SUPER PÉSIMO SERVICIO EN EL AEROPUERTO DE GUADALAJARA! Contratamos una camioneta semanas antes del viaje para evitar problemas en la disponibilidad. Llegando a Guadalajara llamamos a las oficinas y nos recogieron en la camioneta que supuestamente nos iban a dar pero nos tenían que llevar a firmar los contratos. Llegando con la persona de mostrador nos ofrece a la fuerza un incremento en la cobertura del seguro, queriendo cobrarnos 5 mil pesos más de lo que ya habíamos pagado, al rehusarnos el encargado del momento nos negó el uso del automóvil y dijo "Entonces ya no está disponible su camioneta, que les vaya bien" DEJÁNDONOS EN LA CALLE A LAS 3 AM A 6 PERSONAS Y 1 EMBARAZADA! Muy inconsciente su trabajador, poco resolutivo y muy grosero. Tardaron más de 2 meses en regresar nos el depósito y por que hubo mucha insistencia....

Basically they are thieves. We had a reservation through rentalcars which was already paid. The driver credit card didn't go through for the deposit. Instead of trying to help us to find a solution (for example changing the driver as someone else had a credit card which would have worked), the guy didn't do anything of "fear of being fired". He wouldn't call his boss because it was his day-off. In the end we couldn't cancel the reservation and lost it. We went ro another company. Also this is not only us. There was a group at the time which also had partially paid their rental. The guy also never accepted their credit card because it was too new (edited in 2018)!!! They also had to go to another company and lost the money they had paid beforehand.

Hicimos una reserva en línea antes de llegar. La mujer en el mostrador afirmó que no se recibió el pedido y que el seguro que compramos no era válido. Ella pensó que ninguno de nosotros hablaba español, así que llamó a su "jefe" para conseguirnos un "descuento" para el auto. Ella procedió a decir tonterías por teléfono y nos dijo que el auto costaría más del doble del precio en línea. Trató de asustarnos para que pagáramos un depósito adicional de 500 USD además del seguro al mencionar que los autos habían sido devueltos con agujeros de bala y llantas robadas. Es una pena que Dollar permita que los criminales operen bajo su nombre.

Terrible experience! They gave us a smaller car than what we had reserved and paid for. They said that there was nothing that they could do for us, they had no mini vans. Then, they tried to frame us when we returned the car. There was a dent on the car and they marked it has a scratch not a dent, so they were telling us that we had had an accident with the car. Good thing we had taken pictures of it. Never use Dollar Rent a Car company in Mexico City!!

DO NOT RENT FROM DOLLAR / THRIFTY! We picked up a car from Mexico City and the front wheel was already badly damaged at pickup. We ended up with a puncture on the highway - this could have been VERY DANGEROUS! Dollar / Thrifty still tried to charge us for the damage to the wheel even though we had photos when we pick up the car. They are very DISHONEST and put money before safety. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Horrible experience. We made a reservation before hand but still had to wait 2 hours for a car that was only similar to the one we had reserved. They charged us based on false currency exchange, telling us one amount and then several hundred dollars more came out of our bank account. Apparently the employees get commission so they lied to us and overcharged us for their own gain.

Terrible service! DO NOT RENT FROM DOLLAR / THRIFTY! Reservation was made to Dollar MEX, but no car available. Instead of apologizing for 3 hour waiting and inconvenience, they were lying about they don’t receive reservation. Another 3 groups had the same problem at the time!

PESIMO SERVICIO, NO REPETAN LA RESERVACIÓN QUE REALIZAMOS, NOS FORZARON A OBTENER UNA CAMIONETA PARA COBRARNOS MUCHO MÁS, DICIENDONOS QUE NO TENIAN COMPACTOS. AL RECOGER LA CAMIONETA SI TENIAN VARIOS COMPACTOS. FUE EN EL AEROPUERTO DE PUERTO ESCONDIDO.

Reserved and paid in advance a Car rental with Expedia and Dollar, when we arrived, Dollar doesn’t have any car available so we had to rent it in another company. Now Expedia and Dollar are refusing to reimburse my money!!!! Beware with these thieves!

Don't waste your money here !!!. The cars are junk. For any reason if you don't have any option, take your time to check the car in detail, specially the seat belts . The one I got was horrible dirty and some seat belts didn't work

La persona que me "atendió" el teléfono es una persona sin educación, que no quiso darme informes y me cortó la llamada. Creo que cualquier empresa se debe a sus clientes por lo que no la recomiendo de ninguna manera.

Rentamos un auto para Toronto el carro tenía mal una llanta, dejaba escapar el aire. Luego el aceite estaba todo quemado. Y nos lo entregaron todo sucio. Lo peor es que esto pudo poner en peligro nuestra vida

Scammers gave us an already damaged car and then charged us for damage that already existed at the end of the rental despite us having photos from when we hired it to prove it. DO NOT USE.

Terrible experience. They ended up charging me 5 times the price of my reservation (literally) with hidden fees and lies about mandatory insurances.

No es esta sucursal sino es todo dollar en si como empresa a nivel nacional, mandan correos no solicitádos , no les des tu información

Todo muy bien, pero eso del seguro es genial ya que con este clima tuve un accidente y no pague mas gracias a que lo compre
