Get a move on did a move for me. When I reached out to have a conversation about the condition of some of my items I was met with hostility and accusations. The owner said that I must have intentionally damaged my items. He accused me of trying to take advantage of him making comments like "they arent idiots" "that looks suspicious " " we have anty of great clients". The team that did the move was great. They hustled. At the time I reached out I was only looking to have a conversation and provide feedback on how the damage could have been avoided. At no point did I ask for anything. My initial email was not responded to. We were not informed they needed to be present to check for damage until my second email reporting damage There are direct insults in some emails calling me a bad person a liar and a bad apple. Due to the unprofessional and confrontatinal responses I receive I would not reccomend get a move on. *Edit* I did send an email stating we would not be meeting at storage due to the hostility of emails we were not comfortable meeting in person. **He is now threatening to sue me

Get a Move On moved me on March 1st. The two gentlemen called prior to arrival to confirm my location and arrived with an appropriately sized vehicle and all the necessary equipment to do the job. They loaded the truck quickly and were over to my new apartment promptly. My new place is on the 4th floor of a building with no elevator so these guys worked HARD! They moved quickly and efficiently. The breaks they took were short. All my belongings arrived clean, safely and without damage to either the items or either property. This was by far the best move I have ever experienced. From the on site estimate visit, to the pick up of the wardrobe container I borrowed, everyone at Get a Move On was professional, courteous, and took great care of my family and I. I highly recommend Get a Move On. Moves are stressful and they made moving day easy.

For the first time in my life, I packed, moved and stored my possessions, furniture and car remotely due to Covid. I chose Get a Move On after speaking with Duane who immediately understood how difficult the move was for me on many levels. He was reassuring and made it so much easier than I dreamed possible from thousands of miles away. His packer was excellent and we communicated regularly. She really cared. The movers worked hard and were very efficient including moving my car into storage as well. I didn’t even think of this but Duane bought a cover for the car which they put over moving pads to protect against possible hail. This sort of thoughtful awareness and care goes beyond good service and I am very happy to recommend this company.

I like to try as much as possible to keep trade local and im glad I did , Get a move on were recommended to me and they did a great job very professional wrapped everything well took great care in protecting floors and corners had it all moved stored and delivered on time and great value, I did phone around and got several quotes and one thing I found is that Duane told me up front what the approximate cost would be which I liked . several places I got quotes from would quote cheap to get the job then everything was an extra but with Duane it was all up front and actually came in under the estimate so that was great im very happy to recommend them and would use them again if I ever moved . great job great guys., Thank you Very much indeed.

I arranged to have "Get A Move On Moving" to move my Mom from Calgary to Red Deer, Alberta, I did this from Ontario. I booked Sept.26.2019 Thursday since I was arriving in Calgary a few days before . They confirmed all details and also did a site visit. I am so happy for this recommendation from my good friend in Calgary. They were right on time, very friendly and efficient. They worked quickly while being respectful of my Mom's possessions. The young men worked together "as a synchronized team" is what my Mom said. I / We would recommend this company to all our friends and family, when asked " Do you know of a good moving company.

After hearing many horror stories of movers, I did a lot of research before my move. From the very beginning Duane was wonderful to deal with. He came to the house to make sure our estimate was accurate, contacted me again before the move to make sure we were ready and answer any questions we had, and called at the end of the move to make sure we were happy. We had a big move to do, and the 6-person crew was fantastic. They worked together efficiently and were polite and professional. We felt very comfortable having them in our home. I would not hesitate to recommend Get A Move On to anyone needing movers in Calgary.

First time using this company, and I was very pleased with thier service. The owner came out to do an estimate, and surprised me with the level of service they provide. Items had to be moved to storage, and then some items had to be moved to a second location at a later date. They were able to accommodate this including the storage, which saved us time and steps. The two gentleman who came to do the move were on time, very friendly, and professional. They took care in preparing the items, and overall did a fantastic job. I would definitely recommend Get a move on, and will definitely use this service again.

We were so impressed with this company. From the initial consultation with Duane to the day of our move things went smoothly and professionally. The pricing quoted was what we were charged, and the team that arrived to do the job was amazing. Great guys, great attitudes, and very professional. I would recommend this company hands down to any one needing moving services. We have a few antique pieces of furniture and they were transported with care. This is a company that goes above and beyond, they properly matted the floors and even wrapped banisters and wall corners. Very happy with the service.

We hired this company to help us move some clients that were experiencing some extreme health issues while in the middle of trying to move their home on their own. Duane was amazing and found a time that they could squeeze us in, in a pinch. On the day of the move they showed up on time, they were highly efficient, they took care not to do damage even in the home that was to be completely renovated. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Get a Move On was recommended to us by family and I can see why. Our move took 4 guys and two trucks. Showed up exactly when they said they'd be there. They were extremely efficient. Each person was professional, personable and friendly. They acted in a way that showed pride in the company they work for, which tells me they have good management. They took better care of my house and stuff than I could imagine. Danny came by a few days earlier and gave us an estimate for cost and time and they were basically spot on. 10/10 would recommend.

Duane is extremely helpful and will adjust to your schedule when he can and always did for us. My partner and I were both moving out of houses into one. I had to leave mine in storage for a couple of months with no problems and everything was perfect when it arrived Duane's crew, led by Danny, are the best; so helpful, very careful, always willing to move things around. Would not even rate this terrible company. Quoted one price, charged double without as much as a phone call to indicate it would be more of a charge. Do not pay this scammer with cash, better yet, do not use these terrible people. The owner had the audacity to ask me what kind of person I am when I questioned him. I think the better question is what kind of person is he. Would never recommend this company.

I own a storage yard and have never recommended a moving company and would not unless I used their services myself. The day came and this company was fantastic. Staff was courteous, careful and very professional. I would hire this company and recommend them to anyone! Duane and his guys were awesome. All the way to arrival times, to packing and then storage. They were prompt, curious, friendly and above all professional. Phenomenal moving company. The guys were so careful with our home, laying down mats and padded protection for railings etc. They were so kind and accommodating and very efficient.
