During the quote & installation stages, Gravity Electrical Solutions was very prompt, helpful, cooperating & professional in answering all my inquiries & questions. Its quote was competitive with other electrical contractors & was very reasonable. Eventually, I have decided to give this contract work to it because many customers have given it very good reviews (I am very glad that I have made the right decision). The contract work that I gave to Gravity Electrical Solutions in early May, 2022 was to install a 240 Volt 50 amp NEMA 14-50 receptacle (for Level 2 charging) inside the garage of my house (about 30 years old) in Edgemont, Calgary for charging a new fully electric car (2022 Porsche Taycan 4S) that I have just bought. This installation work was quite complicated & extensive because it involved: (1) Supplying & "fishing" about 24 m (80 ft.) of new electrical wire (armoured wire rated for minimum of 50 amp.) from my garage on the ground floor to the existing electrical panel in the basement of my house, (2) Supplying & installing an Electrical Vehicle Energy Management System (EVEMS, which is required by the Electrical Code), and a new Junction Box near the existing electrical panel. Its electrician Jason had done an excellent & tidy job with very good workmanship in installing this entire electric car charging system for my house. It took Jason around 6 hours to complete this rather complicated installation. A few days later, this entire new electrical vehicle charging system had fully passed the inspection that was done by the Inspector from the City of Calgary. I have been using this 240 Volt 50 amp NEMA 14-50 charging receptacle & system for about 3 months. So far, it has been operating flawlessly without any problems at all. Dave Kwan

Long story short, I would not recommend Gravity Electrical. Connor was late, and left early every day. A 2 day job turned into 4. He also took every opportunity to cut corners, or cut costs from my initial quote. Whether it was, asking to: - Run wire on top of my cabinets instead of in the attic I had asked for. - Run 14/2 wire from my master lightswitch instead of the 14/3 I requested so I could power my light / fan independently. - Use remotes instead of mechanical switches in my kitchen like I had requested. I felt like I had to babysit to make sure the job I was quoted got done. On top of that, their Drywalling contractor charged me $1800 for 6 hours of work. I get it's a small job, to patch 5 holes after an electrician comes in. But to charge $300 / hour, is unfair any way you look at it. I was estimated $1000. I have never, had an estimate come in at almost double, without being consulted. At the end of the day, I feel like their electrician was good but only marginally better then DIY. And to further drive home that point: Both Connor and Pelumi said that I wouldn't be able to power the fan / light in my master bedroom independently. Wouldn't even try to wire it up so that I could. I tried, and it works as I expected. Power to my fan is controlled by the remote that came with it, and power to the light is controlled from the light switch.

I cannot begin to tell you just how amazing Pelumi and his team are. We are having our roof replaced which was the perfect opportunity to have an exhaust fan installed in our bathroom (our neighbours got one as well). We hit a few speed bumps along the way with organizing the roofers due to materials not being available and the weather etc, Pelumi took it all in stride. He is one of the most patient people I have had the pleasure of working with, he never made me feel like I was burden. Fraser was a champ in installing our fans perfectly even with the challenge of the flat roof, some not so greatly placed cables and a light fixture that we found out was painted to the ceiling, not a chip of paint disturbed, incredible. Jason also came by to deal with some sketchy wiring we found in our kitchen fixtures, he made it seem effortless in his speed and efficiency and dealing with the dogs barking at him. We now have much better light fixtures and I can actually see what's in the freezer, haha. The level of professionalism, kindness, cleanliness, being on time and the efficiency of this whole team is amazing. Do yourself a favour and use them for your next project, big or small, they'll take care of it with a smile. Thank you SO much Pelumi, Fraser and Jason, you're all rockstars!!! I had the pleasure of working with Gravity over the summer to get a new electrical service ran out to my newly built detached garage. Gravity was knowledgable and very straight forward in our initial meetings and helped me plan out the fine details of what I wanted to do. They want above and beyond in this regard and made suggestions for fixtures and placements that I may have otherwise missed, being someone without such experience. The provided estimate was more than reasonable and I was happy to have them so the work. The work itself was not easy, Gravity worked through some of the hottest days of the summer to get the trench and electrical lines ran out to where they needed to be, and still managed to complete the work in a reasonable time frame without negatively impacting the quality of the end result. All in all I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others, the assistance they provided me in tailoring the solution to my needs and their ability to work around tough conditions while still delivering a great product makes me confident others should feel the same.

Awesome work in installing some pot lights and moving an outlet. (This is only half the job -- they were very accommodating in splitting one job into two with no extra charge as I am still in the process of building a fireplace) Gravity were also the only ones who were able to do the pot light wiring with no extra holes on my ceiling or damage to my drywall. They also used original Leviton-branded decora style switches, which completely matched my Brookfield home's parts. Price was very reasonable. I have a ballpark estimate of what it would be since I am fairly familiar with what it takes to get this done and they hit the price I was expecting from my experience. Some electricians were literally quoting 3x the amount. Lastly, Mark was super friendly and carried out my vision as expected. I honestly wouldn't bother quoting with other people since no competitor comes close to their knowledge, creativity in solving problems, and price. Highly recommended!

My parents were experiencing electrical issues in their older home. After reading tons of reviews online, I contacted 6 electricians that were rated 99%+ and am so glad I decided to go with Gravity Electrical Solutions! Pelumi was very humble, courteous and respectful to me and my parents. He gave an honest opinion of what work could be done but doesn't necessarily need to be done. He took great care to replace the panel, fish new circuits to the kitchen and bathroom, as well as the tough job of trenching through thick tree roots to bury the overhead wires from the house to the garage. He was always quick to respond to emails and more than happy to work around my schedule, which I greatly appreciate. The final invoices were reasonable and close to estimate. I highly recommend Gravity Electrical Solutions and will definitely contact Pelumi in the future!

We had several tricky jobs to do in updating and tweaking our condo. Jason was able to relocate service that a different electrical contractor said required cutting holes in the ceiling without cutting ceiling holes. He found a way to accomplish what we were hoping for with a minimum of muss and fuss. He gave us options where he could. He showed us how to work with what he installed and how to program it differently if we wanted to change it. He is knowledgeable, professional, inventive and very pleasant to be around for 2 days. All that and the cost was fair. We highly recommend Gravity Electrical Solutions for ALL your electrical needs. It's often hard to find quality contractors. This one is a keeper for sure.

UPDATE: Gravity Electrical reached out to me to discuss our concerns with one of their employees so that they could take appropriate measures. I was thoroughly impressed with Gravity Electrical and I truly hope that the electrician that was sent out to us is okay! --- The work was done and the price was right. However we were greatly concerned about the condition and health of our electrician. He appeared to have been experiencing some medical difficulties that day, by starting off the appointment with saying he was "...a little under the weather." He was trembling a significant amount, struggled with holding tools and removing/replacing screws, faceplates, typing out the invoice information etc.

Re: Nest thermostat check up. Found Gravity Electricals on Homestars site. Pelumi sent Stefan the next day. Fault was in the fire alarm. It was rectified immediately with the assurance of finding better solutions after Nest App gets migrated to Google Home in 2024. Pelumi & Stefan were extremely knowledgeable of the subject. The fee was reasonable. Personally, Pelumi sounded courteous and accommodating on the first phone call. Stefan who visited the residence was a gentleman and highly competent. I was very comfortable with him. Very satisfied with his speed of work. He didn't need supervision. He did not fumble with the job. I will hire them again for any electrical related work they can do.

Gravity Electrical Solutions, was very responsive, and caring in the work they provided. I called Gravity to repair the doorbell for an elderly couple, one of whom had hearing difficulties. He made us all feel comfortable, and took care of us. I had brought my own replacement, but Fraser replaced the doorbell with his own, which was both cheaper for us, easy to maintain, and sounded great. He went out of his way to replace the doorbell switches, both front and back, explained it's features, and was happy to help with other problems, and provide his professional advice. We had Jason over several times for various issues. Jason is a rockstar. Punctual, fast in getting the job done and happy to help with small issues without nickel and diming. Gravity will give you a quote ahead of time and they are generally very accurate in their estimate. In the most recent visit Jason finished faster than expected and the company actually refunded us some money! Never in my life have I had a trades company give me back money for working too fast. I had Gravity install a generator panel with an outside outlet at my house. Pelumi was great at communicating over email and took the time to explain the project details before I finally gave approval. Stefan did the actual installation and wiring and was timely, courteous and professional. The price was reasonable as well (in the range I expected) and the fact was that Gravity was the only company, of the several I contacted, that was willing to take on a one-off project like this. They've also coordinated with the city inspector on my behalf to get the project inspected and approved.

I am returning customer.This time I used they services to wire my new garage, and to upgrade old main electrical box.There was some deadline on finishing interior work(main panel) and they pull they guys from other jobs to accomplish interior work before my renters will come back from vacation.Today they came back and finished the whole job.They cleaned all wood shavings and wire cutoffs from garage floor and left site in good order.They were on the time to commence they work.Not a single minute late. Tristan from Gravity Electrical Solutions came by to fix our doorbell 9 days ago. He was friendly and extremely efficient. Within less than 5 minutes, he quickly determined that the issue was a loose wire at the level of the transformer in our electrical cabinet. In the end, it turned out that we did not need to replace our doorbell button, chime, or transformer (which was good news). I am quite happy/satisfied with their work and definitely plan to use Gravity Electrical Solutions again in the future with any electrical issues. We've worked with Pelumi and his team at Gravity Electric a couple of times now. Our Warehouse is an older building with some crazy electrical, and we originally brought them in to separate out some lighting during a restructure. Most recently they completed a Warehouse Lighting upgrade for us that was a long time coming. Nick Lanigan and his apprentice Keiran did the bulk of the work for us and they did an outstanding job! They have been professional, consultative, and timely. I would absolutely use them again for the next project!

I had Fraser come to the house to replace all the smoke /C02 alarms that were hard wired in my house. He showed up 30min earlier than the scheduled time which was great. He was in and out in less than 30min, explained to me what he was doing and then did his check test. I would use this place again for any other electrical issues. My only comment is that I filled out an online form to get a quote and did not hear back, so I ended up having to call them directly to get a quote. You might want to check if your online form works.

Gravity Electrical has been to my house on a number of occasion to help deal with issues that have come up. On this occasion I had a frightening situation of an electrical outlet seeming to short circuit along with a burning plastic smell. I received a very quick reply from the company who booked me to be seen first thing in the morning. We chose them based on their great google review and we can see why. Our technician (Jason) was on time, polite, knowledgeable and most importantly, efficient. Gravity installed a large heavy chandelier for me in my home. The install was in the front entrance on an unusually high vaulted ceiling. It's a super difficult location but the Gravity guys didn't give up, we assessed the situation, came up with a plan, and they stayed through to the end of the job. Not responsive at all. I messaged these guys about a project and they were replying but stopped after a few messages when i finished explaining the project to them. It seems they pick and choose their projects. At least have the courtesy to get back to the customer with a yes or no if you can or cannot undertake a project so they can look for someone else.

The electrician from Gravity was on time, professional, very knowledgeable, performed the task requested with no issues and also fixed a problem he noticed with the wiring to the adjacent switch.
