I recently purchased the Double Wall Bed Couch from Expand Furniture. While I’m very happy with the final product (see enclosed photos), there were some shipping and installation challenges. Please see below: 1. Shipping Issues: After requesting and confirming a shipping date with Expand Furniture, I made arrangements for two professional contractors to arrive and assist with the installment of the bed and sofa. Unfortunately, once the bed and sofa reached Expand Furniture's warehouse in New Jersey, the third-party shipping company – Watkins & Shepard – was unable to confirm my pre-arranged delivery dates. As a result, I had to re-schedule delivery twice. I also had to re-schedule my contractors. It is worth mentioning that I had a very difficult time getting in touch with Watkins & Shepard, and because I had to re-schedule my contractors several times, the installation of the bed and sofa took much longer than initially expected. 2. Installation Issues: Per Expand Furniture’s advice, my installment crew reviewed the video provided by digital manual several times before installation. Still, some challenges were met: - The alignment of the bed frame was a problem since one side panel was bent/damaged (see image #1 attached). As a result, final alignment of the bed frame proved to be very time consuming. - The next issue was the installation of the four pistons. All of the pistons provided were 800n, contrary to the video provided. None of the pistons were 1000n provided. As a result, we had to replace two of the back pistons, results in additional funds and time for installation. - Another challenge was with the screws. None of the screws were labeled, which made it difficult to determine where they were needed. What’s more, the metal screws, which are meant to attach the mattress headboard to the top of the bed frame did not fit the predrilled holes and had to be re-drilled before the screws would go in. Again, resulting in additional time for installation. - Lastly, the pivot point bolts for the bed frame alignment on both sides were not thoroughly explained. My crew had to disassemble the front panels to allow access and relieve the piston pressure on the bolt and allow realignment. - Overall, my team found the video instructions to be confusing and mostly unhelpful; they would have preferred a detailed written manual with a complementary verbal explanation on video more helpful. It’s worth mentioning that my installation crew would not recommend installing this type of bed and sofa without seeking additional professional help, either from Expand Furniture or more contractors. In total, installation took over eight hours, and because of several delivery changes, resulted in unexpected, additional costs. I also had to take additional time off of work to accommodate the many changes with shipping and delivery. Overall, I'm very happy with the final product. The bed and sofa have totally transformed my studio apartment. And, Expand Furniture representatives were receptive to my feedback after delivery and installment.

UPDATE: I was contacted by Adam after and he sent Andy to our place to repair the table. Adam also assured my husband and I that if this happens again, a new table will be replaced. Initial experience was not great but at least Adam and Alex stepped up to understand where I was coming from. So thank you guys! I can’t say how great the product will be in the long run but the customer service from those 2 gentlemen are great! We purchased our first house last year and after 7 months of renovating, we moved in May. Over the last 7 months, I have been researching for furnitures that are expandable when we do have large group over. After going back and forth between Expand and Transformer table, I decided to go with Expand as it’s local. Due to the delay of the renovation, we ordered and had them deliver on April 26 2022 and was stored at our new place until all the last bit of touch up was done. Since its just my husband and I, we don’t expand the table until we have guests over which have been only 3-4 occasion since we moved in. Just this weekend, when we wanted to show some friends this table. One side of the steel extension separated from the console. I took pictures and emailed Expand furniture regarding this as this seem to be a defect of some sort that I only used less than 5 times. To my surprise, Hillary from Expand replied back and said “I think I am able to fix but I am really concerns this may be been dropped possibly in during your move. I nave never seen this steel extensions separate from the console top before”. Then gave me instructions on how to fix it myself or call a handy man if I don’t know how. If I could, I would have included photos but it’s not allowing me. Excuse me?! 2 months old table used less than 5 times falling apart with no exterior damages and you asked me to go fix it myself? How do I know if the other steel extension will become like this in the future?? Maybe it’s poor workmanship or maybe can it be the material they used?! As of now, I am still awaiting for my reply from my response to them. This has been a very poor 1st time buying experience from Expand. My family and friends are surprised about the quality and the warranty of Expand furnitures. They are now thinking twice now if they want to buy furnitures from Expand.

TLDR: Nano Chairs: 5 Stars Customer Service: 5 Stars Flip Table: Originally 3 stars, bumped up to 4 stars after customer service So I ordered the "The Flip – Console to Table" in aged white ash and the "Nano Stylish Folding Chair – Set of 4" in walnut wood. First off, the turnaround time for ordering was very quick. I placed my order on a Saturday and the items were in my position by Wednesday. Was expecting it to be longer, especially since it was an international delivery for me. The chairs look amazing. They fold up crazy thin and are very comfortable to sit in. Comfort was a concern for me. I've sat in many a fold up chair through many a long meeting and usually end up with a sore back and numb backside. The Nano Chair is a different story. The seat is very comfortable and the back of the chair offers nice support. They also fit almost anywhere, like my entryway closet that currently holds a set of coats and a folding exercise bike. The chairs slide in up against the wall and still left plenty of room to move the bike in and out. The walnut color is also very attractive and really compliments the aged ash of the table. As for the Flip table, the aged white ash was a little more white than what I thought it was going to be. Definitely not a deal breaker though, and the color difference could be blamed on my laptop's resolution. Expand sent me a video on how to assemble the table, which was very helpful and super easy to follow. Assembly is where things started to go a bit sideways. I had a few issues with some of the components, which bummed me out quite a bit. The table was probably the most "high end" piece of furniture that I've bought before, so to have problems with it was kinda disappointing. However, things did turn around. Which brings me to customer service. The customer service at Expand is awesome. They are prompt with answering and responding and worked really hard to walk me through some possible solutions for my concerns. Seriously, we came to an excellent resolution for the table in less than 24 hours. Working with the people of Expand turned what would've been a disappointing purchase into a very pleasant experience. It's awesome to work with a company that takes pride in not only their product and service, but also their customers.

I cannot recommend Expand Furniture more highly! Their shipping department was in touch with me, providing updates along the fulfillment process. They provided tracking numbers and shipping contacts in advance. I was able to watch the delivery progress as the table and 8 chairs moved across Canada and the US to So. Florida – about as far away as one could be within the contiguous U.S. The shipment arrived right on time. The table arrived perfectly! Seriously, the quality of this table more than exceeded my expectations. I’ve seen similar expandable tables and expected this one would have some “wobble” to it once expanded. Nope – this thing is as solid open as it is closed. I just love it. - Now, 2 of the chairs were slightly damaged by the shipper, not by Expand. The box appeared to have been mishandled, resulting in two chairs losing screws that hold the chair backs firmly in place. I’d taken pictures of the box prior to opening it – and I noted on the delivery receipt that the box appeared to have a small hole in one of the boxes. Note: we were experiencing almost hurricane (IAN) weather when the shippers unloaded it from their truck. I could understand some “slippage”. Anyway, I called Expand to see how we might repair them. Expand wouldn’t hear of it – INSTEAD, they quickly expressed two replacement Nano Chairs to me. Rarely do I see this kind of customer service any more. – The table and chairs’ quality was only surpassed by their customer service. To me, the fact that they stand so firmly behind their product and their choice of shipper speaks volumes. I WOULD NOT HESITITATE to use them again. In fact, I’m actually looking forward to using them again. THANK YOU!

UPDATE: The head of shipping (Aaron) personally took charge of my case and ensured my table top, (the last one, as that colour is being discontinued), was in good condition and was shipped back to me express. I then received a followup call from Adam a couple of days later to make sure everything had gone well, give me some explanations, and apologize again. The measure of a company that cares is one that makes it right. Expand made it right, and so I have revised my review. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I placed my order on November 15 for the Flip table, and received an automated message that it would take 2-3 weeks to get to me and I would receive notice from the shipping department. Without notice, (except for some dodgy-looking UPS notification about something being shipped from Freightcom and something being shipped from Freight Club that I trashed right away because I recognize a potential scam when I see one!), I received the legs to my table on November 28. The top was in the UPS warehouse. It was supposed to be delivered on 29th (according to UPS) but suddenly was listed as on its way back to North Carolina (I thought I was ordering from Vancouver) due to a "service disruption". I have sent five messages to customer service and received three replies back, all with zero information on what happened or when I will get my table. This is unacceptable service. Apparently, people are getting calls from the owner if they publish a Google review, so I'm giving that a try.

The wife and I were a bit tired of our small children bumping their heads and climbing onto the traditional wood table and chairs (1 year old loves to climb) so I decided to try expand furniture's junior expanding table set with chairs and bench and I am very pleased with the whole experience. (super fast shipping and well protected packaging and pretty much ready to use right out of the box) The quality on the table and chairs/bench appears to be made to last a long time and the best part is the children's behavior changed over night because of the dining room table being "out of sight, out of mind." Also to mention the extra space we could use for more play area is so worth it! We are forever grateful for this product that truly enhanced our family life and the table looks absolutely stunning, is very easy to store and move around. I'm blown away every time I expand the table and it's nice to pick the size whether just 1 or 2 pieces for a small table or use all the pieces for a truly stunning look and feel. Guests are always blown away by how nice it looks! When everyone is finished eating it's very easy to clear the table and remove the table pieces to contract and be stored out of sight out of the mind of these little adventurous climbers. I ordered the King Side Lift Storage Bed and when it arrived I myself was able to put it together. Unfortunately there were a few pieces missing, so I contacted Expand Furniture right away. I was working with Adam and Camilla and they were incredible! They went out of their way to make sure the missing pieces were delivered to me in a few days. I believe the pieces came from Vancouver, Canada, and I live in Detroit, Michigan, USA. Needless to say they were extremely helpful. I got the bed all set up and it was perfect. Since our mattress was a new Puffy Lux at the time, it would slide off. So Adam made sure to get an order in for taller mattress stoppers right away, no extra cost. After sleeping on the bed for several nights, I noticed the original stoppers were working and the bed would not slide off anymore, but since it's a heavier bed, the standard pistons couldn't support holding the bed up. I again reached out to Camilla and Adam and I ordered stronger pistons. Once again, they arrived in like 2 days, amazing! Overall the bed is all set up, we were given an additional free mattress stopper and paid $100 for stronger pistons since our mattress is 95lbs. Despite some set backs, I strongly recommend Expand Furniture, not just for this incredible bed we received, but the outstanding customer service. Thank you for making this experience a good one!

I’ve purchased a table in January with an expected delivery of March which is completely fine. However, since then, the company has been ignoring my emails since April: Canpar (shipping company) did not deliver half my items I have purchased and have repeatedly asked Expand to look into a solution. None was given. Radio silence. Last email was received May 2 indicating “will reach out to Canpar” and have heard nothing since. Customer service is the worst I have experienced. I do not recommend this company. UPDATE: Since posting this review, Adam had reached out. He offered me an apology (which is quite meaningful) and offered to send me another set of chairs. He sorted everything quickly as possible and the chairs arrived Thursday the following week. He asked which carrier I was comfortable using and then offered some compensation for the troubles caused. I used FedEx. The best I can offer as a review is a 4* for now. As appreciative I am about everything, I feel like the 3 month debacle was more than just an oversight, and it should not have taken a Google review to review my case! I will be recommending this company to other's. Thank you Adam for the outstanding service in lieu of the previous handler.

Perfect I needed a desk/table to replace my small dinette table, which was staggering under the weight of my WFH monitors and laptop. Everything in my place is black, white, or silver - minimalist design - so I did a LOT of research online, search for a stylish yet functional table. As soon as I found Expand Furniture, though, I knew they would have what I was looking for - actually, I like and want pretty much everything from their catalog, but can’t justify that. Yet. I ordered The Flip - Console to Table. Fairly easy setup (did need to watch the video though), everything was provided, so I am set! I used some of the ample amount of included Styrofoam to put under the monitors and laptop, as I got the gloss white. I got the set of 4 Nano chairs as well, so I am looking forward to having people over to show it all off. Actually, it inspired me to get some shelving in that room as well, so I can really say the furniture inspired me and transformed the place. It’s not as cheap - in every sense of the word - as some stuff I got from "copycat” furntiture places (cough, ***UCTUBE, cough), but it’s worth it, as the quality is apparent even at a distance.

** update: one of the founders of the company contacted me and has assured me the product is not supposed to sag to the degree shown in my photo. He has offered an action plan that I am confident will resolve the situation in the coming days ***** update: per the company “There should be a thicker layer of felt on the extensions, but it seems a few extensions slipped through production with a thinner layer so I apologise as this must be the case here.” They had new, thicker felts shipped to my home within a day or 2. They were easy to apply and the issue has been resolved to my satisfaction. Excellent support. Original comment: Deeply disappointed in the counter height junior giant table. It sags significantly in the middle, which becomes glaringly obvious when you position the table beside a kitchen island. The company knows this occurs, and could only suggest adding various thicknesses of felt to the underside of the leaves to level it out. For the money this is not a satisfactory solution. Don’t buy this product if you have an appreciation for precision, or an expectation of level or flat

I was reluctant to order furniture online sight unseen. Expand Furniture is a company that you can trust. They will work with you until you are a satisfied customer. Their communication and customer service skill is top notch and quite rare these days. Adam, in particular, worked with me to iron out any concerns or issues I might have in doing business with them and even helped me to pick out my table without any aggressive oversell tactics. His honesty , problem solving skills, and the quick turn around with regard to questions and requests through the whole process was refreshing. I ended up purchasing the Junior Giant Table (grano) and it is just gorgeous. Better than I expected. It's very heavy and extremely well made. It looks a lot nicer in real life than online. I honestly cannot think of a single negative thing to say about this table. My little kids are going to love the extra space for their crazy wiggle cars. Amazing customer service and attractive, functional, and innovative designs. I will definitely do business with Expand Furniture again. Thank you Adam and Expand Furniture!

Edited: Customer service contacted me and helped with getting the table unstuck. It seems that you need another person's help (not a lot of force, but another set of arms and legs) if the table was not touched in a long time. All good now, working seamlessly. I bought a Chord table (oval coffee table that can become a round or oval dining table). The issues started with the shipping, which took more than a month to arrive. I have to admit, they reimbursed me for the shipping fees, so that was resolved. However, the table is supposed to lify when you pull a lever. It worked ONCE. Since we use it as a coffee table, it stayed low ever since. In the past week I tried to lift it again and it does not work. Emails, calls, FB message... no response. I wanted to love this table, it looks sleek and the functionality and versatility are great when it works. Mine doesn't. And now I am over $1,500 out of pocket with no one to talk to! I am beyond disappointed! I wanted to buy the chair to go with it, but I will stay far away from this company, unless they fix the table and their customer service!

After much online research my wife and I decided to purchase the "Box Coffee to Dining Table" in glossy grey coffee. We could not be more happy with our purchase!! The finish is impeccable and the table is even more sturdy than I thought it would be. Even fully extended there is just the slightest movement end to end when you push on it. The hydraulics that move the table up and down are a little stiff at first (much easier if you can have two people lifting/pushing) but it has gotten easier the more we have used it. It's so nice to have a dining table that doesn't take up the entire room since we only use it as a dining table when we have company. We actually put 4 inch leg extenders on the couch that it sits in front of and now we can use that couch as seating, and it's the correct height. There was some very minor damage on one of the legs when we received the table. Customer service at Expand was extremely cordial, helpful and resolved the issue immediately and to our complete satisfaction. I would absolutely recommend this product and this company!

I used to sell dining tables and often heard complaints that table leg position ends up interfering with the leg room for at least two guests when an end leaf is added, so I was pretty set on having a center leaf as opposed to end. I tried approximately 20 different stores big and small throughout the Vancouver area and found what I was looking for in a sleek modern style was hard to find. I came across the Abode table from Expand Furniture's website- it happened to be on sale, and the process of ordering a receiving it went very smoothly. My only complaint is you have to order online and pay for a delivery charge which you then request a refund for if you intend to pick up the furniture from them. I think this system could be smoothed out a bit. I knew when I was putting it together that it was one of the highest quality tables I have seen. The leaf mechanism is simple yet elegant, the look is sleek and sophisticated. Love it. Great table. Dealing with Expand was great- I love dealing with a smaller business and these guys are on it.

Update: - we really like our product now that it is completely installed. The bed is comfortable and works well. - there were multiple missing parts with my couch and wall bed, but after many phone calls I feel we are in a better place - Adam was helpful and gave me his personal number to text with questions and made himself available once he understood the extent of our issues. His communication style always made me feel like I was the problem. See his note below where he says most people don't have an issue putting their beds together based on their instructions. He admitted privately that my product was new to their line and they didn't have exact written instructions yet. When you order a bed from Expand, make sure to take extensive pictures of the box contents and confirm you have all pieces before starting assembly. This may require contacting the company as the instruction manual doesn't have a list of parts like most furniture. I have assembled a few Ikea pieces in my life and their instructions were confusing and incomplete.

We purchased the Junior Giant, matching chairs, and the matching bench seating online. Prompt confirmation, and email notifications/updates followed. Delivery was just over one week, and all pieces arrived at the same time. The furniture looks and performs exactly as the online videos show – beautiful appearance, quick opening and closing. What you can’t see is the quality; high end, solid, smooth operating, tight fits, comfortable. We are also very happy with the value proposition of this furniture. About the delivery; despite robust packing protection including heavy cardboard, solid wood, styrofoam, and plastic wrap, one of the boxes delivered was pretty beaten up, and the item had sustained cosmetic damage. Customer Service was EXCELLENT, addressed our concern immediately, effected a prompt resolution – you learn about a company’s values pretty quickly when you have a problem, and we could not be more satisfied with Expand Furniture. Thanks!

If I could give negative stars I would. Dreadful customer service. My furniture was dumped in my front yard, in front of a pile of top soil, without any notification they were coming, while I was out of town. I arrived home in the dark during a week with severe thunder storm warnings. I had to shove the boxes into the garage so they would not get soaked. The boxes are understandably filthy and were damaged before I moved them. I have had multiple contacts with expand furniture about completing this delivery to no avail. The first suggestion was I call Task Rabbit. After 3 weeks the Sofa still has not been delivered into my home as paid for. I would not have ordered it otherwise. They do not follow up to see if the issue is rectified. I am now stuck with a sofa in my garbage that I can’t move. I shop online with multiple retailers and this is the worst experience I have ever had. I very much regret this purchase.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this company and their products! I purchased the Transforming Table Evolved-Dining Set for Small Apartments and they allowed me do a completely custom order for a very reasonable fee (I swapped out the standard black legs for silver ones on the "Grano" table and paired it with four Nano chairs in "Walnut"). When some issues arose with shipping, they were handled quickly and very professionally. It is obvious they really care about their products and their customers, providing customer service that is honestly quite exceptional, especially in this day and age, and very personal. The quality of the products themselves is also pretty amazing, and they provided access to an excellent video on how to properly operate the table (raise/lower, transition from coffee table to dining table, etc.). I genuinely couldn't be happier!

Amazing high quality products. Love the storage solutions! We have the reveal queen side life bed and love it! It stores a HUGE amount and ikea bins fit perfectly underneath to help organize. It is easy to lift and put back down (can do with one hand). We got the bed specifically for the storage use but I ended up loving the look and fabric too - it is beautiful quality and looks great. I was also pleasantly surprised that when you lift the bed the pillows stay right on it - I had assumed you would have to remove them when lifting it each time but nope! They stay right where they are! We also have the occam coffee table with lift top. It stores ALL of our board games and all of our art supplies! We use the lift component pretty much every day when we eat and the mechanism still lifts perfectly even after using daily for over 2 years. Highly recommend these products!

I spoke to Mayara who was very helpful. I needed an outdoor coffee table converted to dining table in 2-3 days for a party which she said could work. At first, I was indecisive with choosing between picking it up from the distribution centre or having it delivered because picking it up was possible for the next day, but because of COVID, no one could help me take it to my car. Thankfully, Mayara suggested 48 hour delivery at no extra cost as the delivery person could bring the already assembled furniture inside. Table is quite sturdy, will definitely purchase from here again as I'm planning on getting a convertible sofa and some storage furniture for inside. Still figuring out how to lower the coffee table after the dinner, are there any videos or tips? I tried to push it down but maybe I missed a step.

Beautiful and clever table! We host a lot of family and friend functions and holidays. With a full house we never have enough space for everyone to eat. This coffee table has been a game changer, transforming into a dining table that seats 8-10 people. We get a lot of compliments both on the looks and novelty of the table. It is sturdy and built from quality materials. Aside from using it as a coffee table and dining table, our daughter adjusts it to desk height to do homework at the couch in the living room and we also use it extended and heightend for cards and board games. Although it was expensive, I don't mind paying good money for something that has a lot of function, quality and aesthetics. We will get a lot of use out of this table for years to come. Very pleased with the purchase.

The issue: The dimensions of the product I ordered were incorrect online, so it did not fit in the space I had allocated for the product. Adam was amazing and returned my angry email with a phone call almost immediately (on a Friday night mind you). We then took some measurements and discovered my item was a newer model and yes in fact the dimensions had changed. He worked to resolve this in a quick and amiable manner also updating the online measurements. Turning an unsatisfied customer into a very satisfied customer! In comparison, I have also recently had bad furniture luck with ikea... The way they went about handling their customer service has insured I will never support ikea again. In summary: Spend a bit more shop local, support Adam & you will not regret it! Thanks again.

I absolutely love my Expand Furniture in my new condo in San Francisco. The modular couches are so awesome as you can switch it up in 2 seconds and change the room set up for a movie or an impromptu gathering of vaccinated friends ( I am a nurse- just saying! ). The room and the furniture are modern, sleek, so comfortable! The Expand dining room table is stunning with the beautiful white an chrome expand chairs. It 2 minutes, I can take the consul table and expand it to seat 12 for dinner. Everything stores in minimal space. I can switch the entire condo around on a whim. LOVE IT! With COVID, I did have some shipping challenges but the team at Expand is really awesome and worked closely with me to make it happen. Great communication and great people.

Our coffee box is exactly what we wanted! As we are a family of three, a large traditional dinning room table made no sense and took up too much space! We’ve had our table for six months and we love it! It’s perfect to sit at and have morning coffee, play cards and board games on and also turn it into a large dinning room table for holidays and our favorite people!! Here’s the best part, originally we had some issues with the delivery as there was damage to the table, however the customer service we received was outstanding! Staff were on top of the issue, very compassionate and really cared about our satisfaction with the product! Expand Furniture knew how to make me feel confident in the product and happy with the whole experience!!

The expand flip table is a fantastic way to utilize space in my small Montreal condo, like many people, I split my week in the office and at home. While I am working from home, the flip console expands to a full size desk, and once the work day is over, I can convert it back to a discreet console table. When friends or family come over, it serves well as a 4 place dinner table. The accompanying flip chairs fit perfectly into the decor and when not in use, store away quite nicely. Overall, I love having the office and dinner setup when necessary and then packing it away when not used. Small space living should be easy and Expand furniture helps me use all my space efficiently. Shipping to Montreal was also a breeze. Thanks

I purchased one of Expand Furniture's tables (The Divide) and chairs (Pendulum folding dining chairs) around six months ago. The table had an important production default (the middle extension would not come out of its hiding placement) but the chairs were in perfect condition. I contacted their customer service and was very satisfied with their answer to my query. The lady I contacted was fantastic and helped me with the issue in a timely manner. I highly recommend checking their furniture if you have the budget for it. After approximately six months, the table still works very well and the chairs have survived real-life tests. I also bought a bed from them beforehand (the Reveal) and it works like a charm.

A year ago I bought Expand's Jr. Giant console table in white lacquer and 4 Nano chairs for our 650 sf apartment. The console table looks fabulous as is, and comes with leaves so it can expand to seat 8. Genius. The design is elegant and simple. My experience with Expand has been excellent. Buying furniture online can be hit or miss and if you have to have something delivered you don't want to have to return it. I looked at all the producers who make expandable furniture and, from my perspective, their product is superior .It is not cheap. Not in cost and not in quality. BUT it is a terrific value. Also they are very nice and the one small service question I had was dealt with promptly and professionally.

The process of ordering was very easy. However, upon delivery and assembly, we discovered they had sent me the wrong unit. They were super accommodating when I notified them of this error and even offered me free shipping and delivery for the proper items. I ended up loving the furniture they did send and told them there was no need for a réinstallation but would appreciate a refund for the price discrepancy which they happily obliged with. Most companies would’ve not replied or been angry with me but Expand was more than accommodating. They are also quick to respond via phone or email and the furniture is extremely good quality. Can’t wait to buy more in the future!

Wow! We downsized into a condo and had purchased the Reveal lift storage bed. Although it did take me about 4.5 hours to put together (mostly by myself with a little help from my husband) it wasn't hard at all, just time consuming. But the result ... FANTASTIC. Storage is at a premium at our condo so we were searching for something that could store as much as possible. The lift mechanism is easy and the bed is held in place. You don't even have to take off the pillows. The space underneath is huge. We haven't used it all up yet but are thinking at least 10 53L Rubermaid totes can fit. It really is a wonderful bed. Pricey yes, but worth it for the storage you get.

We got the Transforming Table - Space Saver Coffee Transformer v3. This table is amazing. It works so well in our apartment, and even collapses down low enough that it can be stored underneath our murphy bed when we need it. I love that I can adjust the height for work Zooms, too. I've seen other similar tables for twice as much, but the quality of this one is the same, if not better. And the mechanism to collapse it is so smooth and easy, it doesn't wake our baby up using it. Plus it looks great! This company has really innovative options for smaller spaces that feel high end and actually look nice (not like a dorm room). Highly recommend!

Incredible products that are worth the price. I love the cube and it fits well as chairs with room to tuck in under the table when the box coffee table is at dining height. It's also easy to use just one or two stools at a time, and takes only seconds to take one out or put it back. They are truly beautiful, the customer service was best in class, and they add a very fun entertainment value. Ideal for California Bay area apartment sizes and makes hosting from after work drinks to board games to a dinner party extremely easy. I plan to have these pieces for a very long time, and can't wait to someday get the Murphy bed desk!

Great Table - Great Customer Service We love the table. Looks great and functions as described. Initially there was what I deemed a small design flaw with the handle / lever that engages the hydraulics. And here is where the Expand team and their customer service really blew me away. Right from the get-go, far from dismissing my thoughts, they looked at ways to make it better - and make us happier owners of the table. In the end they sent us a completely re-designed lever in brushed steel with no hint of plastic -- and it was a breeze to install no less. Really top notch service and product. Couldn't be happier!

I found it difficult to assemble the Mini-Flip Compact Desk to Table from the instruction sheet, but there is a video on the site that helps. When I got it put together and tried to turn it upright, the leg buckled immediately. I turned it back upside down and examined it. The posts that the main bolts screw into, are drilled into something so soft that they can be pushed left and right. So, it's not the parts that I assembled that are giving out, it's the actual particleboard or whatever the tabletop is made. Customer Service have been doing their best to correct the problems and are replacing the table.

I just purchased a new Horizon table from Expand furniture. It’s the best choice for my laneway house. It goes from a coffee table and.raises into a desk or even up to a table height. Add in the hidden extensions and I can have a larger coffee table, desk and can easily sit 6 for dinner. It was a smart purchase for a smaller space. My only concern is that it is very “stiff” to move up and down. But the team at Expand assures me it will get easier with use. I highly recommend Expand furniture for anyone looking to fully utilize their space to it fullest.

I ordered a standing desk from them and I’m very happy and pleased with the purchase. I bought the coffee/dining room table and was not disappointed. I struggled while furnishing my living room because I wanted both a coffee table and a dining table, but my living room is very small. This was absolutely perfect, looks good as a coffee table, and easy to convert when I have company over. A little expensive, and I wish it was made of real wood, but better than everything else on the market. Expand shipped it quick, and was quick to respond when I had questions.

We've had our Hover wall bed for nearly a year and cannot say enough good things about it. The bed is well made. We loved that we could use our own mattress as the depth is quite forgiving compared to other wall beds we looked at. We use our wall bed daily, as our main bed as we live in a small space. So far it's working great for us! Our only feedback would be to upgrade the clip mechanism for the mattress. The current clips are made of plastic and don't seem very durable.

I've had my murphy bed with sofa for 4 years now, and it is amazing! Junior Giant Revolution Table -- Wonderful, functional piece! Great piece of furniture. Delivers exactly as promised - masquerades as a beautiful console table against a wall taking up almost no space then opens up to a huge dining room table when I have all the kids over. Absolutely love it! It’s heavier than it looks but that’s just because it’s made solid and one person can still move it around and open/close it.

I just bought the Box Coffee Table, and it's awesome! The staff were super helpful getting my order figured out, and definitely went above and beyond. Furniture quality is very high, I am very impressed.
