Best Moving Company, I've ever used and believe me I moved quite many times for the last 10 years by myself and with my family. This is my 4th move between Sacramento and San Diego. Now I am back to Sac. Another three moves were local and I did with another companies, my last move was a disaster and surprisingly it was done by the moving company that only have 5 star reviews. For this move, After carefully checking a few companies, I have decided to go with Dominant Moving Company. Their pricing was higher than many others but it turned out that one of colleagues used their services just about a month ago and was happy with service as well. First, A phone conversation with their move consultant Tony was very productive and I was able to have all my questions answered. I ve had a three bedroom condo to move and I needed to do it before New Year. Dominant was able to schedule my move, however 5 days before I get a note from landlord that I can not move in and had to wait another week at least. Tony quickly rescheduled the move without any fees and with no increase in price. As for my move, we moved our of 3 bedroom townhouse but one of bedrooms was almost empty, so we can say I was a 2 bedroom townhouse, moving into a single level house in West Sacramento. Three Movers arrived early in the morning to finish up packing just a few boxes, and immediately started loading boxes into the truck. Then they protected my furniture with their plastic and blankets. Loaded everything for about 4 hours and headed to Sacramento. Next morning at 8.30 am they were already at the door. It was only 2 movers for unloading part, but it was agreed before because unloading takes less time and there was no stairs and I had nothing that 2 movers could not handle it. They set everything up in my house for about 4 hours. So by afternoon of the following day I could already have a dinner with my family at the same table and sitting on the same chairs and couch, but 500 miles away from San Diego. I highly recommend Dominant Moving Company.. Great Value !!

5 Star Service from Dominant Moving Company. They moved us 4 times all together and for the last year alone they did three moves. First move was about 4 years when we moved into a rental home. Second, it was a full service move with packing and unpacking from our rental house in Carmel Valley to a new house we bought in Carlsbad back in April 2022. Third move was helping my sister moving to Temecula her 2 bedroom apartment from Chula Vista. And last one was moving my 80 year old Mom to a Senior Community in Carlsbad just last week. The movers that company sent us for last 3 projects were Javier, Francisco and Alex plus there was another mover on the 1st move. But I don't remember his name. And obviously I don't remember the guys names from 4 years ago. But all of the movers were organized, they came with a big clean truck with giant red logo on it and with all moving equipment. Dozens of blankets, movers worked efficiently and with care. To compare with other movers, I used a different moving company in the past like about 6 years ago and those guys had a perfect 5 Star rating, but unfortunately they came with a small dirty truck, one dolly for 3 guys, worked very slow and did not care about our things. I won't disclose their name, but just be aware when you see only 5 star reviews. That was a disastrous move compare to one I had with Dominant Moving, who I reccomend By the way found Dominant Moving through our tenant manager at Good Life Property Management who helped us getting a rental house 4 years ago. I attached a few pictures I took a few years ago and I just found them in my phone.

Don't use this moving company! Upon arrival it wasn't communicated to the packers that they were packing my apartment. They didn't have enough supplies to pack my apartment, so I had to go purchase boxes. The lead gentleman, Dennis, and I conducted a walk through. Everything that was to be packed was laid out, and the packers were given specific instructions on ALL rooms to include the storage unit located on my balcony. They took 6 hours to pack a 1/1 apartment! While packing my white fabric bedroom furniture it was not wrapped in any sort of protection(common sense), and when they moved the furniture down stairs my headboard was resting on it's side on the street (it's white! ). A final walk through was not completed, and I was quickly urged to sign documents, so the movers could leavek it took 6 hours after all). I moved across the country, and once I got to my final destination, I discovered that the packers didn't pack HALF of my storage unit. (how was only half packed?) When I tried reaching the company to file a claim, I kept getting the run around. After about 2 weeks of attempting to contact management, I finally received a response. I was told that since the paperwork was signed, the company was not responsible for the packer's negligence. I was offered $50 to ship half of my storage closet, which is going to take about $500 to ship. I never received this so called check, and I plan to file a civil suit on this company. No costumer should be treated this unfairly/unprofessionally

This sorry company has taken my money and walked away. I had hired Dominant Moving Company to move my 700 sqft. studio to a storage unit. I had pre-boxed and wrapped my belongings before hand. The movers knowingly moved my heavy two piece tool box and only used one 1" strap to "secure" it. The toolbox fell over and damaged itself and my smoker grill. After having to pull teeth on the phone for Roman to email me acknowledging the incident by his movers, I paid up. Roman has declined to respond to my multiple emails and gave no sense of care when I called asking to resolve this issue quickly as I was moving out of state. The "4 days" to reply as stated by Roman has far passed and still I have heard nothing. Also for the movers themselves, apparently no one has told them fastest way from point A to B is a straight line as I watched multiple times the slow movement of my furniture get taken for a stroll on the dolly halfway around the parking garage as if my ottoman needed a walk. Secondly paying for a timed service should not include your movers stopping for a drink between locations.

We were quoted for 4 worker, but only 3 showed up. The initial estimate was 4-5 hours (for a 1600 sqt condo), but we ended up paying ~$1300. The movers were hard working; I guess 3 of them are just not as efficient as 4 of them so they can paired up. When moving furniture, one of them would have to wait around. Nevertheless, no complaints on the movers. As they moved the piano, a tile was broken by the cart they used, and what happened next was why I wouldn’t recommend Dominant Moving to anyone. On the initial quote, I confirmed with them about the piano and the insurance coverage. As you paid them and signed on their Ipad, INSURANCE WAS WAIVED; and you AGREED that there’s no liability if you ask them to move anything over 100 pounds. We asked for $100 discount because of the accident, and long hours, as we have to dealt with the landlord about the broken tile. Never knew they’d get away from the responsibility of the damaged floor. IT IS WRONG, Roman.

I've hired Dominant Moving company for 3 times, and it's always been a pleasure experience. I'm surprised to see the 1 star reviews b/c that's completely different experience from what I had with DMC. I'm moving across town with 2b2b worth of furniture, and the whole process took ~3 hours with 2 movers that's very efficient and careful, and kind. - Communication was smooth, I was able to change the scheduled moving time without problem. There's a client portal you can easily track your appointments with them - Furnitures were well taken care of. We had a fine wardrobe, couch, a big TV and other stuffs, all were packed up with plastic wraps/blankets. After they were moved to the new place, there was only few scratches which is acceptable given the heaviness and elevation the movers had to deal with. - The moving was fast, loading & unloading, packing, all was fast - they *ain't* trying to get more money by slowing down the process.

Great service. I would recommend them to anyone. Use at least 3 movers for a quick move. Professional. ***Update*** So, I finished most of my unpacking (the above review was done prior, before the movers left) and found a few upsetting things. However the one that is my main complaint is the way my mattress was dirtied. I provided full mattress covers for the mattresses that were to be moved. However, my king mattress wasn't covered in the wrap, but was shrinked wrapped with their supplies. When I finally got around to removing the wrap, I see just about the entire side of my mattress is covered in black dirt as if it had been dragged. I contacted the customer service number and was told, "okay, you need to submit your complaint via email." I did that, and now a week later, I've not heard anything back. I'm hoping the company will do something to rectify the situation.

I researched and reached out to over ten companies here in San Diego. I priced everyone out, and even made an excel sheet with all the pros and cons for each. I confirmed these guys just off of facts on paper. But now I can say that I highly recommend them for much more then that, they blow their competition out of the water on paper and much more. These men have great communication from prepping for the move to onsite communication as well. They are a tight knit Russian group of men that doesn't miss any detail. We had a move we thought might last four hours and without hesitation they stayed for over nine hours making sure everything was handled and that everything was put in its place and that we were more then happy. They went above and beyond, nothing was broken, and they helped box everything up as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Extremely professional!! Happy moving!

Dominant Moving is great! This is our 7th time using pro moving company and this time using Dominant Moving was worth it. Our movers, Marc and Alex are the best. They we going non stop. They're extremely professional, friendly, punctual, and efficient. They showed up to our appointment 5 minutes early and worked nonstop until all of our things were moved into the our new place. I highly recommend Dominant Moving company to anyone thinking about saving the hassle of moving their own things. Don't hesitate to use this company. I Used movers about 7 times in my life and this is by far is the best experience. They'll wrap all of your large items, pack things you didn't do yourself, and take extreme care of anything fragile. I hired Dominant Moving Company for a small local move of 1 bedroom place from Mira Mesa, San Diego to North Park. Movers did a great job moving all my items in just under 4 hours. The price I paid was very reasonable and did not exceed the amount  I expected to pay. They protected all the furniture and wrapped mattress with plastic bag, disassembled a queen size bed and put it back together at the new place. Also they provided Wardrobe Boxes for FREE. Scheduling an appointment was very easy, I provided the list of items through their website. Then spent no more than five minutes on the phone, got all the answers and booked the job. At the end of the move I signed the bill on their tablet. Good Experience, definitely reccomend and will use again.

Roman answered my call for an urgent moving job that I had end of the month. My roommate and I were moving and we were double booked by another moving company and stuck in a bind. The time was already 1 pm and everywhere else I called was booked. He said he would call me back as his drivers were at a job and not sure how long they would be. He called me back 10 mins later letting me know they can be to us by 4 at an awesome rate! Not only did they show up an hour early, they were also very efficient and conscious of both our possessions and our health with it still being a pandemic and all. Arsenio was extremely professional and made sure the job was done right and to completion. Recommend these guys over all if you need a move job.

After checking a few moving companies in San Diego county we decided to hire Dominant Moving be cause of stellar 5 star reviews and recommendation of our real estate agent and and we received a great service. We hired Dominant Moving Service to move from Rancho Santa Fe to little Italy San Diego. They happened to have a availability on busy for them end of May. They send us a team of 4 professional movers. They came with big moving truck that was enough for everything that needed to be moved. The started early on Saturday at 9am and finished late afternoon. They protected all of our furniture before loading it into their truck and took a great care of everything. I Highly recommend them.

Dominant moving was there for me when I needed to move a lot of heavy furniture. Washer dryer, two refrigerators, heavy office furniture two bedroom sets, a big TV, etc....from Oceanside to San Clemente. I had the trio of Arsenio, Steffon and Javier. They were the best! The guys were on time, assessed the area and went at it. They were really fast, but took the time to wrap everything in furniture blankets. Some of my furniture already had damage to it, and guys were great at showing me the prior damage before they moved it. I have zero damage from the crew....which is a near impossible accomplishment. These guys are really a class act....Highly recommended!

We hired Dominant Moving Company for our move from our 2 bedroom apartment in San Diego to another 2 bedroom in Mission Valley and we were extremely happy we picked them. At first, we did not know what to expect as they were charging the least out of all the moving companies we looked into, but they really exceeded our expectations. The movers were extremely efficient and quick when wrapping up our furniture with bubble wrap and carefully setting everything in the truck. Chris and Hobby did an amazing job and did not spare a single minute when helping us out. I would high recommend them to anyone looking to hire movers in San Diego!

I was the second stop of the day and had 2.5 PODS that needed to be emptied. The family started on the PODs but waited for Stefan and Javier for the heavy stuff. They came and immediately started working hard even though they already put in a full day. They were polite, communicative and friendly and provide a great service. They were true professionals. Could move the heaviest furniture in the tightest areas. Having moved over a dozen times this was one of the best experiences I have had from my mediate communication with Roman, quick turn around to quality service overall they were great and highly recommend them.

I used Dominant Moving Company to move from San Diego to Los Angeles. My movers were Alex and Vadim. They were absolutely fantastic! They were on time, and so efficient! They even helped get my couch over a neighbor's balcony because we couldn't fit it in through the front door. Also, I had to reschedule on them a few times and Roman, the owner of the company, was so understanding and helpful with my rescheduling. I will use them again In the future and would happily recommend them to any of my friends or family! Thank you so much guys! You made my move as easy as it could be!

Not only was one of the movers over an hour late, they took their sweet time and ended up charging me over $600 to move a one-bedroom apartment from Normal Heights to North Park. When I called to complain, Roman the customer support person said he would mail me a check to partially reimburse the tardiness of the one mover and I never received a check. I've tried calling and no one answers their customer support line. DONT USE THEM! There are plenty of reliable movers in SD, unfortunately I booked mine too late and these people were the only moves available, I now see why...

Our family needed moving from San Diego to Los Angeles. And we hired Dominant Moving Company because a family member used them in the past for a office move. The size of our move was a 3 bedroom house, and we did not need any pakers, we packed all our boxes. Our movers were Eddie, James and Alex. They came early around 8 am filled the whole truck for about 5 hours and headed over to LA. We did not hit much traffic, because it was a weekend. And by 8pm. The already unloaded in Los Angeles. Very good service. Will hire them again in future if I m moving back to San Diego.

First time using movers so my husband and I were a little scared. Did a bunch of research and decided to go with Dominant. Honestly BEST decision, these guys were fast, professional and polite. Did the whole move in about 2 hours which is very impressive considering that we have a set of HEAVY recliners, 2 TVs both over 65", heavy boxes Ect and we moved to an apt in the 5th floor. If you are looking for movers and can't decide hands down one of the best customer service experience. Thank you guys! If we move again we will be calling you.

BEWARE - BAIT & SWITCH. I hired Dominant Moving Company to move me across town (2 Miles). I hired them 2 months in advance. They contracted out my move to Finch Moving (also beware) and I was never informed. I was then strong armed into paying $1800 when I was quoted $500. The move took 13+ hours and myself and my brother had to do most of the heavy lifting ourselves because the movers were incompetent. I have suffered over $10,000 in damaged HHG and Dominant Moving is refusing to help or accept any responsibility. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

I used Dominant Moving a few months ago to move 2 bedroom apt. The moving coordinator Roman that gave me a quote was super helpful and very knowledgable. He described everything... how the moving is done, how all the prices are calculated and gave me few tips on packaging! Very helpful! He also gave me a 5 % student discount. Which was awesome! The move itself was very good, movers knew what they were doing and they were fast and careful with my furniture. I am glad I chose them and I will definitely recommend them to my friends.

Just recently we have completed a local move in Chula Vista with Dominant Moving Company. The move was just around the corner. We were happy with service provided by the moving crew of Vlad, Jeremy and David and customer service by the rest of the company. Movers were very efficient on the job and did not waste any time. Total price was about what we expected. Very good experience, we recommend Dominant Moving to everyone, who is looking for reliable movers and delivery with no damages and hidden fees.

The three movers they sent worked very hard and never stopped. They loaded everything in my house that filled their truck to the brim very carefully. Unloaded the truck into a storage unit in an hour. Read my notes about leaving a file cabinet at the front of the unit so I had access to it while in storage and did so. Very impressed. Just did a move with this company and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. They disassembled several pieces of furniture and lost the parts,broke a mirror, damaged several lamp shades. They had to be prompted to reassemble my bed and they best part was they showed up without tools, which meant I had to go in my stuff that I already packed to get tools to lend them,which weren't power tools so my move took an extra hour because of this, which ended up costing more.

I wish I got their names but the two gentlemen who helped us out today were professional, quick (got the job done in just two hours), and thoughtful. There was no damage to any of our belongings because everything was carefully wrapped and moved. The wardrobe boxes were also a nice touch. For context, we were moving from a one-bedroom apartment to a house (a 15-minute drive). Thank you for making our move the least stressful move we’ve had to date!

Just completed a 3br / 2ba move with Dominant moving company. The team they sent out; David, Javier, and Fabian were fantastic!! They worked hard and with little supervision to complete our move in just under 5 hours. They were also very very courteous and professional and even came up with a creative way to move our 12' round trampoline without having to fully disassemble it saving me a ton of time. Highly recommend!

Bad experience all the way around. Would not hire these guys. No customer service, very slow employees and smelled like weed- probably why slow. Caused damage by dragging my expense furnishings on the street. No compensation from manager/ owner- actually rude and charged my card without permission. Sad move. Estimated time was 4 or 5 hours, took them 8 hours. Charged for 8 plus double time on freeway. Beware folks.

I hired Dominant Moving Company to move a 3 bedroom from Chula Vista to Downtown of Los Angeles. I needed moving to Santa Monica on a super short notice. Overall I had a Very satisfactory experience from the booking on the phone with Tony until finishing the job. I would definitely reccomend these guys if you are switching between SD and LA. Our original mover had to cancel on moving day and left us stranded. Luckily Dominant Moving Company saved the day! Arsenio and Manny arrived on time and was able to complete the move (including stopping at another location to pick up more items) in about 3 hours! Great moving company, I definitely recommend. I called these guys not even 24 hours before I needed to move and they were able to get the job done. Great rates, better than anyone else I could find. They did a great job, all around. Communication was good. They did excellent securing all our items and packing/unpacking for us. We were moving from San Diego up to San Marcos, coming from an apartment that had lots of stairs, halls, and doors which made somewhat of a challenge. but these guys powered through it all and were very caring and hardworking guys.

Best movers ever. They are totally best in that sphere. They did good job for $99 for two hours. Hard working. They moved me from third floor to third in other building. I would 100% use these guys again. They just finished my local move from Mission Gorge to downtown San Diego. Loaded, transported, and unloaded in 2.5 hours. Nothing broken, no snags. Awesome communication. Very professional and experienced. In a nutshell: fast, professional, reasonably priced. If you are able, please tip your movers. It’s not an easy job.

I was looking for reliable office movers in San Diego and I hired Dominant Moving Company for moving my business. The move involved moving office furniture, desks file cabinets and some of our inventory in warehouse. Dominant did a quick onsite estimate and provided with reasonable quote. The moving team was very efficient and did the move in one day.

Dominant Moving did an outstanding job moving our household from San Diego to Northern California overnight. The whole process was very simple and seamless from estimate to finish. These guys took great care of my electronics and office supplies (my most precious items) and made the move so stress-free for me. They used really effective wrapping and protection to ensure no damages. Quickly unpacked everything exactly where I needed them to. Really nice guys and hard workers. Highly recommended.

We were able to book everything on line. The website was very easy to use. As soon as I completed my inventory list they called me to set up my move. The guys were amazing and very friendly. We had more stuff then I thought for them to move and they just smiled and took care of everything.

Dominant moving company helped me move my stuff from three different hard to reach apartments in San Diego. (Upstairs, downstairs and through an alley) They were quick, efficient and respected my belongings. I was very happy with the experience.
