To start I have been to this location 2 or 3 times to look around. Everything they have is beautiful. I have seen many things I have wanted for my home. Yesterday I went in to look one more time at some barstools I had seen a week earlier. I was met with a warm smile from Angie who greeted me when I came into the show room. I showed her what I had come to look at and she immediately offered to get a measuring tape so I would have an idea of the dimensions. She had me take some photos while she did this and I told her I thought I would be back that evening to purchase them; however rush-hour traffic prevented this. So today I went back in and met Beth who smiled and welcomed me into the store. They had several of the same style I wanted and Beth helped me select 2 of them even pulling down a few for us to look at. Before we went to check out I mentioned I was also looking for something to use as a Tennis Shoe rack. (And I will just go ahead and say, A Fancy Tennis Shoe Rack). She walked me right to it! BOOM! I was sold. As I was checking out I met Sandra who was a delight. I made 2 trips home which worked out, as Beth could take her time wrapping the glass shelves up so that they would not be damaged on the second trip home. She was Meticulous! Then I met Adam who assisted myself and Beth getting things into my car. Before I pulled away curbside Beth thanked me so much for my business and even gave me a big hug telling me she looked forward to seeing me again soon. What a lovely experience! I live in Pennsylvania and when I come to Charlotte, I always visit the Frontgate outlet store because they have great merchandise and even greater prices. Today I went in to purchase some items and after checking out, I was excited to see that I had spent less than I had planned to. In my excitement, I told the store associate that I was going back to get additional items. As I was getting the additional items, another store associate came over to me and asked me if I had checked out already and I said yes I did but I decided to buy more items he then looked in my cart and then looked in my bag (with what I thought was a look of, well let me not judge just yet) and said well I guess you can do a second check out (duh, why wouldn’t I, I did pick up other items) anyway I said yes I will. As I continued to shop I could see him watching me at that point I just went to the counter to check out with the additional items I decided to buy . I begin to speculate that maybe he was singling me out because I am African-American and because I am Muslim. Of course I do not know if this is why he was singling me out, but it felt very deliberate and it was disrespectful at best. I will continue to shop at Frontgate as I am hoping that somehow I was wrong and that his intention was just to help me which is what I was told when I called the store to complain. Perception is everything, and how you approach the people that patronize your store regardless of what you think they are or are not doing should be handled with tact and discretion. #dobetter

Love the deals and the products you can find here. But I have had several visits where the customer service is either hit or miss. At times your made to feel you are interrupting a meeting behind the counter with 4 sales people. They give you a look like “how dare you interrupt us” and other times they are quite courteous. My last visit with my husband was traumatizing. We wanted to buy several real rugs but we were not supposed to open the plastic to see the colors. Glad we did anyway because what looked gray/blue online was green. Then trying to use my 2 rewards of $375 from previous purchases (thousands I have spent with Frontgate) became an issue. Lots of rules to these rewards. Which is fine but we were trying to understand those rules and had 3 different opinions from the staff on them. Anyway long story but in the end one of the customer service girls got very aggressive and rude. It was combative and my husband was shocked. I told him I’ve had some seriously bad experiences here and he finally got to see it in action. It’s a shame because I love to shop there. Someone just seriously needs to monitor their customer service. Hope the owner and managers read this!

We’ve been to this location several times and purchased different items- bar stools, artwork, flowers, rug. This week we purchased a bar hutch which we love, the purchasing process was terrible. The staff is non engaging, when you ask them for help, or questions about their items, they were rude and indifferent. When I asked for help w packaging- “we don’t have wrapping material” which was not the same experience we’ve had on multiple occasions, very helpful to wrap and load in car. I’ve never experienced 3 people in retails sales that could absolutely care less if we were in the store, bought anything, I felt ignored and uninvited to spend $1200 on Chest and sheets. We really second guessing the ours he’s simply due to the buying experience. Even worse , The sheets when I washed completed unraveled in the back... not the quality I would expect. Overall, the old manager and her staff made it an enjoyable shopping experience bc she cared- about the store, her employees and most about her customers. We won’t be returning to this Frontgate and recommend you think twice about how you wanted to be treated as a consumer and how much your willing to pay for it..

I was a customer of Frontgate for many years and the quality of merchandise and customer service was exceptional. I was thrilled when the outlet opened and will share that my experiences have been like roller coasters (up and down). The staff is either super friendly or super rude which is a direct reflection of the Manager of the Store. The merchandise pricing is marked up (much higher than the catalog price) with a changing percent discount weekly and is scratched, dented and in some cases completely damaged. This is an OUTLET, not a retail store and the price should reflect outlet prices without the weekly changing discount scale. I have found some great furniture pieces at Frontgate and have recommended this outlet to several people. My last experience was not good and I will not be recommending this outlet to anyone in the future. Just to confirm, this is an OUTLET and dented, damaged, returned, broken, scratched furniture should not be marked at full retail price EVER !!!!!

When you find a deal here — it is a deal for sure — but make sure you check every inch of the piece. It is an outlet, so it makes sense that not everything is absolutely pristine, but many of the pieces have dings/scratches/stains…or all in all appear to have already been loved. The linens are usually lovely — but the price deals are not what I could consider deals. When we visited in August 2023 to see about the “outdoor deals” — 50% off outdoor — one of the melamine trays we liked was still $60-70 on sale. Frontgate prices are typically higher based on the brand and presumed quality, but the outlet does not seem to carry the same discount that it once did. Go in with an open mind that you are not likely to find AMAZING deals like you once did — but you could get someone of a deal on expensive pieces.

I was disappointed after calling to see if they had any canopy umbrellas available to purchase. I spoke to a friendly associate who said they had one, so before I drove 40 minutes to buy it. I asked her to make sure it was functional and didn’t have any scratches or gashes as I’m aware this is an outlet. After she said she checked, I drove up to find out that the said umbrella had no crank and wasn’t functional without one, and the manufacturer couldn’t send me one. If a store is going to sell products that do not function, I feel associates should know which products don’t work so we can not waste each other’s time. I’ve spent a lot of money at this store and also when it was at the location at Southpark, and really expected more than everyone just shrugging their shoulders and saying they’re sorry.

Was shopping for furniture, walked up to this store at 5:54 and a lady helping a customer said “ladies we close at 6.” Cool, it’s 5:54. Walked in and did a lap, not seeing a nightstand that I liked. They had the automatic doors off at 5:56. Listen, in today’s retail environment with stores closing and online being the main avenue people shop, you’d think that locking your doors early on a Saturday when people are walking in to buy something specific wouldn’t be the strategy, but to each their own! Hope the money you saved in payroll made up for the lost sales of me and another couple entering at the same time.

I am sad to say this but the staff there are not friendly as if they feel bad you are buying their stuff with less money . I had an incident today after I purchased two bathroom floor rugs the lady at the register counter told me they don’t have a shopping bag for me to carry my merchandise and she is sorry as they are heavy .i assured her it’s ok. On my way out I stopped to check another item I found the same lady giving other customers shopping bags with less heavy stuff. It’s really a silly incident but it reflects a racist attitude and unacceptable behavior.

I traveled 10 miles to frontgate outlet with my 3 year old. The store said it was open online. The door was locked with a sign on the door saying closed for inventory. I called the number on front and explained the situation. The woman who answered the phone offered no apology and said they would not be opened for another 4 to 5 hours (it's 11:30 am now). I'm really disappointed with the lack of customer service and that this closed inventory stock was not posted online. The recommendation is call before you go so you don't waste your time like I did.

Know what you're looking for and be prepared for sales to change quickly. My family has several pieces of furniture from Frontgate and all are very high quality that will last a long time (leather, hardwood etc). If you play your cards right, you can find an amazing deal. The chairs and barstools are especially of note. Below are my most recent buys, super cute, sturdy and high quality. They also swivel and have a metal piece where people can put their feet up on that protects the wood from damage. Highly recommend

Every time I’ve visited this store, I get the warmest greeting. Everyone is always pleasant and helpful. Not only that, if they have the time, they will help you to hunt down merchandise or find options that may work better. I’ll continue to shop there whenever I’m looking for furniture. Yes, it’s a little pricey but most of their goods are excellent quality and the deep discounts does help. My thanks to everyone that works there.

It is always a pleasant experience at Frontage outlet. The employees are pleasant., I haven’t been there for a while but someone seems to recognize me and greats me like a long lost friend. This store is dangerous!! I could spend thousands here!! Their items are normally dent/ding/scratch/etc here but not always visible. So baby different options, they have outdoor, indoor furniture, pool items, seasonal holiday items. Staff is really helpful. Give yourself at least 30/45 minutes to visit Frontgate Outlet. There is so much to see inside!

We have made a number of purchases at this outlet. We are very happy with the items and all the staff, especially Adam and Mary. They have gone out of their way to help us on every occasion we have visited. From a warm greeting all the way to helping us load our purchases into our vehicle, the professionism and courtesy are always at the forefront.

Frontgate Outlet is one of my favorite furniture stores. They have great sales, really items and the staff are really nice and helpful. It's always nice to see them when I shop there. I’ve seen better outlet stores with quality furniture. Frontgate Prices are insanely high! The product isn’t worth 1/4 of the prices they’re putting on these things! Ridiculous!!!

Most products are high end. You can only return electronics. I call and ask what the percentages are for that day. This helps if you are looking for something specific.

High end products but lots of them are damaged or dinged. All sales are final so I didn't purchase anything. I doubt I'll be back - too risky for the prices.

Quality products at a reduced price. I honestly couldn't afford paying the retail price for most of these items but at 50% off, that's a different story.

Chairs broke after the 1 year warranty period. They have no replacement parts and just blew me off. Poor quality product that they dont stand behind.
