The initial scheduling process was a breeze, or at least I thought it was. The man helping me was courteous and professional and there was availability on the date I requested. This positive first impression gave me confidence that the move would be super smooth and this really helped me sleep easy at night because we were moving on the final day or our lease. The move date arrived and three men arrived early. This was nice because we were highly motivated to get moving! Upon meeting in person though, the lead, "Sean," was notably dissatisfied from the start. I was initially confused and curious as to why he was repeatedly frowning at me as I walked him around the office describing what needed to be done. I didn't make much of it though as it didn't really matter to me what kind of mood he was in, I just wanted to move my office. The rude behavior increased in frequency and intensity throughout the move, though. By the time we had packed the truck, nearly every interaction resulted in frowns and/or audible gasps. This behavior digressed further into him repeatedly pestering me that there was too much work. Additionally confusing to me was that the guys were meticulously bubble wrapping EVERYTHING from delicate items that actually needed special care to 20 dollar end tables, individual light bulbs and other items that I asked them to throw away. It was almost as if they were intentionally dragging their feet. This of course was extremely confusing to me given that they were repeatedly complaining that they thought the job was too large. Maybe this was because the lead seemed to be specifically upset with me for miscalculating the effort of the job. Evidently, there was a web form where I had indicated that it would be a straightforward move. Even though I had a lengthy verbal conversation on the initial call, outlining the specific details of the job, it seems as though the one sentence description from the webform was the only piece of information that was communicated with the actual movers. While I feel like the moving company should take some responsibility for miscommunications regarding the size of a job, I still made multiple attempts to apologize and connect with him in a positive way. Even now, I'm happy to apologize to the intake person if I miscalculated the move. In reality, though, I still think it should have been a "straightforward move." Admittedly, I'm not a mover myself and I don't have any experience estimating job size, nor was I even aware that this would be the expectation. In addition to the apologies, I spent the entire time moving items myself. Unfortunately, though, my efforts to reconcile with Sean were not met with compassion and understanding. To the contrary, the interactions were so negative and uncomfortable, that immediately following the final piece of furniture moving off the truck, I acquiesced to there wishes and I sent the team home. Unfortunately, this meant that everything in my entire office was still in bubble wrap and I had to hire a separate group of men to unpack and move the items within the new office. I gave them a 20% tip because Sean specifically asked for it and I'm not really looking to escalate an already escalated situation. In reality, though, this was a notably negative experience for me. On a lighter note, I'm happy to say that the task of bringing new men in to finish the job was actually super simple. Not surprisingly, the job immediately went back to being as straightforward as I had imagined it. In comparison to managing the negative energy and strange behavior of the previous day, I was just relieved and happy to be in my new office space! ps, the movers also made more than one mistake, most notably, making two large scratches on my newly installed flooring. After initially attempting to ignore it, when prompted, the lead told me that he had already scheduled a follow up person to come in and address the damage. Nobody ever contacted me for follow up.

Not the best. I hired Diamond Movers to move my 2 bedroom apartment more than a month in advanced. The first 30 min the movers moved all my boxes onto the truck (which I left ready in the garage.) When they realized how fast they were working they slowed down in attempt to milk the clock since they charge per hour. I began to use their dolly’s to move furniture while they took a water break. I hired 2 movers and they sent 3 movers in which only 1 was moving quick. The second mover was talking on the phone with his AirPods on most of the time and had no urgency. The third mover was an older/slower man (50s) that was past his prime. So it equaled to 2 movers. Up to this point I didn’t complain because I don’t mind helping so I continued to pick up their slack in order to turn in my apartment on time. At the end of the move they charged me $50 over the quoted price and mover became extremely aggressive when I didn’t leave a $60 tip. (Which he said “$60 tip is what we get when we do a move”.)We went back and forth for a couple of minutes and I agreed to leave a $10 tip on top of the extra $50 surcharge. The payment process was very uncomfortable. I don’t mind leaving a 15% tip but once you start milking the clock in order to squeeze more money out of me you’ve already include your tip in the surcharge. I would only recommend this company if a flat rate is agreed before the move. It’s the only way movers will work with a sense of urgency vs hourly rate. Next time I’ll be renting a U-Haul and doing it myself.

This was 100% Diamond Movers. Almas was the person who provided the quote. These people will rip you off! I was given a not to exceed quote and they charged my credit card, without my consent, an amount higher than the not to exceed amount. I was quoted for services that they did not do, and then charged me more than they said they would. The only bright spot is the moving guys did a pretty good job, but they will steal your money!! I had a long conversation with the person who bid the job and we agreed on a total amount based on them not completing the work I was quoted they would do. Instead of sending me an invoice for the agreed total like he said they would, they charged my card for more than the not to exceed amount. Almas was the person who we were in contact with throughout the move, when we said we were concerned about how slow the progress was. Additionally Almas is we spoke to at length at the end of our move. He was the one who said he would send me an invoice for the remaining about to a total that we agreed on. Instead the company over charged me, exceeding both what we agreed to AND going over the not to exceed quote. Beware of these people!

I ordered the service Sep 10th. The leader is supportive and responsible but the two crews are not professional. My wife’s diamond ring was in jewelry box which carried by ourselves and placed in the bathroom of master bedroom. It was missing after the two crews assembled the bed in that room. So we told them if it didn’t show up we will call police. Then we left and came back about 10 minutes later, the ring appeared in a open box downstairs. After the crews left, we also found one pair of gold earrings missing. One was found in guest room first floor where we didn’t carry the jewelry box into at all, the other is still missing. In addition, the two crews are low efficient. Only the leader was working hard. Moving same stuffs from 80miles down here one year ago took about 9 hours. This time, domestic moving in same city around 11 miles took 7.5hours. And the trash like wrapping papers were left outside the garage door after they left. I had to take care of those myself. First time experienced this.

They showed up on-time and did a good enough job. However, we were put off when the foreman said, I don't want to be rude, but normal tip is 20% and I didn't want to say anything yesterday - as I was handing them a generous tip and had tipped them well the day before and bought all of them lunch and gave them all waters and soda all day - yes, that is super rude. Especially when the office manager said $20-50 was customary and I tipped way more than that. A 20% tip on a $4,000 move, are you serious? That's outrageous. Tips are gratuity, not required. They under quoted everything and it ended up costing more and taking longer. Most of them did not wear masks nor did they ask if we wanted them to wear masks. They used an excessive amount of tape, but nothing broke so can't complain there. They were supposed to have carpet shield and did not. Fortunately, I laid floor protection. The tip comment was very off-putting and ruined the whole experience and their review.

We recently moved and am so happy we hired professional movers to do the literal heavy lifting and moving the very large furniture. I am so glad we did this!!! The movers saved us from back pain and possibly hurting ourselves carrying furniture down 2 flights of stairs from our old house to our 3 story new house. The movers were professional, on time, and FAST!!! They wrapped all the furniture in cloth and plastic wrap. The beds were protected in plastic (so no icky bugs get in during transport). They made moving smoother and less of a headache and was worth every penny!!!! Thank you Miguel, Adlan, and Ulan for your hard work, quickness, and professionalism. You all helped make my move a, springily, pleasant experience. If we ever move again, we will be calling Diamond Movers!

Diamond Movers have been FANTASTIC! I highly recommend them. My partner and I both have back problems, so we needed a trust worthy company to help us out with our long distance move. It's always tough to trust someone driving away with all your belongings and you can only cross your fingers hoping it'll work out ok, nothing will break, etc; but I'm so glad we trusted Diamond Movers. The whole quote process was low stress starting thanks to Jane and Almas, and the low stress, low pressure atmosphere continued all the way through the end of our move with Vlad and Allen. Moving is always a little stressful, but this is probably the least stressful, best coordinated move I've ever experienced (I've moved... 6 times in 15 years). Thank you guys!!!

They did a great job! The young men who did our move were very professional, capable, and accommodating. Also, the price was very affordable and definitely a good value overall. I have moved a few times with professionals, and this was the best experience I've had so far. We had to go to three pick up places plus the drop off destination, and they worked VERY fast. Yet, they were very careful with the furniture and didn't bump the walls once. Also, we moved a piano, and I had them adjust it two different times, and they didn't complain once. It was service with a smile and a good, friendly experience overall. They were recommended to me by a co-worker, and I will definitely be reccomending them to others myself!

I have been running sales teams and business professionals for over 20 years and tend to be very critical of service I recieve as a result. Diamon movers knocked it out of the park. Our foreman Vlad and his helpers Sergey and Malik were by far the most professional, personable and polite folks I have ever had the pleasure of hiring for any service. Prior to beginning, Vlad walked our home and provided an updated estimate as well as set great expectations for timeline, additional costs if needed, and the work rate we could expect. Absolutely phenomenal performance by the team and Diamon Movers. Quick, effecient and conscious of the delicate items, I can give them my wholehearted recommendation.

My Diamond experience was poor. They packed terribly, putting heavy and breakable items in the same box, left items in drawers then flipped the furniture upside down or flipped the boxes upside down, dumping the contents everywhere. When unloading, they did not consistently put boxes into the rooms as labeled, forcing me to hunt all over for items and then move them myself. On top of this, they overcharged me 2 hours = $500, pressuring me when I questioned it, saying they worked hard, so really did 2 extra hours of work! When I complained to the office, they refused to refund the money. Stay away and work with a company that will be honest and only charge you for services received.

ABOVE AND BEYOND. I had the pleasure of hiring Diamond Movers to move my stuff from Irvine to Los Angeles. Ora's team were amazing and professional. They were punctual and packed, moved and unpacked all my furniture and belongings with care and treated me with kindness and respect. Not a single scratch on my furniture. They were very patient with my requests to disassemble and assemble whenever I asked them to. Ora's team are passionate about their job and care for their customers' need. I had a very wonderful experience with Diamond Movers. They were very responsive from the very beginning, answering any questions I had along the way. In fact I think Jane answered an email I had sent within minutes of sending. The crew the day of the move was on time and polite. They got the job done quickly and professionally, and didn’t break a single thing! Two things were actually left on the moving truck (which I should’ve checked before they left) and they were returned to me as soon as I realized they were missing. I greatly appreciate the help they gave us, and will use them again for our next move.

This was a straight forward move from a 1bdrm condo to a 2bd 2bath home with Diamond Movers. The move took 4hrs vs the intended 3 but I believe this was due to the movers taking precaution to make sure the furniture and home was protected. They added multiple layers of support so that nothing is damaged. So just expect to pay a bit more than the estimate due to extended time. Also! Apparently there is a double time charge for travel AND a card fee if you pay with card. All things that were not laid out as clear in the contract but I feel others need to know this if it is standard. Happy moving!

This has been the BEST moving experience BY FAR!!! Eduardo and his crew arrived on time, immediately got to work, courteous, most importantly kept moving (they did not lollygag around). I will definitely be using Diamond movers (hopefully get Eduardo and his crew) again. They carefully moved large bulky furniture and maneuvered them around narrow corners and halls. I would highly recommend them. I hired moving companies in the past and no other companies were as professional and forthcoming about pricing. I received a digital invoice and contract, and communication was of high value.

Our family has made several moves, (in state to cross-country) and our experience with Tom and his crew has been our best one yet. Diamond Movers were friendly, respectful, organized and hard-working. Today's cross-town move took them less than 5 hours for a 3 bedroom, 2,000sqft home including appliances and patio furniture! (In our experience, that's a fast move.) Not only were we given an accurate quote, but they were also very reasonably priced. We sincerely have no complaints! Should we need movers again, they'll be our first call. Highly recommended!

The team at Diamond Movers were great! When I started the process, I reached out to three different companies, Jahaira at Diamond was the first to get back to me with a very clear and affordable quote. They were very communicative all the way up leading to the move. On the day of the move, the team of three: Miguel, Baja, and Misha showed up on time and worked efficiently all day. They carefully wrapped all of my furniture and everything was moved without any damage. Diamond movers made the whole experience easy and hassle free. I highly recommend them!

They were awesome! We were assisted by a 6 man crew and 2 trucks. Everyone worked super hard, was very respectful, and seemed incredibly focused on making the move as easy and efficient as possible. The crew leader, Brian, was knowledgeable, personable, and incredibly positive. He communicated with us every step of the way. They went above and beyond and although we paid above the estimated cost, there were additional space and delivery obstacles (a very steep driveway) that warranted the final price. They’re services we’re worth every cent.

DO NOT USE *Movers took excessive breaks, stole items from my home. When confronted at the new house because I labeled the boxes and two were missing the foreman "Mike" said he wouldn't call anyone at his office to assist. So I called the police. The manager then called me to settle the situation and promised he'd help me file a claim with their insurance which he doesn't have. He only offered me .60c per pound for the lost items which were collectibles worth thousands. Worst movers I've ever hired. Period.

Nick and Jax helped me with my move. The window of arrival was 8-10 AM, and they called promptly at 8 saying they'd be there in 20 minutes, which they nailed. While I didn't have a lot of stuff, I was concerned about moving a washer and dryer out of my tiny house. These two did it with ease! They also safely wrapped all my furniture for transport. When they noticed my wooden bed frame was wobbly, they stopped to tighten it up before placing it in my new house! I would definitely recommend Diamond Movers.

The best moving company I have ever worked with and used. I just moved yesterday 11/15/2022 and from beginning to end, even setting things up was I listened to and everything was done exactly how I asked. No walls damaged, no furniture broken, excellent communication and so much more. I have moved easily 60x in my life and this was the best experience ever. My crew as: Max, Lecha, Said and just wonderful humans who took care of me and my items.

Diamond movers did a great job for me. I am a Senior, and it was great not having to worry about doing any heavy lifting. My only suggestion would be for the movers to listen to the client a little more. I had a very heavy piano to be taken down about five steps. I advised them to use a ramp, but they didn't take my advice at first, and someone got hurt. Once the ramp was in place, everything went smoothly. They did a great job.

First off I ask for 4 movers only 3 showed up.. took there time.. took them 8 hrs to move a small family of a 3 bedroom town house…cough one guy resting on my bed.. would not recommend this moving company to any one.. oh and by the way building my baby crib they strip all the bolts and it was supper lose.. if I would of put my baby in that crib they rebuilt it would of fell apart… horrible

My move went incredibly smooth! Communication the days prior to and the day of the move were excellent. Movers showed up within the window and were polite, friendly, thorough and efficient. No damage to any items during transit. Final price ended up being below the very reasonable quote I was provided. I would absolutely recommend to a friend/family in the San Diego area.
