Very disappointed & traumatized by Greencross Vet Marsden Park, level of care and empathy from the staff was minimal. The vet that consulted my cat appeared very cold and unemphatic and kept reminding me that they were doing me a favour by “fitting me in,” which I expressed my gratitude and appreciation for. However this was NO EXCUSE in providing me and my beloved sick cat second class service or discounted care , given I paid the full amount. I did not even receive a receipt or invoice or given a breakdown of what I was paying for, just an amount. NO ONE bothered to sit down and explain to me in person that my little fragile cat was actually terminally ill, no results explained, no x- rays shown, no blood test results discussed. I was going to complain to the practice manger about the traumatic experience I received from this location, but the practice manager Caroline herself was also part of the traumatizing chain of events. She was condescending and unempathetic towards me and my situation. It took two whole weeks to get any invoices for the service I received and after the area manger got involved. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and I am still very traumatized with my experience at Greencross Vet Marsden Park.

We can’t thank Dr Rivera and the lovely nurses Britt and Dana enough for looking after our 11yr old American Staffy. Dr Rivera removed a lump and it was diagnosed as an aggressive cancer(stage 3 soft tissue sarcoma). After visiting an oncologist and being quoted $20k for aggressive treatment at a hospital, we came back to Dr Rivera with our concerns. He was so experienced and knowledgeable explaining other options that we decided to go with chemotherapy. It’s been 6 months and we just finished the final round of chemo! We’ve had so much support through the whole process and our beautiful boy had time to recover after each round. Dr Rivera and the team are just fantastic and we highly recommend even just having a chat if your pet is going through something similar.

Dr Jairo Rivera and the lovely nurses at Marsden Park are very good. We have a 1 year old cavoodle, and we come regularly. Dr Rivera’s treatment is gentle, practical, and thorough. We are under Healthy Pets Plus, so I feel like we get our money’s worth with regular check-ups (and tele consultations). We did have one emergency case that we went with ARH for the full treatment, but we later found out that perhaps we could have done the surgery at Greencross.

Brought in my 1 y.o pet sloth for a check up. Great service, great advice on sloth keeping. ...see more Just kidding. My regular awesome vet for my partner in crime "tinkerbell" (cavoodle) 1 y.o, she loves getting to my mouth retainers for sleeping so organised a regular check up. Wouldn't recommend any other veterinarian. Book today even if you don't have a pet.

Dr Jairo Rivera and the lovely nurses at Marsden Park are wonderful. I have a 5 month old groodle, who had been very unwell and placed on medication from 10 weeks old and since switching vets to Dr Rivera, she has now been weaned off her medication and is a happy and healthy puppy. Dr Rivera’s treatment is gentle, caring, practical, and always thorough.

we've been going to Greencross Marsden Park for ages now and the staff are lovely, they treat our animals and ourselves with such a high level of respect and care we never go anywhere else anymore. shout-out in particular to MJ, Dana and Britney (sorry if I spelt that wrong), who have been helping us out weekly with our newest puppy. love you guys ❤️

I ordered cat food with them and was told someone would call me the next day. No one called so I called the day after only to find there were no details of my order. Made another order. Picked up the food in a few days. Then a week later got a message that my food was ready to pick up.... Not sure what happened but it was a weird experience.

Both Kathy (VET) and Katie (Nurse) are amazing. We’ve been to a few different practices, but this one is our favourite by far. Very friendly and caring. They spend as much time as needed to examine my pup, every time we’ve needed to see them. They ensure they answer all your questions and discuss your concerns in detail. Highly recommended

I the later years of our dogs life we meet Dr Rivera, his extensive knowledge, care, expertise is absolutely amazing. We wish that we meet him earlier in our beautiful dogs life.. Please do yourself a favour and go and see him for your pet care - you will not be disappointed! He is great!

I just want to say a huge thank you to the staff. We decided to put our beautiful kitten to sleep due to an unfortunate incident and the staff were so patient and kind. A week later we received a beautiful letter from the staff sending their condolescences. Thank you lovely ladies!!

1st visit to Pet barn Green Cross vet. Great service, was first class. VET was very knowledgeable and went into issues in depth unlike other vets we have used before. If my dog could talk I think he would say he was happy as well.

Charged an arm and a leg to put our bunny down didn’t realize we were being ripped off until we spoke to other rabbit owners and when we rang them to ask why it cost so much compared to others they just said that’s just how it is.

Quoted by one of the Vets $800-$1000 for an operation for my dog, booked in and attend, they revised their estimate to $1250 - $1480 due to inflation. I understand prices have gone up. But this price is well above inflation

Always friendly but on point about your baby. Whether you call in a flap due to a not sure what to do about the baby. The advice is always great, they make you feel at ease and give you the options available.

Was impressed with such a humane and warm visit. Dr.Rivera is fantastic! He is calm and super friendly, and dedicated his time to take me through the options. Also my dog received lots of treats …

What is the point in saying you close at 7pm WHEN YOU'RE NOT OPEN TILL 7PM. Utterly ridiculous and extremely unhelpful when your pet is in need of seeing a Vet ASAP. Pathetic

I have been going here for years and find the service to be excellent. MJ is great and really cares for all my animals and the nurses are excellent too.
