The place is a cool concept, but could really be cleaned up a bit. I feel that management is inexperienced in running a business like this. They do not seem to see the bigger picture, in way that could increase their over all profits in the long run. For example, they have wifi that does not really work anywhere in the store. The store looks like it may have been built prior to the internet's existence, if not during it. There are people that would utilize the tables and patio for group meetings, in which they could offer the store money just to rent the space, but also the individual attendees would then spend money while there, thus increasing the store's overall profits. They seem too cheap to hire a wi-fi specialist to come and fix their wi-fi system, failing to see the bigger picture. They seem more interested in gaining upon their well-placed location alone. They are surrounded by middle class and upper-middle class families that likely enjoy shopping there due to the convenience of location. BUT, because the internet (something they seem willfully ignorant of lol...) is taking over the market, in the next decade or so, as stores like Amazon and Walmart increase the abilities of their delivery services, and accomplish things that Webvan failed to back in the early 2000's, local stores will not be able to compete with the competitive marketplace prices; as wholesale stores will continue to build factories and warehouses closer to suburbs, which will push older business models like this Harris Teeters out of the neighborhood. In fact, I would wager that this Harris Teeters grocery store is planning to close, which is why they are cutting corners and pinching pennies, instead of finding innovative ways to stay in business and increase their overall financial gains. They will probably sell the location to Walmart or some commercial real estate company within the next 10 years. Sad, because they have so much potential to evolve with the spirit of the times. They have a wine and beer bar upstairs, and allow musicians to play there. I think they only allow this once a week on a Thursday though. Why? If you have multiple open mic nights and support the local arts, you will not only enrich the entire local community and earn their respect and admiration, but again; you would increase your overall profit. Make the local people happy, and they will want to continue supporting you. Exceed their current expectations and blow them away, then you will have people traveling from neighboring communities to see what this store is all about; which would again, increase your profit... A lot of things in the store are outdated and need to be replaced. There are actual safety hazards. The other day I walked outside onto the patio upstairs to see what it was like, and realize that the concrete patio stone tiles were not fully supported underneath. They have rather large circular-shaped holes underneath them, only offering partial support to the tiles. I noticed this because I saw one of the tiles broken in half. I was surprised and felt unsafe, so I made my way back inside. On my way back inside, I lost my balance and nearly fell over because one of the concrete patio stone tiles was not fully supported, and it "teetered" (lol... guess I understand the store name now), causing me to almost fall. Very unsafe, and poorly regulated construction. The reason I am giving the store 1-star, is not because of just the above mentioned things, but mostly because management and whoever owns the store, really does not seem to care at all about their customers, but only means to milk the local community of their hard-earned money, based solely on the advantage of the store's location. I have met many cool, honest, hard-working staff here, who were just wonderful people. Sadly, most of them are not management. A couple of the managers there are good people, whereas the majority of them are in it purely for the money and do not seem to really like their jobs. If they do not like their jobs, then find someone who would! Anyways...

Really disappointed with the management here at Harris teeter. A few girlfriends and I came to grab some food and saw a woman struggling to pay for her items (she was short 5$). When a friend of mine offered to pay, shortly after a couple of employees offered to make up the difference, my friend was told no she could not and turned away. I then asked to speak to management on why one customer was not allowed to help another and she said that there were too many people like her coming in and out of there begging. First of all, this woman was not begging nor was she being spiteful to the employees. I will not be coming back to this Harris teeter and I hope to see some changes in the heart of this place. At a time like this in the world, we should be more compassionate to those who need us.

If you like feeling like a ghost amongst canned goods and produce this is the perfect neighborhood grocery store for you. I think this is the only Harris Teeter I have ever been in where not a single person working there acknowledges my presence whether I’m at the deli counter trying to get a breakfast sandwich at 9:58 a.m. or if I’m in the check out line. I could be pulling out a bag of spinach from the cooler and someone comes right in front of me to load the shelves as if they didn’t see me. It feels a little like I’m bothering or annoying the staff just by grocery shopping in a grocery store. Definitely a pretentious vibe, but I guess it is Myers Park.

At the time of me posting this it has the Harris Teeter located in the wrong space, it is the large building on the corner. This is an interesting location, and goes to show how Harris Teeter adapts based on the neighborhood they are located in. This store has a much larger wine selection than most stores. I feel most stores focus on a mix of beer and wine, while this store actually advertises its wine selection and has outdoor seating overlooking the Queens/Providence intersection. Parking is limited, in a more car centric part of the city this might be an issue, but I’ve only been a few times. Just look out for Range Rovers hogging the compact spaces.

Smaller than some of the Harris Teeter super stores, this neighborhood store has everything you need for your basic shopping… PLUS… an open space wine bar upstairs right next to the chips section. People are friendly. You can stop off as a single person without the stigma you might find at a regular bar. Choose either a moment of solitude in public or open an easy conversation with a nearby patron. The wine selection is good. There’s a beautiful patio right outside if you want to enjoy fresh air in comfortable sofa seating. And you might even find some live music going on. What’s not to like?

I love the store! Its very clean and has great baked chicken and soups, but i just wish it had an asian hot bar. I wouldnt change any thing about the cleanliness or anything else except adding an asian hot bar. The staff and everybody who works there are very helpful, friendly and have great attitudes. The cashier i had had a very upbeat and happy personality. I just got bumbed out because i had my mind set on getting the asian bar, because i had never been in this location to know they didnt have one. That was my only bummer while i was there....

If I could rate my experience lower I would, on a Saturday morning there was only one cashier, they already had two people in their line that had full buggies. My buggy was full but I was forced to use self-checkout, The bags were all stuck together, Very hateful experience, none of the produce would scan! And the woman who waited on me and had to fix the register twice said nothing, I mean completely nothing, extremely rude!!! I have completely lost my faith in Harris teeter, and the VIP stuff is comical!! This one never has enough employees!

Met some friends at the upstairs wine, beer and beverage bar to hear a local singing talent one evening recently. I did not realize HT had performers come in as well as the bar and outside balcony seating at this particular HT in Myers Park! We had a great time and the local craft beer selection (as well as the wine selection) at the bar were very good!! Also prices of wine and beer were on special (local craft beer for $4 and $5). Assuming HT has these events regularly so know I'll be back!

Mr. Doug is super nice !! I was at the self check out and he was super helpful, what I didn't like was that when i was scanning some coupons a lady manager came and screamed at him because he had to scan the coupons when he was behind me looking the whole time. C'mon now lady! & he was running back and forth to do customer service at the same time because you guys were short on staff. He's an elderly man and I feel like y'all shouldn't have him running back and forth :/

It's always a pleasure shopping at Harris Teeter. I hadn't visited this store before and was unaware of an elevator to the second floor that had items I needed. The cashier explained how to get up to the second floor and told me she would hold my groceries until I came back downstairs. One of the employees accompanied me upstairs and pointed out the items I was looking for. Sensational customer service. Beautiful store. Great experience.

This Harris Teeter appears to be in a nice neighborhood, nice exterior and all. If someone blindfolded me and took me to the bathrooms in the place I would say we were in a bad neighborhood. The bathroom doors are dingy and the paint is peeling off the edges, graffiti is written on the baby change table. The bathroom appears to not be cleaned often as well.

Workers have gone way past above and beyond helping me look to find any watermelon slices and when we couldnt she looked for the person who worked produce. She said there wasnt anymore cut and I told her it was fine since she was busy doin something else but she insisted on cutting sum fresh for me. So thank u very much Ty and pauline

This is the ONLY HARRIS TEETER THAT I HAVE RATED FIVE STARS. This is a very very nice one. There is even an elevator that you can take your cart on because there are more goods on the top level. This place has a little bar and a very nice second story outdoor seating area. You can also hear live music here on occasion.

They have a consistent lack of everything. The produce section looks like the hurricane came through. What produce they do have looks like its been sitting there for weeks. They almost always never have the meat you need. I shop here for the convenience but for big shopping trips I prefer other grocery stores close by.

I order express lane pick-up pretty often and the order has been perfect every time. This last time, my steak was forgotten, and i called to let them know, and Justin went ABOVE AND BEYOND to fix the issue. Threw in an extra ribeye AND delivered it!! It’s been an incredible customer service experience.

My favorite Harris Teeter. Excellent deli, wine selection and beer selection (like the make your own craft beer 6). As others have said I enjoyed eating my salad from the salad bar upstairs at the wine area. Great view and really quiet. Nice Starbucks downstairs. Really good managers and staff.

It's the best Harris Teeter I love the staff especially Mr Doug and everyone. I had a small issue today and the Manager Jenny was kind enough to take care of it. She was super friendly and so sweet. I been going to this HT for couple of years and it's so amazing.

I had an gift card for a hundred bucks, I told the cashier to take anything off my cart if its over 100$. The cashier tends to make the total 300$. I tried again same thing same result. Maybe the cashier i had was by coincidence. Two stars for now......

  • SisterGracePlays

Very good place to shop but a little crowded at the bottom floor. But the top floor is way less crowded. most of the time☝️. VERY HIGH PRICES FOR STEAK AND CHICKEN AND MEDICAL PRODUCTS AND MEDICATION! PLENTY OF CHIPS. ☝️ …

Harris Teeter is the best. It's somewhat expensive, but you can also buy things that aren't available at other stores. I can't buy fresh basil at Food Lion, but I can at HT. Fresh herbs are readily available here, as is 7 layer dip.

  • Justin Rogalsky

Not sure what’s wrong with the deli but the gentleman Brandon in deli was rude and didn’t want to help me from the way his attitude was. I guess this is why people go to Publix for subs

  • Isabelle Kelley

Great service every time. The layout is a little chaotic compared to Publix and the produce is not as fresh but they do have a great variety of products, produce, wine and so on.

  • Timothy Gosey

Very clean store. The associates are well trained. Great sub sandwich. The store is two floors with a glass enclosed elevator, really cool to watch. Great produce department.

  • Emily Martin

Paulette is the BEST! Between her positive attitude, customer service skills and eye for florals - she is a gem. She makes my day a little brighter each time I see her.

  • S

Worst wine bar. Bartenders do not care about their job at all. Just shut it down at this point. The other teeter bars are 100 percent better.

  • Tom Ryan

Amazing!!! There is a bar where you can enjoy a glass of wine before you grab your Tostitos off the shelf. Travis is a great bartender.

  • Jeff Martin

Hands down the nicest Harris Teeter I've ever been in. They have a bar and the bartenders could not be more friendly.

  • Emma Smith

Lazy management. Fortunately, the bakery staff is very kind but I wish the bakery was open later.

  • Gulya Kadyrova

Best of the Best, everything fresh and delicious. Nice price. Nice employee people.

  • Kristy Lella

This was Amazing! Such a cool store! Love the elevator. Everyone was really nice.
