Went here almost a year ago, he didn’t even clean my teeth at all!!!!!!, I had a cracked tooth and he was filling it, this man does not know what he’s doing not even a month after getting my filling it came completely out how does that even work, because I was in so much pain I couldn’t even eat on that side and I still can’t till this day, I’ve honestly been waiting to review this place for a while but I’ve been busy, but I can’t take it anymore he ruined my tooth, I’m always in pain and now I trust no dentist, please don’t go here!!!!please!!!! ( It’s November 7, 2023) I am now editing my review that I wrote a while ago because I recently had the courage, to go to very professional dentist office that had phenomenal reviews and they were really honest with me and said that if the last dentist I went to (J spears) would have done what he was trying to do the correct way. I would’ve had no problems, but the doctor (j spears) didn’t know what he was doing and messed my tooth up worse and now I have to get a root canal because of him. I went to this new Dentist office yesterday and the experience that I had was 1 million times better than what (j spears) gave me. He was honestly horrible. And very unprofessional please please please do not go to this man!!! I wish I could give him no stars, he made me terrified of dentist for so long and that’s not okay.

Going to the Dentist is never fun, let's face it. However, Natalie and the Young Dr. Spears are simply wonderful! They are extremely professional, knowledgeable, super down to earth, very easy to talk with all while being pure fools :)! The comedic relief of those two offsets the fact that someone is drilling in my mouth! LOL. In fact it would be an injustice not to mention the fact that the entire staff are courteous, professional and personable. I would recommend your office to any needing a new dental home! I will say the Dr is nice. Staff was nice until I called in about still being in pain after being sent home with nothing for pain after a surgical extraction. They told me to come back in and that I probably had dry socket. I have never in my life had a tooth extracted and not been given pain relief. I was told to take Motrin. I was in so much pain after the extraction and the next day. I wasn't even sent home with so much as Motrin. Motrin was not working anyway. I had to leave work and go to urgent care to get adequate pain relief. Ridiculous. I won't be back

Dr. Robert Spears Jr. is the BEST Dentist in New Orleans East. I would HIGHLY recommend him to every one. People would think I'm crazy being excited too go to a Dentist. I'm not, That's because he make me feel comfortable. He's friendly, and very Professional. He will get a tooth out so fast.( Without hurting you) I never had a problem once the tooth is out. The Staff is very friendly and answers your questions prompt. What I LOVE the most is, it's Black Owned.

From the call I made to the office about my insurance to my walk-in appointment there is nothing I would change about this experience. The receptionist, the hygienist and the Dr. himself all had pleasant attitudes and were on their job. My cleaning went so smoothly and my teeth look amazing! I highly recommend this office for all dental services in Nola. Dr. Rob is the best!

..never go here he cracked my teeth .made me get a root canal on a tooth that I wanted pulled because the me pulling it was the cheap way they said !! He left me in so much pain didn’t wanna fix it at all !! An then came ask me an I take down my comment on Google but truth be told he’s nice but don’t know what his doing i feel he couldn’t be able to work on ppl

They took me as a walk in when I couldn't find anywhere else to go. I walked in and was in the back within 10 minutes due to an infected tooth that was killing me. I had never been there before but I know where me and my kids are going from now on. They were nice and patient cuz baby I was scared of that needle. I give them 10 stars. They also take medicaid.

I went in today because my teeth cap came out I was in Soo much pain I’ve been going here for at least 3 years now and they turned me away because they say they no longer accept Medicaid and it would have been 100 something dollars to get treatment it’s unfair to those who’s not able I love the place and staff , Medicaid should be an option.

Dr. Spears is an amazing dentist! Best experience I have ever had at a dentist office. From the friendly front desk staff to the calm and caring dental hygienist, the whole office was great! I highly recommended Dr. Spears and I’ll only be visiting him and his office from now on! The best dentist in New Orleans hands down!!

I always heard that root canals were painful, I got my first one done today by Dr. Spears & it wasn’t anything like what I expected, completely painless & quick from numbing to the end of the procedure! The office is also very clean & a friendly environment so that’s a plus. I can’t wait to get my second one!

I called on Friday and spoke with a dental assistant. On Friday I was told to come on Monday between 2 and 3:30. I'm in extreme pain and a doctor offered to take me this morning but I waited for my local dentist instead of going to Metairie. I'm extremely hurt and disappointed.

My first time there over a month ago and a great experience. The staff was friendly and professional. Dr. Spears has great bedside manners with his patients with a pleasant personality. Will make an appointment for my son soon.

First Impressions are everything and with that being said, Dr.Spears is such a genuine person. My first experience went so well because of great customer service and a wonderful atmosphere!

Dr.Spears really helped me. He sorted out all of my dental problems and gave me my smile back. He and his staff were very professional. I would definitely recommend him to everyone.
