thought I liked it, the cashiers are really nice, and the floor staff helpful, right down the street from Me. BUT. I go there today, and there is a huge pickup parked in two spots, one of which was the only handicapped spot, I go to the manager's office, and He huffs at me and tells me He will move it, and storms out of the office, and says well, I was loading stuff, and points to a cart with laundry soap, and softener, don't break Your non-handicapped back Sir. AND then continues to make excuses as He walks out the door, Of course I left and went straight to Aldi's, now to find a replacement location to purchase my tobacco products, considering I get 150 in food stamps and only shopped at Snyder's for the last 3 months means nothing to Management, nor the lost revenue., Thanks anyway Snyder's I tried.

Does not close at 8!!! Most days they'll close 15 min. before displayed closing time, and other days will even close 25-30 min. earlier. I used to like the convenience of the location to my house. But for how over priced everything actually is and for how unreliable they choose to stay open, I'd much rather take a few extra min. to drive down the road to a fairer priced OPENED Price Chopper. It's a shame how hard they end up making it to support a local business that doesn't even care to stay open.. Hope they can change these issues but if not, oh well, my money's good everywhere else too! ‍♀️

Snyder's is just ok. I like to support local businesses, but they have made it difficult with no checks policy that is not posted anywhere, lack of cash back at register, you have to got to liquor box and pay a dollar fee. Complete lack of fresh produce of any kind. It's there it's just old and overpriced and nasty. They have some bargains on some items. And meat is a good deal there. Often there is serious judgement of the character of customers by management. It is located on Independence Ave so I mansure many street folk come in, but lots of other neighbors do too and we are not all off the street.

Small downtown grocery. Closest thing I can find to a health food market. Mainstream grocery B.Choice & A.Save generics priced comp. Most products brand name are 10-25% higher. Promotional prices are comparable to others in area. *****FULL SERVICE MEAT COUNTER**** Decent well kept produce area (small) I wasn't too impressed with staff friendliness but service certainly passes. What I expected for a downtown grocery. 5star. Update 4Jun2018-surprisingly limited selection of cigarettes for store in this area (lockbooth sales) Grocery store, no star loss. Staff friendly!

This place is a nightmare.My friend worked here for 2 years.This place is so disgusting , I bought a pack of re-packaged chicken from there , tell why there were three roaches inside?I told the Health Department.Nothing happened to them.I tried to buy cheese from there.The crap was molded.Don't even try the meat section it is the worst!! Remember to always check the expiration dates , they have a habit of keeping year old expired things in stock.The prices are over the top.I heard this place was good now since the owner is dead , it is a tale.

Went in this store to use the change machine I had over 2 hundred dollars in change counted it myself put it in the machine it counted it so fast I knew it wasn't rite the man behind the counter tried to argue with me the machine took about 75 dollars from me I told him I wasn't there to argue I just wanted what was mines its been a month now and they wont respond to my phone calls this store has been beating us for years now its time to do something about it.

Wow i cant believe snyders is gone i grew up in this area and as a child snyders was our favorite grocery store to go to . when i went in it kinda hurt my feelings. The people who grew up in this area all of our memories are being taken from us left and right . all we have left that is known on independece ave is 711 and price chopper everything else is mexican nothing against them but juat not what we are use to .

This place has the best butcher case in NEKC and if you come on the right day you can get a good cut of steak on the low low. Don't sleep on the bakery, if you are a big sandwich person don't hesitate to try your favorite on a bolillo. When that massive freighter boat got stuck in the Panama Canal they were out of all horseradish products but the manager there managed to keep me updated everytime I went in.

Really wish they hadnt changed it cause a few of the products i was getting from snyders i cant get from here cause of the language barrier an the fact that they all wanna act like we no speak English ish is really getting on my nerves why open a store u cant speak nor understand your own customers at? Uugh i hate it here

This store is Dirty and very expensive. They stack- up boxes at the entrance, and the exit I'm sure it's a code violation. The meat is So Old" the dates must be incorrect! The price tag says one thing but when you get cashed-out it's another price. I will "NEVER" recommend this store to anybody in my community …

Great store clean &friendly employees with knowledge of products .....place went through remodel after a fire next door. I love that if you need help with groceries taken to car without hassle for anyone who needs help. Food prices aren't bad &meat is fresh along with fruits &vegetables...love this store overall

Love the renovations however the cashier that I received wasn't very knowledgeable about Wic vouchers and ultimately turned me with my items and my 7 month old away instead of asking for help. Also the formula cost more here than at some place such as Walgreens or CVS. An extra $2-$3 more adds up.

This is the only place in the world where fruit is on the clearance rack!!! Old fruit for sale folks!!!! Meat outdated is still in freezer! Ans old baby formula is a great buy,!! Poor child. But they will get u your mulah of your debit card..... ☺

Expensive. Make sure to ask for your bags after you pay they don't care to give them all to you... we purchased charcoal 13$ for a small bag got home didn't have it went back with the receipt and were told too bad nothing we can do about it

They are the best store ever. They have everything you need. Everyone there is nice and friendly and will help if you have any questions. The store owner walks around the store being friendly and stocking shelves. I give this store 5 stars.

It used to be grocery store call Snyder's but now it's owned by different people it's been remodeled inside and I went there when they weren't busy they have quite a selection that help seem to be friendly and knowledgeable

I think they can improve the kind of song they play for the shoppers. A music that invites the customer to go back to shop. Focus on sales and neighbors who support the business. Thank you for your service, Mercado Fresco.

This is my favorite store. However, I always have to stop somewhere else on my way home. They're either out of something or don't carry it. Overall, great place to shop. The produce and meat are fresh. The folks are nice.

It's a small neighborhood market, friendly people who take care of there neighbors who are loyal shopers. The only drawback is they don't have the big selection of the bigger chains but you won't be waiting in long lines.

I loved to shop at snyders when i lived in Kansas City. I enjoyed the staff so much I applied for a position and was hired. I know live in Mesquite , Texas but think about all my ex co- workers often. Love you all, Ruth

They keep closing before posted time and the meth head looking cashier was mad that the owner let me in to get one item so she gave me a dirty look her other coworker was mad to you just can't find good help these days

This was a new market we visited. Great variety of foods to shop for. Bakery items were so awesome. It is not a huge market but is clean and well stocked. Nice international vibe and the employees were very helpful.

I asked for a dragon Ball Z cake with fondant and they gave me the opposite of what I showed them I’m highly upset it’s my kids first birthday absolutely horrible never again the cake is not even good …

What a great store. I went in to cash a check and the people were so friendly and helpful. I've started shopping there regurly and find their prices are very reasonable but the people are awesome.

I hate going to this store that's why I usually go out far because there are no good grocery stores in the downtown area when shopping for a family and it wasn't the employees it's the customers

It is very cluttered and difficult to maneuver, but they have a great selection and the BAKERY IS AMAZING!!! Even if not shopping for bread or sweets, bust try one. The turnover was soooo good!

Why is it that you clearly state you close at 8:00pm but yet I show up to your store at 7:45pm & your doors are locked your closed? Please explain! Because I swear it says you close at 8:00pm.

That meat was expensive and old looking. I spent 20 minutes looking for decent meat & that wasn't accomplished. All the "managers specials" looked like cancerous meat.. just go to thrift way.

Clean, organized, GREAT produce section. Friendly employees. Parking lot is... Not like in the suburbs, but you can buy a good avocado for under $1.00 and it's locally owned. You should go!

Very convenient supermarket BUT as a WIC consumer there store is POORLY labeled items. Then once at the register the girls should be more friendly as to inform and deal with WIC issues.

A lot of variety in grocery store, fresh, good quality, they have a lot special prices in some food and offers with discounts and costumers care very greatful and helpful.

Their meat and produce section is small but fairly priced with good specials and all their produce was fresh on the Thursday I was there. Lots of staples that were cheap.

Good prices and sales on meat. I love getting the sweet breads. The little loafs of bread that is consistently baked all day are so good for sandwiches.
