We came into our appointment and the ladies at the front desk seemed to be like they didn’t wanted to be there , they all had a bad attitude … also we sat down at the reception while waiting for the vet to call us , and once we got into the consultation room it was extremely hot, so smelly and no air conditioner at all .. besides the main reason we went to the vet was to get our dog vaccinated and turns out that one of the vaccine is on shortage so the vet suggested us to call other vets and see if they have it available otherwise to be on a waiting list which they don’t even know how long would take .. once done with the consultation the vet asked us to go back to the reception and wait for her while she was finishing all the paperwork and turns out that the ladies at the front desk stacked up the chairs and didn’t even say anything more than “ are you done ? “ like hurrying us up so we told them that we were just waiting for the vet so we were just standing there feeling so uncomfortable cause it felt like they were just getting ready to leave ,so why do you even let people book appointments at 6:30pm ( our appointment time ) if you feel like you are in hurry to go home and having bad attitude towards the customers .. also We understand it could be a shortage of one of the vaccine but at least they could’ve contact us prior to let us know that one of the vaccine wasn’t available so we would’ve gone to another place where the vaccine was available .. so clearly there is a lack of communication and customer service in this place !

Both times I’ve taken my cat here my experience has been very beneficial. The appointments were a bit different due to changes the vet have implemented due to covid, being that we do a sort of “drop off” of our pet with the reception staff outside of the clinic and the staff takes the pet inside to see the veterinarian. The actual appointment takes place over the phone with the veterinarian instead of inside the clinic as it usually would occur. The two veterinarians I have interacted with, Dr Ketherine and Dr Su Mi, were both extremely detailed and clear in their observations, recommendations and next steps to take. Upon asking the very friendly reception staff if they offer any payment plan options, as we had booked in another appointment for our cat to track his progress, they advised that the clinic also offers a service called Health Pets Plus which consists of a monthly payment of $40 covering you for cost of unlimited consultations and then a 10% discount on all other products, medications, services etc provided by the clinic. Very helpful to know if you have reoccurring appointments.

I have a 4 month old German shepherd puppy who has had a bad cough with vomiting. I called every vet in my area and all of them told me they are fully booked and I need to wait a few days to get my puppy checked out. I found that ridiculous A very polite lady answered the phone at Greencross Mortdale, I explained my issue and she told me they are fully booked but she can send me to the hospital section in their clinic to get my puppy checked out as she was not well at all. I arrived shortly after the phone call and the staff where so helpful and polite and happy to help. I received updates about my pup every hour with how she is progressing as she stayed the whole day being monitored , and taking blood tests and making sure she is back to normal. I was told later on that my puppy has kennel cough and was treated immediately Because of your excellent service I have my puppy back feeling much better then when she arrived. I will be leaving my current VET to join the Greencross family I appreciate your time and efforts, see you next time

This was my experience in this greencross vet. Compared to other greencross, I rather go to ARH hospital or greencross Penrith instead of this place. You didn't provide your professional knowledge and passionate towards my pet. My pet has a bad diarrea and vomiting. They only gave him prokolin (he getting worse and worse, this doesn't work on him) and half way vaccination because my pet acts scared and bark. So my pet refuses to gave them do vaccination. But...even though he is refusing. You must have your way to treat this trick but you only ask us to look at him on next 3 days first. You guys don't know how frequently he diarrea. You guys are no responsibility at all. I won't go there anymore. I willing to paid the money to have a good services to my pet.

I came in to book an appointment on Sunday and she did not care to listen to my issue regarding my 12 week old Cavoodle. I asked for a business card to take with me in case I needed to cancel (because my puppy looked like it was getting better) and she sarcastically said no vet is open so good luck! Terrible attitude. I ended up not going to my appointment due to this attitude. If the service is like this, imagine the vets in there! Fix your front-facing staff and ensure they actually like pets!

Went to greencross Mortdale with our little 8wk staffy puppy. Staff were extremely friendly and professional. The one year cover which includes free unlimited consultations and free vaccinations is a massive bonus - you pretty much make the money back within the first 2 months. Also with the cover we were able to get 40% off worming and other treatments which significantly reduces out of pocket costs. Also being a partner with petbarn, we get emails every fortnight with discount codes and $10-$20 off our next shop which helps with buying food, toys and all the rest of stuff. Really happy with these Vets and vet nurses!

Great vet! Highly recommend, I had to get my pet check out a few weeks back and the staff was very friendly and gentle with my old friend. Then I had to go in on the weekend and unfortunately put down my old friend. As hard as this time may be I had Sophia look after me and my cat and she was amazing she gave us time together, was very supportive and very sympathetic which you really need at a time like that. I could not recommend this place anymore it has a great vibe and the prices are reasonable. If your looking for a great place to take your loved ones this is the place!

Went their today 1st time. Won't be going back. It was just chaos. No one seamed to know what was going on people and their pet were just piling up and spilling out the front door. During the consultation the vet left the room 3 times and when people entered the room they didn't knock which is fine I'm just glad I was still holding my dogs lead or he would have ran off. Even when I called to make the appt bad phone manner and said she would call me back then didn't call me back i had to call again I should have taken that as a hint an went else where.

Grateful for the care the vets and staff took with our family and our beloved cat, Poppins, who passed away recently. We had to make the awful decision none of us want to make and the vet took the time to explain the options and did not pressure me to make a decision one way or the other. Then when I returned to pick up Poppins' ashes I felt such compassion from Laura at the front desk, thank you. Only suggestion - a box of tissues in each room for those tough moments ;(

We recently took our Labradoodle to Green Cross at Mortdale as she had an incontinence problem, at a very young age. We really appreciated the time and professionalism we received from the vets, especially Aislinn Aislinn took time to discuss Cookie's problem and we are delighted she managed to diagnose her issue correctly and we no longer have to worry about Cookie. I saw the information at Petbarn & decided to go to Greencross after seeing all the benefits offered to our customers, once there I decided to move all of my pets to Greencross when they needed care because the staff & clinic where so nice & well presented, it was also good to have a membership option with lots of benefits rather then insurance, I’ve now seen 4 of there Vets for my pets & can safely say all are caring & very knowledgeable.

These vets are supposed to put your animals care first but seem to be more interested in making money first and foremost. I am a old customer that needed some medicated shampoo for my dog , of which they have a supply, but without paying for a visit they refused to sell . I would advise anyone thinking about using this vet to go anywhere else, no consideration for old customers and only interested in Dollars .

Greencross Veterinary at Mortdale are the best. I was having trouble getting my very anxious cat to go in her cat carrier for an appointment so instead the vets came to my home. They were so kind and caring and very reassuring. From now on home visits is a better option for me and my cat. I am also with Healthy Pets Plus which Green Cross offers to help with the overall cost . It pays to belong..

I have been to this vet for a while but was thoroughly impressed with todays service from Mortdale team: Anna and Paige. Paige went above and beyond in remembering client preferences: ensuring my pomeranian got a new colour bandage and she even decorated it. I’m so happy I have finally found a vet I trust. My cat Marzie has been to several vets and I haven’t been happy with any of them until now. They always make your pets feel special when they come in and I know she is in good hands when I need to leave her for the day. Pricing is reasonable and I don’t feel unnecessary treatment is advised for money as it has been in the past at other clinics.

Rude staff, left on hold many times, & way over price for what they offer, & will hit you for extra hidden cost. eg while your pet was out we did a teeth scraping, "you" What that's going to be extra? but i did not ask for that., "them" yep, oh & we also gave them a shot of this too. & yes that is extra too. but you have no choice but to pay for it now, As It has already been done,

Old woman on the phone is quite rude. Every single time I speak to her over phone, she is always so hostile and not happy to help. It has been happening for a while now. We've been with greencross vets since 2017 and have regulary takes our pets for check up. The vets themselfs are quite nice, but this old women at the front is just so hostile.

I found a doggy wandering on the road without a collar. I took him to Greencross Vets and they scanned him and immediately contacted the owner. Fortunately the owner was local and the vet held onto him until the owner came to collect him. Exceptional service. I was very impressed with their help and obvious care for this escapee.

I am fostering 3 kittens and have taken them twice now. The staff is friendly with us and with the kittens. They've been pretty flexible and have taken the time to see us even when they are fully booked. I've call on the phone too to make an enquire weather to take a kitten in or not, and they were patient and so amazing. THANKS

The absolute best vets! We had puppy school with Greencross Vets Mortdale and we are Healthy Pets Plus members which is the most incredible service and cost saver for our little Buster boy. I cannot rate it highly enough. All of the staff are incredible and go above and beyond for us and our pup! Couldn’t be happier!

Ripped off, you would expect paying 5 times more than other vets for a check up and infection type of medication. They would charge you $70 for consultation, then writing a script and medication fee are on top. The vets are quite impatient when you want to know the details of the cost. I would not go back again.

Very Bad experience with both chances i gave them, thanks to there lack of animal care my puppy got really sick and ended up costing me over $1100 for there lack of service. Manager very rude and obnoxious, never retained calls, had to keep calling myself for blood test and urine tests results they kept losing.

Our local vet that is filled with incredibly smart, personable and fantastic animal lovers. I honestly can't fault the team here and am so grateful for the support they give us as fur parents and the care they provide for our fur children. The staff are very nice. The only thing that really annoys me is they preferred filling my kitten with antibiotics than trying to find out, through exams, why his lips were swollen. If it is just a daily check up, they are ok. If it is something serious, I would recomend going to other vet.

Our puppy underwent spaying here last week. They were great communicators about the procedure and the aftercare needed. The staff rang the following morning to check on her and encouraged us to call or come in if there were any concerns. Friendly staff who know their stuff.

Caught an injured pigeon and WIRES advised for the bird to be taken to this vet. They took it in without question, tended to its injuries and found the owner of the pigeon for it to be collected. This vet does amazing work for all animals, cannot recommend highly enough!

I extremely recommend puppy school at Greencross Vets at Mortdale...the instructor Sarah was fantastic and very helpful and answered and demonstarted everything perfectly.. be sure to take your pets down to them as the vets are fantastic also!

Do not take your pets here. They are not reliable. Cant get appointment when amimal is sick. Cant get follow up when pet gets an infection from procudure they did .Had to go to another vet. Very happy to take your money.
