I wish I could give them a zero. Steve not sure if he's manager or not, however they messed up and delivered the wrong box spring, said they would be back in the morning. As of noon the box spring hadn't arrive and no one called. I called the store where Steve tried to fast talk to me. Every time I asked a question he rudely interrupted me. I asked for a time he said he couldn't tell me. We were the last delivery of the day Friday night so we most definitely should have been the first delivery. Steve wasn't apologetic for the inconvenience and than had the nerve to raise his voice and continue to over talk me. By that point I'm irritate and we basically begin to yell back and forth at each other. I was very disgruntled because not one time did he apology just kept making excuses blaming the delivery people. A good manager would have said ma'am let me call to get you a estimate time. at this point I believe he was already frustrated and took it out on me. Your 3rd party vendor or whoever made a mistake you fix it don't place blame on YOUR third party vendor. Apology and move on. Don't yell and disrespect the customer STEVE!!! THE SAD PART OF IT IS MY DAUGHTER LIVES IN MY HOME! I'M THE ONE WHO REFERRED HER BECAUSE OF STEVE CUSTOMER SERVICE. SO WHAT I GATHERED FROM THIS EXPERIENCE IS MR STEVE DOESN'T LIKE TO BE WRONG OR CORRECTED. HE NEEDS TO LEARN TO TAKE CONSTRUCTIZE CRITICISM. HAD HE NOT BEGIN TO FAST TALK ME AND JUST TOOK OWNERSHIP I WOULDN'T HAD TO STEP OUT OF CHARACTER. I WILL NEVER REFER ANYONE ELSE. I'LL GO TO AUDREY'S PLACE :)

8/2/19 @ 4pm.. walked into the store and was greeted by the manager.. I walked around for a bit and then I heard the manager and employee talking loudly. Manager just tearing into employee about how they should greet customers and how the last guy that did it wrong was fired. On and on they went, like no one was there. Finally, I hear the employee say "why are you treating me like some drug addict". More conversation, he berates her more. She grabs her bag and says I will be back later for my things and my money. The manager, played it cool and said, sure no problem, itll be here. I laughed and walked around asking question about furniture, but the guy had no real intention of helping me. Possibly cause I was in my gym clothes and he assumed I wasn't looking for anything. Even though I'm looking for a lot. Anyway, the manager was super unprofessional and just overall a *****. I leave the store and as the only customer, he follows behind, jumps in his jeep and speeds away. Not sure if the employee/ manager had a thing outside of work, but the "manager" was super unprofessional and I would never buy anything from this place.

I wish I could leave a zero too. We had a great first experience with the East Washington location but there was different staff then. This time Steve, the manager, was friendly during our visit but once the chairs arrived we quickly realized these weren't the right chairs. We told deliver guys and called Steve. Steve hung up on us, wouldn't let us get a word in during the conversation, and took everything like a personal attack versus a business transaction. We talked to Mike too who we think is the regional manager but he too wanted to debate our order then not give us a full refund as noted in a previous conversation. Several other employees that we talked to at the Lafayette store when calling to reach Steve's manager agreed that Steve is a hot head. These exchanges are not professional or accurate from the customers perspective. Won't be back!

My husband and I was looking for a large sectional for the right price and we found it at furniture discounters on East Washington street. From the time we entered the store (15 min before closing) to the end of our purchasing transaction it was nothing short of an amazing experience. Steve was very helpful and just pleasant all the way around even though we walked in right before closing. My issue is.. we just can’t seem to get a date of when our furniture will be ready for pick up. We are now going on 2 weeks and we still do not have a date. When you pay for something no matter the price you don’t really want to wait over 2 weeks for it. It’s disappointing. If it weren’t for the price I would definitely want a refund ASAP just for the unprofessionalism. Could be out of his hands, but as a professional give me something more than “nothing yet”.

I went home feeling satisfied when Store Manager Steven Fagan helped me with my large purchase in August, then yesterday when I went to the store to get a set timeframe for my purchase, the same Steven was rude, unprofessional and threatened to call the police if I didn’t leave his store; my little girl was terrified and cried. I’m still working on this, but I wanted to warn anyone who’d like to shop there to please be aware. Because once you make that payment, the Steven you met before will become the ugliest human being you ever met.

I had never had to give an apology as such but i wasn’t the one who gave a bad review. Now the fearly new staff that is currently in the store has done everything possible to work wit me. The old staff is who my significant other was aiming at witch are no longer there. Miss/Mrs. Angela has been working with me to fix all problems the store manager as well as her staff. In the future this is the staff you should allow to help you out. Once again apologies are in order

Visiting Furniture Discounters was a great experience! My boyfriend and I just moved to Indy and we’re in search of a bedroom set during Fourth of July sales. Steve was able to find us exactly what we were looking for. He was straightforward with the sale, but still extremely personable, understanding, and friendly. We were given a handful of options between furniture and we were informed of all the different payment options available. We will definitely be returning!

We went looking for a sectional today. This place was our last stop. Very nice store and great staff! Found a sectional we liked and got it for a reasonable price. Also had it in stock at their warehouse! We can pick it up tomorrow! Big Lots had a waiting list. Other places I looked at on line you had to wait til Feb. or March to receive what you ordered. Also came with 1 year warranty on body and cushions! We will be shopping here again!

The experience was so amazing. The employees were incredibly friendly and helpful. We visited so many different furniture stores and they were just too intrusive did not allow us to look around. At Furniture Discounters we had plenty of time to look around not to mention they listened to what we actually needed. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for furniture to visit Furniture Discounters.

We ordered several pieces (two dining tables, dining chairs, upholstered dining chairs, sofas, two bed sets, reclining accent chair, and coffee tables) from Steven and we love them all! Steven kept us in the loop with approximate delivery times and we had several visits with the delivery teams to get everything. Because of Furniture Discounters, our house has become a home. I paid them and never received my furniture and was told they had it ready for me multiple times. I finally went to the store and after a lengthy conversation with the employee and manager they said they have the right to refuse service and refused to refund me the monies paid. I was refused service after they took my money?

Steve was the best! We lpoked at several sectionals them he said he had just the one we wanted. Took us to it and he was correct. Bought it an the chair he had placed with it. Financing the balance was easy. Got it delivered the next day. I'm sending family there as I mnow Steve will take good care of them as well.

I’ve came into the store before but I went in the other day and Steve helped out me out, great service, very helpful. He was interested in giving me the best prices on the furniture I needed and that’s what I loved. Friendly service, I got delivered in a week and I’m 100% satisfied with the pieces I ordered.

Met one of the business partners back in 1999 and the rest of the owners I had the pleasure of meeting in the store throughout the years and they are very kind and helpful... the prices are very reasonable and they have good quality Furniture I would suggest going there to check it out

From when I walked in until the next day when I decided on my bedroom set, they were super helpful!!! They also don’t pressure you into buying something you don’t want. He found me something online because I knew exactly what I wanted an had it shipped an ready for pick up in 2 days.

I'd definitely go back my husband and I just moved into a new home and Steve provided excellent service was very friendly and helpful. We got a sectional and a full bedroom set for a great price. Delivery and set up was perfect definitely will be returning in the future

Steve is a man of his word! Buying furniture during covid was different. I tried multiple stores but ONLY Steve told me what to expect, was honest, and most importantly actually delivered on time! Other companies delayed and canceled without notice but not Steve!!!
