    "I was approached at my workplace by an "assistant manager" from this company by the name of Sabina Shah, I have since found out this was a lie and she is an entry level colleague of theirs, instagram @sabinashahidox, she was quite rude and demanding over a simple misunderstanding and seemed to think that her assistant manager position at enterprise of all places (a budget car & van rental company) allows her a sense of superiority and self entitlement, this is not the case, everyone is equal and is deserving of the same treatment (manners are free and easy to learn), please inform your colleagues that invoking your company name while being downright abusive and rude will achieve nothing other than alienating the very people you are asking for help! Regards, A disgruntled person *Since leaving this review I have now been threatened with the police for harrasment because I have refused to take her poor attitude lying down as most probably do, reviewing someones attitude on google is not harrasment, this is a poor show on behalf of both Mrs Shah and Enterprise themselves!"

Not the best of experiences overall. Vehicle was delivered, with no offer to check/record issues or answer any questions. Just sat outside my house, waiting for their colleague to turn up to be ready to collect them. Handed me the keys and left immediately. On checking the vehicle, found dents and scratches that weren't already noted on the delivery sheet. The dash came straight up with an EML and emissions warning when turned over. I called to tell them and they said for me to call the breakdown team. Nobody came out, because it wasn't showing a loss of power. I was told I would receive a call when a replacement vehicle was available. I didn't use it for a few days, but noticed when I drove it at speed on an A-Road or Motorway, it pulled to the left. I'd waited some days since telling them of the EMal without being contacted, so called them to ask for a replacement vehicle. I was told that one would be available from the next day after 10am. I arrived just before 5pm and the vehicle was only just being returned by the previous customer. So it wasn't cleaned or given a thorough inspection. It seems in okay condition, but I would have been dissapointed to arrive earlier today and for the vehicle not to be ready as promised, or taking it and finding it in a poor state. Would expect a company like Enterprise to allow adequate time for checking vehicle quality and not to rent out vehicles with warning lights and streeting issues. It seems like more time is needed inbetween accepting a vehicle back from a customer and then offering it to the next person.

Booked a van from 8am, days in advance. Received a call the day before to say it wouldn't be available at 8am, but would at 10am and someone would call just before. Not ideal but I said ok, and changed my times with the removals company I was meeting 200 miles away. No phone call came and van wasn't ready at 10am the next day either. I tried to phone them 21 times but it just rang out, apart from twice when someone answered and promptly put the phone down on me. Staff member said it was because so many other people were phoning, but in the 30mins I was there, the phone didn't ring once. I drove up to the offices to see what was happening. On showing my disappointment and explaining the mess it had left me in, the staff member became cocky and then said ah we'll cancel your booking altogether then if you're not happy. Hardly professional or the right thing to do given the circumstances. Van was finally ready at 11:15 (would've been later but I said not to bother washing it) On return, I asked for someone in authority to call, and also answered a text message feedback survey, where my response resulted in it telling me someone from head office would call. But now, 1 month later, nobody has. Received a small discount on my booking, but was not enough I'm afraid given the mess it left me in re timings/costs I endured, and the fact nobody could be bothered to answer the phone/hung up. Would never use again.

I've been using enterprise for the past two years in Canada and this is the first time in the UK and there is a drastic difference. Very rude customer service in this branch. Two times I book the car from the website and when I go to pick it up there is no availability. The customer personnel stated in a very rude manner that I just can't make the reservation from outside the branch (I live around the corner) and come pick it up. Instead of stating the fact that it's not my fault that the branch has a faulty system and shows availability when there is not. In Canada, the system does not allow me to book unless there is a car available and he should be educated that this is how it should be! In Canada, I can always drop off the keys at a drop box when the branch is off-hours, although I'm forced to sign a damage waiver here and in Canada there is no need! Enterprise is a global entity and it should bring up the service in the UK as in Canada.

FRAUD and poor service, lack of genuine care and willing to lie to get what they want. Forged my signature and denied damage was there. Luckily I took photos before the rental commenced. Be very careful dealing with this brand as they are dishonest. Luckily it’s not being dealt with by head office based on the evidence I had at my disposal. Car has a fault for which Tom lied about claiming some nonsense about acceleration warning. Upon checking the manual in the car it’s actually a fault with the exhaust and requires attention. States no others to swap to despite a garage full. Basically swapped out a brand new van which they needed for a broken Vauxhall they wanted shifting to another branch. Wasted my Saturday morning with a promise of exchange to then say not possible. What I will say is I will no longer use you for personal hires or my business!

Do not touch this company with a barge pole. Absolutely disgusting, dreadful service, they show no customer care and have no professionalism. A perfect example of how not to treat customers. Quote 1 price then charge another. On complaining about the way my wife was treated we were offered no solution or any form of service to resolve our issue. I would highly recommend searching elsewhere if you need to hire a vehicle. Also for the week we had the vehicle, the car we were sent was filthy dirty and smelt dreadful inside. Do not deal with this company especially Callum who has no people skills and is a smarmy rude employee and who needs to be removed from dealing with customers. You only need to read the other reviews on trust pilot and you will see that enterprise show no care to customers and offer a dreadful service. Never again enterprise!

My son had previously hired a van from Enterprise and so, on his advice, I did the same and booked a large van for a day (on line, which was really easy) to pick up next morning. Amir phoned me to confirm it would meet my needs, take details and agree the collection time. I arrived on the day and the van was there waiting for me, clean, tidy and almost new. Vaughn dealt with the details and the handover, all very friendly and professional. Van was great and on return next morning, again the guys were all very professional, even the boss (Ashley) came out to say hello and check I was happy with the service. A quick check and my damage excess deposit was returned promptly. So, thanks guys, it was a pleasure to hire a van from you. I’ll be back!

Avoid, is not a fair company! They don't give you a contract or making you aware of any additional charges which can happen, but are charging £35/event for admin fee in case of anything they need to inform you after (parking, traffic or tax fine). Once you give them your debit card data, they are taking the money from you next day, even if you didn't receive the fine details on your name. In my case is a parking fine in a shop, which is wrong and I will disputed with that shop, but Enterprise is looking to take the money asap. Others companies are asking for £10, and in the end they are oblige to do it by the law, is not making you a favor. Is just daily business, but they are looking for profits from any source.

They do not have the size we ordered. So the day before they have rung to say they do not have it and will provide a larger vehicle. You may think, what is her problem? Well, they won't do this for free but an extra charge of £15 per day. This means we do not have time to source anything else and £15 per day over a number of days does add up. We will have to pay congestion charges and extra petrol - this has pushed us way over budget and the late notice means we could not make other arrangements. If they did/do not have the car size then the website should not let you book it OR they should upgrade you free of charge. We have/had to pay for their mistake not our own. Very disappointed...

Worst car rental place I've been to. Second time I've been in and asked for an SUV and been given different cars every time. Both times the same excuse - 'the car you hired has a cracked windshield'. Didn't realize it took a year to fix that issue. When they gave me the latest rental, there were dirty stains on the seats and it absolutely stunk of cigarette smoke - and I needed it for my 5month old baby. The rental even had a 'baby on board' sticker provided by enterprise, so not sure why smoking was even allowed in a vehicle like this. Will never be using this branch again - possibly even enterprise after being a customer for nearly 10 years.

Forced to hire a car via a no blame accident from Enterprise, recommended by my insurance company. Delivered car to repairer and rang Enterprise based nearby to ask if they could collect me as I am mildly disabled. No problem replied Hassan their rep dealing with my case. So...I was collected and taken to their place nearby. Did business and signed forms in a pleasant manner then taken to my hire car which was a nearly new Mercedes. Shown all the controls and departed feeling very satisfied with the experience. They are professionals and come highly recommended by me. Thank you!!! Bryan Jackson.

I hired a van yesterday from Enterprise at Sutton Coldfield. Big shout out to Ashley - he was brilliant - he asked what I needed a van for and then advised a more suitable vehicle than I was initially considering. After I got home last night after a very long day I was so grateful for his advice. The van was perfect (automatic) and perfect for the long drives I needed to do. When I was given the van it was spotless inside and out. I've used Enterprise at Sutton before and have never been disappointed and won't hesitate to use them again. Brilliant people.

Customer service 5 STARS, process 4 STARS. Staff very friendly and welcoming. I have to give 4 stars fro the process as I booked a van for a morning collection but on arrival the branch was waiting for the van to be delivered. A customer was returning a van and I asked if I could take that van, it was no issue to swop me into the returned van and they did ask if I wanted it cleaned, I was happy to not have it cleaned as I was only doing 1 journey. The transit custom had CarPlay and I was a very happy customer. Thanks guys

I've been hiring from the Sutton Coldfield branch since February 2021. I have hired multiple times. Mubz, Tom and Ash have always taken care of my hire and needs. The last 2-3 hires was managed by Ash and I have to say he delivers over and beyond. He pays attention to my needs and during my August booking he went out of his way to find an automatic car as I needed this for health reasons at the time. Always readily available and responded to messages/calls. Ash is an asset to the Enterprise.

There is no customer service, they just do not care about customers. I booked in advance, but they did not have my car level when I went to collect. I waited and had to take a lower level car. Now a month on, being given the run around for my refund. Was told 7 to 10 days. Now being advised there was an error and after a month, its going to be another 7 to 10 days. I will keep posting on here with updates. Think very carefully about choosing them, they just don't care.

A real rip off service. After 1 weeks rental I needed the car for a further week. They tried to charge double for the same car for the 2nd week!! Disgusting as the car was available via the call centre for the original price but the Sutton Coldfield branch tried to rip me off. To add to it all the sales team were sarcastic and rude when the car was returned. The complaint I made was followed up by a very smug and unhelpful area manager.

I have been using Enterprise for many years now, and the service I received recently from Ashley was second to none, and he understands what it is to deliver world class service. When I arrived the car was ready and fully prepared, he was very professional, polite, and could not do enough to ensure I left extremely pleased with the service received. In terms of car hires I have had some really bad experiences, even a few years back from a previous enterprise! On this occasion I can honestly say it was the most professional experience I have had in car hire. Mainly down to Ash who was very welcoming and organised everything to perfection - from start to finish. Can honestly recommend & I will be using the Sutton Coldfield enterprise again shortly. WS.

Service was excellent. The staff were happy to talk through the extra options and details etc. I got a medium sized van. Advertised as a Vauxhall Vivaro or similar on the website, but I got a VW Transporter. The van itself was in great condition, in fact it was virtually brand new. It handled well and there was decent space - about 2.4m by 1.5m inside (narrower by the rear wheels).

Awesome customer service from Ashley at Enterprise rent a car today . I was let down by an alternate vehicle supplier in readiness for a new job and Ashley sorted everything out … even making calls and being on hold for over 20 minutes to make sure I was sorted with a car .. a Mercedes C class AMG !!! Brilliant service and would definitely use again no hesitation .

Horrendous customer service, from such a well renowned organisation I would have expected much better. Utterly disappointed and would advise to steer clear, overcharged by a day even though they were informed the car was free to collect at their convenience, they took it upon themselves to collect it a day late and invoice me for the costs!

Although not the fault of the office involved; the original E class supplied clearly had not been fully repaired after an incident. The staff at the branch managed to get a replacement within a few days but that interrupted a trip. Whilst the resulting car was great to drive the lack of checking on the original car made it more of a chore.

Terrible customer service on both occasions I’ve had to deal with this branch. Avoid at all costs! Lied about fuel level in car on drop off and tried to charge for an extra days usage because they couldn’t pick up on the time and date specified even though I left work early at my inconvenience!

There's a gate that's shut at night . Our car and house keys were locked inside . So no getting in our house . Sleep in the van . We weren't told about the gate . Van OK no problems.
