I never leave bad reviews but my experience here needs to be shared so owners know how to care best for their pets. I called Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital in hopes for some insight and trusted reassurance regarding my dog’s inguinal hernia that she was born with. My original vet was away on vacation so i had to outsource another vet who had experience in this type of hernia. On the phone, I was assured that the vets here specialized in these hernias. I took my dog in, they examined her for 10 minutes and then told me to see a specialist instead to fix the problem. The vet was very kind but told me that if this was her dog, she would see the specialist that they recommend as they feel that the surgeon at Dundas Euclid wouldn’t be able to take care of it as safely (despite telling me beforehand on the phone that they perform these repairs regularly). Additionally, they told me that the hernia must be repaired and that there’s no possible way it will go away on it’s own. I left feeling very disappointed as all they did was refer me to someone else and still charge me over $130 for the consultation. I tried to stay positive and thought “well at least I got a good referral out of this”-The referral took several days to receive and provided me with an estimate of $7000.00, an estimate that is unheard of for this type of hernia repair. I have spoken with several vets since this day and they’ve never heard of this price in their life. Nor can I find an estimate like this on google. I was devastated and terrified that I wouldn’t be able to come up with the money in time. Fast forward 1 month later and I take my dog to a vet outside of the city (strongly recommend doing this in order to access fair pricing) who also specializes in hernias. We get there, the vet thoroughly examines my dog and tells me that the hernia has completely repaired itself. He says that young puppies’ hernias repair themselves all the time if they’re under the age of 1. The vet at Dundas Euclid told me this was impossible. I am extremely disheartened by my entire experience at this place. They were pushing me to put my dog into an extremely invasive and dangerous surgery in a profit-driven manner all while her hernia repaired itself a month later. This would’ve been an incredibly risky surgery for my 4.2lb dog. If you’re reading this before your visit here, save yourself the anxiety and money of receiving misinformation about your pet.
The good, the bad, the ugly… The good: If you are looking for a vet to do the standard normal things (vaccines), this is your place. The staff was able to help making appointments, and administering the vaccines, and a few members knew a lot of the ends and outs. The bad: they never told us the full amounts we would need to pay. When we called and said we needed to have our dog get their annual vaccine, and it was their first time seeing the vet, they only mentioned a $125 fee, when checking out it shot up to $300-$400. The ugly: it seemed every time i would begin the checkout process, i had to be rang up twice and be refunded. After the first mishap with this, the next time, i stood around a little longer and waiting to be called on to pay. Low and behold, once i paid, there was a problem, such as something not being added to my invoice. Its like no one was talking to each other. Lastly, although the team collectively knew a lot, i had to multiple times verify information. I was also leaving the country, and asked about how they would send me the results of tests completed, i asked about which courier service would be used, so i could track the package, i was told they used Purolator, and could possibly get tracking. In the long run, the results were sent via canada post, and no tracking was available. I would have gladly gotten a prepaid envelope, to have the results shipped more securely.
I was somewhat happy with this Vet clinic when Natasha was caring for my cat. The other Vets seem to want to basically sell you on your pet's health. I wouldn't be so put off by this but I called for an EMERGENCY AND THEY TURNED ME AWAY. They told me to call their sister vet clinic, which is basically in Pickering. I called them 3 times and left a voicemail and I never received a reply. So they really are only selling you on your pet's health and they don't really care when it matters. I ended up finding an amazing vet clinic who put my cat in hours later with another "shorter" appt. I would never recommend you take your pet here. I also realized when at the other clinic that they had my cat on incorrect food and there are better options for her health and they just never reassessed her health to say that she needed a extremely low protein diet for her kidneys. My cat passed away and I am certain it as to do with her food. I will never forgive that they didn't see my cat after years of me taking her there. *If you read the Vet clinic reply, please note that i didn't call on a Saturday. Though an excuse is always appreciated. Also this should be a red flag on how they can not provide care for your pet in an emergency
We have been bringing our dog to Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital for years and they seriously are the BEST vet I have ever experienced having. I can not express enough my gratitude for how exceptionally wonderful and amazing ALL of the staff are. They treat my dog like he’s their own. Immediately I feel at ease because they really do go above and beyond to give the best care to your fur baby. When I had to bring in my dog for teeth cleaning and he was put under anaesthesia for the procedure, they knew how worried I was and they gave me an update as soon as he was done. They also went above and beyond and sent me a text with a picture of my pup and a quick update on how he was doing before I could pick him up. All the staff there are so patient and kind. They took the time to answer all my questions every time I called (which was a lot!). I can’t imagine bringing my pup anywhere else and I am forever grateful for the stellar service I receive each and every time I’m there.
We found Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital at the recommendation of a friend when we got first cat almost a decade ago, and they've been our go-to for vet services ever since. The staff is compassionate, professional, and knowledgable, and their care for animals is so evident. We'll be forever grateful for how they handled an emergency surgery for our new kitten Layla, when they discovered a mass on her kidney. They were so supportive and communicative, and really helped us get through what was a truly terrifying experience. I'm happy to report that the surgery went brilliantly, Layla is now a very happy, thriving 6 year old cat, and we're confident that the team at Dundas Euclid saved her life. She's the only cat I've ever seen enjoy going to the vet...so I think she knows how much they looked out for her. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a new vet, and as long as we're living in Toronto, there's nowhere else we'd consider taking our pets.
This is the only Clinic I’ve trusted with my pups since 2009. With my last dog, diagnosed with liver disease, they caught it incredibly early. They went above and beyond to talk to me on the phone when I had questions and did extra research when I had crazy questions (like liver transplants LOL). I now take my two dogs I have now there and they continually go above and beyond to accommodate and make things work. They refer to specialists for some things that they think could be most well done by other clinics which I really appreciate. They always give me all of the options and never pressure me into choices. I couldn’t ask for a better team to depend on and fully trust for my pups; the vet techs and vets and reception of course! I even moved about 20 minutes (drive) away and I still will always continue to have them as our vets, even if we move to another city! We were lucky to find them ❤️
We have been bringing our pets to Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital for the last 6 years and have seen it grow and develop into a very organized and efficient organization. The Vetrenarians are all very caring and very committed to your animals health and happiness and I have worked with all three Vet's on various issues that both my elderly cat and dog have experienced over the years. On important decisions the doctors are there in a compassionate way and they try to understand that not every pocket book can handle every prevention all at once and will help you make the pets life most comfortable with breaking down all the steps and being aware of the pros and cons. I like being informed and in the know. Some of the front desk staff are so lovely and care deeply for our animals - all animals that walk through the door and really on top of things. I feel confident in Dundas Euclid.
The staff at Dundas Euclid Animal are exceptional. They really care about my dog and treat pets like the members of the family they are. I've been going there ever since they saved my dog's life after she had serious infection almost 10 years ago. An emergency vet clinic had wanted to perform exploratory surgery on my dog but, in desperation to avoid this, I was recommended to Dr. Barrientos at Dundas Euclid. He had my pet promptly transferred to his clinic and spent 7 days working to save her life. In the end, we avoided surgery, and my dog healed and is still going strong at 14.5 years of age. I love this clinic -- not only for their wonderful expertise and bed-side manner, but also because they are exceptionally caring people who concentrate on "quality of life" over all else. I can't recommend them enough.
We have been taking our pets to Dundas Euclid for years. When our 17 year old Bichon fell very ill at the end of her life, the team at Dundas Euclid treated her with such kindness and care, not to mention the moral support they offered both me and my husband after we had to put her down. They are compassionate and really care about their patients. I can't walk by the office without my remaining dog nearly ripping my arm off trying to get to the door- he loves going in and obviously has a very positive association with his visits (the abundance of treats might contribute to his enthusiasm!). We are always able to get quick care for our pets and the follow up is fantastic. I always feel comfortable when I leave in knowing that my pets have received absolutely thorough care. Highly recommend!
Highly recommended Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital; Transparency, Honesty, Good customer Service, Friendly Staffs is what makes Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital stands out. I was a first time pet owner; I walked into Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital to inquire about service, Melanie took the time and patience to explain everything to me, and also made some recommendations to me for the puppy food. I felt welcome by this place and I brought my puppy (Hudson) here to do all the vaccinations and grooming. I am happy with the visits; to the great friendly staff; the front reception Jane, the groomer Sharon, Melanie, Dr. Asotra. Thank you all. I will keep coming back to Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital and will recommend families and friends to this wonderful place. Keep it up. GRACIAS
I'll keep it short: I trust them with my cat. When he had surgery, they were quick to answer my questions and discuss my anxieties; they followed-up, and showed that they were here to help when I was worried. I can't speak to whether it's cheaper or more expensive than other vets and I can't really make a point of comparison between other vets. But I will say that I've never worried about my cat while he's been in their care. And that's big for me. Only thing that could dock them a star is that I really wish they'd let you go in with your pet during scheduled check-ups. I know and appreciate the caution they've taken during COVID but I hate leaving him alone in there. But I assume that's temporary, so I'll edit this back up to a 5.
As a new pet owner I discovered this place through google and decided to check it out based on the good reviews. I have had 3 appointments thus far for my pet's shots and the whole clinic has been very wonderful and friendly. The ladies at the front desk have always been able to answer my questions and didn't seem bothered by me asking for clarity. They also gave us a welcome loot bag on our first visit which my puppy loved! Due to covid, I was not allowed in for the actual visits with the doctor, but she called me and gave me a great summary of everything and allowed me to ask plenty of questions without rushing me. I will continue to bring my new family member here and would totally recommend to others.
My husband did one right thing for once by choosing Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital to be the vet of our beloved 15 year old Mylo many years ago. He has had different vets there all these years but lately Dr Asotra and Dr. Roman did an amazing job making sure he is doing well in his seniority. Their administration team is also so easy to talk to, quick to follow up and prescription refills are a breeze. The vets and staff have spent a great deal of time talking to me by email and on the phone and I have never been charged extra for that which shows me they truly care. Long overdue review and thank you for all you do for Mylo and us : )
I was really worried about taking my dog to the vet with covid restrictions, because I knew I wouldn't be allowed to go in to the exam room with her and she is so scared when at the vet. The staff were so kind and understanding and really made me feel reassured that they would take good care of her. Dr. Asotra called me after the exam was complete and was really thorough in describing how it went, so I did not feel that I had really missed anything by not being there. She told me that they could see my dog was really nervous so took the exam nice and slow, which I really appreciated. They made a stressful experience so much better.
My cat has been a patient at DE for years and we recently adopted a dog who is being treated there as well. All of the staff are so supportive and responsive to questions and problems, I know the care both my fur babies recieve is the best out there. I really appreciate that they respond to emails and don't feel as though the over-prescribe or give me the run around on any issues. They were also great when I was saving up to do dental work for my senior kitty, they let me put down a deposit in advance and pay the rest on the date of proceedure (it wasn't an urgent issue) which made it much more financially manageable for me!
The entire team at Dundas Euclid Animal hospital have been consistently excellent! They are kind, detailed and respond right away when anything comes up for our pup. (Even on the weekends, even when they are busy!) They also have wonderful groomers that are just as excellent. Our golden doodle comes out happy every time! I also want to add that the groomer is so positive and kind and the whole process is STRESS FREE. She was away at one point and we had to use another groomer. We went to a “fancy” groomer on avenue road and they were horrible. Our dog was stressed, the environment was awful and they charged triple the price!
I was recommended by a friend to this clinic when I purchased my puppy a few months ago. I can now see why she vouched for Dundas Euclid. The vets and staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely care for animals. They always take the time to explain the status of my dog’s health in a comprehensive manner and are easy to reach by email if you have any questions. They also follow up to see how your pet is doing after administering treatment and encourage any further inquiries at no cost. Pricing is reasonable and most importantly I feel that my little floof’s health is well managed in their care.
I am extremely happy with the doctors in this clinic. My dog has been through a very difficult situation in the past few months, and Dr. Roman took great care of her. She was very professional and helped along with my dog's recovery and gave the best treatment possible. She also took the time to explain to me everything I needed to do in an easy-to-understand way and gave a very personalized treatment for my dog and, which helped alleviate my worries and concerns. Also, Jen at the front desk is very nice and easy to talk to and always has the best positive attitude to help and solve any issues.
I have been going to Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital for the past six years. They have always been responsive to my requests for my dog, Willie. He is usually seen by Dr. Asotra. I have confidence her abilities as a veterinarian and she has been knowlegeable, kind and compassionate. In addition to the veterinary services, I have Willie groomed there. The groomer, Sharon, does an exceptional job of grooming. All the other people who work there have been kind and have treated Willie and me with respect and dignity. I would not hesitate to recommend Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital to pet owners.
Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital has been great. The staff are kind, caring and thorough - very professional. We have had our two senior cats afflicted with thyroid and kidney problems cared for by this clinic. They were also mindful of our budget constraints and gave us realistic and constructive options of humane care for our beloved pets. They both lived close to twenty years of age, a very respectable age for cats, and shared many happy memories. We now have two kittens and have been well cared for by the clinic with routine vaccinations and spaying. I highly recommend them.
The staff are friendly, very efficient and know what they're doing. I know my 13-yr old Maltese is in safe hands with Dr. Asotra. She provides me with plenty of feedback after his annual visits... she patiently answers all my questions and concerns. Sometimes when I don't get it, she'll re-phrase her answers until I understand. I like that she is able to suggest different choices I can make in maintaining Alfie's health and then outlines the possible outcomes of each. I trust her judgment because I feel that she is a very knowledgeable and caring doctor for my little friend.
Went to this clinic and asked what the basic medical needs of my first kitten were and an estimate. They named about three or four things that cats need and the price with tax was around $200. So I brought her in and it came to a little over $200. Upon paying, they said I needed to come back after a certain number of weeks. I assumed it was to complete the procedures that I had paid for. So I came back and when leaving, they told me I had to pay another $300, and that I had to come again. I paid what they conned me out of and never went back. Very dishonest customer service.
We found this vet by chance after looking for places to take our dachshund puppy for his third set of vaccines. Everyone at this centre was responsive, reasonable and approached our nervous pup with kindness and the utmost of patience. Never did we feel like we were getting exploited monetarily, and all the staff took time to explain procedures and treat our dog as if he was their family. Since then, we have moved to the west coast and struggled to find a veterinary practise of this calibre. Thank you, amazing staff of Dundas Euclid AH, for the brief time we had with you!
Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital is an amazing place to bring your pets. I called two weeks ago with questions on what to do about my cat who was showing signs of distress, they said to come in immediately And we will see him right away, which they did and it saved his life. Had they not taken the time out of their already jam packed appointments, my cat would have most likely not be here right now. I would highly recommend anyone who has an animal in that area, to use this place as their home vet. They are kind, thoughtful and really show they care about each animal.
My cat has been cared for by the Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital longer than he's belonged to me. Even though it's out of my neighbourhood, I've continued to take him there. The vets, techs and administrators are always a joy to interact with. They are professional, clear and direct, and most importantly they are so affectionate and caring with my cat. I always leave feeling like they've cared for both us, because I get to leave with peace of mind and confidence that he is getting the best medical attention and I am getting the best advice on how to care for my pet.
Been taking Chelsea here since her first shots back in 2009 and appreciate how friendly, caring, compassionate and professional the staff are. Chelsea always stresses out when going to the clinic and they always try their best to put her at ease. Due to COVID, I knew I wasn’t going to be able to go into the exam room with her and that worried me a little bit. But after her exam, Dr. Asotra called to discuss how things went and any concerns I might have. When at the clinic, I know that Chelsea is always in good hands and will receive the best care.
I came to Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital when they first opened over 20 years ago and they have given exceptional care to all my cats. They have been with me when I've had to make the heartbreaking decision to "let them go" and guided me through treatments to keep them well - never up-selling or pushing procedures that might not actually benefit my cats. All the staff are warm, friendly and care deeply for the animals in their care - and for their owners too. I trust them explicitly. From Annie, Cassidy, D'Arcy (all RIP) and Gus, we love you.
All of the staff at Dundas Euclid care so deeply about the well-being of every pet that walks through their doors. I can't imagine taking my handful of a dog anywhere else. She is extremely fearful at the vet and becomes aggressive. They always handle her with such care taking the best precautions to make her visit as stress free as possible on both her and the staff. Knowing she is being cared by from them relieves so much stress I have since she is in such good hands! Akira says thank you to everyone, although she doesn't always show it!
Huge THANK YOU to Dundas Euclid Team, specially Dr. Rochford. Our puppy was sick for more than 1 week and after going to 2 other clinics, multiple tests with no answer/result we were advised to try this clinic. The staff was very friendly, listens to our concerns and kept us informed all the time. After bringing our dog back home he start eating right away and now, after 1 week, he is perfectly fine. Thank you very much for helping our puppy. We will definitely return in the future and we will recommend this clinic to anyone who needs it.
My family and I switched clinics for our dog a few years ago and we could not be happier. The staff at Dundas Euclid are warm, knowledgeable and patient. We have not once had a negative experience in our time here. They work /with/ us to provide care for our dog in a way is manageable to our lifestyle and budget. Whenever we have questions or concerns, we are listened to, and answers are given thoughtfully and thoroughly. All in all, I highly recommend Dundas Euclid to new and seasoned pet owners alike. You won’t be disappointed!!
The team here have been my 'family' vet through my first two cats and a dog, and now two kittens. I’ve been lucky to be going to them for over 20 years! They are so friendly, compassionate, kind and professional. Dr Asotra and the whole team always treat both me and my furry friends like members of their family, they take such good care and even though it's been a particularly busy few years for them, they never make me feel rushed or hurried when I have questions about their treatments. Awesome people, awesome with my pets!
I've taken my 5 year old Wheaten Terrier here since she got her first shots as an 8-week old puppy! She is always eager to enter the facility because she loves the staff. They treat her well and really look after her. Both the Vets and Assistants are professional, friendly, and caring. I usually take notice of the cards that people send them to thank them for taking such good care of their pets. It's a community Animal Hospital and even though we've moved neighbourhoods, we travel back to visit this team!
I have been coming to Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital for a few years now. I will not go to any other vet. The staff are so amazing and so sweet. I can leave my pet knowing she's in the greatest hands and getting the best care. The Doctors are friendly knowledgeable and give great feed back. You can tell they love what they are doing. Thank you to everyone at Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital for all your hard work especially during this crazy time with Covid. Penelope and I really appreciate you all.
I could not say enough nice things about the Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital and especially their staff. I rescued my dog, Fergus, through Canine Haven and they were using this vet. My family ended up keeping Fergus at this vet, even though it's not our closest option, simply because the staff are so wonderful. Fergus actually looks forward to going to the vet, and happy throughout his whole visit (even with needles, and blood tests!) The staff are great about following up as well. Love them!
This vet clinic used to be fantastic when it was run by Dr. Barrientos but unfortunately is no longer a practice I’d recommend. It was once friendly, informative and caring. I’ve been going here with two different pets over 16 years and would no longer recommend it. Each visit is with a different vet, money seems to be the main goal (consultation visit costs went up three different times in one year) and there is no empathy. I suggest finding a clinic that is not run by a corporation.
Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital has been a part of our fur family's care partners for a long time. Everyone is super helpful and puts our minds at ease each time we visit whether it's for regular checkups or a health concern. Dr Asotra is a gem and she hands down one of the greatest vets we have seen. She takes the time to explain things to us in order to help us make the best decisions for the health of our fur babies. We highly recommend this veterinarian to anyone looking for a vet.
After spending a few years looking for a great vet (I’d had a very bad experience), I found Dr. Asotra at Dundas Euclid Animal hospital, and wouldn’t go anywhere else. I have always felt respected and supported by all the staff at the hospital. Dr. Asotra has always let me know my options, what the costs will be and no pressure (or guilt) just support in making choices about my dogs health. I could go on, but I don’t have the words to express how much gratitude I have for the team.
I came to Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital after calling 5 vets on a long weekend to see my dog. They were thankfully able to get me in last minute. Everyone was friendly and super professional. The vet was informative and made me feel involved and was completely willing to answer my questions (this has not always been case when I visited other Toronto clinics). The price was reasonable and way cheaper than when I had seen other clinics for same issue. I will definitely be back!
I have been with Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital since I had my first dog about 15 years ago. All the staff are very friendly, helpful, professional; and most of all very compassionate. They are super responsive to questions and always open to discuss any issues or concerns I may have. I lost one of my dogs (Buddy)last year and they were very compassionate. Thank you to all the doctors and staff. I highly recomend their services and will continue to bring my pet Roxy:)
I was so nervous about bringing in my pup and I felt like the vet really helped to reassure me, carefully answering all my questions and presenting options, including what each would cost to help to pick the best route. They checked up on my little one even before our return appointment, which helped me to be less worried about her as I had the opportunity to clarify a few things. The experience made me much less worried about going to the vet in the future.
My husband and I noticed that one of our cats wasn't acting her normal self so we took her in to see the vet team at Dundas Euclid. They gave us some possible diagnosises, which broke our hearts. They gave a few options which we choose medications while waiting for blood results. When we got the good news we were elated! The staff and drs at Dundas and Euclid were fantastic, kind and patient we couldn't ask for a team to take care of our baby. Thank-you!
Dr. Asotra and her team have always been very professional, thorough, and kind. My dog had a recurring issue that other vets weren’t able to identify. Dr. Asotra provided more thorough testing and was able to get to the root of the issue so we could properly address it. I always feel like my dog is in good hands when he goes for a visit. I like that there is the drop-off option for appointments and the communication is always great.
Dr. Natasha Asotra of Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital is by far the best vet I have ever had. She was so good with my cat (calm and gentle) and provided excellent follow up care (phone calls) to ensure she was okay. You can tell she genuinely loves animals and is very professional and responsive. The staff are also excellent. I have lived with my cat in 4 different cities and Dr. Asotra is miles above any other vet I’ve come across.
Dr. Asotra and Dr. Barrientos are both kind, compassionate and knowledgeable vets. We've had two pets as patients at this clinic and will continue to use (and recommend) them. Our current dog has had a number of issues (some quite serious) and when they aren't able to treat him at their facility they have provided us with excellent referrals and always make an effort to follow up to see how he's doing. Excellent service and care!
Well folks dont come 10 min late to this animal hospital by appointment they wont see you looks like they have enough buisness they wont take care of your pet even if it has a complicated issue “ words if the receptionist complecated issue and wont even see him for 20 minutes and says it closes at 7 pm i am sure what they think the appointment was and what i wanted them too see are two different things they didnt need 30 min
I have been with Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital for so many years that they all know my pets as if it was there own. The workers are friendly, professional and hard workers. Every time I bring in my dog "Paco" they know him so well and he knows them and that makes for a better appointment. The doctors are fantastic!! They always take the best care of my paco. Treatment is always what it should be...right on!! Thanks guys!
I’m very upset with this clinic. I’ve bringing my pet over 10 years with them, and related to service I’ve no complains. But now my dog got sick and I called them and they’re not able to make a exception and see him in a moment of emergency. They don’t hesitate to book when is just to book app for shots or exams but when you really need cannot be relied. They’re a team with veterinarians that could see him or even try!
I have been bringing my cat here for the last 17 years. DEAH has always treated us as part of the family. Taking extra time to make sure She's getting the proper treatment. We always work together to come up with the most reasonable solution to any of my pets needs. Dr. Roman treats my cat like her own and always takes the time to discuss everything with me and explore all possible avenues. Big love for this place xox
I had a dog that was so well taken care of by Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital that when I got a new puppy, there was no doubt about where I would go for her care. The staff and doctors are first and foremost animal lovers and everyone is professional, polite and accommodating. Fluffy Tails grooming are awesome and my dog always comes home looking and feeling great. I highly recommend Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital!
I was refereed to Dundas Euclid AH, by a friend of mine who has had many of her pets see the team here. I love the attention and care my Miniature Schnauzer gets here. I'm a first time pet mom and I think they can tell. lol They are super patient with me, all my photos, questions and "Are you sure?" moments. I also like that fact that it's a one stop shop for your pet, from regular check ups to grooming visits.
I’ve been bringing my pets to Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital from the time they opened. They’ve taken care of my Fred and my Zelda Until they crossed the rainbow bridge. We now have a little dog Max and his buddy Leo the cat who we adopted from Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital seven years ago. I’ve always been able to count on this clinic For exceptional care for my loved little furry ones. I highly recommend them.
I've been with DEAH since 2004 and have a had excellent experiences throughout. My cat Scarlett lived to be 21 and had numerous visits that in no small part kept her going. My big rescue dog Nell who was afraid of everything, somehow managed to cope, mostly because of the great staff. And my cat Rufus is the latest to be in the hands of Dr. B and the team. Trustworthy, kind, knowledgeable.
My 5 year old cat Beatrice was due for a basic check-up, so I inquired with Dundas Euclid. They were very quick, accommodating and easy to communicate with! They didn’t offer me any extra unnecessary services when it came to my cat’s care which I really appreciated, just the shots I already assumed she would need an update on. I will definitely be returning to this vet as needed!
I was a new pet owner with 4 cats when I started going to Dundas Euclid Vet. Almost 4 years later, and I wouldn't change a thing. The staff are friendly, and during emergencies help us over the phone, or let us know other Vets or emergency hospitals we can go to off hours. I also really appreciate the alert texts we receive to remind us to schedule their annual check-up/vaccines
I am a new client there and took my rescue dog for his shots and an examination. They were awesome. They found a little infection in my dog's ear and administered antibiotics and set him up with a flea/tick treatment and explained the process to me thoroughly. The staff treated my dog wonderfully, and now every time we walk past, he stops at the door and wants to visit them;)
This was our first visit and everyone was so kind and caring. our adopted cat needs to have some very significant dental work done, and the vet was very transparent with all of the costs, and did not pressure us to make a quick decision. They provided us with a very thorough estimate so that we could make an informed and timely decision about our next steps. Thank you!!
I have been going to Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital for over 6 years since my dog Benji was a puppy. Every visit has been a positive experience. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. The doctors here are amazing and caring, they follow up to see how their patient is doing and if there are any concerns. I couldn't ask for a better team. Thank you for your services!
Sending another review for this incredible facility. My dog Levon is always in the best of care at this Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital. Not only are they incredibly attentive to all of my questions and Levon's needs, they are always just a phone call away with any thoughts / questions I have. A solid, caring team. Couldn't ask for a better team to take care of my dog.
Hands and paws down the best veterinary clinic in the city. Am a long time dog owner and was overjoyed to find Dundas Euclid when I moved into the city and travelling up to my regular vet was too far. Each Dr. is professional, knowledgeable and most of all caring. Groomer is also just great. Our brand new puppy and we are so glad to know we are in their care.
Dr. Roman’s patience and genuine care for her clients is truly remarkable. I don’t know too many people who can tolerate my ignorance as a first-time pet/dog owner. Answered any and all questions I had, no matter how ridiculous or inane. Super thankful to have her as my pup’s vet! Also, shoutout to all the staff for always being helpful and welcoming!
Took my kitty for an examination + shots and it was the best vet experience I've had! I took him during the pandemic, so I dropped him inside and the vet called me a few minutes later to discuss the check up. She explained everything really thoroughly, and was very clear about recommendations and prices. Definitely going to keep coming back!
We love Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital. We have been taking our dog there for 10 years and they make us feel like family. They know our dog by name and have helped us through some tough times. The staff are very loving and treat us like Gold. If you’re looking for an excellent vet, look no further, this is the best one in the city.
As a new pet owner, the staff at Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital were extremely professional and friendly during my first vet visit! The team were very patient with my overly excited dog, and myself with my limited animal health experience. I had a great vet experience and would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone looking!!
I am very pleased with the service. I took my dog for emergency reason, did not have prior appointment but they accomodated me anyway. I like when they make follow up on how my dog is doing while he was on medication. The staff are very responsive and professional. I would highly recommend Euclid Animal Hospital. Great service !
I adopted my sweet little Jack in 2016 and he’s been with Dundas Euclid Vet ever since. They’ve been just the most wonderful over the years - everyone is so kind, gentle, thorough and patient. They always listen carefully and I never ever feel rushed or pressured. 10/10, 5 stars, and 2 very enthusiastic thumbs up for DEAH …
The team at Dundas Euclid is very professional, reliable and friendly. We always feel super comfortable leaving our cat with them whenever he needs a checkup, knowing he's in great hands. They're super responsive to questions and always open to discussing any issues or concerns we have at the time. Would highly recommend!!
The Staff at Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital are always friendly, helpful, professional and most of all compassionate. They are always patient and answer all my questions. The clinic has gone out of their way to accommodate my requests. I know Hank and Eddie are always in good, caring hands and will receive top notch care.
Had my dog in for her grooming. Very happy with the service. My dog is a very nervous dog and 13 years of age. The groomer did her grooming in 10-15 minute intervals as not to stress her too much. I received a call from the groomer telling me that and a time to pick her up. All the staff very helpful and professional.
I find this veterinarian excellent. My dog has had two recent health issues. The doctor always takes time to explain what is happening in great detail. It is very important for me to know not only the reason why my dog is encountering health issues but also a good plan of action. The staff is caring and accommodating.
They are fast and reliable. They care for my cat and have helped me make dietary changes for her that have saved her life. We visit when we have to and they make every visit tolerable for little Stevie. I appreciate them so much and am very grateful to live in the neighbourhood. I <3 Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital!
I've been bringing my pets to this clinic since the late 90's, they have been very kind and helpful with all the beasts I've had over the years, and it continues with the incredible attention they have given to my giant geriatric Mastiff. I have total trust that they will give him the best care possible.
Our puppy was quite sick at one point, and the Dundas Euclid Vets offered wonderful care, with prompt communication and sincere concern. Our little girl ultimately needed emergency surgery and (thankfully) made a quick recovery, and is still always happy to see her friends at Dundas Euclid.
They provide thoughtful and kind services, with efficient staff and very thorough vets. Procedures and medications are always carefully explained to me and I feel confident leaving my guys in their capable hands. Thank you DEAH for taking such good care of my babycats over the years!
Excellent staff and very caring. My little guy Taylor has been well looked after by the clinic since he was a puppy. That has been 14.5 years! I am sure he is still with me and still very active thanks in great part to the Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital staff. Keep up the great work!
Technicians were really nice and friendly but the vet Dr. Smith was not helpful or friendly. My dog is rescued and he is fearful which I clearly indicated prior to his appointment. His Vet was not prepared to handle fearful dogs. Our dog was stressed out, we wasted time and money.
Couldn't be happier with the service we have received and continue to receive from Dundas Euclid. No hi-pressure sales push to spend more money than necessary, but detailed hi-quality care nonetheless. True value for money. Front-line staff are cheerful & welcoming. Recommended!
Amazing care and service with our two dogs for over 16 years. They are pros and are very reasonable compared to other clinics. Most of all, their compassion for dogs and cats always shines through. They truly love your pets and want them to thrive and live a good life.
Many years ago we found Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital and we love the vets, technicians, receptionists and entire team! They always aim to make our cat feel as comfortable and happy as possible, the services and advice is top notch. We highly recommend them.
We took our puppy to Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital this week and was very happy with their care for him and service. Their rates are reasonable and you can see that they really care for the animals here. We hope to continue to work with them going forward.
The best care our 14 year old daschund has ever had! The team at Dundas Euclid is so caring and conscientious. Thank you! Our 18 year old tabby sadly passed away last January - the team at Dundas Euclid couldn't have been more wonderful. Thank you.
They were amazing with my 9 month old “jumping bean” Tallie. As a new pet owner they were amazing with passing along information regarding my pups health and steps to take going forward. Happy to find such a great team for my fur baby. …
Our family has been a Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital client for 10 years. We have used their services extensively and we have found Dr. B to be a consummate professional and very empathetic. He has agreed to treat cases that other vets would
Our cat Maddie was quite lethargic and not herself. We called the clinic and at first the only appointment was a few days away. About an hour later we got a call to say they were concerned as she is quite an old girl and could we bring her
Took my Springer Spaniel here for a puncture wound after a dog bit him. Our vet is in New Market, but we live close by Dundas-Euclid Animal Hospital. We couldn't get an appointment with a vet immediately but the receptionist offered that a

I love this animal hospital. Both vets are amazing at their job, and while my cat got diagnosed with cancer and had to be put to sleep Dr. Oscar was incredible. He was reassuring and caring, and he really sympathized with us and made the
Really caring team. Great vet and groomer. Front desk staff is friendly and welcoming. I gave been with them with my cat and now my dog. When my cat passed they were very caring and compassionate. Made a very trying experience easier. My
so beyond grateful to have found these guys. a few years ago my sphynx cat had an accident that severely injured his leg. the emergency vet clinic was initially suggesting amputation. I took him to this clinic and dr roman performed
The staff here are always so lovely and caring. Even though the last few years I can't go in with my cat for her exam, they make it as smooth as it can be! Been taking my cat to this vet team since 2010 and they are always great :)
Been bringing my cats to this vet clinic for over 4 years. They're friendly, and always on time. Dr. Asotra has been on mat leave, but she's a wonderful vet who provided the best support as our cat went through a health crisis.
Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital is professional, friendly and reasonable price place to go for your pet! I feel confident to bring my MiMi there to have her check-up and vaccinations. I know she will be well care for!
my partner and i are so grateful for everyone at DEAH. they have taken such great care of both our cats, grimace and reaper, and always make us feel comfortable. they go above and beyond in every regard.
Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital is great! They are super happy to help us with our grouchy cat and make a plan so that we can work together to ensure her health and well being! Thanks!
Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital have been incredible. My pup concurs -although we don’t always go because we want to, we know we are in good hands when we get there. (Treats!)
Two pro tips: 1) ASK how long the appointment time will be. Sometimes they keep my pup for hours, this past time, they had her only about 36 minutes... Unfortunately since I
Aswell as being kind and helpful they are very knowledgable. I bring both my cats to them and they are great with them. If I could five more than 5 stars I would.
The doctors are not pleasant to deal with and it is very overpriced. You get charged for walking in. The receptionists/nurses are nice.
Great staff: friendly, knowledgeable, responsive and accommodating. Nala (my 14-months old golden retriever) and I are very happy …
Dr. Barrientos and his staff have been taking the best care of my teacup yorkies for many years. The are always attentive and caring.
Great clinic! You feel safe and comfortable to have your pet taken care of here by professionals.
