Initially scheduling the consultation was a bit of a headache, but things went smoothly after that. I wish I had known that the whole inspection/sales pitch/paperwork part was going to take such a long time, I would have scheduled it earlier in the day. I know we bought a high quality product, but it was certainly more expensive than I was expecting. The installers were prompt and professional, got the job done in a single day, even with some unpleasant weather slowing them down. They cleaned up thoroughly, I have only found a few pieces of debris and nails in the days after installation. EDIT: Reducing my review to 3 stars. The local team was a breeze to work with, but the follow-up from the corporate office has been less than stellar. When originally signing our contract, we were promised a prepaid gift card, to be furnished a couple of weeks after our final phone audit (follow-up survey). They didn't have any problem contacting me multiple times, asking for us to post reviews to Google and the BBB, but when I called about the gift card, I got no response. The guy that hounded me about reviews never returned my voicemails, even to tell me that he couldn't help. After calling 3 different numbers, explaining my issue, and being transferred multiple times, I finally spoke to someone who apologized for the issue. I finally received a check for the amount the gift card was supposed to be, which was made out to the wrong name. I'm glad this is finally resolved, but I'm hoping I don't ever need to contact them about a warranty issue!

Scheduled a consultation as a result of Facebook campaign. Went in desiring a tin roof style, but their version of a "metal roof" was something completely different. What they did offer was a roofing system that would last us longer than anything we'd install ourselves. Patrick was thorough in his assessment and sold us into a solution that both we and he felt was appropriate for our house situation. Then nothing for two weeks. We had to call the home office twice asking for an estimated install date. The first time we called on a Friday, we were assured that we would receive contact regarding an installation window. We then called again on the following Wednesday when a pallet of material was dropped off in our driveway; Saturday installation it is. It's not like we had any weekend plans #thankscovid but we still would have appreciated some sort of timeline. Installation day rolls around. The foreman greeted me, let me know this would be an all day job, and gave me his contact information as he was going back and forth throughout the day. Workers couldn't have been more polite and efficient. Quality check and magnetized cleanup all happened before any sign-offs occurred. I have yet to find a nail or roof scrap since the installation. Salesman wasn't pushy, all interactions were professional and courteous, the installers knew what to do and did it well. The only reason this wasn't five stars was due to the communication breakdown in the middle of the process. I would do business with Erie again should a need arise.

We own a home built in 1907. We had a few inspections and estimates on the need to replace and cost, etc. Erie came out as another estimate option. They were everything a home owner of any sort would like to have on their team. Especially a home as old as ours. It is hard to find a company these days that understands the terrors of home improvement with these homes. Not only were the two experts that came out polite, fun, and patient; they were honest and so informative. Extremely transparent. We had quotes that were astronomically different in cost and process. Not a single one of them actually talked us through the why behind each dollar and each part of the process for our particular roof. The original Cedar roof was still on this thing!! Still not sure how many layers had been placed on top. No ventilation. No decking. Erie took the time to educate us on what that even means and how their technicians will have to attack all of the issues. Installation took 3 full days and the team was wonderful. We have 3 dogs and they were very considerate of our needs in and out of our home over these 3 days. They cleaned up every evening, covered anything that might be damaged by the ancient roof materials coming off. Excellent. We now not only have a roof to code, but we are updated to the 21st century with the fiberglass core and energy efficient products Erie manufactures themselves. And the color is gorgeous. Everyone come look at our roof!

In response to a Facebook ad I had a sales representative return my inquiry. Things did not go well. I would avoid this company. Customer service started out bad I can't imagine it would have gotten any better. Eric thank you for trying to reach out. There really is no need to talk further. The problem was your company does not deal with contractors property managers or project managers. Your company's only option was to deal directly with the home owner. This led me to belive your company's only option was to get the home owner to agree to use there house as collateral if the final bill was not paid ? Your prices judging from reviews online are at or above the top prices from other roofers....I also noticed that you got some very good reviews and a lot of poor reviews. Long story short I feel like you should be reported to the Indiana state attorney generals office and investigated for predatory lending. As I did not have a working history with you company or enugh evidence to do that I choose to leave you a poor review online. No further phone conversation will be needed you had a chance. I will find a roofing company with integrity and you can go pursue other unsuspecting home owners to take advantage of. Of course this is just my opinion based on the phone call I made to get a bid for a new roof.

We contacted Erie because we knew our roof was 20 years old and needed to be replaced. The representatives came out to the house, did an inspection of the exterior of the roof as well as the interior from the attic. They took photos and showed us problem areas and explained the entire replacement process.  The two representatives who came out were very knowledgeable friendly and showed us samples of roofing material. We elected the sign up with Erie and during the process they kept us well advised of every step of the process that was going on. On the day of replacement a crew showed up with all the materials that they needed, stripped off the old roof, replaced bad decking and installed our new roof. They cleaned up very well and carried off all the old materials from the roof and did it all-in-one day. Rain was expected the next day so they graciously called in a second crew to get the work finished After the work was all done we completed a walk around review and inspection of the new roof.. My wife and I are very satisfied and very happy with the outcome I highly recommend Erie to anybody that's looking to have their roof repaired/replaced.  My personal heartfelt thanks for all the hard work. We received a quote from Erie as a result of a Facebook campaign. Our salesman, Jonathan, was very professional and very thorough with his inspection and his explanation of his quote. He did a very good job of explaining Erie’s materials and their processes. He made sure that we had a firm understanding before we made any decision. Once my husband and I signed the paperwork it only took about two weeks and they were ready to begin the job. The men that installed our roof showed up on time and were very polite. They put down tarps all around the house to help catch debris from the removal and Installation of the roof. However, after the snow melted we still did find some roofing nails around the home that needed to be picked up, but overall they did a good job. They worked from morning till night and they completed our roof in one day. My husband climbed up on the roof the next morning, walked the entire roof to check for any errors or anything that needed to be addressed, but he found nothing. Everything looked great! Erie’s workers are very efficient and their companies materials are of the highest quality! We couldn’t have been happier with our results!

We recently hired Erie to install their metal roofing system on our home. I have been shopping metal roofing for over a year, but didn't want roofing that looks like it belongs on a barn. We have already had many positive comments about our new roof. Most people are very surprised to hear it is metal. The sales team that came to our house was very professional. They examined & measured our roof, going on the roof & into the attic, taking pictures & giving us a detailed bid rather than just a rough estimate. They brought actual roofing materials so they could demonstrate how the components of the system worked together. Our salesman kept in touch with us throughout the process to answer any questions or concerns. The installation team showed great attention to detail, taking the time to do the job right, even when that meant working an extra day to resolve an unexpected issue. The sales people were very thorough in checking the roof and going up into the attic. He had a portfolio of pictures showing me all the issues and possible issues that I may be having. They gave me different avenues of what I could do with different materials. They even were able to provide me a financial route that I could use for financing. I went with the fiberglass dimensional shingles and once we negated price they ordered the product. In just a few days they had a crew out removing my old roof and replacing bad decking and modifying the ventilation for my attic. The crew was at my house at the time they said they would be there. They were very professional and courteous. They done a great job in replacing my roof and installing all the extra safeguards barriers, ice shields, drip edges and gutter protection. When they were done they cleaned up everything and didn't leave any evidence that they were even there. Before they left I personally thanked each and everyone of them for a job well done.

We went with Erie because we were impressed with the fiberglass roofing system and their inspection revealing improper ventilation. The roofing system included covering the front side of the roof with ice and water shield because of the low pitch. They also put a 3 1/2 ft. strip of the ice and water shield along the edge of the back half of the roof. I understand from talking to an architect that this is standard for commercial property but not for residential. Also, they do not use tarpaper to cover the rest of the decking but use a very tough waterproof film. Although the shingles look like standard asphalt architectural shingles, they have a 100% fiberglass core and are made to withstand 120 mph wind. Hard to tell if this is true so will have to take their word for it unless we get a 120 mph wind. Because of the ventilation problems they had to replace 30 squares (90 sheets) of decking. The workers were efficient and good natured. I did not get other estimates so am not sure about pricing.

Was very impressed with how great Erie Construction handled installing our new roof. From the day the sales rep came out to the day of completion we felt very well taken care of. The sales rep Alex was very informative and down to earth and very understanding towards us. He was realistic with us about the needs of our house and was honest every step of the way so we felt comfortable in getting our roof installed. The workers who installed the roof were very fast and worked very dilligently, they never even stopped to take a break or anything and kept working til the job was done in 2 days. I was very pleased with the efficientcy and how fast my roof was put on. The price was very reasonable and fair considering the quality. I now have a new roof on my forever home and now have great peace of mind thanks to Erie Construction. Would recommend them to anyone in need.

We weren't planning on getting a roof since I am still taking college classes, but we did inquire with a Facebook post that peaked our interest. We also saw Erie Construction website. We read reviews and comments from satisfied customers. . We just need a cost. Our roof had 2.5 layers of stuff... We just recently purchased our home. We need to invest in the future of our home. We met Chris, one of their representatives, and he showed us different sections of the roof that needed attention. He showed us samples of the shingles. Atlantic Blue, a new color! Many conversations with the finance, install, material, foreman. This company we recommend! Great follow-thru! Highest quality! Clean up! If you are considering a new roof, take the next step. And step outside your comfort zone and pick shingles that make a statement!

We were very satisfied with the products. The installation went very well and the installers were excellent. They did a great job and were professional and did a great job cleaning up. they even gladly cleaned my gutters that needed it. I would recommend Erie Construction to anyone needed a new roof or other home improvement projects. The Sales team was also very helpful in helping us decide what product to choose and worked to keep it within our budget. They explained the whole process from start to finish, demonstrated the products and explained the installation. They explained the advantages of their products over conventional roofing materials and also the warranties and service guaranties should we need service anytime over the next 30 years. Again I feel this is a 5 Star organization and highly recommend them.

They did an amazing job on our new roof...they worked hard & our roof wasn't an easy one, our neighbors were even impressed & even noticed how the workers were hard working. The quality of the materials are excellent, they skimped on nothing. Why we chose Erie, was top of the line materials they used and warranty plus a company that will be their when I need anything, I know the material was the best, because I have did roofing on and off for many years and know a good install when I see one. I could not have done a better job myself. This company exceeded all my expectations and my wife had no complaints. I was going to reclean around the yard, but it was not needed. Erie Construction to me was a top notch company to deal with. From the sales aspect their representative thoroughly explained their product and all options and price ranges to me. They also showed me what they were going to do to eliminate water and mold from accumulating along the bottom edge of my new roof. The installers were professional. They were quick an efficient, and did not leave any trash or roofing scraps on my lawn. If you looked at my yard when they were done, you could not tell that anyone was even there. The installers were courteous and friendly to us. When the whole job was done, there were no extra hidden costs or "surprises" that we were unaware of. With Erie Construction, I believe I got what I paid for with my new roof. My wife absolutely loves the way it looks!

We contacted Erie to look into roof replacement. The two gentlemen who came were very professional & kind. They showed us all the options & came down to the price. The could not praise their company & work enough. Made a lot of promises. They got VERY reluctant about letting us think it over for 24 hours. We stood firm. I contacted the salesman early the next morning to tell him we decided to go ahead with the roof. Then, the frustration started. We had to make calls to find out information. “The install group will call to set up a date 2-3 weeks.” We called them 3 1/2 weeks later to check. Everything that happened was because we called. Some of promises were not done. We do love our roof, but did not like the process or the headache that went with it.

We were idly looking at the specialty metal roofings, and choked at the prices. Then the salesman showed and told us about the 30 year warrantied Fiberglas roofing - much more in our price range! Had a few issues getting the install scheduled - timing problems wit the prior install customer - but finally got 'er done. Looks a little lumpy right now, but once the sun and a bit of heat hits the shingles, it should look great! The salesman handed us off to Trent to ramrod the project, and Trent has been fabulous! That man has the patience of Job when dealing with a customer who has a million questions! The install crew were quite interesting, but efficient for the most part. We would definitely utilize Erie again!!

I had been shopping around for a new roof since I had a leak. The sales guys were the only ones that went into the attic to see what was going on. They were the only ones that found the hole in my roof! It was also not properly vented which explained why it was always so hot at night. They showed us what they could do, got us rushed on the schedule, and boom new roof. The crew was very professional, cleaned up to the point they used magnets in the flower beds, and I didn't fling anything with the mower that night. I have the best looking roof in the neighborhood and I can rest knowing I won't have any more leaks. It's also not hot at night anymore. Quality product and quality crew. I could not be happier.

Worked for these guys. Crooks, they won’t pay me the $2200 they owe me. Not to mention as well, their roofs are absolutely ridiculously priced. They average around $1500 a square for asphalt shingles and around $2500 a square for metal. And then they use all kinds of “justifications” to drop the price, which is just a shady selling tactic. Just don’t. I’ve literally priced roofs for more than the house is worth and then they give you this “cost vs value” sheet that claims you’ll get 70% of that cost back into equity into your house. Which is hogwash. Not to mention I’ve listened to several of the salesman lie straight through their teeth. It’s a shame they’re getting loaded from unethical practices.

They were quick to scheduling my new roof and were willing to work with my schedule. After I met with the salses people talking to the install manager when repeating my concern about animals getting in through a gap around the edge of the house he decided the bottom two feet of the deck board shouls be replaced. This was amended to the quote with out additional cost as the sales person said the job quote is final. When they were tearing out the roof they put down tarps. A plumbing pipe had had rot around it and had been broken off under the roof all of which they fixed. The roof was completed in 1 day. They cleaned up the site and checked for nails with magnets.

We had Erie put a new roof on our house. The materials showed up with in a couple of weeks of them coming and doing the inspection. With in a couple of days the crew was there to start work. They had the old shingles tore off and reshingled in 2 days. They did pretty well with the clean up. I've only found a hand full of nails and very little scrap in my bushes. Only issue we had was when they started to shingle the roof they ran out of thermal barrier and put their velt paper down instead. I called Keith the next morning and he came out and had the crew rip off the new shingles to put down the thermal barrier. All in all we are pretty pleased with their work!

The men putting it on did an excellent job on tearing the old roof off and tearing the chimney down and replacing damaged plywood. They did an excellent job of reroofing. They did a good job of cleaning up after themselves, putting tarps down and seeing everything was picked up. They were good about taking pictures before and after they started and made sure they caused no damage after they finished. The foil underlayment you think is so great did not reduce heat in our attic. Your advertisement doesn't live up to the product. But as far as the reroofing it is excellent. Had no problem with communication concerning scheduling and installation.

We have an old home with a hip style roof and a 10ft² flat top. We settled on a price with the sales person. Then find out that they can't do the flat part because of the time of the year (too cold). So they offered a gift card in the amount that would have covered the flat area. They said we would have to schedule in the spring to finish the flat area. As long as the gift card covers the cost of the flat area in the spring then I will change my 3 star to a 5 star Now as for the work the contractor did a good job. They put drop cloths down and cleaned up all the debris. They also did the job in a timely manner.

These wonderful men were brutally honest, in a good way about the condition of my roof after recently purchasing a home back in April. The weather has not been kind at all given recent months and they were happy to give me options that doesn't kill my wallet, or leave me with an only choice. They don't do sales pitches, they don't sugar coat anything. They got the job done and don't leave you hanging, they personally come out and check to be sure it's done right. I'm so glad they are helping me get this done before my roof is REALLY done for. Thank you so much, Erie! I'm so glad I found your advertisement!

This company was great! I came across them via Facebook and was a little skeptical but when the sales consultant came to my house he was very nice not creepy at all- kinda attractive which is always nice. He was personable and honest about the pricing and products. He didn’t try to push the most expensive products understanding the property value of my neighborhood. The guys who actually did the installation were prompt and they were done in one day which is great when one is working from home. All in all it was a great experience and I’m glad I went with this company and would recommend them to others.

Start to finish we were given fantastic service. First, the sales man Andrew really listened to our needs and went the extra mile to help us get what we needed, at a fair price. Next, we were set up on a installation promptly. Then the day of install the roof only took one day. The installers were professional and cleaned up after themselves. The roof looks great. We had a a few hiccups on a few other issues and had to contact the office. Both Jill and Keith handled everything beautifully. Great overall experience would recommend them and look forward to using them on future projects.

They came early. Materials was delivered a few days before. Dumpster was delivered an hour before crew was here. They arrived and immediately started work on our roof. They were very courteous and professional. We had a whole roof replacement. It took a little over 12 hours with 3 roof workers. My gutters were full of debris due to having pine trees. They cleaned my gutters out which I was not expecting. They did a very nice clean up after finishing. They did a great job on it. I highly recommend Erie Construction. Everyone we dealt with was very professional and nice. They will take time to make sure that you have a firm grasp of understanding each step in the process. The materials they use are very well made, high quality. The men that installed our roof were very sweet and hard working lads. They made sure to clean up after themselves pretty good, what with roofing nails and materials taken off. To us, the nails were a concern because we have dogs. We have found a few here and there but all in all they did a good job of patrolling the area for leftover trash/nails.

We had a roof installed by Erie construction. We had been experiencing some minor leaks in one of the upstairs bedrooms. Jonathon (the consultant for Erie) was able to get up on the roof and take pictures of other damaged areas that we were not aware of. The crew was out just a few weeks later. They took the old shingles and some damaged wood off and replaced it with the new plywood and shingles. They were done in only 3 days and completely cleared away all the debris from the yard. We are very pleased with the outcome and would recommend.

I am completely thrilled with the look of my roof and the quality of materials. I am especially grateful to the installation crew's dedication to every stage of their work, they were careful around my garden beds and cleaned up the site afterwards. From inquiry to installation completion, very professional! Everyone I interacted with was polite and courteous ... from my first inquiry call, product representatives, project scheduling, delivery, installation crew, and completion representative ... After evaluating the roof and determination that it needed replaced it only took two weeks for them to call to schedule the replacement. The replacement was done in one day and that was even with a tear off of three layers of roofing not two. The crew cleaned up well and didn’t leave until I was fully satisfied. I had questions during that the crew couldn’t answer and the manager with Erie was available to answer those right away. The finished product looks great and I’m very happy with the choice.

Erie Construction Did a roof replacement on our home. Erie was very professional and quick about getting the roof done. I am quite impressed with how clean the job sight was kept. We are now a month after the replacement and to date all I have found has been 1 nail and a small piece of cut off. We had an issue where I wasn't happy with the way the edge metal was lapped in one spot. Erie had there team back out quickly to have the problem fixed. I am quite happy. Thank You Erie!

If I would have read the reviews before contacting Erie, I would not have gone with them. Thank goodness that wasn't the case. I don't know where the people live that left poor reviews, but I live in Indianapolis IN and have nothing but high praise for Erie. From the initial contact, the sales representative, the product and timely manner of installation to the installation crew, I am more than satified with the product and service. I would highly recommend them.

Installers did a great job, arrived early in the morning in day scheduled. Laid down protective materials to protect windows and A/C unit. Stripped old shingles and installed new roof . After roof install was completed they did through cleanup of all old roof materials. Ran magnet over decks and lawn to ensure all old roofing nails were picked up. Erie roof did everything that was discussed when quote was presented. So far very pleased with results.

Chris and Keith were great about explaining my roofing options. Went with the fiberglass option. No high pressure. Worked around my schedule for installation. Installers did a great job on the installation and clean up (only found one roof nail and few pieces of old roofing when trimming some bushes). Completed job in one day. Have had several neighbors comment on what a nice job they did and how nice looks. I agree. So happy I chose to use Erie.

I have had to revise my 5 stars to just 1 star. Called in months ago to have my yearly inspection (which would be my first) I also have 2 nail pops and a torn shingle that needs to be addressed. Let's skip over what they wanted me to do which was climb on the roof and send pictures of my complaint but they also never showed up for my inspection. Never called back. They may start out great but it seems like they don't care after the job is done.

The whole process was very easy . They came out looked at roof and gave a estesmment. The gentleman was very friendly and wasn't pushy. Explain our opinions and answered any questions we had. The crew that installed the new roof was polite and friendly. When they were done they did a great job of cleaning up. They made sure we were happy with everything befor we signed off on work. Erie Roofing did a wonderful job repairing and replacing my roof. The soffit and facia is great! I love the way my house looks now. The workers were here and had the roof done in one day, the soffit/facia work was done in one day about a week later. The workers cleaned up the work site at the end of the job(s). I would definitely refer Erie Roofing to a friend or someone in need of any type of roof work.

I was dreading having my roof place and as I suspected it became a big hassle after talking to three other roofing companies . A friend said I should try Erie Home and I was pleasantly surprised by the companies professionalism and overall knowledge, they made the process very easy and the work they did was top notch. Erie sold and installed a 2nd layer roof on our house. The installation took one day. Very pleased with the roofing product. The only issue has been finding a few nails and screws in the yard and driveway that didn't get cleaned up. They did drag a magnet around, but apparently missed a few. Overall, quite pleased with the roof and the roof warranty. That part is a 5. Installation gets a 4.

We went with the 3D shingles. Cause we didn't think our HOA would allow the metal. And I have to say, this is GREAT PRODUCT! We have had some pretty good storms come through since we had it installed. And not one shingle is out of place. The guys came out installed in a half a days time. And left no trash on the ground. Very impressed with Erie Construction and would suggest them to anyone!

The sales men were very knowledgeable and very helpful with all our questions. It took about a week and got a phone call telling me that they can do my roof the next day. They removed the old roof and had the new one on in about 8hrs. They cleaned everything up and you would never know they were ever here. They are very good at what they do and I would definitely recommend them to any one.

They did a great job on the roof. The clean up could have been better they left trash in my yard from lunch and I did go back and pick up some trash as well. When you purchase material for my house the material should stay at my house when the project is complete the crew took the nails with them they should have stayed here at my house I did purchase the material

Recently had a new roof put on by Erie...SUPER IMPRESSED AND PLEASED WITH OUR DECISION!! Keith Harris did a fantastic job with our inspection and made us feel we were more then just another “customer”! The crew was very fast and very tidy! They did a wonderful job. Less than a week from my first contact until my roof was completed. Very professional salesperson, fast and courteous project manager and crew. Job was superb and my yard looked like they had never been there when they left. I wish everything went this smoothly. Great product, great warranty. I had Erie come out and replace the flat rubber section of my roof as it was leaking whenever it rained. Everything looked good but today it started raining and I immediately noticed a leak from a new place in the roof. I called them right away and they're sending a crew out within 2 hours of my call to them to get it looked at and fixed.

Completely and totally disrespectful. They asked if both homeowners would be available and I explained that my wife does not like to be a part of any of our home update quotes because it gives her anxiety. The lady I spoke with then told me that they wouldn't come out unless my wife took part. What kind of business refuses new customers?

The salesmen were professional, very informative, helpful explaining things & answered all of our questions. When following up with the paperwork they made sure we didn't have anymore questions. The have a very good warranty, materials top grade, they did great work. The crew putting on roof was respectful & cleaned up really well!

They were very punctual and followed up with us every time they said they would. They answered any questions that I had and were always professional in doing so. They came out and replaced our roof and cleaned up as promised. Everything looks great and I know if I have any problems I can contact them without hesitation. Thank you!

I am currently taking with the installation manager about the decking on my roof to be replaced. So far it say Erie to replace decking with osb where applicable, so now they are saying it’s only one square foot of decking. At this current time I would advise not getting a roof from them if you live in Tipton Indiana.

Excellent service and price. The product is fantastic as is the guys that installed the roof and answered my questions when I asked information when they were installing the roof. They even went one step further when my pup got out of the fence and help me find her and get her in the house. I highly recommend Erie.

The supervisor and the crew showed up early for the job. They started as soon as the sun came up. I thought that they were there to just do the tear down, but actually did the installation as well. The crew was fast and clean. They even went over the surrounding area with a magnet a few times. They did a great job.

We were in desperate need of a new roof. Salesman spent nearly 4 hours inspecting our old roof and answering all of our questions. Installation took 2 days and the crew was very friendly and professional. Cleaned everything up as if no one had ever been there. The end result is a beautiful roof.

They installed my roof and messed up my brand new gutters that I had just had put on. They did not even notify me they messed up my gutters in several spots. I do not recommend this over priced company nor their word any longer. I have concerns about the warranty they claimed I have.

Fast response! I'd had a leak from a heavy storm that came through my area and a whole new roof installed the next week. They had a mob of guys up there stripping the old, replacing a lot of wood and installing new 30 year fbg shingles.
