So, I came in about less than a week ago to look for dress shoes. After looking and finding the right pair, I bought them. When checking out the employee told me "You can return the shoes upon 30 days of buying them but they have to be unworn" Sounds all good. That was Saturday June 18th. I tried them around here and there at my house all good and was excited to wear them for my graduation which was on the Wednesday after it, the 22nd. I literally wore them for 15-20 minutes max and had to ask my parents to bring me my other shoes, Hugo Boss dress shoes to relieve me of the pain. Yes, I wore them for that period of time and was extremely disappointed because they looked spot on and went extremely well with my suit. So as soon as I got home after it, I knew that I was going to return them because I can’t wear them. And yes, I know that I can remove one of soles to make space inside the shoe but it kept on hitting my toe and the sides of my ankles. Now, today which is Saturday June 25th, exactly a week after I bought the shoes, not two or three or more weeks, one week and worn for literally 20 minutes tops. I go in the store, ask for e return and the lady which after turns out to be the manager, tells me right away that she can’t do anything about it because they are used. So I was like you know what, ok all good. The I show them to my dad whome knows loads about dress shoes and so on and so forth. He goes in there, explains everything to her but she kept on saying no. He wears cochlear implant’s and can’t hear himself very well when speaking so it’s normal that he speaks a bit louder but the MANAGER was rude and kept on telling him to lower his voice, even though he told her about them, and she changed her tone nad was extremely unpleasant. Are those ways to speak to a customer ? Are those ways to deal with the issues of a customer ? Now tell me, how do you want me to try on the shoes and not be able to not wear them ? She could’ve easily found the solution but she said that bottom of the shoe is not in a condition to be sold. Pardon my French but bullsh*t. I am extremely extremely disappointed and believe me, I’ll not wear those shoes ever again, I’ll not buy a single thing from Ecco ever again and shame on that person because as a manager, that is not a way to treat a client. Still has a bit of hope that this can be resolved but let me tell you something, if you want to buy dress shoes that won’t be "in a non condition of return within 20 minutes of wearing them" don’t go for Ecco or at least the Ecco store that is in Tanger.

A limited selection. I didn't find anything that I liked. What turned me off was there were three people working (manager/owner, helper, and cashier) and it's hard to explain but because the manager was there I think the girl helping felt pressured to seem busy so she kept offering to pull out things for me even before I knew what I wanted, like I was just browsing, and she hovered and watched me like hawk. I felt like everyone was watching me and I couldn't relax or enjoy my time in the shop so I just left. Leave people alone, read the room and social ques. It's also difficult when the manager/owner is there because they want to see you pushing product but they're so far removed from the customer experience, they are so clueless. Edit: As to your reply. A copy paste response isn't very reassuring or indicative that anything will be done to improve a customers experience. Or really, anything, for that matter. Your responses are there so anyone reading a review will see that you've 'done' something to change. I hope no one is so gullible. I've changed it from a 2 to a 1 star now. I realize I have a tiny, little footprint but this does something for me. Goodbye.

Service was exceptional. I very much appreciated the level of service and knowledge level of the sales associate who helped in my decision to purchase shoes, she had a total understanding of what I needed and what would best serve my needs I drove from the other side of Ottawa and would do it again to buy shoes i had been to several stores prior to finding this one, it was by far the best. They had excellent inventory for my popular size feet! I went to several stores prior to making this purchase.

Very high quality shoes. I have serious back problems and ecco is the only shoes that made me feel comfortable and I could work for hours. The team there are very friendly, lots of attention, respect and help. good prices and delivery was very fast in just three days. Absolutely I recommended this place!! and I will go there again!!

Good stock of end of season footwear unfortunately sizing was a problem! Apparently shoes now come in full and half sizing all in the same shoe - didn't know that the same shoe now fits two people and if that doesn't work then you go up another 1 and 1 1/2 in size. Shoe clerk was very attentive and pleasant.

A very good shopping experience. Maybe because of covid-19，there were not much customers in the store, but the sales are very enthusiastic. After understanding my needs, she introduced me to several special boots. The quality of ecco is really good, and I am planning to buy spring sneakers next time.

Best customer service you will ever get. The whole staff was very helpful and accomodating during a return. They also helped me find the most comfortable shoe by asking the right questions. Staff were professional, friendly and soooo helpful. I'll definitely be going there whenever I need footwear.

Got a pair of golf shoes here last year, I had a lovely experience with the staff and a love the shoes. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely recommend stopping by and I will definitely be shopping here again.

They are supposed to be open till 6pm weekdays, but on two attempts at 5:45 and even 5:15 they were already closed. If you want to close at 5pm then change your signs at the door and stop wasting people's time!

A nice little store for those who like Ecco footwear. Their shoes, boots and sandals are quite expensive but they come with Ecco comfort and quality.
