I initially sought out additional storage space for the month of June but ended up securing a lease a week earlier due to their inability to accommodate a later date. At that time, I was assured that any potential rate adjustments in the near future would be minimal, as I contemplated signing a longer-term lease. However, to my surprise, by September, my bank alerted me to a significant +66% increase in charges on my card without prior notification or consent. In my attempt to reach out to them via their website, I encountered no response. After an hour of waiting, I decided to contact the local branch office directly, only to be informed that their “corporate office sent out a postcard” as their sole form of notice to customers. It's perplexing to me why they would assume that +66% hike in rent would be acceptable without consent. It’s also puzzling why they would assume one postcard would be an acceptable form of communication, especially when implementing such a substantial price increase within a short span of a few months. This lack of transparency raises concerns about the intent behind these excessive and unethical rate hikes.

THE ONLY REASON THEY GET 5 star REVIEWS BECAUSE WHEN U GET A UNIT FOR THE FIRST TIME THEY ASK YOU TO LEAVE A REVIEW RIGHT THERE SO BEING HUMAN WE WANT TO BE NICE, STORAGE UNITS IS ANOTHER BIG SCAM.. AT THIS PARRICULAR LOCATION YOU ARE NOT GETTING WHAT YOU PAY FOR.. I RENTED A "10'X17'" UNIT AND WHEN I MEASURED IT,IT WAS JUST UNDER 9' BY 14'.. THINK IM LYING? JUST MEASURE YOUR OWN UNIT AND SEE FOR YOUR SELF.. I MEASURED A COUPLE OTHERS SO I GURANTEE YOU DONT HAVE WHAT YOU PAY FOR.. ANYWAYS IN JUST ONE YEAR MY UNIT WENT UP $180, THEN THEY SAY THE FINE PRINT IS MONTH TO MONTH LEASE.. THE BLACK GIRL THERE IS VERY RUDE AND SEEMS TO HAVE AN ATTITUDE PROBLEM. SHE WORKED 12/2/23 JUST INCASE THERE ARE OTHERS I WANT TO POINT OUT THIS PARTICULAR ONE. LONG STORY SHORT, THIS IS NOT LONGTERM PLACE, AND WHEN YOU CANT PAY THEY TAKE YOUR STUFF. GOOD LUCK ALL

I've been renting a small locker here for the past year, and recently rented another small unit to move somethings into while transitioning a move, and then utilize more storage since my new apartment is just a block away! I've had a great experience thus far and when I moved into my new unit, staff member Naoki was incredibly helpful and very sweet! I saw some reviews here claim that the company does a bait and switch for price increases, just be aware when you're choosing a unit the "web rate" is a promotional rate and after a month or two your rent will increase to the "in store" rate. My locker I've had for a year just increased from $24 to $31, but is just unfortunately on par with how everything is getting more expensive these days.

We just wanted to say that Niyokei is outstanding and she is the prototype for what we need in any client-facing role. We arrived at Extra Storage on Oct 4, uncertain whether we had made the right decision in storage facility given the long term cost and abundance of options in facilities across Brooklyn. It was so comforting to have Niyokei walk us through everything, show us various options, and really take the time to explain the facility and security measures in place. She was affable, professional, and informative. It’s always good when somebody can diffuse your anxiety. It was obvious that she genuinely cared. I came to this facility to view some spaces as I was unsure of the size needed for what I need to store. Jeannie was very thorough with the introduction of the building, she showed me two sizes that she knows will suffice for my needs. She went over everything including additional fees that needed to be paid for the first day of the rental. She also highly recommended that I take the Protection Plan as well which I now understand is a great additive for the unit. I would highly recommend storing at this facility as it is very clean and convenient. Thanks again Jeannie

I worked with Brittany, a manager at this location of Ezra Space Storage, and she was absolutely lovely/warm and kind. She was extremely informative of my different options depending on my short and long term goals with storage to help me get the best price. The area for this location is also perfect for me. Based on the individuals working at this location, particularly the manager Brittany, I highly recommend this storage location. The hours are also excellent, which are: 8-6:45pm. I’m lucky I found this facility on the way back home from looking ay an apartment.

Very happy with my experience here for the most part! Facility is very clean and easy to navigate. Staff is nice and helpful when you need them. They have may dolly’s for moving which is very helpful. Only qualm is with the company itself, which feels a need to increase your rent just about every 3 months. Wound up moving out after 3 months, just before they raised the price, but from what I understand about this company is that the longer you stay with them, the more they charge. Overall though, a very reliable and clean and safe storage space!

Jeannie was super nice and patient she helped us through the whole process she was nice sweet great carisma honestly I came for just a storage and received awesome customer service a lot of information. Naoki, the representative, was incredibly knowledgeable and provided me with detailed information regarding the storage unit's size, space, and the necessary boxes!! The team, especially brittney helped me with getting the storage setup and was very helpful in getting the information i needed and quickly. i lost my keys to the lock and they were prompt to securely open my locker and help with my mistake. i’ve had many storage units and this is my favorite. also a very clean facility.

Super easy set up online and great customer service in-person and online. Brittany helped us with our move-in and showing us to our unit. Took maybe 20 minutes. The units and store are clean and easy to navigate. And Brittany’s coworker helped me out on the phone before we arrived. Great experience.

Niyokei Whyte was amazing. I had thoughtlessly left my cylinder lock in my luggage and needed to open my unit. She spent 25 min. cutting the lock (it’s super secure) with a drill while calmly fielding customer service calls that came in. She’s a credit to this company!

This was by far the best and easiest check in. I was super lost but Jeannie helped me. They was super nice, even came down to show me the location of my unit. The staff was so kind, extremely glad I went with this location. Highly recommend it to everyone!
