Picking up the car at this location on Lomas was a breeze. Jasmine Stokes, Enterprise employee, was extremely friendly and got us in and out in no time. Great employee. She pointed out a couple small dings on the car and stated that small dings smaller than what her measuring tool specified, did not have to be documented. When we returned the car it was a completely different story. One employee there observed a ding on the car and quickly jumped to the conclusion that since it was not reported on the the contract that we were liable and had to pay for the repair (unfortunately I did not annotate his name). From what we recalled when we picked up the car, the small ding was acknowledged by Jasmine and stated that since it was smaller than what her measuring tool, it did not have to be noted on the contract. We kept insisting the little ding was there already, but the short fellow employee now got rude and kept insisting he was going to write it up, since not on the contract. Lucky for us, Jasmine was on the premises and came out to straighten it out. She again stated the ding was already there. At this time the Manager arrived from lunch. He was extremely helpful and apologetic for the misunderstanding. He then offered to discount the fee for the car rental. This is place is great but only because they have a great manager (did not record his name either). My suggestions to you is if you're picking up a car there, inspect thoroughly and document with pics and include, even the smallest of dings, in the contract. Otherwise, they may hold you responsible for something you innocent of. I sincerely hope that Jasmine (a trainee) did not get in trouble for overlooking the small ding and not recording. Had she not being there, this may have turned into a nightmare cause the fellow who found the ding was going to write us up. Recommend this place for two people working there...the Manager, and Jasmine. So if you visit this place, ask for Jasmine, she's great.
Customer service was good on the day I returned the car. The clerk that checked me in, however was less than helpful. When I inquired with her about the selection of cars she quickly informed me that I didn't have a choice in the selection I reserved. She stated in the affirmative we pick the car for you and proceeded to reiterate to me that I didn't have a choice. I was a bit taken back by this given the fact that I have rented from Enterprise for a number of years and I have always been asked my preference in the size that I reserved. Also when I am spending my money for a product usually the word " no choice " does not enter the equation. As it turned out apparently their selection was limited (which I understand), wondering why she did not simply state this from the beginning. . She left the desk for a bit, came back and informed that they actually did not have any full size cars and was giving me an upgrade. I am not convinced that was not true , especially since the reservation was made almost 3 months in advance. Never the less, I figured why complain after all I was getting an upgrade. Things seem to be going well at this point until I see the suv . it was a Jeep Compass, completely scratched on one side , and clearly not cleaned well on the inside . The clerk could tell and offered to take it back to clean some more inside however I was on a tight time schedule and just didn't have the extra minutes to wait around any longer. I also discovered later on that evening the SUV seemed to have some mechanical problems . it struggled to accelerate when getting onto the highway. I did mention all of this to the clerk when checking the suv back in. she was very courteous, did apologize for the less than expected service and offered me a 10% discount on my next rental. Normally I never write reviews however I am acustom to outstanding customer service from enterprise and well maintained vehichles. This was definitely a disappointing first for me.
I had my car fixed in one of the collision centers in town, and my car insurance provided me with a rental car through Enterprise. When the representative from enterprise came to the collision center to pick us up, he brought an SUV and told us that it would be the rental car they were giving us. He told us that they do not have any other vehicle for rent. That was the first of the few disappointments I have had with my rental because that was not the kind of vehicle I have requested. Secondly, when we were already driving the car, my family noticed that something smelled bad. The odor is disgusting, a mix of the smell of cigarettes and other foul odors. We suspect that it was not adequately cleaned before they had the car loaned. In fact, in the bottom of the cup holder underneath the Clorox sachet, I found a very piece of raisins that was already there. It was so dry that it looked like it had been there for quite some time. I do not know why they are even so proud of putting tags of assurance of cleanliness on compliance of Covid Pandemic when they did not thoroughly clean the car. Thirdly, the Apple Car play gets disconnected unpredictably from time to time while I am driving. The next day, Enterprise made a courtesy call and asked me if there was anything wrong with the rental car. So I told them the problems I have had so far. They apologized and said that they would replace the vehicle. I have rented it for two weeks already, but I did not get a call until my car was already fixed at the collision center. I will not be going back to this branch for my future car rental needs nor recommend them to friends. We should do our business somewhere else.
So many negatives about my rental experience here. Rented a car for ~6 hours to get around town while my car was in the shop. Picked this location as it was walking distance from the shop. Several red flags, but I needed a car for the day. Main reason I'm writing a review is because when I returned the vehicle, the guy checking me back in (same guy who rented me the car earlier) claimed damage/loss to the vehicle. Apparently a ~2 by 2 inch piece of plastic covering had come free of the front bumper (apparently a cosmetic sensor cover). So, when I returned the vehicle this guy was very accusatory towards me, asking what I hit. I hit nothing! I drove maybe 30 miles from my house to one other location, and back to the rental location. If I had hit anything, there would have been visible damage to the plastic bumper. Instead it was just the piece of plastic that was missing. He treated me like I was a child lying to him. Very unprofessional, and made me feel like I was some terrible person. Anyway, I just received the loss/damage form from a damage recovery company from enterprise. I looked up the part and it's about $10. I'm sure they're going to try to charge me some ridiculous price for this. Not my fault a piece of the car wasn't well secured and likely just flew of while I was driving, unknown to me. The vehicle also had almost 40K miles on it and was kind of dirty inside. Wasn't going to make a big deal of it, but add all these up, but mostly the treatment by the rental employee, made this a very sour experience. Find another rental company if you can.
Pros: wheelchair friendly location and customer service. I took advantage of the 9.99 rate over the weekend, and it was awesome. It was super busy on Saturday around 1:30 PM, they close at 2, and the pickup was really late, waited for about an hour. Once I got picked up, the driver was so good with putting my wheelchair in the car, and the long wait was not their fault. They just may be understaffed, and if you rent it's better to get there early especially on a Saturday. The driver was courteous and once we got to Enterprise, he grabbed the rep who took care of the paper work outside. That saved me one more step of assembling then disassembling the wheelchair again. I was to remain in the same car, as there were no cars available. As I mentioned, it was late and they were about to close. The car I had was an older Hyundai Sonata sedan, and I loved it. It had only 4 cylinder and wasn't the hatchback so a bit harder with the wheelchair. But I don't really care what I temporarily rent, especially at that rate, so was super happy. The car was spiffy and picked up speed quickly, despite its 38k miles and 4 cylinders. The Enterprise employees were all nice and courteous, and I'd rent from that location again. Upon return same thing, we took care of the paper work and someone drove me home in the same car. Yay to my local Enterprise!
We were referred because of the airbag recall of our Honda CRV. We selected to use a Chrysler Town & Country. However, after getting it home to our rural location, it would not start the next morning: Tow truck, and exchange for another T & C. The replacement vehicle developed a bad tire leak necessitating another trip to Enterprise where they decided to exchange it for another T&C! So we drove third one until getting our own car back. This last T&C had been "driven hard", but was adequate for our needs. In fact, we enjoyed driving the T&Cs, but exchanging them was a real chore: we live in a rural area about 25 miles east of Albuquerque. Long story short: staff at our rental location was professional and attentive, though harried because of rental demand. Vehicle maintenance was an issue--even the third and final vehicle had one of the overhead media drawers that would not latch, necessitating the use of duct tape to keep it secured. Finally, to avoid a hassle upon turning the vehicle in, we, at our own expense paid to have it washed and cleaned. So, our experience with Enterprise was not hassle free, and since we travel extensively by air during the year, and rent cars every time, it makes us hesitate to put ourselves in a position of having a breakdown when we are far from home. Thus, the less than maximum star rating.
Ahrizzia and Alex were superbly helpful, friendly, and efficient both on both sides of receiving the vehicle and the return. I highly recommend this location -- even though we had reservations for an economy vehicle, due to shortages, we ended up with a hybrid van which turned out to be an excellent choice with long driving days for our weeklong rental. My only wish is that this location had the ability to charge a hybrid in advance of pickup. Since it wasn't truly "tank full" as a hybrid with no charge on the battery, it meant we ended up spending more on gasoline... Felt a bit "cheated" on that regard, but the overall cleanliness of the vehicle, and the superb ease with which to extend the rental for another day and a half using the online app, overcame any sense of loss of value. The only difficulty we found was when we first went to fuel up, the previous renter had jammed the gas door such that it wouldn't open when pressing the fuel door open button -- fortunately called Alex first and got permission before a mechanic at a station was going to use a screwdriver to overcome the jammed latch... All in all, this Enterprise location is an A+++.
I made a reservation a few weeks in advance of when I wanted to go, planning the time that I needed to pick up my car so that it would work both with my schedule and avoiding late afternoon traffic. I called about 1.5 hours before I needed a pickup (because "We'll pick you up!" is one of Enterprise's bylines) and allowing for enough time for them to schedule a pick up.... this particular office has been medium to poor in its ability to handle picking me up closer to the time that I actually need the car. They said not right now but they'd get a car out in about a hour. 1.5 hours later I called to find out where they were and 12 minutes after that someone came to pick me up. But this screwed up my timing. The intern who picked me up knocked some $ off the rental, which was great, but I'd much prefer this office to figure out how to make pick-ups actually happen when they say it will happen. For whatever reason the office I dealt with doesn't seem to make personal pick-ups a priority, which is odd since it seems to be one of Enterprises selling points. I will probably not rent from this office anymore if I can help it.
3 stars for my experience because I was pretty disappointed. I made a reservation for a sedan, when I arrived they offered me a very small vehicle I have a baby that needs a car seat and stroller, was not going to fit I had to pay for a upgrade which I didn't mind at the time because I had a family emergency and just had to go, we did the vehicle inspection outside never the inside which never crossed my mind as I had so much going on sadly I didn't realize the car was filthy from inside until getting ready to head out I had to take time to clean the vehicle myself the steering wheel felt sticky which I wiped down immediately then I noticed while putting the car seat in, smudges of idk what on dash board and back of head rest, make up stains everywhere and red stains on carpet arm rest was sticky as if someone's spilled something it was overall gross so I will definitely be making sure I inspect the Inside as well I shouldn't have to clean the vehicle. I was compensated $20.00 which doesn't make it much better when it put me behind schedule but I took it. Customer service was good they apologized.
My first task once getting to ABQ was picking up the rental car. The driver who picked me up from the train station (Tony) was an absolute gem on this earth. Thank you Tony for sharing your NM knowledge with me (amongst other things) and for being a pleasure to talk to. The pleasant vibes didn't end with the shuttle; once I arrived to the rental spot the folk who were assisting me were quick, fun, friendly and even honored the car-upgrade code I plugged in at the start of my online reservation. I got to choose any FWD I wanted, and ended up with a mean, ready-for-the-scene four-door pickup truck. This thing was BAD. Shout-out to the Enterprise in Taos too for waiving our added-driver for the day fee. Ya'll rock so hard. It was my first time renting with enterprise and I have to say I'm never looking back or messing around with those other guys. Our Nissan made our trip to NM far more memorable as it was able to take us to some difficult to get to hot springs and areas we wouldn't have made it to with a front wheel. THANK YOU ENTERPRISE.
Beware! I should have trusted the reviews. I read many and about how jacked up Enterprize is at this location. I called for reservation a couple hours before. I even called on the way to make sure that they had my car. I arrived at appointment time and guess What? They did not have a car for me! Lmao. I made such a stink they gave me some othe poor guys car just to get me out of there. What I understood from this, it's not the location's fault, in my case, but their call center's continuity to schedule and deliver the cars. Whatever it is, their system us broken, period. I felt bad for standing firm to the guy at the counter. He was as frustrated as I was and it's his company who was giving him the shaft. I've used Enterprise for more than 20 years. I will not consider them and only as a last resort from this experience. Something is very wrong with Enterprise, in my opinion. I genuinely feel bad for the nice people who worked at this. Branch - good people doing the best they can with the hand they were dealt. Just Sad.
My wife and I rented a sub-compact for a two-week vacation. The staff was courteous and efficient; waiting time was minimal, despite the busy office. I wish I could rate the staff separately from the car: 5 for them, 3 for the vehicle. We were given a Chevy Sonic 4-door sedan. I'm small, and the seat could not be raised enough for my comfort, but it was tolerable. Visibility was blocked somewhat by the windshield pillar. The oil change sticker was 2000 miles overdue and the windshield washer fluid was empty. Otherwise the car was clean. The car's performance was a little on the weak side, slow in the mountains, but adequate for conservative driving; I don't do jack-rabbit starts nor last second braking. Fortunately, there was no instance when I needed acceleration to avoid a mishap or pass a slower vehicle--I was the one getting passed. And, it had an adequate trunk for our two large bags and two small bags, though the back seat was a little cramped for our friend who joined us for a couple of days.
We rented this car Not even 2hrs out of ABQ we had a blowout on the freeway, they told us to put the donut on and drive to the nearest Enterprise to switch cars, but we were about 1hr1/2 away from the nearest location and they were closing in 1hr, we ask them if they can call ahead and see if they can keep that location open longer to wait for us. the person from ABQ told it wasn't their problem and we would just have to hurry. (Very rude) we felt we'd be stranded. So we called the other location ourselves and they told us that they couldn't switch cars that they would never do that(against company policy)They sent us to a local tire shop to buy a new tire. The good thing is that Enterprise paid for the tire the bad thing is at Enterprise didn't tell them we were coming to change a tire so we had to wait for paperwork and approval when they could have done that while we were on our way. Took forever!!!!!! We were headed to Cali and got there extremely behind schedule.
Talk about amazing customer service, Cornell and Enterprise.. I see you!!! I had some issues with my inital rental car company and had to look for another vehicle the day before we had to leave for vacation. So, I reserved with Enterprise on San Mateo originally. Then that location worker called me back to tell me they had no more cars and couldn't honor the reservation or help me find a new location. So, I went to Google and found this location on Broadway. I called and got Cornell. He was SO AMAZING and so polite and told me to come down and he would take care of me. Mind you they were closing in in less than 30 mins. He gave me a great vehicle and a great deal. But best of all, he was a breath of fresh air with how kind and easy to work with he was. I would rate him a 1,000,000. They called me during my vacation to ensure all was going well and everyone I talked to at this location so was so professional and kind. Best car rental experience ever! Hands down!
I recently rented a car here for my visit to the balloon fiesta, and was very pleased with the service I received. Bruno picked me up from my hotel just before closing time and was extremely friendly. He let me choose between the last couple of cars they had available on the lot. I later realized the one I picked was blowing hot air when set to AC so he kindly placed me in the other car and offered free gas for the inconvenience. It was extremely generous of him. I enjoyed driving the car with all of its bells and whistles, and had absolutely no problems with it. I turned it in after a week, and Bruno, once again, kindly dropped me back off at my hotel. I didn’t get the names of the others who were there, but they were all very friendly. Good customer service goes a long way, and theirs definitely made a lasting impression on me. If I find myself in Albuquerque again, I will definitely be renting from them!
The staff at this location startled me when I showed up expecting to rent a Ford 12pass van and they said Ford had recalled all of these vans. But then they said don't worry we have a Mercedes Sprinter for you. It actually worked better for us due to the luggage space at the back of the van, and although it required diesel which is more expensive the mileage rate worked out better for us. The staff also called during our trip to be sure everything was OK, which I appreciated. One suggestion for staff is to explain about the (+) and (-) indicators on the gear shift....a shift to either side causes an unexpected change to how the van drives.... as it turned out I was able to move off the road quickly enough to avoid an accident, and one of my passengers figured out the issue so I could be careful after that.... but of course it would have been helpful to know in advance.
I am a pro enterprise consumer. having said that this experience was less than stellar. if my other experiences hadn't been of a 5 star rating I wouldn't have given this one 3. this was a last minute necessary rental at an over booked office, driver sent to pick me up was so late I had to have a co-worker drop me off. then they gave me a car with no cruise control and didn't even ask me what kind of car I wanted they just expected me to take what they gave me. the only reason I chose this office was because it was within walking distance of my office. I don't think I will rent from this office again with out first making the reservation on line. the first time I was at the office I felt like I was given the brush off. and then hurried out the second time. Customer service was not with a smile at all! this customer still isn't smiling when I think about the experience.
Rented a car in Albuquerque and decided to return to Phoenix Airport. Had trouble with communications with downtown Albuquerque office. China put me on hold while she checked something. Someone else eventually picked up and asked if he could help. I said China was dealing with me and he had picked up wrong line. China apparently assumed someone else had serviced me. I ended up talking with three other people as I called in again. Eventually I was reconnected with China who apologized for the confusion and completed my request. I encouraged her to improve the phone service. Other than that everything else was wonderful as I am accustomed to expecting. Although I was angry and frustrated, China took my criticism professionally and I am satisfied. I will continue to rent with Enterprise as I have for many years.
We chose the Enterprise location because we arrived at Albuquerque by train, and Enterprise would pick us up at the station. We were treated very well indeed by Kristen, the employee who picked us up and saw to it that we got a vehicle that suited us. She intended to upgrade us, but when it became clear that the upgrade would not accommodate our luggage, she soon found us another vehicle that would. The vehicle proved capable and reliable all during our rental, including snow in northern New Mexico. When we returned to Albuquerque in the face of blizzard warnings (that did not come true), Anthony patiently answered our questions about the best approach to turning in the vehicle. We found the Lomas Blvd location to be staffed by cheerful, helpful employees who made our rental a pleasure.
The branch manger Lane at this location is not personable and does not belong in a customer service role. I was severely inconvenienced by an Enterprise policy regarding running a declined credit card. The security department at my bank flagged the transaction and the current Enterprise policy caused me to not be able to rent with that card. I had to go thru quite a bit to make sure another card would work for the rental. The branch manager Lane was not empathetic to the situation at all. I was told that there was nothing he could do to better the customer service experience after the major inconvenience this policy caused. I have been renting from Enterprise for over 20 years and this will be the last time! The way I was treated is completely unacceptable.
Today I was not impressed with this location. I drove off with my rental and was contacted by an associate 5 minutes later about my actual car being parked on their lot. I was informed I’m not allowed to park on that lot and that I should consider parking across the street where your car can possibly be towed. It would have been courteous for an associate to mention this prior to me leaving. Also, I was not informed of this policy when I made the reservation nor do I see it stated on my email. When I did come back I did notice a small sign regarding this policy but Enterprise should certainly do a better job of informing their customers about this. This was a huge inconvenience and I will no longer prioritize renting from this location again.
Good from start to finish. Really friendly staff, easy to find location ($10.50 by Uber from airport) that's right near all the business, hotels, and sights of Albuquerque. They didn't have the Corolla we hoped for, but the Ford Fiesta was a hybrid, barely used any gas although we drove all over northern New Mexico. Easy to check out, easy to check back in. A hybrid is great fun, but the batteries eat up half of the luggage space, so check that your luggage fits. A _little_ complaint...The windows were washed / wiped less than they should have, inside and out, so we had a lot of glare when driving toward the sun, plus the wipers streaked. This is a problem in these hot, dry climes, I know, but it's easy to check and fix.
I was not picked up at the time I was told. The wait was an additional 30 minutes. When we got to the outlet, I was told there wasn't a car for me! I'm not sure what the point of reservations are if you don't have cars to rent?? After about a 40 minute wait, they came up with a mini van in place of the small car I had requested, which was fine. The staff was great - very friendly and trying hard to please all the customers waiting for non existent cars. My only complaint is the process wasted over an hour of my time which was annoying. I have rented from this location quite a few times and will again because I come in on the train and this location is very convenient. I just hope next time they are a bit more organized.
I have had the unfortunate experience of 2 car wrecks, which resulted in my requiring long term substitute transportation, over 3 months. Price was A+, customer service..at this location, cannot be beat A+++, patience, going over and above A+++++, reliability A +++++. Three months is long term for temporary transportation, but they made it painless. Gratitude for helping my experience ..I have utilized this enterprise for over 11 years. Management at the LOMAS. downtown location is a leader in professional enterprises. (Yes, I have experience with many, and various rental agencies, so this is a competitive experience response). They constantly elevate their customer experience. Thank you
I had a great experience renting a car for the 3rd or 4th time this year from enterprise however I had a little problem upon returning. In the past if you return the car after closing they had a drop box for the keys. This time they had no drop box and the letter explaining was behind the very tinted window of the building. So I left the car in front of the building and took the keys home and the next morning enterprise called saying if we didn't return keys immediately I would be charged for another day. My husband was planning on returning keys on his way to work but had to leave much earlier due to their threat. All of this could've been resolved if the drop box had been available.
As usual they didn’t have a car available at the time of reservation. After an hour wait they offer me a pickup truck instead of the full size car a reserved. I needed to get on the road so I take the pickup because I no other option. After the long journey of trying to keep my cargo out of the rain I end up spending over $100 more on gasoline than I would have if the full size car that I reserved had been available. There are reasons why we make plans like reserve rental cars ahead of time for important long trips. More often than not the rental location I use does not have anything available in the class size of the car reserved. Major flaw in the way this company does business,
Was given a car that overheated, they worked with me but I still was disappointed with the hassle I had. Wanted me to drive across town to get another vehicle. I ended up just returning the car to them and using a relatives car until mine got fixed. I recommend not getting the extra damage protection, your insurance will cover that. I got it for one day and was charged for three days of it. Had to get that straightened out. They do work with you and try to help but I hope to have to not rent a vehicle in the future but if I do I know what not to get the damage fee. Being a single mom its not that easy to just go get another car and not use the rental.
I had to rent a truck while mine was being repaired from a collision. The people here are great and so helpful. Only had one issue, the truck I rented developed a crack in the windshield which just appeared one day after shutting the door. I'm assuming it had a chip previously and it spread with the temperature and the pressure of me shutting the door. I didn't think much but when I returned it the charged me $250 for a windshield! So remember if you rent a vehicle from them when you do the walk through make sure you look REALLY GOOD at the windshield for any rock chip or cracks and have them note it or else they will hold you accountable.
Enterprise is our "go-to" car rental agency when we travel. However, our experience in Albuquerque in early April was one of the worst we've had. The people at the agency were fine, but the car was a mess. It was dirty inside with stains on the upholstery and ceiling, there was sticker residue across all the door openings, and there were scratches and small dents all over the dirty exterior. When it rained the windshield wipers were so worn they were useless. It felt like I was borrowing a college student's car. We'll probably continue to use Enterprise. But, if we're offered another car like this one, we'll start looking elsewhere.
Terrible staff at Lomas location. My husbands flight was delayed 30 mins and I called them and spoke with location and was told no problem. Called a second time to let them know he was in Uber a few minutes away. Once again, “thanks. We will be waiting for him”. When he got there they said they had no cars. I spoke with them and was told I was probably speaking to someone from another country. Horrible lie. It was definitely the location. He said he was sorry, they will call him if they get a car. Was extremely indifferent to me. Will never rent from this Enterprise location again. Wasted our time and money. Unacceptable.
5 Stars! always! I have rented from many Enterprise's and this one is the best by far! Anytime i have a problem they are quick to fix it and i know i will never have an issue with getting my car or returning it! sometimes it does take awhile to get your car but that is a given when you rent off of the airport to be honest. So if your in a tight schedule, try and rent ahead of time. The workers there are so nice and chill! I also love how they drop you off where you need or pick you up too! I really can't say anything bad about them because they always make up for it with awesome people and cars!
This location was fantastic! We were flying in but renting from here instead of the airport saved us hundreds of dollars so we did it. We had reserved a large SUV and needed at least 6 seats so we were a tad concerned about getting the vehicle we had reserved, but they had the Tahoe there ready to go first thing Saturday morning. They were also kind enough to drop us off at the airport for our flight home which was great since we had car seats already buckled in and kids and luggage loaded. Everyone was friendly and wonderful to work with and had great communication leading up to the rental.
Rented here because the airport was sold out. Checkout was fast and courteous. Return was just as easy but we were surprised when they offered us a ride to the airport. To top it off . . . my wife realized she had left her iPad in the car just as the young lady dropped us off at the curb at the airport. We called the office, they called their employee in our rental car, and within 10 minutes she was back at the airport to save the day! We flew into and out of the airport and thought that renting offsite would be inconvenient but the outstanding customer service made it a great experience.
I believe the manager is Brittany for this location. Whoever it is I love your location and your team. You all have been there for me through holiday, situations, work situations, personal situations, or any last minute needs. Everyone here seems like they genuinely enjoy their job and are proud of this location. If you as customers find other locations or car rental places a few dollars less than this one pay the extra money for the customer service, courtesy, and respect that this location alone gives you. Thank you so much to the Lomas team I will always be renting with you. GO TEAM!!
I rented a car offsite from the airport in downtown Albuquerque. The experience was fantastic. The personnel were friendly and helpful about the car - As well as provided great ideas about local places To eat that I would not have found on my own. The car it’s self was clean and had great gas mileage. I did have a problem with the key fob battery, but it was managed well and efficiently by the national enterprise organization and also supported by this local enterprise franchise. I would definitely do business with this company again, and would recommend them to my friends and family
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good quality car rental company? I have always used Enterprise and lately, they have been absolutely terrible. In OR, I was 6 miles away and it took 3 phone calls and 2 hours later to come pick me up. Each time they said the driver was on his way or just left. A couple days ago in Albuquerque, I dropped the car off after hours, on the weekend, on the day i was to drop it off, and they charged me an extra day. I have some that before and they have always said, as long as it is there when they open the doors, it's good. They are getting terrible.
Do yourself a favor and do not use the Lomas location. I've rented here three times in the past 6 weeks. First time, they had to drive me to a different location because they didn't have a car after I made the reservation well in advance (wasted an hour). The second time, I waited in the lobby for nearly an hour for another car to be returned dirty. The final time, I called ahead to make sure my reservation was ready, and they said they gave my car away due to it being 30 minutes after my scheduled reservation time. I gave them the opportunity to make it right and they chose not to.
We had a great experience with this Enterprise location. Marcus, in particular, made it the most enjoyable rental experience we've ever had! We had a very clean and well maintained car waiting for us. The customer service was patient with our many questions and last-minute changes. And they made the process fun and enjoyable. The free pickup and drop-off was also extremely helpful. My only complaints are that they would not drop-off at the airport, because there is another Enterprise location on-site. The number of emails and phone calls can also be a little frustrating.
I had booked ahead of time and when we arrived, the girl checking us in tried to upsell with bigger car and gas program. I stated that I just wanted what I had agreed to but charges stayed higher. I called the Enterprise main number the following morning and was told to call the Lomas Blvd. no. back and get extra charges dropped. I have not seen my statement to see if this has happened. I was told I would get a call from someone in management to apologize but this has not yet happened. We rented from 3 different Enterprise offices on our trip and was very happy overall.
I was not told that when one accepts the fuel service option it costs $32.16, only that "gas is cheaper with Enterprise than on the street". Actually that statement was not true as one could buy gas on a Native American Reservation in NM cheaper than $2.60 The fuel service option is a ripoff. Don't take it. After a vigorous complaint I was promised that the charge would be reversed. The vehicle was fine and the service at the point of return was excellent as I had to deal with four pieces luggage, and a rollator, as well as unload a mobility scooter from the vehicle..
I usually receive very good customer service from Enterprise. This time was a disappointment. I reserved a full size car for a family vacation. I was given the option of a tiny SUV, or a truck. You'd think a SUV would have good trunk space, but not this one. I needed lots of trunk space for our luggage, so these were bad options. I had to go to the airport Enterprise location to swap the SUV for the type of car I reserved. That's four stressful hours I won't get back. I added a third star to the rating because of past good customer service experiences.
Great experience. Both at pick up and drop off the employees were really friendly and made the rental experience super great and easy and not to mention quick. The vehicle I rented was a great vehicle. It served it's purpose fully for what it was needed for. Great prices as well. They were the most inexpensive than other rental companies. Will definitely rent from them again! Only downfall is I wish they were open on the weekend. I had to keep the vehicle until Monday when they opened back up again. Other than that, A+++ transaction
Very disappointed in service from the manager. At least one person has been willing to help in my 2 day fiasco getting a rental here and the manager is too busy looking at cars to buy for herself, rather than take initiative. I hope I never have to deal with this place again. **Update: 2 other associates stepped in, apologized, and asked appropriate questions to get the ball going. Increased star rating to 3 for their efforts. Essentially, I just wanted to know the issue was acknowledged and something was being done about it.
Not even halfway through my trip driving from ABQ to Idaho with my 12 yr old granddaughter, the "Change oil" and the "Warning light" also alert me the tires or tire is bad; both stayed on the duration of my trip. I was very concerned about the engine blowing up driving the mountains terrain in Colorado and Utah and Idaho concerned about a blow out as well !! A person should not have to worry about a rental breaking down I paid nearly 700.00 dollars!! I'm not a happy customer, it was a bad situation to put me through!!
Very rude I am stuck 35 miles away from home have the money and insurance claim to get vehicle and they are telling me I Have to wait till 8 tonight to get my vehicle this is ridiculous I already came last night and card fid not go through so wad denied veichlr these men are being very rude don't want to rent me a vehicle just because they ran my card last night I just thing they are being sexist and they need to learn customer care they won't even try to help me. What is wrong with these men don't they have morals
Excellent service all around, from making my reservation, picking up the vehicle, to the ride home after returning the vehicle, and everything in between. I arrived toward the end of a busy Saturday and observed first hand that the Assistant Manager of the location I used is a gem in the industry. She is professional, kind and accommodating. The Assistant Manager never lost her composure when faced with guests that are rude and beligerent. I commend her and the entire Enterprise team for beyond excellent service!
The people working at the counter at my local Enterprise on Lomas are always so friendly and helpful. It is due to their care and excellent service that I am a loyal customer. For example, upon returning from a trip with my husband and father, I mentioned that next time I would rent a bigger car because my father was squished in the back seat. Without my requesting it, the person checking me in gave me a discount on my rental. I really appreciate these personal touches and is why I will keep going back to them.
Good car, great prices. Overall good experience and excellent follow through when I expressed a concern. The passenger seat did not move and was stuck far back. I was not informed of it when I drove away and they were unaware apparently. My passengers were cramped. When I reported the issue, they were super helpful and gave me a good discount for my difficulty. If you are renting, make sure you check the seats too as that apparently is not typically inspected on the walkaround. Otherwise a good experience.
Off-airport rentals from Enterprise have been amazing for me, and this downtown ABQ location was just as awesome. I got the perfect vehicle for what I needed, the extended hours (Sunday) allowed me time to spend with extended family, some of whom I had not seen in over 30 years. They were training a newbie when I picked up the vehicle, but the experience was still quick, friendly, and seemless. I feel like I got a great weekend deal. I would (and probably will) return to this location without hesitation.
This branch provides very impressive customer service! Their staff is kind, courteous, professional, and seemingly understands the stress of having to get one's vehicle repaired after a collision. They offer a free pick-up service and they upgraded my rental for free since they were out of compact cars. The rental itself was well-maintained and clean. In the entire vehicle repair process, Enterprise was definitely the easiest, most pleasant part. I will return to this location and highly recommend them.
The staff at enterprise were great. They picked us up from the train station. There were quit a few folks renting cars when we came in but they were able to get us an upgraded car. The previous renters smoked in the car and it was gross. So we took it back and jouilo and Lacey helped us out giving us another upgrade to a town and country minivan which was awesome. They even gave us some suggested places to go see on our vacation. Top notch friendly staff how know what customer service is suppose to be.
Yup, they sent me one of those incredibly annoying post-purchase surveys, but I'm filling it out because this really is the best car rental company out there. The service was terrific- friendly, informative, cost-effective- and renting at a non-airport location saved us more than the full week's rental cost. There even was a cab waiting there to take us to the airport when we dropped it off (only $15). The free upgrade to a Dodge Charger was icing on the cake. Thanks, fellas!
This place was great! The people there are so helpful and nice, I would and will be using them whenever I am in New Mexico. Chinna was perfect! She really is just a super nice and helpful person. I think she is the supervisor there and she most certainly deserves that position! She knows her stuff and the office is run like a clock - and the atmosphere in the office is so friendly you can tell that she cares about the customer but also the people who work there!!!!
This location never seems to have it together. I have rented here several times in the last year and not gotten the car I reserved. They are always out of cars, so you wait, and as they trickle in, you are offered what they have. It seems to be very poor management from somewhere off site. The employees here are lovely. Very polite and, unfortunately for them, always appropriately apologetic. The vehicles are always in decent condition, too, just not what you want.
Excellent service! Super polite and helpful! They recommended the perfect car for me and my friend's road trip. The lady who picked us up from our house was funny and engaging in conversation, not awkward at all. I really got the feeling that these dudes valued me as a customer, they didn't view me as walking dollar signs :) I will deffinately refer people I know as well as return myself!! It's to bad I can only give 5 stars, these guys deserve a 10!!
I came from a frustrated experience from another Enterprise 5 minutes away on lomas, they were on the phone back and forth with my warranty company getting all of the required information, we were there for about 40 minutes but the employees were very nice , patient and friendly and were able to get done what the other Enterprise employee said he couldn't do at the other location. Great job to the manager and employee who helped us on Saturday aug4.
Wonderful Enterprise! Probably the best one I have ever been to. The staff was very busy, but they were all very kind and welcoming to my father and I. We went in to get a rental sedan, and we came out with one, just like that. The sales people are interactive with their customers, and you can tell they are good at their jobs. I look forward to renting from this Enterprise location for the foreseeable future. Thank you for all your help Enterprise!
The staff was excellent on making sure we were well taking care of. We, unfortunately, had our car break down on the last day we planned on having the rental. Desire was very helpful and extended our rental. Upon returning the truck for a economy car, Angie was very helpful as well. Even though we didn't manage a car, they made sure the rental rate for the truck was adjusted. We greatly appreciate the excellent customer service!
What a wonderful experience it has been working with this enterprise location! They have fantastic customer service. We have been coming to NM for over 10 years and usually use the enterprise airport from the shuttle. Well we decided on something new and it has been the best. Brittney went above and beyond in all cases. She was so helpful, kind, and went above and beyond her job to ensure we had the best trip. Thank you!
I didn't really know whether I should go with them or not, given the somewhat checkered review history, but they were the only place within walking distance of the train so I was stuck for better or worse. Thankfully it was only the great reviews that were correct! This place is awesome... in and out in a few minutes, they offered to pick me up (I preferred to walk), and just the nicest set of employees who truly care.
The two Zach's, Chase and Alease at this location are absolutely amazing! I fly to Albuquerque often to visit family and literally grab a taxi to this location instead of renting at the airport because the customer service and kindness is superior. I once had a problem and it was taken care of quickly and kindly. It's great to be an appreciated customer that's rarely seen it today's customer service climate.
I would give 0 stars if possible. I rented a car from another location and paid for roadside. They advised me to switch the car out at this location per our contract. It was emailed to this location and when I called and spoke to RIZZY she was rude and hateful. She refused to honor the signed contract and switch out the vehicle. I will also br filing a corporate complaint with the recorded call against her.
Prompt pickup at Amtrak Station, friendly and efficient check-in, no high pressure sales of insurance options, a nice free upgrade on the vehicle reserved, prompt and efficient check-in upon return, and a friendly drop off back at the Amtrak Station. No complaints or concerns with this Enterprise location, decent pricing and an extremely friendly and efficient staff. I would not hesitate to rent here again.
I've rented from this location for five years, first as an AMTRAK rider visiting town, more recently as a resident, when my car is in the shop, or I just wanted something different to drive. I never got the car I want, and what I do get always has some problem. Most of the cars reek of cigarettes, and half-hearted washing doesn't remove the smoke from the windows. You're better off going to the airport.
Had a reservation two weeks before pick up. The staff called the day before to verify I was still going to pick up my rental. Arrived later than expected due to a flight delay and found out they didn't have my rental car available, but they were getting cars shipped over to meet the demand. Waited about 30 minutes before our car was ready. Everyone was courteous and did their best to accommodate.
We reserved a compact SUV way ahead of time at half the price of a normal rental and we're concerned that it would not be big enough since my husband was still using a wheelchair at the time. To upgrade would have cost us over $300. When we arrived to pick up our vehicle, the employee saw our predictament and rented us a Grand Caravan at no extra charge. We had a great trip with plenty of space.
The location at 120 Lomas did a really good job of finding me a vehicle at a time when Supply is so short and vehicles are hard to find and hard to come by. They set an example for the other Enterprise locations on how to go the extra mile to help people and they set a very high standard for their customer service. I want to thank Alex and Matthew and the rest of the team for all of their help.
I had to leave the car before they opened on a Sunday morning. Somehow the car got locked with the keys inside. The management and his team were very helpful, understanding and even waived the locksmith fee. They just made a long-term customer an even longer-term customer. They were as good as their phone message - "We treat our customers the way they should be treated." Thanks Enterprise!
We needed a van, we got a van. The customer service was efficient and friendly as always. I gave this particular experience 4 stars and not 5 because when the van was given to me, it was still dirty inside. There was trash from the previous renter which we had to clean out. When I returned the van, it was so much cleaner than when I got it. I will, however, rent again from this place. :o)
I have rented from this location several times and the experience has always been extremely pleasant. From extending my rental, to a refferal to the sales department and a vehicle exchange it has been a smooth and most importantly friendly and transparent. Aj and Kirsten are prompt, attentive and accommodating. I would recommend this company for rentals and to buy a car. Thank you !
Great service from the team, especially James, at Enterprise in Albuquerque. They ran out of the model I reserved and upgraded me to a much nicer vehicle. Since we were driving 300 miles to another destination, it was so appreciated. And then, when we left a phone in the car, staff quickly located it and shipped it to us at no charge. That builds customer loyalty with 5 starts!
I was was having to deal with my car being stolen. That is why I needed a rental. I worked with Beto and Norman for my rental. They were the best! I had my rental for about two weeks. Every time I had to extend my rental they were so fast and so helpful. Always showing patience and compassion. Enterprise on Lomas is a great place to meet your rental needs. Thanks guys.
There were no cars available at the Albuquerque airport so I had to take a cab to a very close (10 minute) off- site to pick up my rental. The service was excellent and very fast. The car was the size I was looking for and Covid 19 cleaned and safe. I also knew when I made my reservation I would have to go to an offsite.Otherwise I would give 5 stars. Otherwise I would
I like renting from Enterprise and I have been using them for over 10 years. I like their free pickup, good pricing, and friendly honest service. This particular location in Albuquerque on Lomas Ave takes the high level , even higher. I found the friendliness and customer focus to be the kind of thing that any company can learn to aspire to. Truly role-model worthy!
I found the staff to be genuinely friendly - something that's hard to fake. My rental period was a few hours past the 24-hour mark but they kindly only charged me for a 1-day rental. Also, I returned the car on a Sunday evening and a tram ride was not available so they just let me drop off the car at the airport; way easier and cheaper than getting a cab. Thank you!
Service was great. Car was beat up. Kinks, scratches and dings all over, seats were dirty (uncleanable) like a rowdy family rented it and spilled stuff all over and left the seats stained. I'm accustomed to "new" rental cars from Enterprise, but this was a car only worthy of a cheap discount rental, not worthy of Enterprise. Only bad experience ever from Enterprise.
Our associate helped us quickly and was very friendly. The car was great and we drove it a LOT; having unlimited miles was fantastic. We even got a ride to the train station when we dropped it off in Chicago, which was really amazing! We could have walked it, but we were exhausted, so having the unexpected free ride was really nice. I'll use Enterprise again!
The guys here were so nice and just so friendly. I was unable to get a rental at the airport so I had to go off site. On the day of my departure they dropped me off at the airport which was incredibly helpful! I was in Albuquerque on business and will be back next month. Even if the airport has rental cars, I will likely rent from this location again.
In a day of declining service I was stunned at the level of personal service received here. First a real person called to check that my reservation was correct, and in fact I had made an error They were happy to change the reservation with no charge. Upon return Desiree very kindly dropped me off at the train station. No more airport rentals for me!
I needed an SUV so I could see the road and enterprise was great about making sure I got one. I was picked up immediately after I dropped off my car to be repaired. There was no wait when I brought the car back and they drove me to pick up my repaired auto. It’s also very convenient as far as location. Enterprise is my favorite car rental agency
The Entire staff was very helpful and friendly, and this was on July 4th weekend, their busiest! I had special needs because my son was in the local hospital and they went above and beyond when it comes to service! I can't say enough good about them. Come and rent your car here! avoid the pressure of the airport and get one on one service. Jess
Picked and return our car from the Albuquerque downtown location with no problem. Service was was fast even on a Saturday. Staff was kind enough to drive us to our desired location after dropping off the car. Rental car prices are quite how at the moment but Enterprise was a little less expensive compared to others that I could find.
We received the best and most caring service ever. Our son was killed in Santa Fe and we had to rent and drive a large car from New Mexico to California. The Manager Chinna Smith showed great compassion dealing with us and made sure we were taken care of within our budget (we even received an upgrade). Christina was a great help too.
Cameron at the location of 120 Lomas was the best. If I could give them 10 star rating I would. He has great customer service skills. Actually all of the people there did we just spoke with Cameron the most. We needed last minute reservation and they helped us. We were comfortable. Good job. Will definitely use them again.
I try to use Enterprise whenever I need a rental car. Why? Because the experience is always a good one. ALWAYS. Customer Service is not an empty term like it is almost universally now. The Albuquerque team is no exception. They appreciate you. They're professional. They're engaged. I just can't say enough in their praise.
My parents (early 70s) made arrangements for a higher tier car a couple weeks in advance to pick up at noon the day they needed it. We got call on the pick up day saying nothing available till 5 pm. Then at 5, after missing planned events they were forced into a smaller and cheaper spec car and charged the same.
We rented a mid-size car from here for a few days. Their rates were much cheaper than at the airport, which was excellent. The representatives were very friendly and helpful. They let us drop the vehicle off at the airport and removed the drop fee, which saved us some time. Overall, we had a great experience!
Everyone we contacted was polite and professional. When a yellow and black Mustang convertible was in the parking lot we swooned because I had a 1965 model in my single days. The staff worked with us to provide a 'bargain' so we could enjoy reminiscing about our younger years as we enjoyed our NM vacation.
We rented a Ford Flex for 2+ weeks. The car was in good order and serviced us well for our entire trip visiting National Parks out west. The Enterprise staff personnel at both our pick-up in Albuquerque, NM and drop off at Denver Airport were all cordial and knowledgeable. We had a very good experience.
Enterprise on Lomas and Broadway always have wonderful customer service. Each and every employee that works there is always friendly. I've never had any problems. I don't live close to this location but I will drive here just because I always get treated great. Keep up the wonderful customer service!!
Downtown Albuquerque Enterprise was perfect in their professionalism and conduct during the Pandemic. They were courteous, and expedient in pickup, drop off and even changing my rental car due to the cig fragrance that i did not appreciate. thank you enterprise staff. You came through again.
I don't know how it could have been better unless they did it for free. The staff was super from top to bottom. They understood what we wanted and gave it to us. The away-from-airport location was excellent for our purposes: get the car and head out of town as quickly and easily as possible.
I will never rent another vehicle from Enterprise. The truck had a major mechanical issue and was dirty. I explained to them the situation and they didn't seem to care. A 2019 shouldn't have a check engine light come on. No value for your money. Would have been better off renting a UHAUL.
Outstanding customer service! I reserved a large SUV about 30 days in advance, and the vehicle was provided as requested. The customer service was efficient, professional and friendly. I will definitely use Enterprise Rent-A-Car in the future. Thank you for making our trip so pleasant!
Had a great Nissan Rogue platinum. Loved it. Austin Depuy, Brandon Patrino, Jake Howell, and Joshua Bray at this location, were all super helpful. I had a couple of extensions and a low key fob battery during my rental and they were great with everything. Thanks guys! ✌ …
I am a current Employee. I use my Family discount for my mother in law quite often. I appreciate the way this location treats her. Always very effective, and helpful. She is always so excited about the new cars she is able to rent with great quality and cleanliness. Thank you!
We have been using the Albuquerque site for several years when taking Amtrak out for NM vacations. This is one of the most helpful anf friendliest car rentals I have ever used. Uber convenient with pickup service at the Amtrak depot. Clean reliable cars. Highly recommend.
Had an issue with being picked up. They made up for it with an outstanding Upgrade. From Mid Size to Luxury Sports Car. Thanks for seeing an upset customer and going the extra mile to help make it right. Remember there is no traffic jam on going the extra mile. P-)
Great quick service on the day we picked it up. It was a bonus to be asked if we wanted an upgrade to a van. It was the same price. Also, a day or 2 into our vacation, the manager called to ask how things were going. What a wonderful customer service.
Scooter (Alex) was amazing he had us in and out when we went in to pick up the vehicle. And Steven worked with us on a small issue we ran into and took care of it right away. Enterprise will be our first choice when renting a vehicle in the future.
