has been with them for 2 years, and had a really bad experience this year. At the beginning of this year, I got my G licenses and called them to update the information on January 9th 2018 which they said my file has been update and gave me a lower quote. BUT I have been shopping around because the new quote i got is still more expensive than people around me. At the beginning, i thought its because of ive made a claim in the past, but then ive contact other statefarm agent without knowing their "can not steal customer policy" and they all quotes me lower, but when they know im already with statefarm they all said they cannot switch for me because they are not allowed to steal customers from each others, so they suggest me to called my agent back and let them know the quotes others gave me. Therefore in March I called back to ask about the situation. And they said yes, because they are the same company so if others can do it they can too. And I said okay then why did you still give me a more expensive price, and they asked me "do you have your G?" I said yes, and they said "oh why didnt you update us so we can give you a lower price." I was frustrated, and i said "back in january, i let you guys know already and you guys said you will update my file." and the lady said she didnt see it in my file that i have a G thats why its more expensive.She then said shes gonna look into it and put me on hold. After waiting for 10 mins, another guy picked up and said they changed my monthly payment and gave me back the money i paid more for past few months. And you think thats it? no not even! Now its October, when renewing my policy, i found that my price is higher again, so I called them and asked them, and they double check my information and said"you got your G right?" I said "yes this year january" and she said "oh G 2018 January? oh then with all the newest information i may be able to give you 294 instead of 336. wait i have to called head office and called you back" and which i am more frustrated than ever, cause my information was the same throughout the year, I dont understand how the price can go lower everytime i called. And imagined if i didnt call?? after a while, they didnt even called me back, they just send me a message on wechat letting me know that all the money i paid extra in previous month will be applied on this month's bill, which they will only charged me for 89$ this month, I said okay, what about next year because my policy will renew in november, they said they need to look into it tomorrow and let me know, it may be cheaper, but can be more expensive. In conclusion, I think this agent is a bit sketchy as everytime i called, they gave me a different and lower quote, and said that i didnt called them to update my information. And now i have to stuck with them as "they cannot steal each others customer.", but i am now considering complaining to the head office and see what they can do.

I was in the market for auto insurance when my insurance policy was up for renewal. I called Grace Chen State Farm for a quote, a friendly staff from the office picked up my call and assisted me with my quote. The agent staff was really knowledgeable and asked all the right questions, I was then presented with a reasonable quote. All it took was 2 phone calls and I was on my way to a better auto insurance policy which suited me and reasonably price. I will much recommend my friends and family to consult Grace Chen State Farm for insurance as this agent has served me well.

They are terrible... we took our first auto insurance from them... when we took it they told us the rate will start going down from the second year.... which was not true at all... also they confuse us a lot and the second year and the third year there was no decline in the amount even though our driving record was clean.... they are only bothered till they get the client after that they are least bothered in ensuring customer satisfaction...
