There are many restaurants and cafes in Warrandyte and having returned to this one after many years, I was pleasantly surprised how good it is. Located on the east side of the shopping area, set back from the road, FFAS has an extensive menu that frankly, I didn’t know what to choose because it all looked so great. In the end I had a chicken Caesar salad and my daughter had a chunky beef pie with salad and wedges. The portion sizes were fabulous and extremely generous. Taste - excellent. And a note that the side salad wasn’t just lettuce and a slice of cucumber - it had beetroot, tomato, carrot and mushroom. You don’t see that every day. What stood out for me though was the staff and their interaction with customers. Genuine. Thoughtful. Efficient. Good old fashioned customer service. You can dine indoors or out under the large brollies - either is nice. We will return. Notes: wheelchair friendly (there was actually a diner in a wheelchair so I know it’s accessibility), toilets available but not wheelchair accessible. Kid friendly. Good parking it the front or across the road on the river side.

What I liked about this cafe was it managed to cater to my gluten free, lactose free and no garlic, onion etc really well. I ordered a burger which had chicken and good gluten free bread etc. It came with a real salad, not just limp lettuce and tomato but other yummy things. Just ask for some balsamic vinegar to add to it if you like. The selection of GF cakes is very good too. Other things which impressed us are the milk shakes, and the coffee was good. Because there were plenty of kitchen staff, our meals didn't take long before they appeared. My friends loved their food too.

Great service from the elderly lady! The food was quick and amazing. We did a hike at wonga park and had brunch here. They serve all day breakfast. Among the meals we had pancakes, scrambled eggs and mushrooms, quiche, ham, cheese and tomato toasties and most importantly the scones!!! Really recommend it

This place is a wonderful cafe with a great atmosphere. The coffee was some of the best I’ve ever had. The staff were so helpful and accommodating when our group of 10 loved our coffee so much that we decided to have lunch here as well. The food was delicious and they got it out to us quickly. Special mention to the wedges, they were the best we had ever had!

All seasons restaurant gave to me and another 3 people around the table scrambled eggs made from eggs powder. It was disgusting and I felt disrespectful to eat something like that. Contrary’s to what the restaurant manager said, I know perfectly what we ate… the eggs powders from which he made us the scrambled eggs. He should admit it and not deny.

A very, very pleasant cafe run by very nice people. Highly recommended. Three extraordinary things happened at this cafe today. 1. I actually received a pot of hot water with my tea which is rare indeed nowadays! 2. My friend's beer came with a chilled beer glass! 3. The owner popped over to our table to say we had been mistakenly overcharged and promptly refunded us $25 - his son had made the mistake at the till.

Well all 7 of us and 2 well behaved pooches had a great lunch. special mention of the apple pie it was like big and well worth the coin. Wouldn't mind to go back again and try the salmon cakes. And the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I went there yesterday. My boyfriend and I had a Scone. It was delicious. So soft , warm , flaky and flavorful. My boyfriend is from US, he had a lot of scone and he said was one of the best he ever had, the whipped cream and jam were also so delicious and fresh. I also had a chai latte, was very nice as well.

One of my parents favourite little eateries The African Curried Chicken Soup is there favourite dish . The Chicken Caesar Salad is Gr8 . Lovely outlook outside overlooking the Yarra River. Lovely Owners who Treat there customers very well . Dog Friendly. Enjoy

Beautiful local restaurant with wholesome and fresh food. We love the salty chips and milk shakes and a gorgeous cuppa. Always feels homely and welcoming. Fab the owner is kind and warm. We have been coming for a few decades and always have a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

5 stars if I could have afforded the food more easily. It was just a little pricey for me. But really really excellent, so I'm sure worth it. Best café coffee in years. Beautiful handmade pastries. Really nice furniture, friendly staff. A real treat with sense of occasion.

An amazing little cafe that serves all day breakfast and meals across the river! The staff was friendly and nice and the food was delicious! We ordered a chicken wrap, pancakes and kids food, and everything tasted freshly cooked! Would definitely recommend!

Excellent breakfast and launch. Coffee is also great. Local, small cafe/restaurant with friendly staff where, nice and quiet environment. The quality and portion of food was really good. I highly recommend checking this cafe for launch and breakfast.

I've been eating here for the past 13 years. The food is consistently lovely as is the service & they actually know how to make a good pot of tea with extra hot eater supplied without having to ask for it. A pleasant outlook & outdoor area too !

The staff were crazy busy due to being allowed open but they had so much energy and took time to check ingredient lists for allergies. Food servings were huge for the price, photos dont do justice. Very kind and generous family own business.

Beautiful little cafe/restaurant across the road from the river. The staff where very friendly and we where served with some really great food. I highly recommend checking it out i will definitely be back for another meal with my family.

Very efficient and friendly staff. My quiche and salad was delicious - the pastry was crisp flaky and not too thick. My friends Shepherd Pie was also very good.
