I recieved a gift for Valentine's Day to recieve these services. Every aspect was new to me because I did not set up things myself. I do not remember any names but thats only because the services were so great, I basically went blank! Lol The massage therapist was amazing. She was very knowledgeable of things I did not know about certain massage types. I told her my problem areas and she also performed services I had never recieved before considering how often I get massage services. I felt like the time was shorter, however it could be that I just didnt want her to stop. She had great pressure and was attentive if i told her I needed lighter pressure in certain areas. I was so relaxed, I felt light headed after! To ME, thats a sign of a great massage.lol The Esthetician was Amazing as well. I told her my concerns and she told me things about my skin that i didnt know. I was concerned that the products may not be good for my ethnic skin. However, she informed me that she was experienced working with all skin types and will does skin tests to note any sensitivity. I told her my other skin concerns and she gave advice on things to use moving forward. What I appreciate is that she did not try to push their products on my to purchase. I learned by her that my skin was better than i thought and that was a great boost of confidence! Although I dont remember any names...there was one person in the reception area that did not emit the best energy. She wasnt rude yet I did not feel the good energy everyone else had. I had a late appt and I had a lyft there to pick me up when I was done so I had to leave. I did not have time to go over the options with her so I took the brochure with me. Who knows what her day was like so this is not so much of a complaint just observation. I think when you are in a position to offer services and there is a sales pitch at the end; being considerate and having good vibes are everything! Since this was a gift, I would have prefered to be offered to take the brochure home and if i enjoyed the services, Id have the option to consider becoming a member, not push it on me after having such a relaxing and invigorating experience around closing time. Just not the thing to do ya know and the only reason I didnt give 5 stars. Other than that; I LOVED THE EXPERIENCE!!

I left with more stress than I had at my arrival. Now for the explanation. My wife has a membership at this location. She wanted to treat me to a massage but could not get an appointment at the same time so my massage was scheduled an hour or two later. I arrived and was greeted by the front desk. After they confirmed my appointment, I was asked to wait in the lobby. I waited for for several minutes while the front desk staff chatted with each other. My therapist came out to the lobby from the back and I had a massage. I am in no way a massage expert but the massage would be best described as “Meh” and uneventful. Also with the wait in the front and the stop time a “one hour massage” is really more like a 35 minute massage. The real “problem” began with my exit. Upon returning to the lobby I was asked how things went by the front staff and then curtly told I now owe $20. Confused, I then politely reminded the person as I had stated upon arrival that I was treated to a massage by my wife who was a member and she had used her extra credits. She then stated that I had an up charge for “deep tissue” and a “transfer fee”. I was confused by this and asked for an explanation. The semi rude reply was that I was not my wife and that since she “gave away” her credits then I am subject to the fee, but if she came in with me the fee could be waived... She then pressured me for a gratuity. Also topping it off by asking if I wanted to become a member. I paused, considered whether it was worth it to argue with this completely disconnected employee who really didn’t appear to care that I clearly had a problem with a fee that should have been clear BEFORE the massage not after. Given the fake welcome and fake “how were things” post massage I decided to just pay my bogus fees and leave. I paid a total of $30 for a “free massage” including gratuity. What would have been a non eventful massage turned into a bad experience and the feeling of getting scammed. I then called my wife to explain. She said they never stated anything about extra fees of any kind when she booked the appointment. My wife the said she has had “Meh” experience every time which is why she has unused credits. I am going to encourage her to drop this place for massages. I left with more stress than less.

we went for a couples messages here for our anniversary because my usual location was booked and we wanted it the same weekend as the special day. service was nice, but at the end of the service they charged me the member pricing, and my fiance regular pricing, although he had never been there before. I had credits saved up so we would only need to pay the tip and the small amount extra for a couples, so I was very confused why we were being charged +70 for his when we had never even been there before. they said since we had cancelled our appointment at a different location (my home base, because we wanted female therapists and it was a week before the appointment so it was fine to cancel without penalty) that it counts as an appointment for him so he’s getting charged the full retail price vs intro pricing. I did not understand this because we had never even been to this location and it was never explained before the service that their policy is different, meaning we will be charged the full amount even if he’s never been to the spa, only made an appointment and cancelled it. I was talking with the lady at the front desk for a while (not her fault, just enforcing the policy) and still didn’t really understand why we were being charged so much and why i wasn’t informed before the service, since i was a member i told someone on the phone and at the front desk before the appointment that i will be using my credits i had saved up for this day. I ended up just paying for it and leaving and it completely ruined our experience and start to our anniversary date because I had to pay much more than i thought and didn’t even know until it was over and I was forced to pay. I reached out to corporate about this and they forwarded my email to this store as well as others in the area, another store had reached out to me apologizing and said they will be following up with this location because i didn’t want to leave a review, I just wanted to resolve this but nobody has reached out to me in over two months.

Story time: I’ve been seeing that random “dance parties” help improve your mood so I did that while cooking on a Monday night….. it lasted about 10 seconds because I pulled every dang muscle in my neck. I finished cooking and went to bed and Tuesday morning I could barely move. I wanted to cry all day long. By Tuesday night I finally succumbed to just booking a massage at a well ranked massage spa and am so so happy I did! I had standard expectations of this place but I couldn’t have been more wrong. I think it’s mostly thanks to my massage therapist, Hiro. He has incredible anatomy knowledge and is very experienced. From helping me understand my own body and the trigger points and talking me through the breathing and communication for when it was too much or not enough. He gave me stretches to prevent further injury and told me how each exercise resolves certain strains. He’s very informative. Plus he’s got a fun personality which just made things so much easier to be comfortable and relax. I was so impressed I signed up for a membership after my intro massage. It is 100% worth every penny from the massage I experienced to all the other add ons or packages you can choose from there is an abundance of options that I can’t wait to try out. The office staff are all very kind and sincere. The facility is very clean and spacious and there are tons of awesome products I look forward to using. I 1000% recommend Hand and Stone to anyone that is seeking a family yet professional atmosphere. Everyone is very nice and knowledgeable and I have pretty high standards so it’s a big compliment.

EDIT (Response to comment from company): No thanks, I'm good. I've had multiple lengthy conversations with management. Your front desk personnel and assistant manager had no intention to assist me. Just don't.. Unreliable massage therapists (showed up to at least two appointments with the therapists cancelling day of - of course with no apology or reimbursement/solution), and unbelievably poor management. The process to cancel or pause your membership is intentionally difficult and can't be accessed via website and/or front desk personnel - delaying the processes to charge you additional monthly membership fees. This happened for THREE MONTHS. Every session you're being pushed to add upgrades, regardless of how many years you've been going and saying "no thank you." All of my favorite massage therapists have left and I understand why.

I booked to massages after are wedding day. The massage was good but after that they offered us a package to join. We explain that 2 memberships was to much. They explained we could do 1 and alternate with each other for services month to month. They just removed 140.00 from my account. It should have only been 69.00. When I I tried to get someone to fix at the location they just give you an email. They will not talk to you or fix it at the location. So after the email they said that you signed up for 2 and They can’t help me. I am in the customer service business and this is the worst I have seen in a long long time. I was going to keep 1 memberships but they could really care less. Don’t fall for it. In this day and age when money is tight and gas and food prices are high this is a luxury. To bad they don’t realize this.

If you are thinking about joining the monthly membership, look elsewhere. I have been trying to book a massage for several weeks, and they don't have any available appointments in the evening or weekend. After trying to schedule an appointment for over a month now, I decided to cancel my membership. They don't allow you just to cancel. You have to wait until a client retention specialist calls you. I have been waiting for over a week. In my attempt to get this resolved, I asked to speak to the manager. I tried several locations, but she is either not in or in a meeting. I have not heard back from anyone, and they just keep taking my name and number. This is very frustrating and very time-consuming. Take your business where you are appreciated as a customer.

One of the best massage parlors I've experienced and I have been to several around the world. Place is clean and neat but what put it over the top was the therapist ability to diagnose my symptoms and treat me effectively especially when it was contrary to what I assumed. Came in with back and behind the knee pain tightness. Diagnosed as hamstring strain which was fixed after 1 session. This surprised me because I was battling this issue for a week on my own to no avail. Profesional, courteous and highly recommended. Con: their auto-pay/cancellation policy/system is terrible. I tried canceling and was charged for the next THREE months having to call then EACH time. Amd each time it was a surprise to them. Only feedback that's not positive tho.

I have had two massages here. The facility is nice & clean, a relaxing environment. The customer service had been great both times. However, I have been a little disappointed with both of my massages. I usually ask for medium pressure but It has been very light both times. At some points in the massage it feels like there are just rubbing oil on you, rather than massaging. This was my experience with the Swedish massage. They have a membership program which is fairly priced. They give you their sales pitch at the end of your massage. Neither times have they been pushy about it though, which I appreciate. It’s a good massage spa. I think I preferred my experience with Massage Envy more.

Lovely pristine spa in the fairly new Arboretum Village Center (sometimes forget it's there now, so convenient). After having an excellent massage, I've decided to try a facial since they offer one for sensitive skin. Some places seem kind of set up for one-size-fits-all services, so it's nice to find a spa nearby that's geared to meet specific needs. Even my massage was based on a questionnaire that pinned down how intensive (or not) I wanted the massage to be plus the therapist draped me carefully, which was a relief since I tend to be a little modest. The aromatherapy option was nice too. Friendly, helpful staff. All in all, a first-rate experience.

I cannot recommend Rebekah highly enough to anyone seeking professional skincare treatments. Her passion, expertise, and genuine care make each facial experience truly exceptional. Angela is a WONDERFUL masseuse and I highly recommend her. Sadly, I can not recommend a membership here as the customer service is awful. After a year of membership, I had to cancel a service the day of because of a family medical emergency. Thy still charged me and I decided I would cancel my membership if they would not realize this was unavailable. I had one service left and just called to use it, but was told it expired 4 days ago. Ridiculous. I was ready to use the service I had and get a facial, but the manager has zero interest in accommodating the clients. Will try Massage Envy.

I was happy with the service in general but I was very disappointed when I was charged for someone else's membership and I called the Gaston location and was told I needed to email some Martha and so I did and she responded back quickly but never apologized and did not do as I asked , I told her to cancel my membership and I wanted a refund or I would dispute the transaction with my bank and again no apology just says that they charged me instead of my daughter's credit card!!! It still doesn't make it okay!!! An apology goes a long way just saying

I absolutely LOVE getting my facials from Rebekah!! Her expertise and passion for skincare and facials shine through in every step of the facial. She has a firm but gentle touch and thoughtful explanations of the products and treatments she does. I was delighted with the results of the Diamondglow and the neck treatment. My skin felt deeply hydrated, and the pesky dry patches I had been struggling with were noticeably improved. The facial had a radiant and dewy effect that lasted for days, making me feel more confident in my bare skin!!

I worked at this location for over 2 yrs. And for those wondering, I was fired via Text message right before my Grandmother's funeral. I have the most problem with the management, drama and unprofessional ways things seem to be done. I have had 3 appointments canceled by them now without my consent. If you are looking for somewhere to go to work, I don't recommend this location. If you are a client, they have some great therapists and estheticians. Just hope you don't have to deal with any management, they are very rude.

LOVE this place! I always go to Rebekah for my facials and she does an amazing job! She has helped me on bettering my skin and has recommended me products that I love! I always feel relaxed when she’s doing my facial. I also love the communication with this location. The receptionist are always so welcoming and they always keep me updated on my next appointment. I recently purchased the membership and I don’t regret it! If you book with Rebekah, add on the eucalyptus scalp massage! It’s the best!!

I've been Rebekah's client for about seven months and I cannot say enough great things about her! She treats my needs uniquely - meaning, she knows exactly what my skin needs and caters the service to that. She doesn't sell me on product and recommends only what I need, which had made an enormous difference for me. Plus she's so smart about the science behind skin care and communicating that to me. I'd give her 10 stars if I could. She's a wonderful asset to this location. I love her!

I chose this location because they are close to home. Had the BEST massage EVER by Walter, all by chance! He is amazing! Really. If you need a firm pressure massage to work out muscles, rather than a “relaxing” (ineffective imho) experience he is your guy. I could not even rotate my head right without pain and he worked on improving my flexibility and soreness... in one hour. Facility was clean and overall the staff was nice and accommodating. Will return as now I have a membership!

Two of my two visits to Hand & Stone have been unremarkable. Today's visit was by far the most cumbersome. I booked an appointment after several attempts only to be moved by the staff. The masseuse the staff insisted I try was switched at the last with no notice. I was charged for a deep tissue massage that was less than such. Going here has been a lot of work for an experience that should be stress free! Whew! Def rethinking that monthly subscription to the place

The facial experience was amazing! Rebekah is so incredibly sweet, easy to talk to about your needs. She is passionate about what she does, and I felt so comfortable trusting her with my skin! You can tell she knows her stuff and is so genuine about helping you with your skin. She does a wonderful job of talking you through the experience/service and welcomes all the questions you have! I highly recommend getting a service with Rebekah. you won’t be disappointed!

My experience at Hand and Stone has been amazing!! Rebekah is a true professional and an extremely talented esthetician. I have been going to her for facials and the new Cryoskin treatments and the results have been absolutely amazing. Rebekah is also very sweet and in her element. I have also enjoyed massages and everyone has been terrific. I highly recommend Hand and Stone and Rebekah if you are looking for amazing results, relaxation, and total pampering.

Laquisha is the best massage therapist that I have ever used! I have chronic neck and shoulder pain and she has helped more than six months of physical therapy, medicine, or any doctor I have seen. She is very knowledgeable and I always feel amazing after a session with her. I’ve used other therapists here and they are pretty good but she is by far my favorite and the reason I keep coming back. I have the membership and go twice a month. The value is great!

Walter the masseuse gets 5 stars... one of the best massages I’ve ever gotten. I never feel like I’m getting enough pressure, but not with him! He really seemed to know what he was doing. The actual facility gets 3 stars... they cancelled my massage twice the day of the appointment! If I didn’t have a gift card I wouldn’t have attempted to book a third time. The day of my appointment they did offer an add on service up to $15, so that was something.

May 2022 - Just had my 2nd visit to this location. Once again AMAZING! Who know waxing could be so painless. Leah Starr is so good at she does that I was drifting off to sleep. And I can't go without complimenting Nina and Steph in reception. Such bright/warm personalities. I need to go back more frequently. I’ve recently signed up for a membership following my first visit and have not been disappointed. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, the pricing is right, and my services so far have been perfect. The two prenatal massages I’ve received have left me feeling very relaxed and more at ease during my last few (uncomfortable) months of pregnancy. Looking forward to being a member for a long time!

I have been going to see Rebekah for a couple months now since I’ve moved to Dallas! My skin was seriously struggling with the move to TX, and the monthly facials have helped so much. I really like this location, and my experience every time has been great! I’ve even been late due to work traffic a couple times, and they’ve still squeezed me in my regular appointment times. Highly recommend!

I went to Hand and Stone because I was in a lot of pain from a pinched nerve. I was a walk-in late in the day and was greeted by the front desk with such a warm welcoming that I was instantly at ease. That really makes a HUGE difference in the experience. My massage therapist was helpful and knowledgeable and made me feel at ease/relaxed. I truly loved the experience and will be going back!

These people are a fraud. I went in I was advised my massage was 69.00 and my facial was 69.00. These people charged my credit card 179.00 and my bank card 69.00. These is so sad you trust these companies and they fraud you. I never ageed for them to take money from both my accounts or the amounts they took out. Who pays 300.00 for a facial and massage. I have filed a lawsuit against them.

I’ve been coming to Rebekah for a while now and she is the only person I’ll ever go to for a facial. She is so amazing at what she does, If you’re not booking with her, you’re really missing out because it is seriously the best facial ever. I go here once a month for a facial and after trying out a few of the ladies, I will only see Rebekkah now. She takes great care to personalize my service each time I go depending on what my skin needs that day. It is the most relaxing thing I am currently doing for myself. I think I even prefer facials over a massage. The location is close to my house and the staff is super friendly.

Great location but the waiting room is not relaxing. Really need to put some effort in there. Also showing timers in the rooms would be nice as it feels like they include all the time from when they pick you up in the waiting room until you pay as it definitely isn't the full hour like most actual spas do from the time they start touching your skin to the last stroke of the massage.

I have been going to this location for a year now and I really enjoy it, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and all the massage therapists I have seen have been wonderful. I previously was going to the Uptown location on McKinney (thumbs down) and I very much prefer the Lakewood location on Gaston! Much better customer service, and always a great experience.

I have been to Hand & Stone for both a facial and a back massage. I had a wonderful experience each time. The staff was very friendly and helpful with information and answering any questions I had. Options to upgrade my service were offered but there was no hard sell to upgrade - which I appreciated. Both facial and massage were excellent! I would go back again.

I feel like the establishment is only as good as it masseuses. LaQuisha was the best I’ve ever had at listening to my requests instead of just rolling through a standard massage routine for every client. She’s one of the most requested at Hand & Stone, and for good reason. Glad I lucked out with an opening. Definitely recommend asking for her if you visit.

Was feeling sore after my flight in for vacation and saw this place had good reviews. Apparently with good reason. I always have a hard time finding places that aren't afraid to use some pressure and really get into the muscle and this place was a rare exception. I left feeling so much better than I went in and will probably book again on my next vacation.

Both my son and myself have had Rebekah as our skin care specialist and she makes good suggestions on which treatment is best suited for us based on the different issues that we have. The facials and other treatments have made a big difference in the clarity of our complexions. It is always a treat to relax during the service and feel renewed afterwards.

Rebekah has been my esthetician for over a year now and she's really incredible. She will evaluate your skin at each appointment to determine the best skin treatment at that time. She will offer recommendations but never push if you are not ready. Taking care of your skin is a must so make an appointment to see Rebekah today because she books up fast!

Such great service! My husband and I went for a couple's massage and walked out on Cloud 9. We feel refreshed and our backs are on the road to better days. Office staff were all informative and pleasant. Walter and Jenny, our masseuses, were out of this world talented and were professional and very kind. Will recommend this to friends and family.

My husband works over 72 hour weeks and we needed a massage! Him more than me. Anyway, we looked everywhere and we called around they got us in the next day, and he LOVED it and he is sooo picky. We had a couples massage and it was price i admit but totally worth it! The ladies were super nice. & our massage therapists were professional & great!

I've been keeping an eye on this place since before they even opened. Never disappointed. I have been in for a massage and my wife has a membership, so she goes regularly for massages and facials. We have both been very happy and feel this is a great addition to the neighborhood.

Had another amazing facial by Rebekah! She always knows exactly what my skin needs. Her facial massage at the end of the service almost put me to sleep. Definitely recommend you request her for your next visit, she’s very attentive and is very knowledgeable of the product line.

I recommend HS. Very clean and tidy locations at both Arboretum and NW Hwy locations. Nina is professional, and detail oriented. The LMTs that I have visited with are both very competent. Angela is awesome and utilizes medium+ pressure. I will return to either location.

Pretty overpriced for what you get. It was good but I wasn’t overwhelmed by the service. To add hot stones was pretty pricey. Also they call it an hour massage but it’s really 50 minutes
