took them only 4.5 hours . (It would take me and my friends at least 1 day to do the same). I am very impressed! 5 stars well deserved!

I am a Realtor in San Diego and have used Cube Moving and Storage for myself and my clients over a dozen times now. They have great rates, customer service, there are no hidden fee, the rate is upfront, they send the invoice upon booking with the rate as well. The truck with the crew always arrive on time and they send you a text when they are on the way. I had customers change the date last minute and just a lot of stuff to move and Cube Moving crew was always able to accommodate my clients' needs and provide great customer service. I am very happy with Cube Moving and that is why they are the only moving company I recommend to all of my clients.

The movers were extremely efficient and moved my 1 bedroom apartment in only 2.5 hours so I didn’t have to pay any more than the minimum. However, they were quite sexist and refused to talk to me (and instead spoke to only my boyfriend) even after I made it clear that it was my apartment, not his. They shook his hand and asked his name but blew right past me. When it was time to pay, they looked at him and after I paid the cash, they still looked at him to sign the documents even though it was clearly in my name. Overall happy with the service but they could use an attitude adjustment to act like it’s the 21st century.

These guys were amazing! I needed a 1-bdr apartment moved last Sunday and I called them Saturday afternoon, after another company canceled on me last second! Wasn't a problem for Cube Moving - they scheduled me for Sunday, same time as the other guys that canceled! Excellent customer service and great hustle! Everything was done very, very quickly, nothing was even remotely damaged and these guys were extremely cautious regarding COVID-19 protocols and they were also clean, which was a welcome plus. I loved the whole experience and I can not recommend them highly enough! Great job, Cube Moving!

So long story short... I needed a mover and really didn't have time to scout one out. These guys came highly recommended from a friend and I must say... The greatest moving company ever. They are energetic, polite and care about your personal belongings. From start to finish I was impressed! I wish I could use them cross country when I return. I would never use another company only these guys! I rarely have time to leave reviews.... But I felt obligated to do so. I'm in the military always on the go... so my time is valuable... This is the company you need/want for all your moving needs!

I’ve had movers before & these have been the worst. One was very fast but the other one was slow. He had sandals on and milking the clock. They kept one of my items and said I had to go pick it up because it’s my fault for not checking the truck. The person in charge called me back and was being super rude, he did not let me talk. Very very unprofessional. I do not recommend. They will work slow, take their time and over charge you. & if you want to call and complain for anything they will not hear you out. I wish I can rate below 1 star.

I left a 1star review due to issues we experienced during our move, but James stepped up and followed up on the issues and heard us out. James is very professional and addressed all issues with patience and professionalism and at the end offered a remedy. He proved that our choice was right to pick Cube Moving over other companies and despite the little bump in the road, the fact that the company stepped up and corrected all issues made this company the company of choice and we will recommend them and will hire them back for future needs.

5 STARS!! I just moved from San Diego to Summerlin, NV. I picked Cube Moving mainly because they were the only company who would pick us up and deliver next day and in addition the price beat every other moving company. My team was Ivan, Igor and Andre. Consider yourself lucky if you get them as your team! They arrived exactly on time on both ends and stayed in constant communication. Nothing broken and nothing missing. In the end, the price I paid was exactly what was quoted and no hidden fees. Overall this was a great moving experience.

Moving for a girl is always not pleasant, but Cube movers made my move in less than 3 hours ( I only have a bed , couch , few dressers table and some boxes ). They are highly recommended on yelp and I can tell all the reviews are accurate. Ivan and Stan come right on time at 8 am and got everything in the truck in about 1 hour . Mattress and couch was wrapped in plastic protector;other furniture wrapped in pads. Unloading took another hour , and on spare time they have helped me set up my bed. Cube movers did an amazing job. Absolutely amazing experience with this company. Called them to get a quote for my upcoming move. James was very patient and knowledgeable to over every single detail and offered me reasonable quote. Two days later the 3 men moving crew showed up on time and started the job right away. They worked very hard, fast and efficient. It took a little over 5 hours for my 2 bedroom place which is way less than I expected. I will definitely use them again and recommend to all my friends!

Pretty good service, no hidden fees. After I talked to them on the phone they where able to arrange everything next day. Everything was moved with care and nobody was wasting time even thought the items were on second floor without elevator . I had 2 movers and a Truck. Derek and Jean did amazing job in handling and moving my items. They were also friendly to the new neighbors about having to move their truck in the middle of the move. Everything was done on time!

I used Cube Movers to move a small load of furniture from CA to AZ. My contact, Edwin, was extremely helpful and responsive. The moving team was great. They were professional and very careful with my furniture. They packed an amazing amount of stuff in the trailer they used, like Tetris in 3D. They were Ukrainians and spoke perfect English which was very helpful. All of my stuff arrived in AZ intact and undamaged. I would definitely use them for any future moves.

Cube Movers did a great job moving a 520 pound wine refrigerator across town. Their three-man crew showed up at the appointed time and was efficient, organized, and respectful. They were very careful and went out of their way to make sure the fridge was properly set up and leveled at its new location. James, my Cube Moving contact person, did a great job of scheduling and follow-up. Overall I was very happy with my experience with this company.

These guys are the best. They moved two apartments into a single 3 bedroom house in 5 hours. They took great care in wrapping up TVs and mirrors to make sure they traveled safely and ensure furniture was brought in with our scratching the walls. Our movers were Maserati, Bahder and Eddie. A couple of month ago we have used the service of Cube Moving to relocate our furniture from Fallbrook to Miramar. Movers came on time and did outstanding job. They brought 3 trucks to fit all of our furniture and boxes (trust me - we have a lot). Everything was delivered the same day ( it was only 30 miles move) , nothing was damaged or scratched. Very happy with this company and everyone we dealt with. The movers were great, personable, professional and efficient at both the pick up and drop off locations. The Rep we originally dealt with Edgar, was very nice and helpful and very responsive. We would recommend them and if the need arises again and they can do it we will definitely use them. The whole process of moving locally in San Diego was very easy and everyone I interacted with was pleasant and responsive to all my requests. Our broker Amy recommended Cube Moving for our move into brand new house. Three men who did our move were proficient and professional. We were not completely packed that's why the move took a little bit longer than planned and movers were diligent until the last minute.
