I purchased a bed set back in 2021. They took $600 in advance and promised to deliver within two weeks. They took the money and did not deliver the product. Of course, I failed to take the money back from these crooks. I entered their store and a person approached me and since my wife was in Muslim attire and sales agent started with 'Asalam u Alaikum', a personalized greeting to win a customer's trust. He introduced himself with Mikaeel (name of an angel). We liked a bed set which was about $3000. We inquired as to how long it will take and they told us a week. We reiterated the fact that we urgently needed and we could wait up to two weeks max. So the Muslim Brother (not brother any more) put on the invoice, Delivery Date, "As soon as Possible" (Red flag). For the payment option they insisted to pay cash (red flag 2) to avoid taxes (red flag 3). We said we never pay in cash as for PURCHSE PROTECTION and walked away. Mikael brought us back saying that he would allowed to pay by card as an exception to his fellow Muslim. We paid and I made him write on the invoice that we will pay the remainder in card as well. Off we went, fast forward two weeks came by but the furniture did not. We started calling back and we were not able to speak with that person who ambassador himself as a Muslim but we got hold of another person Jared (in an email he claimed to be the manager). So Jared told me that my furniture was ready to ship but the mirror we requested is not ready. It was already 3 weeks now and we said fine, just send the remainder of the furniture and send the mirror when it comes because we were sleeping on the floor and it was cold. Jared at this time said that I had to pay two different delivery fee $65 for the furniture and $65 for the mirror. Does it make sese? He had a thug style, he either was not interested in customer service or the furniture was not ready he was using the mirror as an excuse. I asked how long the mirror would take and he made his promises for one week which I did not believe anyway. Regardless, I said fine I will wait. Boy for the next whole month no mention of furniture. I called and they would not pick up. I used another number to speak and it was Jared again, making false promises, lies, on and on. Fast forward, from Late 2021 and went to April 2022 and one day I got a call saying the furniture was ready and I needed to go to the store and pay for the remaining balance so that they can deliver the furniture. I drove all the way to Kennedy to their store. There I saw a man with his hands in his pockets acting like a little street thug. I introduced myself and told him the reason that I was there to pay. After my introduction his face complexion changed and we proceeded to the cash counter and he asked how I was going to pay for the furniture and I said by Debit (master card). There you go he found the excuse that they take only cash and if I pay with Debit he will add taxes on top of the Delivery and the $3000. When I told him that my balance owning as the invoice says is Tax inclusive. Of course, he was looking for an excuse as I knew the furniture was not ready. When we started arguing that it is written on the Invoice that I will be paying with Debit and payment owing is tax inclusive. Fast forward he kicked me out of the store. Literally told me to leave the store or else... It was an unbelievable experience. I left the store as I did not want to confront a man who is a pathetic Lier and he could do a harm. I wrote an email to their head office. I got an email from that office and they told that the store has informed them that the issue has been resolved. Actually the store had given me a number of a manager called Hassan who never picked up the phone and his voice mail said, it was Daniel and that is how they hd resolved the issue. Lost my $600. I gave them an option of Cash on Delivery, never heard back from them. I wish I could write the whole story here with all the emails, as the characters limit has excded. I lost my $600 and good luck.
August 30, 2023 Our initial experience was good but then it went downhill. On Monday, July 3rd we ordered a sectional, loveseat and a mattress. I stressed many times that we needed it by July 22nd because we had family coming from England. I was told repeatedly it would be no problem. Delivery would be approximately 2 weeks. We got a call on Monday, July 17th, saying the delivery would happen that day or on Tuesday. There was no delivery and they didn’t even have the decency to call and reschedule. We made repeated calls and it was a circus. They didn’t know where the furniture was, promised they would get back to us and didn’t. On Thursday when I was talking to a lady in the office, I said please cancel the mattress. I even called back again and left a voicemail saying the same thing. Because of my work schedule, we bought a mattress on Sunday morning (23) just before we headed to the airport. While we were at the gate waiting for our family I got a call saying that the furniture would be delivered tomorrow (July 24) including the mattress. I said I cancelled the mattress on Thursday, and he said I had to take it. We went back and forth for at least 20 minutes. Then he said he would get the salesman to call me. The salesman took no responsibility and started playing the victim. He said his boss would be upset, etc. We went back and forth for at least half an hour. He said I had to take the mattress because it was part of the deal and his boss would not be happy with him and may just cancel the deal. I said, what kind of business would lose a deal for something that was their mistake? I went through how many phone calls we made, and how many people we talked to and not once did anyone say, “Seems like we messed up. Let me check into this and get back to you.” He said he would talk to the boss and get back to me. didn’t believe a word he said and I doubted he would do even that. He called back and said he took the mattress off the deal and would deliver everything else on Monday around 5 p.m. But it was not over. My wife got a call saying they would deliver between 7 - 11 p.m. Then I got a call at 10:30 asking how I felt about getting the furniture at midnight. I said bring it. I knew if I said no the excuse would be that if not they would not be in our area for another week. The truck pulled in at 12:20 a.m., you read that correctly. 12:20 a.m. You don’t realize how loud the backup warning alarm is on a truck until you hear it at that hour in the morning. Understandably, the two guys were not happy and I wouldn’t be either. They left at 1:20 a.m. I don’t expect things to go perfectly and this whole frustrating ordeal would have been avoided by taking the mattress out of the deal instead of trying to force me to take it. I can say buying from Danny Furniture was the worst buying experience and lack of communication from a company I have ever encountered. I checked and they are not part of the Better Business Bureau and that says a lot.

Not only did this cause significant inconvenience, but it also reflects a blatant disregard for the quality of products the store offers and the care they extend to their clients. To make matters worse, it seems that once the sale was completed, all traces of customer service vanished into thin air. There was no attempt to rectify the situation, no follow-up, and no concern shown for our dissatisfaction. It's deeply troubling to realize that after investing our hard-earned money in the store, we were essentially left to deal with the aftermath of a subpar purchase on our own. Moreover, the lack of effective communication from Danny’s team was disheartening. Proper communication is fundamental in any business, and it was evident that their staff lacks the basic skills necessary to interact with clients in a respectful and courteous manner. PLEASE do not buy from this store, their company will leave you stressed and they really do not care about their customers. Buy from an actual furniture store, do not waste your precious time and money with this store. Frankly, I cannot fathom how such practices are tolerated at Danny's Furniture, and I sincerely hope this is not reflective of the values the business upholds. As a customer that I purchased multiple items at once, I expected more from the establishment and had hoped to forge a lasting relationship built on trust and mutual respect. I implore to take this matter seriously and conduct a thorough investigation into the conduct of Daman and your overall customer service practices. This is not an experience I wish for anyone else to endure, and it demands immediate attention. As a resolution, I expect a timely response outlining the steps you will take to address these issues and prevent such occurrences in the future.
One star is really too much for these scammers. My friend and I bought a sofa, a dining table, a coffee table and a bad bank from this fraudulent store. These fraudsters promised to deliver to us in two weeks, but it took about two months. These fraudsters changed the color of the sofa fabric. These scammers changed the marble on the coffee table that we chose and sent us what they had in stock. They just assembled the furniture and the base of the dining table and left the rest and left. This store and its sellers are scammers. They fraudulently sell their defective products and then they don't answer you. My friend and I went to their shop several times and asked why they sent it like that, and every time they said very rude things to us. Even the last time, which was just a few days ago, they brought the police to us. Please do not buy from this brand and this store. They are fraudsters and fraudsters and whatever you can imagine. Of course, I coordinated with the lawyer and am completing the case for them. I request friends who experienced the same situation as us to coordinate with me and send me a message so that I can send you a complaint letter and complete it so that we can make a very heavy case for these fraudsters to bring them to court. Would share zero stars if I could. I placed an order for a couch on September 30th and was guaranteed a delivery by Oct 7, we followed up and we’re told there was a delay and to further wait. Went in person twice and were told that it would be delivered on the 14th and then moved to the 18th. They told us that it was a “supplier” issue and when we asked for a refund they said the couch was already built and on its way. The new date was supposed to be the 18th and still no update as of today. Truly disappointed in the lack of quality mof service and lack of transparency amongst this team and their sales reps as it has completely ruined all plans I had for October (including birthday celebrations). It’s now past the 3 dates they’ve told us the couch would be delivered with no updates. Would prefer some honesty and integrity from an organization that knows when they can’t deliver on their promises. Additionally if a supplier is continuously delaying shipments and making customers angry it’s probably best to change suppliers. I no longer want the couch given the terrible customer service, this place is a fraud and scam and I’ll be letting family and friends know.
This has been the worst customer experience in my life . Pls avoid this company at all costs they are scammers and steal your money. I ordered furniture a month ago and made sure it will be delivered in a week. They promised me so that’s why I purchased it . 1 month later the items didn’t show up and only a few did . The delivery team and everyone is Scarborough lies with false promises . They tell me it will be delivered multiple times at 10PM which is unheard of and still today they have not . Arav is not professional. gatham the delivery manager is the biggest liar and all his staff, Nazleen , Noor and the rest of the team. They don’t answer your calls and make your so stressful . I paid them all in cash and I will be filing a consumer protection complaint on this company. You can’t escalate to anyone as no one wants to speak or pick up your call. TRUST ME SHOP ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE . THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND NEVER GIVE YOUR PRODUCTS AGAIN. THIS IS A FAKE BUSINESS AND A BUNCH OF SCAMMERS . ANIL THE STORE MANAGER WILL ALSO WILL RUN AND NEVER CALL YOU . I will be taking further action!!!! Save your self some sanity and stress and go somewhere else .
Communication was severely lacking, with unanswered phone calls and unfulfilled promises. Despite multiple attempts to request for updates they never answered or provided conflicting information. There was a lot of back and forth and showing up with the person in the showroom's first response turning the customer away if you haven't received a phone call (even though when we called for updates they said we can pick it up and there was no need to call prior to coming). We had to go as far as almost filing a consumer complaint with Consumer Protection Ontario before they called with an update nearly TWO MONTHS after an "approximately 1 week delivery date". Things were also frustrating on pick up day when the product wasn't there and they wouldn't provide a refund. Adding insult to injury, when we were leaving Arav suggested we should have PAID A HIGHER DEPOSIT FOR FASTER DELIVERY and to note that for future purchases, NO RESPONSIBILITY taken whatsoever for the extensive delays we endured. Waiting two months for a product is far beyond what is reasonable or acceptable, regardless of any fine print.
I do home staging, I found want I was looking for at Danny’s Home Decor with reasonable pricing. I made last minutes full home staging furnitures order with them, they made arrangement for pick up next day. I have shopped at many places for my staging but I found lots of energy, positive vibes and good customer service with Mikhail. He also send follow up messages to make sure that we are happy with the service and the products, as a result of that I ended up ordering mattress and sofa for my client to set up cottage. I have personally visited the cottage and had comfortable relaxing sleep over. Mikhail was very helpful and very honest with his opinion that helped me to choice the right products for home staging, home and cottage needs. Mikhail took his time to answer all my questions with passion and I see a bright future for him, I personally messaged and wished him the same. We are beyond satisfied with the experience. Do NOT buy from this company. The employees and the owner are all scammers and fraudulent people. Bought a bed from them months ago. They were quick to take my money and assured me it would be delivered by end of week. It wasn't. The sales guy kept ignoring my calls. Called the store and they assured me the bed would be delivered in a few days. It wasn't. I kept getting these fake promises. Finally a month later they tell me it's out of stock and instead of a refund I could pick another bed. Suddenly any bed I picked I would need to pay more with no ETA on delivery. I demanded a refund and they told me to send an email and I would get the refund. I did and still no refund. I went to see them, I called, I emailed but no reply. No bed, no refund and all of the employees claim they are sales professionals. No they have committed fraud.
I purchased furniture last year under warrantee and no response from Anil the owner...once he called and asked me to go to the store and he was not there. My sofa looks bad and I wanted to get if fixed and he doesn't respond to anything. He gets mad at people who write reviews...wonder why....to many big promises with no delivery from Anil...talks a great game. Now I need to purchase another sofa as I can't seem to get this one fixed. I do not want to give you any starts. Honestly you need to take a course on customer service as you will only get people to buy from you once and never come back to you, eventually you will run out of clients. I am so sorry I bought furniture from you and so are my friends that are still waiting for you to fix there sofa...seriously
Not worth even 1 star. I bought sofa which was supposed to be delivered within 2 weeks. I made too many calls and text messages, but no answer from their end. I finally went at the location did not leave from the place until I got confirmation for delivery. Still on the confirmed date I did not get my delivery and when I went again at the location they told me I will not get any refund and need to wait for delivery. For the delay I was promised for an in store purchase credit which was never been received. After more than a month I got delivery at night that too around 9:45 pm and left at one place and went before I check it. They even charged $75 for the installation fee extra and did not do there job completely. NOT RECOMMENDED at all. Negative rating.
Just bought two grand chairs from danny's recently, and also purchased a custom couch for our family room in the past. The team offers amazing customer service and the chairs are incredible quality. They're not only stylish but also incredibly comfortable. Their delivery and customization process is timely and intuitive. Highly recommend this store for top-tier furniture and exceptional service! I ordered a custom sofa set and just received the order 2 days ago. The order was delivered on schedule as promised. Great packing and amazing quality! I am so impressed and will definitely go back to them for future. Had a great experience buying a sectional pull out couch. Arav was very knowledgeable and made the purchase process very easy.

Update: OK they replaced the broken dresser after one and half month after I wrote this review. We liked the bed set. This place have better price that other furniture store. Just a tip for everyone, if you buy a complicated furniture set spend 100$ for setup, otherwise you will be in pain. ################################### One of the worst customer service. They will say they do everything, but once you give them any money you are hooked. One of the worst deliveries ever. They left the sofa set in the garage. They the dresser is broken on the corner. Been there 3 times, no body picks up the phone. They said that they will give a new dresser but no phone call or nothing.
I will never ever recommend anyone to purchase anything from this store, they show you good furniture but send old ones upon delivery and after you ask for replacement they always have different excuses and finally they stop answering the phone. I am waiting on replacement for over 6months. I have also spoken to owner of the store Danny who assured me that it will taken care but no use. I have left so many voicemails for service but no one cares. It’s total waste of time and money. Finally I choose today to add this review so if someone from their company do cares they can reach me, which I am highly doubted. Very disappointed with them.

Extremely poor customer service. Will make promises and not deliver. Will definitely give you the run around. No one answers the store phone, went in person and spoke to the apparent owner, gave me his number and once again, made excuses not to answer calls. Had to make at least 5 trips to the store to get my furniture. I did not need delivery but because of the whole situation the owner promised me delivery and of course didn’t come through. Went back in the store and my items (dining chairs) were left outside the store for me to pick up. Avoid this place and shop elsewhere and save yourself the hassle.

Recently I purchased a set of sectional sofa from this place and had a lot of issues such as , receiving the order 2 weeks later than the promised date, after opening the box of the parts there was no manual for installation, some of the legs of the sofa were cracked, the legs of the middle part of sofa were short in the front and back and because of it that part of sofa is rocking once we sit on it, the color of the fabric is not matching the one I ordered. For all these reasons I strongly would not recommend this company to purchase from at all.

The wrose Business organization in canada, I bought a dinning table and couple small furnitures from them May 17, 2023 from kenndy road. I got damaged furniture, chairs 4 , 2 different color, aftrr so many call they chaged after 3 months, still didn't get one item. Not even money back. They so nice when they selling when I want what you buy the manager and employee name Areb so rude use "f" with you. They like scamer gang, now I complain to BBB and I waiting for investigation. No one should suffer by them like me.

We had a great experience at Danny’s home decor, I was sceptical at first, due to reviews saying a lot of different things, but they delivered and the furniture is impeccable, I would say a lot of the bad reviews probably came from COVID time, since stuff wasn’t being shipped from places and customers probably didn’t expect the long delays neither did the company, and that’s not the stores fault, but again like I said I had a great experience, and I would buy again from this store.
They have terrible customer service. I bought sofa and dining set . They were supposed to send my order in two weeks. Now two months later, they brought it, while the sofas have a problem, the fabric of the cushions is different. The dining chairs have the wrong fabric. The marble of the dining table is broken. No one is responsible and does not accept. They always promise me. I do not recommend at all. This is my house situation after bought from danny’s home decor.
I visited the store after watching a few videos online and found the staff very well informed and friendly. They suggested products on sale and helped me save money and also assured delivery for the products. I was informed timely of my delivery timeline and they communicated regularly. I had a few wishes and changes last minute which they accommodated. Very satisfied with my experience and would recommend anyone looking for change and new comers equally.
I had a fantastic experience at Danny Furniture. The bed set, couch, and table set exceeded my expectations – they’re not only stylish but also incredibly comfortable. What impressed me most was the seamless delivery; everything arrived exactly when the manager promised. Speaking of the manager, their friendliness and accommodation made the whole process enjoyable. I highly recommend Danny Furniture for top-notch products and excellent customer service!
Not a reliable shop. Sales guys in the store speak very good and promise everything, once the order is placed no one will care about the customer. Especially Delivery team is total DUMP. They really don't have any control on delivery. For me the delivery was delayed a month than the promised date. Delivery team people lie and tell all the silly all reasons. If you need the furniture on time DON'T order to these guys, 100% they will screw up.

Very disappointed.don’t get in to their traps after taking money they are not going to pick up phone . Delivery late for 1.5 months . They damaged my doors and wall too .didn’t even repairs and delivery guy left sofa outside . We called technician to do that and paid extra 250 dollar on top of sofa . Never ever going to buy them again .Hassan ,Lagan ,Aarav and mahek those 4 people are responsible for my entire scenario .
Special thanks to salesperson Lagan to make my entire purchase pleasant. He was friendly very knowledgeable and helpful. All of the features of the product I was looking for were explained and demonstrated. We felt no pressure to make a decision. The purchase was made and the delivery was scheduled for a couple day later. The delivery was made on time and the furniture was in perfect condition. Highly recommend.
Worst service. Literal thieves. If I could, I would give them 0 stars. Initially delivery late by 2 months. Then table received was chipped, was promised a $250 gift card(subject to a $2k purchase) Next, the sofa we took, they said there is warranty - their cusions are literally dead in 5 months - not covered under warranty and is regular wear and tear apparently. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!
If i could give these scammers negative stars i would. Do not deal with these damn scammers, sales reps are the lowest of low. Do not buy your furniture here. You will probably never receive it and if you do it will most definitely be damaged. These guys are just after your money, once they get it all customer service goes out the window. If I could, i would give them a 0 star rating. Their customer service is absolutely terrible. They delivered a broken table to me and my sofa was missing a leg. They charged me for warranty and not only did they not replace my order, they won't even answer my phone calls. I wish I never bought my furniture from them. Please stay away from this store.

These people are grade-one cheaters. They never delivered our sofa for 2 months and kept telling some or other excuses. We told them to refund our $400 or let us choose some other items. They eventually stopped picking up our phones and never paid us back our advance amount. DON'T TRUST THEM.

I bought a Queen bedroom and when they deliver it,it was was not brand new they just brought it from the show room . The worst thing we found bed bugs in the bed after three month. I had no choice so I just threw it to the garbage. I lost $1100.

Do not buy there worst customer service will not delivered on time delay for hole month. Also, promise customer they will not keep after they get paid in full. They don't care to give update on the furniture.
There should be Zero star option for scammers. Purchased a sofa which was delivered unfinished without even screw holes. Tried to reach them several times but they would not attend once you have paid.
