PLEASE READ PLEASE READ PLEASE READ ‼️‼️‼️ “Rented from them 4 times !!!! The first time it was an hassle they kept telling I need to verify my address since its different on my id an the one I gave them I told them I just move down here from Waco a month ago needed to update my id . I verify then they charge me a cleaning fee/ smoking 75.00 after dropping the car off which I verify before I drop it off didn’t understand that an I drop the car after hours. Second go around the same lady asking me verify it which should already been on file from last time then not only they wanted me to verify my address they were asking for paystub verify my employment what’s the same of my employment what does my paystub has to do with anything nor where I work at they where asking for my lease to my apt like it was very unprofessional and very unnecessary . Nothing do with renting a car But when I got their the dude help me out he was. An great employee . I brought the car back during business hours no fee was charge everything was great i didn’t have any problem. The third go around everything was fine the same dude help me out he was great didn’t have any problems or unnecessary fees they where charging . Everything went well this go around as well .This time the fourth time was very very very terrible the same lady from the first time check me 8’ she was very rude wasn’t personally at all didn’t walk me around the car to verify everything didn’t show me the inside nor the gas hand just ask for my payment method an that was . While she was doin that I did my self the customer did verify the car even though she didn’t as the employee. Long story short I brought the car 3 days later the last day the car was not droven the car was sitting for a day . Already cleaning an vacuum out . Didn’t have time to drop off during business hours due to work . Drop it off that night . The next day I received an email all my charges they charge me twice saying the car was smoky Smoky are serious !!! To remind you The car as sat for a day and has already been cleaned out and the window was let down a little They said when they got the car it was smoky ? Which doesn’t make any sense . They said since had the problem before they where going to charge me twice like that doesn’t make any sense at all . I ask to talk to the supervisor she was very rude . Long story they end up charging me once the dude had called me back 20 minutes later saying they where only gone charge once for saying it was smoky when they got into the car which the car was sitting for a day and was sitting at y’all office until y’all open the next day how does a car still be smoky .not once did they say it smelled it only looked But PLEASE PLEASE PEOPLE DO NOT RENT FROM THEM THEY WOULD CHARGE UNNECESSARY FEES THE LADYS ARE BAD / RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE THE MENS ARE PRETTY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE

Disappointing encounter. I picked up a truck (GMC Elevation) from enterprise in Dallas, due to my truck being stolen. Later, my insurance company picked up the tab, so I had to take the truck to an enterprise office in Austin (closer to my home) to get it transferred under my insurance. After hitting the road in Dallas, I noticed the truck had a delayed shifting going on in the transmission. At times, it was pretty scary on the interstate; accelerating and waiting for gear to catch in order to move the truck down the road. The gears are so delayed that when they do catch it feels like the back of the truck is lifting off of the road. So, when I arrived in Austin I informed the manager at the Austin Anderson Mill & Hwy. 183 store location of the issue. He took the truck around the block and when he returned he stated that was normal and his truck did the same thing. I’ve owned four trucks in my life, two of which were HD and that is not normal behavior for a truck, car, or any vehicle; there was definitely something wrong and unsafe. I’ve been with Enterprise for many years and during my 29 years of serving on active duty military and typically have nothing but great experiences. Since this is a safety concern, I wrote this review to assist in better decision making in the future by Enterprise for the safety of their customers. Unacceptable!

This location is one of the worst I have had to use. I rent nearly a hundred vehicles per year for work reasons, and despite any status I have, they never offer comp upgrades as I've been offered at dozens of other locations across the U.S. They've also tried to put me in a smaller vehicle than the class I reserved. I always reserve and need a full size or larger. Yet I've been offered a Toyota Corolla or similar sized options on multiple occasions, I have to remind them I booked a full size, and then I miraculously get a Camry or similar. I now make sure to ask if they have any upgrades available, and so far, every time they say yes but I decided against it when they tell me how much more per day it is. On a side note, I've been told by staff that "management" has restructured class sizes. So a vw jetta is now a full size, and a vw passat is a "luxury" or premium. Lol. So by that math, the corolla they offered was a full size and a Camry is a premium? How about a civic vs accord?.....I've also asked about availability, and I was told that they rent out a lot to body shop customers....and that made a lot of sense to me since those are typically longer rentals generating more revenue. Now I see the lack of customer service to non body shop customers with shorter term rentals.

Needed help from Enterprise Rent a Car this morning. Had a nail in rear passenger tire of the rental. Mary was the employee at 183 N who instructed me to call the location that I picked up the vehicle for assistance. I told her that I did and with tire pressure at 18 that I came to closest location near me. She said if she was able to get me into a replacement vehicle that she would be short with her reservations and instructed me to go to any tire center to have patched. Meanwhile, there was 8 - 10 cars available on the lot with not a single customer in the store. Was literally a ghost town at this location and she could have absolutely helped by at least displaying a little bit of customer service. Absolutely zero understanding and her attitude was cold, dry and simply not appreciated. I could understand if location didn’t have any vehicles available or if there was a line of customers out the door but that was simply not the case. Would have left a 5 star review even with getting the rental with less than a quarter tank of gas and dirty from previous customer, but Mary went out of her way to earn this poor review.

Usually all things renting from Enterprise are very good, unfortunately several things aligned to make my last rental not fun. 1. Despite reservations made 14 days earlier, the pickup location did not have my car. I could not wait the 45 minutes for one to arrive or would miss my meeting, so they sent me to another location to get a vehicle. This other location has no onsite day parking to leave my vehicle. 2. The attendant's note pad to check out and send me on my way took three different tries to accept my card. 3. Six hours of driving time in a vehicle will a very undesirable odor. 4. Less than a 1/4 tank of gas, which is usually no problem, but needing to fill tank for 3 hour drive caused me to arrive for my meeting only a couple minutes early.

I booked on my app as usual, this location called me 6 hours later and left a voicemail to say they had no cars available, however I went by the location and counted 9 cars, mini vans and suv's, in the lot duringmy pick up time. I live within walking distance. As a corporate enterprise/national account with executive status, I find this unacceptable. I can only speculate that this location did not want to give me a much larger vehicle for the smaller vehicle rate I had booked and since it was for only 1 day. Well it's the weekend and I will need a car all next week for work, I definitely will Not be coming to this location and I suggest no one do business at this location if possible.

I recently used Enterprise to rent a car and I have to say the experience was far easier than I had anticipated. This was my first time even renting a car and the people at this particular facility were very nice and accommodating. I was even able to upgrade to something more roomy and not pay a ton for the upgrade. Everyone was very nice and helpful and made sure I understood what I was being charged and what I was being charged for. I will definitely use Enterprise again and I appreciate the staff for making a difficult time much easier. I wish I could remember the names of the 2 staff members that helped me - they were amazing and very sweet people. Thank you again!

Rent a car here several times a month for business purposes. Often times slow to pick up, but today told there were no cars available. Made a reservation over one month in advance. Front desk told me “it’s your problem”. They offered that I wait until a car became available without an estimated wait time. They did not offer to help find me a vehicle at an alternate location. I had to pay same day rates at a competitor to get to where I needed to go on time which ended up costing me double. As a result, I would strongly advise against using this enterprise location and I plan to switch providers for my business due to lack of reliably available cars.

Scheduled to pick up a car today. The guy at the counter said they let someone get it because we were late and blamed lack of staff as to why they didn’t give us a call/email notice. Reference their system to a dr office. If you don’t make it on time then you miss your appointment. But dr office also give you a notice when booking also a follow up call to confirm or to let you know a confirmation was canceled.So that in my opinion wasn’t a good reference. Wouldn’t recommend this location. First time here and will be my last. Used enterprise for the past 6 years through out Austin and never had this problem before.

Came in for my rental reservation time. There was 1 guy working. Now he's nice and friendly but a little too friendly with the number of people waiting for a car. I can appreciate this niceness but the continous chatter made the wait longer. I also didn't need to know why he was the one working alone. Your coworkers private lives should remain private. Now he's chatting with the cleaning staff while 6 people wait for him to just get the cars. Oh and he's cleaning a car now. Friendly is good but come on prioritize. Good thing I picked up an hour early from my actual departure time.

The Staff working at this location are very pleasant to interact with and this location is convenient for me. There are other locations to choose from but I see no reason to switch. They usually have a selection/variety of vehicles. They will provide pick-up service and although there is a distance limitation I'm unaffected by it. Occasionally the time to pick-up can be lengthy but that's not typical. Call early if possible. Overall I'm pleased with the people, vehicles, and service I receive there and I highly recommend this location specifically and Enterprise overall.

Matt and another associate working on 5/20 were very helpful, attentive, and conversational. At closing time, there was a influx of customers, around 5 or 6 of us, with just the 2 of them working. They were communicative, reassuring, and never let the overwhelming customers get to them. I only had to switch vehicles and Matt was very good at helping me out, and went above and beyond when they both helped quickly clean and vacuum the vehicle, since it JUST got returned. If I ever need to get a rental again for any reason, I'll definitely be going to this location.

I absolutely had a great car rental experience with Enterprise just a couple of weeks ago. Excellent customer service! When I picked up the rental, Samantha was not only friendly, but she made me feel right at home. She was also very informative, and straight to the point. She provided me with an upgraded vehicle which was perfect for my needs; and it drove nicely! In return for that, I drove my rental with intention to use extra precaution, as if a really good friend allowed me to borrow her vehicle. Thank you Sam! Thank you Enterprise!

With short notice, I needed a rental car while my car was having repair work done on it. The team at Enterprise Rent-A-Car at 13207 N Hwy 183 in Austin was able to have a car ready for me. I also needed a ride and they were able to pick me up as quickly as they could. Picking up and dropping off the rental car went smoothly and unfortunately I did not catch the name of the people that helped me out but they both, and the driver that picked me up, displayed great customer service. Thanks for helping me out when I was in a jam!

Understaffed by undertrained people. Dirty. They don't have cars. They don't know what cars other locations have or even when other locations are open. They insist on asking very personal questions about the car accident that caused the rental even though the insurance rented the car. I just went through a traumatic experience and they callously demanded that I relive it right there at the counter and chided me for not showing up to drive again immediately after the accident while knowing that they didn't have a car for me

I confirmed my reservation in advance and was supposed to be picked up by Enterprise. The collision repair company brought me over because the shuttle never came. There was one guy working and 7 people waiting when I walked in. He took my license and told me he would be with me, walked out and nobody has come out for 25 min. Three more customers have come in and there is still nobody at the front desk. People have been waiting for over an hour and a half for a car. The phone is ringing off the hook. This is unacceptable.

I had nothing but great service at this Enterprise. I had a bad experience at my repair shop and actually had to go back to renew my rental the day after I returned the car the first time. The repair shop experience was hell but thankfully the people at Enterprise were friendly and helpful. Both times the cars were great, they gave me a ride to the shop and home, saving me taxi money, service was always fast and everyone was very friendly and professional. Thanks for making a experience so much better!

Great experience recently with my car rental at Enterprise. This wasn't my first rental, but really great service when I picked up the vehicle and during the return. On the pick up, I filled in the paperwork and had Enterprise drop off the vehicle at my wife's office just over 5 miles away. It saved me a trip. And on the return, they drove me back to my wife's office. I had planned on catching an Uber, both ways, but this saved me the time, trouble and expense. Can't beat the Service here!

There were 3-4 people standing around doing nothing while I was waiting for my car to be ”cleaned”, even though I’d called and reserved the car much earlier that day. The car to pick me up was 25 minutes late as well. The Cedar Park manager was in store and didn’t offer to talk, help, or inquire about much of anything as I waited there until after closing hours. A whole lot of chatting amongst workers as I sat there and continually got told “Just 5 more minutes…just 5 more minutes.”

Rented a car here and it was pretty beat up with scratches and dents etc but it was late in the day and didn't want to wait for another car. Damage was noted at pickup but when we return they are trying to charge us for damage noted previously but saying it is different. We asked for pics showing before and after and they don't seem to be able to produce those but refuse to credit us what they charged for damage. I was a loyal customer here for years but probably not anymore.

I was led to believe that I would only receive coverage for three days. I was scheduled to return my rental on Labor Day (3 days starting Friday) I dropped my rental off the afternoon before (Sunday) so I didn't have to make additional plans on the holiday to drop it off. Insurance was charged 5 days, as if I returned the rental on Tuesday, after Labor Day. Both the insurance and the body shop informed me to keep the rental until repairs are complete, after the fact.

I had a great experience while dropping the car off but checking in took longer than expected. It wasn't that fault of the gentleman assisting me; rather it was because I was renting using a debit card. You have to have additional documentation for that. I wish I had been notified of that when reserving the car - I would have been ready. I indicated how I'd be paying when I made the reservation. All in all, it was a small glitch and I really liked the car.

I appreciate the experience of a group of professionals taking care of the customers. The cars were very clean and ran well. My situation for a car rental was due to a situation at the repair shop. Enterprise was the company that handled the "loaner" with a special rate. I still pay for the rental and then my shop reimburses me. The only issue I had was the wait times on the phone during their busy times. Julius Ramos checked me in and was very efficient.

1 star. My car has been unavailable to me due to the recent hailstorm which caused it a lot of damage. Naturally that means body work and extensive repairs. I reserved a full size sedan through my insurance at this location, only to get there and be told that they only have a truck and minivan available. What's the point of the reservation then?? I don't know how this location is run but not honoring a reservation is ridiculous and poor customer service.

Don’t answer their phone ever. It goes to fax and then hangs up on me. Still haven’t received my $50 security deposit on the vehicle, which I was told I would get back when the vehicle was returned. That was over 5 days ago. Had a flat, staff said tired were fine, and the next day Tire was looked at by NTB who determined there was a nail in it. What type of business never answers their phones?! I would suggest a different location to use rental services.

Don't Trust these guys. I had booked an economy car and got confirmation. When I went to pick up, I was told that vehicle is not there and they can provide upgraded vehicle at a cost 4 times that I booked. Why do they allow customer to book if the vehicle is not available? if they don't have the vehicle book, they should have upgraded at the same cost. I had made plans based on that and had to cancel them due to this. I certainly don't recommend.

Don’t know what these other reviews are talking about but this is one of the best enterprise in Austin. Since Jacob is gone go see Ronnie and Chloe they are Superb. They took good care of me and answered questions and I left feeling and knowing that I was good. Now Chloe might have forgot to tell me that my deposit was included in the final price but she apologize and that was good enough for me. Thank you Ronnie and Chloe you guys are 5 star.

I always have a great experience leasing cars from Enterprise. Staff is always efficient and friendly; vehicles are always in top notch condition. Even last time I wanted to make a swap with the vehicle that was allotted for me with another one that was on the lot. Without any question or qualm my host got the preferred car ready for me and I was on my way. Enterprise has been my preferred leasing company for the at least the last 5 years.

For personal reasons, we rent cars frequently whenever we go out of town. Two weeks in advance I made a reservation. When I went to pick up the car...they just told me, if we get any cars it will be any time after 10am. After calling to different location. I called to the one on 183 next to iFLY... This is the second time I've rented from this location and it definitely won't be the last. The staff is courteous, friendly and professional. The cars are clean and have never given me any problems. Their rates are reasonable and they offer a rewards program for frequent renters, which I will be taking advantage of soon. In trying to locate the best rental of SUV desired looked at variety of sites... and the overall best value was with this Enterprise location. Their service went above and beyond in taking me to retrieve my driver's license from my home since I misplaced it before I tried to finalize my rental. This is one of the nicest location in Austin,TX area specially they have really hard working staff. I had booking through Cory Smith Branch Rental Manager, and my pickup time was 2 PM but since they were busy i only had to wait 5 min late. still they apologized me and to being generous they upgraded my car without any cost. I've had to rent from this office on at least two occasions when my car has been at the body shop and both experiences were great. They picked me up from the collision center, brought me back to their office, and filling out the paperwork was quick and easy. The cars I've gotten have been nice and clean. The staff are very friendly. Good location!

The reliability of expecting a call back when you're in dire need of a rental is non-existent. I contacted the branch and I was told I needed to be rerouted to the call center instead. Corey promised he'll call back but never did. When you tell a customer you'll get something done on their behalf and it turns out not to be true is disheartening.

We all know having a wreck and getting your car repaired already sucks and anything during this process can be a ray of sunshine or a dark pit of despair. Well fortunately for me this existing was great and although not worth having my truck hit, was definitely worth it. If I ever need a rental again I would go there without any hesitation.

I literally walked here without a reservation from a body shop where I had left my car and this crew took exceptionally good care of me .. I was in and out in under 20 minutes and the manager went as far as to follow up with me to help with my insurance claim. I really appreciate the extra steps they took to take care of a customer in need.

I've been waiting for a car for over an hour with a reservation getting skipped over and that's after getting picked up to drive 3/4 of the way just to get driven back to pick up more people. Enterprise - where maybe, possibly, after calling four times and waiting 45 minutes - we might “come pick you up” we “might have someone on the way in 10 minutes.” Maybe they were shortstaff’d - either way you might want to call an Uber or a Lyft instead of wasting your time. Enterprise: “we aren’t gonna come pick you up, ever.”

The employees are good but they can't handle the amount of business they have and be able to assist customers. I've been trying to switch out a car for something a bit less expensive for a week now but most every time I call no one answers and I get hung up on. Not being able to switch out my car essentially cost me $150.

I had a great experience at this Enterprise location. After calling the day before to ensure that the vehicle that I reserved would be available, I arrived to pick it up and it was not there. BUT they upgraded me to a better vehicle at the lower rate. The team was very polite and helpful in accommodating my request.

When I returned the car I forgot to top off the gas they pointed out how much the charge would be so I ran around the block to add gas and save money. I usually rent a car for around a month/30 days, Usually Enterprise allows/I was able to rewrite/renew the contract any where at their local locations after the 30th day mark. But this location forced me to come back to this place for the renewal If I wanted to rent the car for a 30 more days.
