The menu is fabulous! The Atmos is fabulous! The food was cooked beautifully! We had the big veg brekkie, Cuban Benedict, and nourish bowl and a milkshake. The only downside was that parts of the dishes were forgotten about and came out 10 mins after the food was served. They were apologetic and it was totally fine. 9:30am on a Sunday and it was busy but not busting at the seams so we got served quickly and found somewhere to sit.

Was very excited to hear of a new coffee shop in Ivanhoe! The interior was so welcoming and very impressive, a lovely layout and the staff seemed very well oriented. We were served by a girl with short blonde hair who was absolutely lovely. She was very attentive and more than happy to help us out with any questions regarding allergies. All the staff seemed lovely but we were served by this girl in particular, the food was also fantastic, the pancakes (labelled as hotcakes) are well worth the trip! Presentation was absolutely amazing and was so pleased with the consistent quality of food and drinks (the butterfly latte is so good!). Such a nice spot in Ivanhoe and well-priced as well! Will be returning!

Love this place, always has super yummy food and beautiful chai. Accommodating to gluten intolerances. Staff are really nice and helpful too. Unfortunately it is quite echo-y and it does get loud. If you have any auditory processing issues just be mindful of this at busy times.

On the main drag of Ivanhoe but there is a free parking lot behind the shop.

Been there multiple times. Food is generally good. Their Acai bowl is phenomenal. The big brekkie option is great as well. However, during my last visit I ordered shakshuka but was surprised to receive a bowl of bean soup with eggs instead. I must admit it was deliciois, but it certainly didn't resemble the traditional shakshuka. Outdoor tables are also available with plenty of parking. The service is good and friendly as well.

Decided to give this place a go instead of our regular Foreigner. BIG MISTAKE. Waited 40mins for food. Decided to ask the waitress for an update as tables next to us who ordered way later were finishing their meals by this point. The waitress went to check and clearly our docket was missing. She then just walked past us and went to do her own stuff. I had to walk up to her to ask what's going on and she rolled her eyes and said it's coming. No apology no explanation. Horrific customer service. Food was sadly also average and not even hot. Waste of time and money. Not coming back.

Friendly staff, nice environment and I kept wanting the food to be amazing but it just doesn’t hit the mark. All the plates were edible and you wouldn’t say bad but all meals lacked seasoning, and a balance of flavour. The avocado had cucumber and spring onion added to bulk it out but didn’t make sense and didn’t work. There was fresh raw chilies on all meals and on breakfast item for no season and no clarity between the dishes being a breakfast item or a salad. Would love to see the quality and menu improve to match the environment and the friendly staff.

Interesting and tasty panko eggs for lunch, and a generous Big Breakfast for my guest too. Staff friendly and super-efficient at this busy time of year. Pleased to note the music was ambient and not competing with conversation.

Amazing place!!!! They always pick up the phone <3 I drive from up north a few minutes out of my way because I can always phone my order in, many coffee shops don't bother picking up If you're heading into work in the city I highly recommend They even make a bit hotter so it's not cold when you arrive & they saved my number as a regular which makes you feel that extra bit special when they know your name

Austrian Style Cinnamon Toast with Poached Pear, Eggs Benedict

Extracted didn’t quite work for us unfortunately. My big breakfast with avocado was just ok I thought. My partner’s corn fritters were the same. We were very eager to like the dishes but they fell rather short flavour wise we thought. They were generously sized though and very reasonably priced. The coffee was OK but not a standout. Service was a bit up and down.

Warm and friendly service. Nice coffee, chai was a little weak for our taste but overall drinks were good. Great gluten free options for breakfast and lunch. All the food was really tasty. We’ll definitely be back to try it again.

Great new cafe on Ivanhoe's high street (Heidelberg Rd). I'm giving my espresso a 9 out of 10. My girlfriends magic was solid. And the Wagyu burger is one of the best I have had in a long time. Great service. 1 year on and Extracted is still our favourite. Consistency is the word that comes to.mind: service, coffees and food quality. Thanks team.

As you enter the cafe, you see friendly smiles from the staff. The menu for food and drinks are quite extensive. Ordered a latte and wagyu beef burger, it was delicious. The restaurant is nice and clean and feels comfortable. Will definitely visit again

Came here over the weekend with my family. I ended up ordering The Cuban which I thought was subpar at best. Not sure if it was my tastebuds or the meat quality or sauce, but I didn't like it at all. In saying that, the service, coffee and atmosphere was nice. I'm sorry to say, but I won't be coming back.

What a friendly and yummy place to start your day!! One of the best Mocha Lattes in town. The food flavour is amazing, great flavours and delicious and crispy chips. My son loved the hot pancakes, he ate super fast haha...highly recommended!

Started well was greeted by the man making coffee, I assume the owner. Then had to wait ten minutes for a menu, was not asked if I wanted a drink. Staff were dull and lacked passion and drive. Left and went to Foreigner around the corner.

Extracted doesn't reinvent the wheel, but does the classics VERY well. The food is very tasty, the plates look pretty without being obnoxious, and the service is fast and attentive. Definitely a great first experience with this place
