Saw Dr. John for an initial consultation and he is so thorough and explains things really well. Had 2x wisdom teeth taken out in the chair and have had fillings since and he’s so caring and checks on you throughout to make sure you’re okay. Reasonable pricing for a dentist as well! Shakila always provides excellent service at reception and makes you feel welcome and chats with you to calm your nerves. I won’t go anywhere else now. Highly recommend him if you’re someone who is nervous when going to the dentist. You even get headphones with calming music to listen to throughout. Will be recommending him to friends. My partner is now seeing him as his regular dentist too.

I took my daughter Veronika to Gem Dental Care after a bad experience with our previous dentist. I could not have been happier with Dr. John. His friendly disposition put my daughter immediately at ease, and his professionalism was above reproach. He carefully explained in words that we could both understand what her check-up revealed & what he was going to do that visit — which was good as my daughter was a little bit nervous. Dr. John was careful, considerate and professional. After this visit, Dr John will be our dentist.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. I am so happy with the customer service and care at Gem dental. I had to have a emergency wisdom tooth extraction and they booked me in straight away. From point of entry to farewell they treated me so well, helped relax me with soothing sounds and reassurance during surgery and also was extremely well priced. I will now be attending this clinic regularly going forward and will recommend them to the broader community. Thank you Dr John tia and dental nurse attending the surgery.

John is incredible and I would definitely recommend him to anyone! I was in agony and immobile as my tooth got that bad and he saw me after hours. He was the only person who answered so we drove 40+ minutes to see him. When I arrived he was so kind and so gentle when extracting my tooth. It was my first tooth I had extracted and I was so scared! I will always drive over 40 minutes now for my dental appointments. Highly recommend!! Thankyou John!

Dr John Tia is a brilliant dentist and took so much care with my teeth. As a person who has quite sensitive teeth, he took utmost care and very gentle that I do not feel any pain or uncomfortable during the treatment. He took time to explain and provide solutions.
