"Have had really great experiences in the past here"
"It's a small hardware store in 2022: The novelty value alone is worth 5 stars! They have silly hours (close at 5pm during the week), and it is small, but if you live nearby they likely have what you need"
"I love this neighborhood store, and the staff are kind and helpful"
"Very kind and helpful staff"
"Will continue to be a loyal customer after 2yrs of genuinely helpful service"
Have had really great experiences in the past here. Today I bought and returned some heavy duty garbage bags (because they were perfumed ) and got openly mocked by the woman at the checkout to her co-worker while I was a couple feet away. Not an awesome experience. If you're going to make fun of customers, wait until they're gone.
It's a small hardware store in 2022: The novelty value alone is worth 5 stars! They have silly hours (close at 5pm during the week), and it is small, but if you live nearby they likely have what you need. They seem to be focused on DIY'ers and not contractors, and that's a good thing.
I love this neighborhood store, and the staff are kind and helpful. They have great deals on plants. Some other items might be slightly more expensive than Home Depot and Amazon, but my positive shopping experience makes it worth it. Thank you for being a part of the neighborhood!
Very kind and helpful staff. Called ahead to see if they had something specific and they held it at the register since it was the last one. They also cut a piece of wood in half for me which saved me a headache. Good prices too. Definitely my new go-to hardware store!
Will continue to be a loyal customer after 2yrs of genuinely helpful service. Once I actually needed something that wasn’t mass produced and an employee made it their mission to engineer the parts custom from what they did have. Pretty awesome.
I had an experience that made my day. I went in to the store on Division St with a problem of Connectivity from my sump pump to my wide hose. There were no connectors. The man who helped me was not daunted. He ended up cutting some PCV pipe
This store gets 5 out of 5 stars when it comes to the staff and what a great little neighborhood hardware store it is. The loss of one star is only because they are not open on Sundays. It seems with all the big box stores like home Depot
Should be called “Do it Worst”. I recently moved to the neighborhood and try to shop local- I have visited this store many times and left empty-handed but was willing to keep coming back because I know small stores can’t carry everything.
Well stocked for such a small space, but the workers here make it a truly wonderful neighborhood experience. They are earnest and friendly and will diligently work with you to get you exactly what you need. In the event they do not have
Well the staff don't know how things are done in construction and they certainly aren't in a hurry for anything, but they are friendly and professional. As far as product goes, organization is fine, selection is slightly better than Ace
Should change it's name to mean street hardware- I really like to give local business my money when possible- but every time I go in either the help staff or the front register are really rude bad news. Today the help staff was good and
I've been to a lot of hardware stores and this one has some of the most knowledgeable and helpful staff I've ever come across. I was in there today to get a new handle for a pitchfork and they ground and tapped out the pins from the old
I have been coming here for about 10 years and it's about time I leave a review. These guys and gals have consistently been fantastic in all those years. I'm actually pretty surprised at the consistency. I always have lots of questions
Love this store and the staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately they are unaware that a global pandemic has swept the earth and 2000 people per day are dying in the USA alone. The staff doesn't wear masks which protects customers,
This store is depressing. Way over staffed that could care less about customers, unless it's one of their friends. I waited for over 20 minutes for someone to help me. I kept asking this older woman, who was the cashier for help in the
Moved to the neighborhood in June and have visited this place a dozen of times. There's a specific cashier at the register (Ashleigh) who is the most foul, rude, uninterested customer service staff I've ever seen. She is never able to
You can find lots of items for do-it-yourself repairs. Extension cords, wood, concrete, paint, wood stain, even tools like saws and drills. This place is great. Good selection of relevant materials for me around the house. It's like a
While this is a fine local hardware store, they have inexplicably chosen hours that are willfully inconvenient for many people with jobs. They aren't open on Sundays (a popular home-project day), and close at 5 pm on all other days.
Fun Place to visit. Lots of D I Y inventory and knowledgeable staff to answer questions or give suggestions on how to do a repair task better. Check out the emergency lighting options for total power outages. What ever you need from
Has most things for every day projects and some inventory for construction projects . Limited on lumber selection.. but the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and friendly... Feels like an old school mom and pop hardware store.
Do it Best Hardware on Division failed me, my partner, and every other patron today. Not only are they not enforcing the city wide mandate to wear a face covering and provide 6 ft of space in their store, they also stood by after a
Awesome store! Employees are very helpful. She stayed with me until I got everything I needed. She even wrote the information on the parts bag for me. I observed another employee helping a customer and was very patient and sincere!
It's great to have this Do It Best as a neighborhood resource. This is our go-go stop, whether it's for basics or for specialized stuff for our old house. Friendly staff and little bags of complimentary fresh popped popcorn.
Very much the classic neighborhood hardware store, with friendly and helpful staff and a very large selection of tools and hardware. I've been going here periodically for many years, and I'm always satisfied.
Followed the entire time by the older lady working there even when I left they followed me to my bike & stood next to the plants to make sure I didn't steal the wilted $1 plants??? Smh
I kept trying to come here and ended up wondering why I continue to try to give them my money. I had a cashier harass me for buying spray paint - “I better not see this up all
this place is an efficient use of space, they have tons of stuff in such a small place. Very helpful staff, every time I am in get asked if I need help multiple times.
I love local neighborhood stores. Had help from the actual owner to find some products that I needed. Checkout was courteous and efficient. Thank you Best.
Very helpful staff. Their advice and assistance, far beyond merely suggesting materials, helped me building a wonderful little cigar box guitar!
All the staff seem genuinely interested in helping you! I don't even think it's due to possibly a store policy.
