Superb green area full of beautiful flowers and trees providing a secluded, safe and peaceful tracks. There are so many beautiful spots to be explored. It is great walking, cycling lanes. There are some ponds and areas for fishing. Also a lot of history and folk history - apparently ghosts haunting some parts of the place! :-)
It is a really beautiful park. It can be spent alone or with the family. Always clean and well maintained. Enjoyable in good weather✨. Farm Shop days are extra fun. Perfect for coffee and walking. It is exciting to see the fascinating trees. I'm happy to have Forth Hall Country Park near me …
Lovely park for walks and has a nice natural terrain park for kids with wooden build structures. Good wire slide but a real shame they locked it up for school holidays. Note the park opens earlier (9) than the house and cafe so don't wait till 11 to visit. Grounds are big with nice mix of open space and tree areas.
Beautiful large park with a lovely mix of formal gardens (walled garden has year-round colour), wide grass areas, river and lakeside walks. Woodland play area, cafe, museum and toilets. Ducks, geese, herons and cormorants. Free car park. Something for everyone! Wonderful in the Autumn.
A beautiful and easily accessible place for a walk and a great place to relax. Woodland and parkland, streams and lakes and a fabulous ornamental garden surrounding the old house. Dog owners take note: please train your dogs to poop in your own garden before you leave.
Always a fun day out at Forty Hall. Our recent visit was for a mini summer music festival in the garden. The kids loved it; we enjoyed sitting in the sunshine and listen to great live music. It's cheap and cheerful and very popular with the locals.
A very peaceful and relaxing place to have a picnic or go for a walk. The old house in the park is also a discoverable building was really interesting to enter the house. Has a flower garden and small lake. Less dogs compared to other places.
Forty Hall country park is full of such wonderful things to explore but ai particularly love walking my St Bernard here! There is ample space to be be on or off lead (in designated spots), a handy car park which leads perfectly to where we
Despite the grey English summer, there's always colour and vibrancy at Forty Hall from the Farm, farm shop with organic foods for sale, gardens (walled and open) picnic areas, ducks & geese (and this time of year broods of goslings picking
This really is a lovely park that's free to visit and explore. The route of the London Loop passes along one side of the park but there are many different paths to explore. If you're looking for a river walk, woodlands, open fields or a
You may need a car, or a long walk to get here, but the stroll around the gardens is worth it. You can explore the neat and light-drenched interiors in less than an hour-- they have kept many of the 17th century features too.
Beautiful country park near Enfield. It has a nice coffee house, a large parking space and the house is quite beautiful. It is also a great base to start some walks through the greener side of Enfield.
Cold wet and raining but it's still a beautiful place for a stroll round with the dogs. The pathways were a bit muddy and water logged in places but little and far between.
Interesting medieval country house with fine gardens, lake, farm shop cafe and large estate with longer walks. Very good access for people with physical disabilities.
Went for a bike ride to have my lunch. Loads of space so very easy to keep your distance from other park users. The closest people to us were about 70 yards away.
Beautiful place, stunning gardens and a great dog walking destination The old country house is well worth a visit. Plenty of parking especially early mornings.
Lots of different walks to do here either along the river, through the the woods or around the walled garden which is immaculately kept with beautiful flowers
A great green space on the edges of North London, great for a dog walk and a coffee. Park at Forty Hall and walk by the river to Beggars Hollow.
I have been there for the first time, to do photo session, and we had a such good time, the place are so beautiful and quiet with parking free.
A beautiful country park and gardens with a particularly interesting house and history. All free. Good parking and close to M25/A10 junction.
I visited here in September 2022 as part of walking the London Loop route around London. This is a large park with lots of areas to explore.
A very pleasant wander around the park in the sunshine. Wonderful to see the baby Egyptian geese and their attentive parents by the lake.
Enjoyed a relaxing afternoon here, the farmers market was a nice Surprise and the house and grounds are kept well and well worth a visit.
Beautiful place to walk especially on such a lush day with the weather. The walled garden was a particularly pretty place to have a picnc
