Not sure how to give a 4.5, but would if could. FC is a great addition to the many coffee shops on the Parade or nearby. Staff are really friendly and welcoming - I often meet my parents there for coffee and last time I went in by myself for takeaway they said to say hello to them, nice and genuine service. Plenty of room and comfortable chairs, pity not often more full as more spacious and pleasant layout than nuts few doors down. Highly recommended, great coffee and toast also ! Edit: tried to increase rating 5, but it won't change up. 5vstars

Super lovely cafe with friendly staff and a comfortable atmosphere! I spent around 3 hours sitting at one of the many tables studying on my laptop and it was a wonderful place to just exist around other people. The music and general vibes of the cafe are very chill and relaxing. The staff were super nice and offered me water a few times and the food and drinks I had over the time I was here were all really tasty (I especially loved the fruit smoothie they do). Definitely a great cafe <3

The owner is extremely thoughtful towards little children. Also, their babyccino is free (and approved by my child as it contains 2 marshmallows) which is a plus for me ;) Their chai latte is absolutely yummy too; made with real loose leaf. They bake their own croissant; the smell overtakes the entire street. Very big atmosphere; perfect for moms with prams/wheelchair. They also have a library section. Close to the station too. They also got their own bathroom (some cafes around Blackburn tend to not have one).

Great coffee and good service. The ambience is good and we can spend some peaceful time with our coffee. They have a book shelf that has books for both adults and kids. Their Chicken avo sandwich is amazing and usually sells out soon. A humble suggestion - it will be great if they add wifi and some additional electrical power sockets, so we can choose to work/study. Thanks.

Blackburn local coffee shop. Good coffee with some limited coffee and hot food options. Indoor and outdoor seating. Some seats inside have access to power to charge phones and laptops. Not too noisy, so can work there, but a little too loud with ambient noise to do conference calls, etc. Friendly service, reasonably priced.

Great customer service and really friendly staff who in my experience go that extra mile to really make you experience worthwhile. Best iced coffee on the strip, a bit pricey but delicious. Service is also quite speedy. Croissants are absolutely delicious. the cafe interior is clean and modern and they use paper straws which is great. highly reccomended!!

A lovely intimate cafe. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very clean and well presented. Friendly staff who always treat you so well, even if you are only buying a coffee! Not a huge menu, but great coffee and food. As a local who visits often, I highly recommend.⭐

A spacious cafe, with a variety of pastry and deserts. However, I do not recommend the coffee. Just a couple of shops away a cheaper coffee with the best taste. Just Search "Nuts about Coffee". This does not mean they can't improve. I will try them again in a month time and will review my comment.

I love the chocolate shake and the chicken wrap Such a good combo.

I agree with Benjamin Wong - The Fat Cup is good ,very good service and coffee. However I totally disagree about most other cafes where coffee is burnt. What a load of nonsense - One rarely gets coffee burnt these days - in fact there is some excellent coffee to be had in Blackburn

Ricky and Lee are a charismatic duo always helping to brighten up my morning. Ricky’s perfectionism for coffee shines, with every cup being the right temperature, and never burnt. Hands down the best coffee in Blackburn.

Great service - the staff are wonderful. They cautioned us about the freshly brewed tea being hot and offered free refills. Love the atmosphere - great for catch ups with people or just to spend a few quiet hours alone with the books on their bookshelf. Highly recommend.

Very unaccommodating would’t let us sit down for a 20min sit down coffee with over 45mins until closing time. Lady was rude and coffee was only just warm. Will certainly NOT be recommending this coffee shop.

I visited this cafe with friends 2 days in a row, it has a relaxed friendly atmosphere. A big plus was a library of books to browse and swap with your own, how great is that. Coffee was top quality too, will definitely be back when next in the area.

Great ambience, great location. Nice little library and spacious with great coffee and snack. I was brought here by an old couple friends and I like it immediately. Friendly owner, Ricky for Macao. If you are around Blackburn Station, do drop it.

Does well to compete with the range of hipster cafes along the same street. No cooked food, only sandwiches, foccaccias and the like. Coffee is excellent and nice vibe with a community bookshelf. Great for a coffee and a read.

Fat Cup is an amazing local cafe that serves great hot chocolates! The boss is also super nice and remembers my name the prices are also fair!

A nice surprise in Blackburn. Sleek interior and one of the best iced coffees in the area. An ideal local spot to enjoy a coffee and cake away from the noise. Staff are lovely and we'll definitely be back.

I was in the area for my sons tennis so popped in for a coffee, what a great cafe. Lovely staff and good coffee and banana bread. Bonus was free babychino! Will visit again next time I’m in the area.
