As well as being staffed (Monday to Friday - 6.30am until 9.00am), Glenhuntly Railway Station, on the Frankston line, has good facilities including MYKI machines, public phone, lighting, public toilets, plenty of seating and an indoor sheltered waiting area that provides protection against inclement weather. It also has parking for some 175 vehicles which is free and this includes wheelchair accessible parking, and some, but limited, bicylce racks and lockers. However, while the car parking may be adequate during the weekend, if you're not in by 7am during the the working week then you'll most likely miss out on a spot. Also, being a level crossing type of railway station and with the 67 tram running along Gelenhuntly Road means that frequent traffic congestion results at this location.

Negative side : Level crossing create traffic jams for vehicles and this is also a big issue for train travellers as more chances to miss the train due to level crossing gates. Also Frankston train line mostly have delays be it minor delay or major. Positive side : Good size free station parking. Good station condition.

The surrounding area has been busy enough because of the school, the public facility and shops. While Glen Huntly Station is under renovation, I can’t believe they are doing the road work at the same time on the Neerim road, which causing worse congestion at peak hours. I don’t see it as a wise choice.

Caution: there is no pedestrian underpass. Pedestrians are frequently trapped while boomgates are closed. If you have a connecting tram, run. Plan to be on the last carriage for a fast exit to prevent being trapped. The sooner this station is replaced, the better.

New Glen Huntly station looks awesome, considering how for the last 4 months it underwent massive shape-up. Lifts for accessible way to platforms, bending stairs. Although entry-fencing is non-existent which makes it vulnerable to security.

Constant issues causing train delays into the city. Electrical faults, signalling issues and this causes so many problems for the daily commuter. Can't see any progress with getting rid of the crossing either.

Annoying rail road crossing that exacerbates the crowding of people and car traffic at peak hour times. This station with be great if authorities removed the level crossings.

Once again i need to piss and the train stations have closed the toilets and there are no public toilets open around the area either

Train is always running so late early hours in the morning especially the first train in the Morning during the week days.

In general on time unlike the trams. Overpopulation is the underlying problem in Melbourne.

It's got all of amenities, a very handy pickup & drop off, rail station facility.

Station is clean. However the boom gates always slows down traffic

at least its not named 'Glen Huntly' Edit: burn it down

Everything is so cheap, easy and convenient.

This is a friendly place that locals love.
