Two weeks ago, I would have given Cycleworld a 1-star review, but I have turned 180 degree because of the service and satisfaction they provided. Now I am giving them 5 stars instead. I want to give credit where credit is due and Cycleworld has certainly earnt it. Just for context, my bike was serviced a few weeks ago and after taking it home I noticed damage to the frame paint work. While it is difficult to say where or when the damage occurred, I was certain it was not there before I sent the bike in for service. However, without prejudice and admission, the folks at Cycleworld agreed to repair the damage as a gesture of goodwill. A week later, they had the damage fixed and repainted to its original state. I was stoked at the great work undertaken and want to acknowledge that Cycleworld has done an outstanding job in looking after its customer. It would have been easy for Cycleworld to palm off the damage (as it was an old bike) and deny any responsibility. Nevertheless, rarely do consumer experience such a responsible retailer that try and do the right thing and work with customers to a reasonable outcome. I also want to single out a female staff name Hesna, who looked after me and communicated professionally all along. Kudos to the Cycleworld team and management for employing such great staff. I have no hesitation in recommending people to buy from Cycleworld. In fact, I have already indicated I am in the market to buy another bike for my wife, once stock is available again. Thank you Cycleworld.

Our two 11y/o boys wanted a Haro just like dad had as a kid, and thinking that they wouldn't be too hard to find, i left it the very last minute. I called Cycleworld and spoke to Hesna, who gave me exactly what I was looking for at half the price of anyone else I'd contacted, and had the 2 bikes on the Mid North Coast from Sydney within 2 days and in time for their birthdays. Unfortunately, due to a broken pedal i hoped might be replaced and contacted Hesna again, and was given another excellent experience. Absolutely recommended ***UPDATE**** So... the frame snapped whilst my son was riding the 50m home from school and apparently the manufacturer has denied the claim due to improper use ( bmx bike isn't for bmx use apparently) although nowhere in any literature or website is this stated... not that it is relevant as it was explained that it snapped on the way to school and he weighs under 40kg... currently awaiting a response from Hesna about replacement... will update at the end of the week. ***UPDATE PENDING *** Awesome news... I received an email from Hesna which said that the owner of Cycleworld is going to ensure that I'm not out of pocket and will supply me with a replacement. Can I just say how appreciated this news is and I cannot recommend this business enough... Hesna, you're awesome and I appreciate your patience and effort in getting this resolved. I can't wait to see my son's reaction when it arrives . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Quite disgusted with service today. Popped in to get tire fitted. One particular sales person complained the the entire time charged me $20 in frustration. If they didn’t want to fit the tire they should have declined the job. He continued to complain and charged me $20 when I was told it would be $15 in frustration while in the process of fitting the tire. When I payed the sales man he continued to say that he hopes not to see me again with the tire as it frustrated him fitting it off. After heading back home I realised that the tyre was firing incorrectly. I went to another bike store in concord and they were more than happy to fit tires in the future at no extra cost and they did it with ease and with the added friendly smiles. I will not spend my hard working money at cycle world concord west again. I will be making sure that friends and family do the same and buy future bikes and accessories, service at another bike store in concord. Not happy but glad there is another bike store nearby that are run by humans who are happy to help and serve other humans.

Best bike shop in Sydney! I wish I could give more than 5 stars! I recently purchased a new road bike from a different retailer and in the first week of use experienced a number of issues with the bike. Hoping to have the bike repaired before Christmas, I visited Cycleword at Concord on Christmas Eve to see if a quick repair could be done. Despite not having a repair booking and the huge backlog of repairs needing to be completed for that day, both Al and Kiwi went above and beyond to ensure I left the store satisfied and with a working bike! Both went to great lengths to troubleshoot and provided me with confidence that this store was committed to delivering exceptional quality bikes and repairs. These two gentlemen are an asset to this store and because of this experience I will be recommending Cycleworld Concord to all my family, friends and work colleagues for their bike needs! Shout out also to the staff around the store on the day as they were extremely friendly and welcoming. Will be seeing you guys again!

These guys (and gal) went above and beyond for me this weekend. From allowing a test ride, making sure I got the right bike for my needs, to giving me a very reasonable price, helping me avoid a credit card surcharge, being willing to store the bike until I could borrow a larger vehicle and travel back to Sydney to collect it and helping me to load and secure it in the van; they were absolutely brilliant. They were all very knowledgeable, helpful and clearly passionate about getting people the right cycling equipment. They went absolutely above and beyond the call of duty in helping to push the van out of the carpark when it decided it wouldn't go into reverse anymore (though shortly after all the gears died but that's another story)... without them I would have been stuck in their loading dock, 3 hours from home with no-one around to help me. Cannot thank them enough, you are all absolute legends!

Terrific range, prices and service ! During what should have been a regular bike service the mechanic found a pretty severe crack in my carbon frame I didn't know about. Within a couple of hours Mike was able to identify a very nice compatible race frame and save me buying a whole new bike. He and the team were able to source the 3 or 4 adapters needed and I was back on the road in a very reasonable period of time. Huge thanks to Mike, Kiwi, Brett (and any other unsung heroes who mucked in) for the amazing work building up my beautiful Alan Race Xtreme "Frankenbeiked" to incorporate the soul (well gears, wheels, seat and handlebars, anyway ...) of my beloved, dear departed Focus Cayo. A very professionally orientated cycle shop with great knowledge and expertise. A simplified variety of all category of bikes - no matter what I can guarantee you will definitely walk out with a bike from average $ to extremely high end $$$$ . This is the shop that will remind you that great customer service still exists. Each representative specialises in a genre of cycling/mtb/BMX/kids. This cycle shop needs to be known. Buying a bike/servicing/advice/special orders, you name it they will get it done. Updating my last review from a year ago. I went in yesterday to get some some with some replacement parts for my bike and while the store didn't specifically have the very small / specific bolt I was after (and quite frankly, I didn't expect them too) they were able to give me a steer to a specialised engineering shop that had the bolt I was after. I'm again blown away with the knowledge and helpfulness of these guys. They are a great arguement for ensuring our local businesses are successful. Thank you very much ! Tremendous place and staff. I have bought my last two bikes here and whenever I have had any issues, the team have been nothing but helpful, fast and knowledgable. Cant recommend highly enough !

AMAZING!!! Absolutely professional store. I was asked by my best friend to source him an EBike. Found it at Cyclewotld. They go over the bike completely before putting it on the shop floor. Then, when we took the bike for a test ride, they went over it again before it went out. Checked everything. My friend liked it and he purchased it, We went to put it in his vehicle and they said "No, our head mechanic will go over it completely again and adjust everything, please pick it up in the afternoon, we will ring you". Now that is commitment to their service and they stand by their products. Highly recommended.

When I arrived the lady who I met welcomed me and gave me all the information I needed to purchase my supergoose. I was uncertain of the features and differences between the models of bikes I was specifically looking for before I entered. I had my new purchase put together immediately with no fuss at all. The gentlemen had a few good suggestions and stories to tell as well Including being a world champion bike racer. The price was amazing Only $699 for a new supergoose Over $100 cheaper than anywhere I could find. Definitely going back when it’s time to buy an extra bike for my collection

Called about getting a bike serviced to which I was met with an immediate 'sure bring it in'. But I wasn't asked to leave a name to book my bike in. When I arrived they obviously didn't have any record of my call and while a little frustrated they did everything they could to accommodate me at short notice. I really appreciate this as they could just have easily turned me away. Thanks for making the effort guys - I felt terrible for you but I really appreciate it as the service was a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. Thank you from us and Merry Christmas !!

If I could give 10 stars I would. Cycleworld happened to be on my route to and from work, so has become my 'go to bike shop' for parts, servicing and repairs. From my very first time in the shop I was meet with a warm welcome from every staff members. The workshop have been extremely accommodating, getting me back on the road as soon as possible when the bike need to be fixed. Gavin in particular has been very encouraging and has provide great tips and advice about my bike and riding in general. I feel like I have my very own support crew.

Great little shop, with good knowledge and helpful attitude. I didn't know what bike i wanted, but I didn't want to spend a fortune. Visited 3 times before deciding and each time they remembered me and spent time answering all of my questions. I eventually decided on two bikes, which they had built up for me so I could give them a trial run out the back. Their helmets are very expensive though, so I did end up going to Kmart and buying on there instead :) Ask if you can get one of their potatoes that they cook out the back ;)

A few months ago I was looking for a new race bike. On a whim I walked into Cycleworld at Concord and started speaking to Brett. His service was excellent. Brett went out of his way to assist. He gave me a number of test rides on different bikes, explained differences in brands and gave me good information on correct bike sizing. I had been shopping around other bike shops but Brett simply made the best effort to help. He sold me a Fuji Transonic at very competitive price as well. Excellent sales and service!

I just wanted to thank you for your assistance with my transaction. I called searching for a balance bike for my son, and I asked them to hold it for me so I can make my way there (it was the last one). When I arrived, they had it behind the counter waiting for me. It sounds like a request that is so simple, but it is highly appreciated - especially for someone who has made many useless trips in the past, only to be met with disappointment upon arrival. Huge shop and range of bikes, brands and supplies. Priced fairly for a retail shop and servicing costs are reasonable. A lot of staff round to help out and all the guys are very knowledgeable. They stock ALAN from Italy, Tomassini from wherever it's from and they are looking for more. They do bike fitting however I'm not fully sure what level they are at as the room is not fully furnished. David the boss is a nice bloke who will stop to have a chat. Great local

Mark from Cycle World went out of his way to source a bike for me at a fantastic price ($1000 cheaper than RRP), as the bike had recently come off special, and was willing to ship it to me in Adelaide as I was unable to get such a good deal in my state. In the end, I decided to go for a different bike but want to recognise him and his willingness to help me secure a quality bike at a fantastic price. If were a local, I'd shop here without question.

First time I went looking for a MTB, Dave, the owner really took the time to educate me on what to look for. We spent hrs talking but unfortunately the bike I wanted was sold out in my size. Took my friend there today to get his first MTB and we encountered the same great customer service from Brett and Dave. These guys know bikes and their customer service is second to none. I would, and will keep recommending these guys for any biking needs.

Bad customer service. There was a middle aged woman who was so presumptuous, judgemental and wouldn’t give the time of the day when asked questions about the bikes. The guy who seemed like the owner was cocky and too busy to negotiate. Would not recommend this store to people who feel like shopping around should be an enjoyable experience. Go there if you exactly know what you want OR if the item that you’re after is competitively priced.

I am in Australia for vacation and had an issue with my rear hub. Walked in the shop today with the wheel and they were really nice and helped me immediately. They had some trouble at first and had to do some online research (it's a tandem hub - not something they see too often), but they stuck with it, interrupting their normal work to help me out. I was very impressed and very happy. Super nice people, good work and a great price.

I went to the shop for a basic one and it turned out the staff was very nice and patient. They let me tried 2 bikes for test riding and explained all the details to me. Experienced technician there answered all my questions as I knew nothing about bikes. The lady (staff) even wrote down all the details of the gear for me and showed several times how it works to ensure I get it. I will definitely recommend this bike shop to anyone!!!

I had a great experience buying my first proper hybrid bike within my price range. It was recommended to me to purchase the Liv Rove 4 (2020). I tested it the day I received it and it is great! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, I especially appreciate the after sale information on how to use the bike and even assisting me placing it into my car for transport home.

A great team of sales staff and mechanics who know their products and are always willing to help and offer advice. The place is busy sometimes and you may have to wait to be served, but they give you 110% when they do. Been a loyal customer of Dave & Hesna for almost a decade now, and will continue to consider them my LBS even though I moved out of the area 4 years ago.

Bought a new road bike. Happy with the product. Customer service however is very poor, inattentive & so laid back it felt more like being in someone's living room than being a customer. First service was ok. But again poor service. Mechanic boasts how he cycles over 90k a day & so is better than anyone who cycles less than this distance.

Really impressed by the dedication and help of "kiwi" in the workshop. I bought a new xd hub for my wife's bike and once fitted we were having a lot of problems. Took it into the workshop and he diagnosed the issue quickly and had it fixed within 30 minutes. Since then it's worked flawlessly. Very happy.

Lady is really pleasant to deal with, however, it's a bit of a mixed bag with the male staff. The grey haired gentleman who served me was relatively nice and attentive. Had a brand new Fuji bike which came with a bottle cage mounting bolt that wouldn't come out. Other bike shop told me I'd have to put it through warranty but the mechanic at Cycleworld brought his own tool from home and fixed it the next day. Appreciate the great expertise and service provided.

Went this weekend without an appointment to figure out why my bike was clicking while on the trainer. Weird issue overall but the team was super awesome in taking over an hour to diagnose it even though they had other customers coming in. Really appreciate the attention and time of the team!

I damaged my husband's bike, the back wheel fell off and the chain was very twisted. I took the bike in to see the guys and Cycleworld - they fixed it on the spot, no fuss, very friendly and helpful and less than 15minutes. And all for a minimal fee. I would highly recommend this bike shop

These guys have some good choice, do some good deals and have been around for a long time. Service could be more enthusiastic, and I had a dispute over a warranty charge, but generally a decent shop and nice to see a local bike shop surviving so long with so many closing.

Awesome people and knowledgeable about their products. They were able to provide good alternative options to the bike I bought. Only minor thing that could be improved was the tuning of the gears, I had to correct it a little bit to make it smoother. Fantastic bike shop.

After a shakey start when it took a while to be served, these guys were v helpful. They didn't push me into paying more. I explained that I wanted a tough bike, not a princess bike that would damage easily, and they showed me quite a few.
