Finally writing a review because we’re constantly telling our friends/family about how great Deepak’s Dhaba is! We discovered this amazing and convenient food during the first lockdown in 2020 and have been eating it EVERY week ever since. The food is incredible! We’ve tried every dish and all are excellent. So tasty without being overly heavy or oily. Try the Mutter Paneer (peas and cheese in delicious mild creamy sauce)… it will blow your mind! Deepak (the owner/chef) is delightful and puts so much love into each dish. I’ve started following him on Instagram and he often posts pictures/videos of him starting the day by toasting his spices. He truly understands the essence of flavourful food preparation. We’re so excited to dine in at his new location opening soon on Centre Street!

The food was very delicious. We ordered paneer butter masala, dhal fry, tandoori roti, garlic naan and jeera rice. The taste of the food is very authentic and comparable to good quality restaurants back in India. The menu is divided into vegan, vegetarian, chicken and beef options. We were offered free firni at the end of our meal conplementary amd it was delicious too. Highly recommended and will visit again.

One of the Authentic Indian Restaurants. Great to see chef Alex knowing all the tips and tricks about Indian Food and cooking food from the heart. Veg Samosa was delicious to taste in addition to the Channa Masala and Tandoori Roti. Worth experiencing in Calgary

Love coming here, 10/10 recommend- anytime I’m in the city on a weekend this is my favourite haunt. The coconut cauliflower curry is absolutely to die for along with the chana masala. My husband orders the beef vindaloo and butter chicken and it’s perfectly spiced and tender. I try to snag a few for the freezer too which are always great for those busy weekday nights.

The food is just as amazing each time I eat there. I just love their dish Mutter Paneer which I keep coming back for. The owner and staff are exceptional. Thankyou so much will return. Sorry no photo, couldn’t wait for scarf it down.

True panjabi style dhaba food , delicious food. Missi roti was outstanding , attention to detail is amazing in chutney, salad and innovative drink (coconut mango lassi) Mr Deepak is very courteous and hard working and keeps the Restaurent in order.

Amazingly delicious and flavourful dishes!! We’ve purchased many frozen dishes to have on hand during busy days when we can’t cook. Sometimes will add more of our own protein to the saucy dishes and enjoy with their naan bread and it’s a complete meal. Can’t wait to dine in at their Centre Street location!

There were beef options but no pork options. Dal fry was burnt and had that wrong burnt after taste. Dal Makhani was good. Paneer Masala was sweet. Chicken Masala was fine. Bread was outstanding

Ordered Okra masala for take out. Okra was swimming in oil, didn't have much of a flavor. Tva roti was fine. All in all food was not worth the money at all.
