"I ordered the stuffed sopapilla"
"Ripoff"
"Garcia's isn't what it used to be"
"How can you not like Garcia's? The service was really good and the server was available when we needed him"
"Nice sit-down restaurant, service was a little slow, but the food was good"
I ordered the stuffed sopapilla. It was made out of corn instead of flour. Definitely not what I expected. Was bland for me. The green chili was not as good as I had expected either. Don’t know why everyone local told me to go there. There are much better hole in the wall places to eat at with better green chili. More
Ripoff. Punished for ordering less food off the kids menu. Photos attached to make up your own mind. The cost for one, yes that’s 1 egg with no meat was the same as regular sized item on their menu. I will not spend my money at that restaurant chain ever again and living in NM, there’s plenty to choose from. More
Garcia's isn't what it used to be. We waited 20 minutes for chips and salsa before I finally had to go find someone. They had forgotten about us! The food is mediocre and the pricetag is way too high for what you get. New Mexican food is a dime a dozen in Albuquerque. We'll be going elsewhere from now on.
How can you not like Garcia's? The service was really good and the server was available when we needed him. The food came out quickly and exactly how we ordered. It was hot and so tasty. The green Chile stew was delicious and the tres leches was amazing. The prices were also very reasonable.
Nice sit-down restaurant, service was a little slow, but the food was good. My husband had the chicken burrito, and it really needed sauce. He added some of the salsa from our chips and salsa and that helped. (He did order "Christmas ", but it wasn't enough). More
Our wedding caterer thought it was a different day. So two hours before dinner was supposed to start, we called and they came thru with the most amazing food. Thank you so much. I didn't have cash for a tip but I do pray you are all blessed a hundred fold. More
Had a great breakfast at Garcia's on Juan Tabo blvd. Service was fast friendly and inviting. Food was prepared correctly, good portions and very tasty. The restaurant staff is awesome, they work well as a team. My drink was always being topped off. More
Stopped by at this location with wife after hiking knowing how great food at Garcias based on visiting other locations. This place didn’t disappoint. Waitress seemed to be overwhelmed due to staff shortage but handled us very well. Foos was
Garcia's Kitchen is a great Mexican/New Mexican restaurant. The food is always good here no matter what you order. The servers are always friendly, waiting to help in whatever manner they can. The restaurant is usually clean, neat and well
So I work with a client who is older and need some accommodations And we’ve tried every Garcia in our area and this location is by far one of the most amazing location the workers are amazing with her and so understanding and I just to say
Ok it’s been a while but Garcia’s Kitchen on Juan Tabo is probably my favorite restaurant to eat at when I’m home, but all are good. Food is always amazing. It’s delicious and usually not a long wait for your food. I can’t recommend eating
Have been going to this restaurant for years now. But I have to say that the food quality is not very good. The last time we came our beans were under cooked. And so this time time. The beans and potatoes undercooked. It was embarrassing
There's a pretty good reason why this establishment has grown over the years and still maintains its excellence when it comes to traditional new Mexican style dishes. The carne adobada burrito, which can be smothered with green and red
First time here. The green chile chicken enchiladas were very good. The frito pie was enormous, plenty for two. Our waitress was working her legs off and still smiled. Great local casual dining. More
Now this is what I'm talking about! Amazing flour tortillas, Carnitas, and flautas. Very efficient/friendly waitress, quick, cute local atmosphere. Biscochitos were good, just not enough anise. More
Edited: A few of my friends recommended this place. I finally gave in to see the hype. The staff members are nice and service was good. But the Menudo, Greasy
Loved this place! The waiter really took his time to explain all of the food choices to us, and that really helped us have a good experience.
Have been going here since I was a teenager, food is always on point! My favorite is the brisket taco plate! More
Been going to Garcia's for years and the Comanche & Juan Tabo location is our favorite.
