We both didn’t understand each other. I had bought tires for another bike before with no problems. I first went in looking for a bike in and out because I do not like to leave my bike outside unattended I saw nothing I liked so I left. So later that week I had found a used bike and was looking for tires I went back in to browse what was available. When I tried to enter with my bicycle there was people at the counter one asked can I help you? I said no thanks because I wanted to see first. He said to leave bicycle out on the bike rack but I didn’t trust leaving it outside and me browsing inside so I left. Later I called him by phone to explain myself and see if I could go back and maybe start all over he said and reminded me that I had been there a few days earlier. He said I was acting weird and that I had earphones on. He didn’t know they were earmuffs because my ride is about 10 miles and it’s cold. When on the phone he said what he thought was going on and I’m sorry he felt I was acting weird. Maybe if he had approached me privately and asked instead of trying to help me in front of five other people staring at me it would have gone smoother. Anyway I’m sure he has his own story because when I called by phone he didn’t take any responsibility for the misunderstanding no apology. But he did say go back tomorrow and try again. I called another shop and was taken care of that same day. I’m sorry

I'm so glad I found this place! They moved to their new location (which is on my bike commute to work) like 2 weeks before I was ready to get my new brakes installed on my Soul Fast Sonic Pro. I had purchased the brakes and rotors (Magura e-stop) and they did the install! Communication by Balt (the tech) by both phone and text was exceptional. he was able to overcome a few challenges with the install on my bike in particular. I got the bike back today and I'm in love with my new brakes. The price was more than reasonable. This business really doesn't try to take advantage of people who don't work on their own bikes. This is my new go-to service shop for my e-bikes. I'm also really excited to participate in some of the community rides and activities that they sponsor. I wish I would have found this place sooner! Went into the shop armed with so much information I had found on the internet that I just couldn't decide what bike would be best for me. Within a couple on minutes of talking to the guys at the shop they had me on the first bike out for a ride. The bike I thought I wanted, turns out it wasn't right for me. When I came back they had a second bike that they thought would be a better fit for where I ride waiting outside for be to test ride. I loved that one, but they had to more for me to try just so I could be sure. They then listed to to what I liked about each bike. They took what I liked and changed out the handle bars and stem to make the bike have a more upright riding position that was perfect for me. I am glad I didn't just order the bike online. I would have ended up with a bike that wasn't a perfect fit for me.

Thank you Hun MRKT! It's this awesome bike shop located in San Antonio that I recently checked out. I have to say, the team there is pretty great! Whenever I've walked in with questions about my bike or ebikes, they've been super helpful and willing to talk shop. It's so refreshing to go somewhere and get excellent customer service, you know what I mean? I've been there a few times now, and I've always left feeling satisfied with the help I received. In fact, I've recommended hubmarket to several of my friends who are looking for bike-related assistance. Oh, and did I mention they have cold drinks available while you wait? (That you pay for) It's the little things that count, and I thought that was a nice touch. Overall, my experience at hubmarket was fantastic, and I'll definitely be going back for all my biking needs

I love this shop. I tried out a bike that my husband was gonna get. I kind of liked it, but I felt wiggly n couldn't balance well. We were gonna get it anyway. But then Bolt suggested I tried the Pace 500. N voila, it felt a lot better to ride, easier for me to get on n off the bike. I definitely appreciated the fact that they made suggestion that made me comfortable on the bike. We bought it. I rode it soon as I got home, n man oh man, wind on my face, pedal assist for the hills, throttle when I wanna go vroom vroom. I had an awesome time! Can't wait 'till hubby's bike arrive so we can ride together. It's so much fun!

What an awesome place, and people. Owner Marty made me a believer in e-bikes in about 5 minutes. First a couple of test rides on different models in the beautiful King William historic district, then a tasty local craft beer from the shop's extensive beer selection left me sorry my visit to San Antonio is so short this time. I can't wait to come back! My next task is to convince my wife we need to buy a couple of e-bikes... or, I’ll bring her back with me and rent them here!

Dont use these people. If anything goes wrong with your bike they will try to blame you. I have never had a worse customer service experience in my life (went back three times to see if the owner would act any differently). I work as a physician and customer service is my forte. I don't know how they have a 4.8 star review. We must have started off on the wrong foot, but the owner did nothing to improve that experience. I will take my business to another company.

Do yourself a favor and stop by Small Planet ebikes and give a couple a ride. If you don't want one after that you may need to be checked for a pulse. Marty and the gang are great and they have some great bikes at very reasonable prices. Most importantly, these bikes have QUALITY BATTERIES and won't burn your house down. Not all ebikes cost multiple thousands of dollars, and this place proves it. I can't recommend Small Planet enough!

Nice bike shop with a focus on ebikes and rentals, although I understand that they'll work on any bike. Staff was friendly and helpful. I rented an ebike and had a great time. Plan on doing it again, and when I'm ready to buy I'll certainly go check them out. I saw Stromer, Blix, Bulls, Easy Motion, Motiv, and a Pedego, but maybe that was just a rental. I'm sure there were other brands that I missed. Overall, a great experience.

These people are beyond awesome, they explain everything you need to know especially if you've never ridden an E-Bike before (through a few test rides found the aventon aventure step over was PERFECT for me), they hook you up with details and how to set up the app, they're a 100% quality company and I will be recommending to friends who need ebikes, infact my dad is already interested and he's 72! I came in today to have a problem diagnosed on a Giant revel 1 that I installed a bafang mid drive motor on. Marty immediately greeted me, I called ahead. He took to it for a spin so he could feel what I felt. Let me know what adjustments need to be made. I was able to test out a custom bike that one of the Bike mechanics had in the store. When it is time to upgrade to a quality Ebike, I'm coming here as my first choice.

This is a MUST stop place, period! Literally one of the BEST local shops here in San Antonio from top to bottom, left to right. So clean, so professional, so knowledgeable. This is what it means to be a San Antonio Business. The scene and culture here are so smooth you will feel you are on a cruiser on a beach. Come by, say hi to Marty and his amazing wife and staff, you will not be let down, best service in town!

Bought an ebike for my girlfriend for her birthday and had an excellent experience. The owners were really friendly and knowledgeable. When we bought the bike, they did all the adjustments to make sure it was the right fit for her. Even let us do a test ride around the block to get a feel for the bike. Can't thank them enough for their assistance and would highly recommend this place to others.

What a great place to meet, have bike talk and enjoy positive vibes with others who really make you feel welcomed into this group of other riders!
