Beautiful view. Nice trail for walking and or biking, or winter sport. Trails going down to, Our River Valley MUST not be touched by businesses in them. Want coffee bring with you and enjoy a peaceful Natural River Valley in the heart of Edmonton. Keep it untouched, nature is the best medicine, we all need it. It should remain free for all to use! If you want a walk, jog, bike etc, then stop to have coffee, as I said bring your own. Or gather some friends and enjoy your untouched Nature walking, jogging, cross country skiing, dog sledding.. to a Neighborhood near by. Stop in to their cafe, pizza shop, etc... Gather there and have your coffe, snack, lunch or dinner. Make business in neighbourhoods thrive, all this will be keeping our beautiful jewel of the River Valley, Natural, peaceful and FREE for all to enjoy. VOTE NO to changing our River Valley's. Vote yes to the peaceful walking, running, biking etc outing ending at a, because of you, new neighbourhood cafe, etc. Or support an old one, they would live to see you! Neighbourhoods need more shops, cafes, and places to eat. Let's tell City Hall To work on that, rather than destroying nature. Once gone, gone forever!.

Love the point point of the city from this park but I recently had my dog on a leash and peace officers drove across the field to warn me that they should be ticketing me for having my dog on the field watching a baseball game. I called 311 to confirm this was legit and not BS. 311 also confirmed this. Previous to stopping to watch the ball game, I walked the pathways with my dog and so no such signs telling me other wise. I am more than offended of how this was treated with absolutely no signage advising me otherwise.

Forest Heights Dental "The Poem" Warm and welcoming when we walked in Both of my young boys had places to play The fish tank was cute, aquatic life for the win Great Life West covered the visit, so no need to pay The Dentist can be scary, that's the honest truth Mine weren't scared even though both had a loose tooth. Dad was occupied, the free WiFi helps with the wait If I had to sum up our visit, I'd say that this place was great!

Nice paths to the river valley and leading up to the footbridge past McNally school that goes over the Riverside golf course road. The park itself is very large, and is open. You can see just about everything in the park from the street, so you should feel safe going alone in this park. There is a tennis court as well not far from the McNally parking lot.

Decent entryway into the river valley trails. Couple of softball diamonds and the McNally High running track at the 84 St east side. There's a porta-potti at the 101 Ave side which is your main point into the trails with nearby parking. You can also enter the valley from north of the school. Ultimately it's a park, field and trees. Make your own fun.

We love playing tennis here, the court is surrounded by lots of greeneries, the coolest court in Edmonton I've played at so far. The only down side is...you have to make sure to put mosquito repellant if you are playing tennis in the evening, and there's no washroom, porty potty is available nearby as last & only resort.

Great park with multi use trails. There is also tennis courts. There is no washroom facilities. Lots of green open spaces. Ample parking spaces available. Part of the park has an area to get great views of downtown Edmonton. Just a really nice place to visit and have a leisurely stroll on the trails.

Nice quiet place to spend an evening with friends and family. Also you can go for a walk or bike ride or take your dog fur a walk. The views of downtown Edmonton is fantastic especially on the backdrop of the setting sun. The meandering North Saskatchewan river adds to the tranquility of the place.

My local park. Lots of urban wildlife sightings. Great lookouts. Users are sometimes a pain - eg no bells on bikes, poorly trained dogs, inattentive minders of little kids, folks who refuse to socially distance on trail. But the non people aspects of the park make for a good walking location.

  • Carito Conde

Nice park but not family friendly. Love the view of the valley but the park needs some toilets. I had to walk from the school to the tennis court (800m) with a toddler who needed to pee, just to get to a portable toilet. My kid almost couldn't go because was afraid of it.

Nice park if you want to go for a relaxing walk or stand on the edge to watch the sun rise or set or want to watch fireworks. It's relaxing, not much noise. Great park to go for a run around and then leads down to the river valley if you want to hit the trails.

  • Darrin Downey

This is a serene place to walk. On the one side there's the beautiful view of downtown and the river valley, and on the other are elegant and stately homes. The paved path meanders with graceful curves and my tree friends on either side beacon me to say hello.

  • Daniel Blais

Another great place to take a walk with the family. Stop at the memorial benches near the school and enjoy a great scenic view of the city. The paths along the river are great and well maintained. Our family really enjoys walking along the river valley.

  • Mitchell Kofluk

Really great view, and a nice leisurely place. Good for walking (with or without ), and cycling, but there tends to be litter sometimes, so that's not great. But the path is non-linear so that adds character. Overall, very pretty in the summer. …

Nice peaceful quiet place ,just tucked away east of the downtown!!With trails, forested area, and river valley near by ,make this park a true gem of this city !!:)I caught a crazy dust devil here like the size of a tornado at this very park in 2017.

  • Mary

This is a huge fabulous park with a stunning view of the river valley. It has a paved walkway, a soccer field, a football field and tennis courts. Benches are placed strategically along the walking path to allow people to pause to enjoy the view.

  • Colby

A super great park. There are many walking trails, biking trails, and an abundance of shared use trails. Super easy to get to and there is a decent sized parking lot. Parts of the park give you stunning views towards downtown.

We had just a very different, amazing, relaxing moments here. It is April towards the end, We started walking from Dawson Park, passed the Dawson Bridge, and climbed to the forest height, and this beautiful scene appeared!

My child loves Coming here. It’s a lovely beautiful fresh new look for the area. We came last weekend and there was even an event going on with the food trucks. Seemed pretty interesting and fun to watch.

  • Aaron J. JacksonCrabb

Awesome views of river valley and East end of the City. Terrific walking or riding trails. A couple of soccer fields, baseball diamonds and a dirt track. And when tired pick a bench to rest yourself.

  • Hammad Tawfig

This an amazing place to take your dogs for a walk. If you like to snap amazing photos of Edmonton, winter or summer, this without a doubt one must photo spot. I took some pictures to prove it.

  • Simon Speichert

Don't stand too close to the edge! This park is slumping into the river valley. Slumps of the past couple years have drastically altered some of the trails. Great times on a mountain bike.

  • Luis Mendez

Great bike trails, difficult if you are beginner on Mountain biking, have seen expert guys bending rims.!! Lovely walks and scenery if dont wanna ride. bring your GoPro and have fun..!

  • Leon

We came here to play tennis! There are only four courts but there's a good amount of parking right beside it. Lights come on automatically when it gets to nighttime.

  • Bob Singh

Only looking at your neighbor's house or the ubiquitous suburban development will depress you. So get out for a good view and hike! Forest Heights is the place!!!

  • Caitlyn Elliott

This park is beautiful! It doesn't look like much from the road but the path is lovely and there are lots of little trails off the main path to explore!

  • Dreaming Traveller

One of the most beautiful views of downtown. Also good place for walking and biking. Good vistas from everywhere, but sometimes obstructed by trees.

  • Dynamight Boom

The scenery is quite beautiful but.. the walking places are dirty most of the time.. My only warning is to watch out for the trash or the puke..

  • Kevin Kofluk

Very nice area. Well looked after. Spectacular views of downtown and river valley. An additional walking path on the east would be great.

  • C

Nice treed area, boundaries are open so if your dog's off leash be careful. I don't think you can have dogs off leash here, but oh well!

  • Eric Dostie
