Two bash merchants attended. One couldn’t speak English. Items were damaged during the move & when brought to their attention, they took a week to reply. A tv was broken, a fridge frame was cracked, hot water tubing to the washing machine was broken, a handle of a chest of drawers was completely broken off. A couple of the doorways at the destination property were heavily impacted. The response was: “You signed our job sheet stating you had checked the property for loss and damages and no faults were found. In this scenario we cannot offer you anything aside from the assistance with the repairs to the damaged doorway, providing you provide us with photos”. Because obviously I checked every item after the move on the day of the move when I was required to sign the job off on the day at the conclusion. Or I “could go through their insurance claims & pay a $500 excess”. Yeah nah. It’s chargeback time via my bank & I wouldn’t use these movers again if it was free. Beware. I’d be analysing the 82 5 star reviews here…. A lip service response from customer care is not accurate. We physically saw with our own eyes the fridge collide with a doorway & break when moved by Stefan. There is an entire handle broken from a chest of drawers. The hot water pipe connector to the washing machine was squashed beyond repair when reattached at the connector. There is a crack in the tv. Furniture was knocked into multiple doorways. None of these items were damaged previously & were in good working order. A “fair solution” is to pay a 500 dollar excess for damage inflicted by Dial A Mover employees? It is not physically possible to check every item of a household at “completion” of a move. As stated, further action will be sought via my bank. The movers couldn’t even provide a final price or invoice on the day. But of course a “sign off” was readily available…

BEWARE. BE WARNED. At the onset let me say that their Removalists were Excellent workers, very professional, efficient and nice. And if only this review is about them, I would give them all 5 stars. The problem is with Management. First of all, their rates is among the highest in the industry, @$250 per hour for a Removalist job of 3 bedroom house [moving from a 2 floor house into a 1 floor house] PLUS a call out fee equivalent to 1 hour or another $250. Then comes the 2 highly questionable aspect. 1st - the wrong amount billed. When I questioned why my total bill reached $1800+ of above mentioned job, only then upon review, did they admitted that there was a mistake in the computation, and that I was overcharged and was entitled for a refund of $328.32! What if I have not bother to review? 2nd - is their casual use of my credit card. When I paid them the required deposit, I used my credit card. Just for that - the deposit. I was so surprised later, when without clear, proper, noticed and permission, and without informing me first of my total bill, my credit card was already charged of the same. Overall, No, I was not a happy and satisfied customer of Dial A Mover with the above experienced.

What can I say, I would give them 10 stars if I could. Our other.movers Cancelled last min and these guys were happy to step in and help us move last min. The team arrived on time and were extremely pleasant and keen to get started. The boys got straight into it with no breaks, had our house loaded in a couple of hours. They were very careful with fragile items and ensure everything was moved without any damage to the property or goods. Unloading was a breeze, everything was put at the right place and bedsheet and furniture assembled. If you need movers dont hesitate and call these guys by far the best moving company we have ever dealt with. Boys were strong, friendly and keen to get things happening. Just want to say a huge thanks to the guys at dial a mover, I called to book giving them a couple days notice for needing a whole house move, then the night before I had to message and ask if it was ok for them to help me out with getting things to storage as my plans of having a hire truck myself got cancelled last minute and they said it was alright, big day for everyone but honestly couldn’t of done it without them or I could of it just would of taken me days not hours couldn’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done, after seeing their efficiency and worth ethics today my sister plans on hiring them for when she moves as well. Had the boys from dial a mover assist in my recent move from mickleham to keilor, after being being stuffed around with another local mover who cancelled on the day, i was left making phone calls and the guys at dial a mover were able to squeeze me in later in the day with a crew of 6 men, the move went swiftly and quickly, all boxes were placed in the rooms where requested, the boys were amazing taking extreme care with my furniture from wrapping all couches in plastic film to even taking apart our beds and putting them together, I'll definitely be using dial a mover again and will be recommending them to all family and friends Ali

We wanted to give a 5 star review to our removalists Isaiah and Seth who helped us move. They were efficient, cautious and were a delight to chat to throughout the move. Knowing we could rely on them to treat our property with respect relieved a tonne of the stress we had relating to the move. They even masterfully handled a disgruntled next door neighbour who rudely approached them because she could not see past the legally parked truck to safely get out of her drive way. The boys then kindly assisted by personally blocking off the road for her to allow her to get out safely. We could not be happier with the level of service!

My friends were extremely happy with Dial A Mover upon which my son engaged them as well, with the same pleasing result. Easy to organise, Isaiah provided clear explanation of the service and a accurate estimation of timing for my move. We were recommended to Dial a mover by our estate agent. Highlights: Isauah and his team of 5 removalists were courteous and arrived punctually. They systematically removed all our stuff from a 3 storey residence. It was mammoth. Improvements/suggestions: If they could have provided boxes free of charge prior that would have been a great help. Seth and Tom were absolute lifesavers when moving us out of Brunswick. They arrived with a really warm and positive attitude, and then got to work once we ran through what needed to go. Isaiah and Kingsley were absolute legends. We had called 7 separate companies trying to move a large fridge (approx. 735 litres) up the first floor and our place has such narrow staircase, most companies said no straight away. NOT Dial A Mover. They came out on a very short notice to assess if it is possible and helped us out straightaway. It was honestly a very tough job and they managed to do it. Would highly recommend! To me it definitely felt like they did the impossible!

I used Dial a Mover for my first ever move out of my family home! I was cutting off my family and asked Isaiah and his team not to disclose the location of my new address to my family and they didn't. Worth the price.They made an overwhelming task for me a lot easier. I had to move out of a 3rd level unit with only stairs. They did the work fast and nothing daunted them.
