We were looking for a new bedroom set. And we found a beautiful one at this place. The product looked very nice and the price was right. We decided to proceed with the purchase. The initial delivery was right on time and the guys, that delivered and assembled were nice and professional. We've received everything, except for one item, that wasn't ready and was expected to be delivered within couple of weeks. However, after the installation we've found damages on some of the items (the chest the vanity had visible cracks) and the bed LED lights were not functioning. A store representative came over the next day, inspected all and confirmed the damages. He promised us to replace the damaged items along with delivery of a missing bench. A months later I've contacted the store to follow up on the delivery date and that is were the problems began. For the first 2 months their excuse was, that the container didn't arrive yet. Then their delivery guys got sick with COVID. Then it was the weather. Every time I called the store, the girl on the other side of the phone claimed to be a new employee, that doesn't know anything. Promised me to check everything with her manager and get back to me. That never happened. For the 3 times the delivery was scheduled, I took days off work. No one arrived, nor even called. Last time I called and was able to get thru (it looks like they won't answer my phones anymore), I asked to speak to the manager. The manager was suppose to call me the same day, but never did (I'm waiting for his phone call for 4 days now). It's been 3 months since the initial delivery. And I even don't if I'm getting everything delivered and when. So bottom line is, if you value your time, your money and nerves, DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!!!

I made the mistake of buying a dining table set from here back in April, and I still haven’t got the chairs that I’ve ordered. Instead of the white chairs that I wanted, they gave me old grey chairs. They told me that after one week, I will receive the white chairs because they did not have them at their store or warehouse. As you may have seen from the many other reviews, they give empty promises and excuses as to why they can’t deliver my items on the previously promised date. They continue to delay the delivery date and refuse to pick up the phone. I even took a friend of mine to the store to talk directly with the owner, but the owner happens to never be at the store. I’ve gone to the store about 6 to 7 times by now in hopes of resolving all this, but every employee either refuses to discuss the issue with me or they make up another story about why my items haven’t arrived. The final straw was today, when I received a call from the store that my items would arrive sometime today. They said they will arrive with my delivery in about half an hour, but it has been 3hrs and nothing has shown up. I’ve been waiting the whole day because they did not give an exact or estimated time the first time I asked. Reading the other reviews, this is a scam business. They use the same tactics with everyone else and have no shame in what they do. I’ve lived in Canada for over 20 years, and I’ve never seen a company act this shamelessly with their customers. Please, for your own sake, listen to the reviews and don’t waste your money and time buying from here. If this continues (which it likely will), I am considering calling the police. There’s no point in running a business if you can’t obey basic consumer laws.

I will ensure my family, friends, and new neighbors know what hassles I have been through with this store by sharing my experience. Don't waste your time with this store. They have no idea how to keep their promises. My order was delayed for 2 months even after the manager agreed to deliver on a specific date and they never showed up and did not even bother to call to explain. The reason the manager replied to my email just that I had contacted my lawyer and a letter was sent to have the confirmed delivery date. However, even though they agreed with the delivery date, No delivery was received by then. They are impolite, rude, and unprofessional. They would just expect their customers always be available for delivery and just call and show up on the same day without prior notice. When the delivery arrived, my order was not even right. 2 of my dining chairs are in the wrong color and I have 1 broken chair. The owner came to my house in person and said he would have 3 new chairs for me in 10 business days. That was on May 26, 2023, and today is July 30, 2023, I still have not received anything from them. If you have already ordered with them, make sure to keep all the conversations, contact CIU, talk to your lawyer, and file your claim with small claim court.

One of the Rubbish store, we order the furniture and they said they will deliver all of the items on mid of October but I said I need the delivery earlier and they said there would be no issue and they can deliver on the first week of October but something different happen they were keep postponing the delivery even though I paid full amount of furniture and on October 18,2023 they called the delivery is coming today and delivery people came to our house, we were expecting all of the furniture but there were only few of the items from our order and even though they didn’t inform us as all the furniture is not going to be deliver today.we called the store and they said, remaining items would be delivered later and I was so surprised with their customer service they were keep arguing with me and my family without any apology, I said I don’t need any delivery just cancel my order and refund the full money and they said we will cancel the order with 25% deduction then I called the my bank to cancel the payment and they cancel half of the money after that they said they will de the delivery on 31 October and nothing came out and now their excuse is that they are cancelling delivery because I got my money back through bank. If anybody is going to buy the furniture from this store please think 1000times and don’t pay anything before the delivery otherwise good luck. From Jinder Singh Brar

This store is fraud please don’t visit them. They will scam you with Black Friday sale offers. They will collect money and will run to other provinces. They will never deliver and they always make fake promises. Please people save your money. Please don’t go by the 5 star rating on this website it’s from his family members. If you need real review go to their other store’s website “furniture house” Calgary. You will find exciting fraud stories you may have never heard in canada. The front desk receptionist is a real mess and garbage. She don’t have any sense to communicate. Please people save your money or be ready to go through legal stuff. Just a tip never sign up for their flexi card payment options. It’s a big loop hole to scam you and screw you up. Please save yourself from these frustrating scammers. Horrible customer service filled with empty promises and no sense of empathy for customers. There’s been zero updates and the owner was super nice at the time of purchase and then he was MIA. I’ve tried to contact them multiple times and every time is a new store as to why I can’t have my furniture. It’s been over 3 months and I have yet to see my things. I’ve already made many visits to try and speak to the owner but he’s never there. His employees are not helpful at all and in fact they are quite rude. I’ve asked the phone number for the owner (Sartaj) and that’s never provided to me. I do think he’s avoid me. And that is not okay. I’m left with no choice now but to report this to the Calgary Police Services as I have zero faith and I want me money back from these guys. If you’re in the market to buy furniture, I suggest go somewhere else as these people are not competent whatsoever. I would give this business a NEGATIVE 5 for rating. I guess nowadays we really do have to turn to social media for help.

Ordered my dinning set in April 2023, was told it would take 2- 3 weeks for delivery. Harry was definitely helpful. - received the table and 2 out of eight chairs after 2 months . Table was not the one ordered, was told the other 6 chairs would be arriving in a week or so but took another 6 weeks. Willingly paid extra $$ to get another table which supposedly should have been delivered in 3 weeks but was delivered after 6 weeks. Finally I have the full set after almost 4months which should have taken at least a month. In the process of calling them every week, I got in contact with Ravi, who I must say helped me out of my frustration.thank you!!it seemed like someone actually listened. Furniture is what I was looking for but trusting them will be an issue for me. I would not mind waiting if told exactly what was happening or how long it may take. Wrong promises and false hope ruined it all. If you have the patience to order and forget about it, this place is for you. Thank you Ravi for all your help.

Thanks Furniture House for providing the best furniture in the city. I bet you no one can beat the quantity of their products. I have bought some furniture from them and Harry paji helped us choosing the right product as per our need. He really gave us the best deals and the best discounts that I ended up buying few more things and I highly doubt no other store in Calgary would provide you such discounts. Their customer service is incredible, actually there was some issues with our couch but they went above and beyond to fix that problem for us and I am extremely happy with the quality of all the products that I bought from them. Actually I have seen people complaining about things not delivered timely and perhaps I might have complained about it as well but guys quality products do take time to be made and they do make sure that every one ends up having the best from them. This furniture place is extremely unprofessional. When I ordered furniture from this place, they said it would arrive in two weeks. I also made it very clear with them that I have a special event coming up and I need the furniture as soon as possible. My order took almost two months only for it to arrive with half the furniture missing , plus they never mentioned that it will arrive missing with every time I’ve e called them. Not only that the service rendered by this company are very terrible, unhelpful and lack communication. They never pick up the phone and once they do after 15 missed calls, they answer with two words and without taking any of my information they hang up the phone. They always lie about the delivery date and if you tell them you will cancel the order if it doesn’t come in any time soon, they respond with “sure” I do not recommend buying from this company at all. Save your money and your time!!!

I had a terrible experience buying furniture from them, they told me it was going to take 2 weeks for my order to be delivered but it is over two months now and I still didn't get it, they said it would be delivered today only to get 1 out of 4 pieces to be delivered the rest they said would be delivered later !!!! I don't recommend this place to anyone, be careful of this business they're borderline scammers and liars they never pick up the phone i've been trying to call them everyday for the past week they answered twice only to give me more lies about the delivery date their customer service employees are extremely rude and unhelpful they even hung up on me twice when we were on a call, you would be better off getting your furniture elsewhere.

The service rendered by this company is the worst service ever since I have lived in canada. I went in and buy a sitting room furniture and complete set of bed for the room. Delivery was promised to take place in 2weeks but it was delivered after 3months without lack of communication or empathy from all staff. A week after delivery, the three seater had a broken legafter being sat on by 2people. I went into there policy and it is clearly stated that nothing will be done. I regret dealing with thus cmpany. The worst part is they generate a credit card for the sales just too make things more difficult for u and act as they wish without any remote or human feeling. I can't even introduce this company to my enemy.

Worst service ever!! You never get your items on time. All you’ll hear from them is lies and false promises. And they will try to keep you quiet with many false promises about delivery dates or a partial delivery. For more than two months now, I am still waiting for my remaining items. I never had this bad customer service experience in my life ,these people don’t know the meaning of customer service and even you should have to beg for your furniture delivery while you will pay the full amount, I ordered furniture from them on September 3,2023 to get the delivery within one month and it’s nov 1,2023 no delivery yet and postponing the dates of delivery. If you will talk to them they will start abusive talk instead of showing the apology for their fault. I would highly recommend to not to go to these annoying people and not waste your time and money.

Sartaj was very helpful in finding us a full bedroom set ! They had a wide selection of bedroom sets to choose from. He gave us the best deal, and with that he was super friendly ! They have awesome customer service , and we were told delivery would be 5 days after full payment and we got it in 2 days ! Best furniture store. My aunt moved to Calgary and had sold her furniture. She needed new furniture but had a tight budget. This store had great deals for a reasonable price!!! We were able to purchase everything from beds, sofa, dining tables. The customer service was awesome and very easy going. Worst experience ever…Bought sofa back in december was suppose to get extra cushion as promised before making purchase. After countless calls & few trip to their showroom, waited for more than 5 months just to hear that SORRY SIR THAT FABRIC IS OUT OF STOCK, REALLY ?? then why did u fake promise me last week that it has arrived in your warehouse?

From the start to finish these guys were very helpful and and accommodating. Not only that they made what I pictured but they were very diligent on the advice and was knowledgeable about the sizing and made sure it would fit in my house without issues. Ordered a sofa about 1.5 months ago and still not responding with proper answers. They promise to give me use only sofa until then but very poor customer service and not even responding calls as trying for around 100 times.
