UPDATE: Since I posted this comment/review to inform other clients, the office has dropped my dog as a patient. I had no issues with the staff or with Vet. Dr. Landini who was my dog’s Vet and he was absolutely wonderful. The staff was always so very nice and helpful. My issue was with this one practice that they have which got my dog labeled by my pet insurance an aggressive dog with behavioral issues. Last week I called the office on Thursday morning to make an appt. for a painful sore that my dog developed on Wednesday. They said they would call me back. The next call I get was from Jacquelyn who said she was calling on behalf of the office manager. She proceeded to tell me they will no longer be seeing my dog and dropping us as a client. I was left speechless. My first thoughts after that were they got pissed at me because I made a review that questioned one of their practices, instead of working with me to see how we can rectify this; they took the easy way out. I made my comment because it was important to inform other clients to let them know of this practice. The next thing that really upset me was that they refused to see a dog knowing that he was injured and in distress. I couldn’t believe a veterinary office would ever do that and all because they were pissed at me. The decision they made to not treat an injured animal is an unspeakable action. I've been taking my German Shepherd to this Vet clinic for maybe 3 years. I've been very happy with them. I prefer staying with the same doctor vs getting a different doctor with every visit. There has been one issue that has come up. I have dog insurance, so this issue can be of concern if you have pet insurance or if you don't but later you plan to get insurance. My GSD started getting anxiety over fireworks. The Vet prescribed Trazodone and this is when this whole experience started with the insurance and the Vet clinic. I submitted the invoice for the drug to the insurance and let me add that I am happy with my pet insurance. It was declined and I submitted an appeal. They came back saying it was a pre-existing condition. I replied saying this was the first time he experienced this anxiety and first time taking this drug. The insurance requested all his Vet records. After reviewing all his records which includes detailed notes that the Vet office includes, they determined he had a pre-existing condition which is aggressive behavioral problems. This label that the insurance has put on my dog was based on notes that were made on his records for visits we've made to the office. Evidently, the office makes note of every little thing the dog does and that I do. My dog is not aggressive or has behavioral issues. He plays with kids, loves people, loves his groomer, and is friendly to his Vet doctor and the staff. The times we have gone for vet visits are if he's injured or for his annual physical. Now, is he going to be a happy go lucky dog if he's injured, no he isn't. With physicals you get injections and examined all over. For my dog, I sometimes use a muzzle for the simple reason of making him relaxed, at ease, feel safe and then you can do anything to him with no issue. The vet office adds this type of information and much more to the notes. So now my dog is labeled an aggressive dog with behavioral issues. The wording they use on these notes has been an issue before which caused an issue with the insurance on another claim. Be aware of this practice and request to review all notes taken before you leave the office or even ask what they plan on writing in the notes after every exam. It's how they word things that is the issue. They make note that I put a muzzle on my dog, but don't add that this relaxes the dog for the examination. I guess muzzle equals an aggressive behavioral dog and now my dog has this label.
I have been bringing my pit to heal for some time now. I've never 100% felt comfortable with how the vets speak to you. Recently, he was due for his annual vaccines. They called me prior to the appointment and claimed he has been difficult to handle in the past and might need to be sedated. I mentioned that my husband would be the one taking him, so he would have to sign if that was the route we were required to take. First of all, they act like my dog is the only dog to ever not enjoy being restrained. They give me some meds to make him drowsy prior to the appointment, which we gave him, but they never work. My husband takes him and they tell him he needs to be sedated for his vaccines. They give him the sedative and allow time for it to kick in. 30 minutes later my dog still hasn't gone completely down, so they give him ANOTHER SEDATIVE. They didn't even TRY to administer the vaccine before doing it again. On top of this, they told my husband my dog ALSO NEEDED BENADRYL because "he's had an allergic reaction to sedatives in the past." They also told him that they informed ME of this on the phone and I said it was fine. NEVER told me ANYTHING about an allergic reaction or Benadryl. We called a different vet where he had ACL surgery and explained the situation. They said the use of the drugs was RECKLESS. 26 hours later my dog is STILL out of it and not himself. THEN my husband made the tech triple check and explain the charges. He even showed my husband an itemized bill. He said it would be around $380. He gets to the front and it's $685. The tech then said he never said it was only $380 and that my husband was wrong. Never coming here again.
The people here are nice, and it is a very nice establishment, however they overcharge... BY A LOT. I have taken my dog there twice, and both times were 200+ dollars. I just today took him here because I saw blood in his vomit, later in the day he seemed fine but I figured I would take him here just to be safe. They did simple bloodwork on him to see if he has some type of blood loss or is anemic or diabetic, nothing showed. The bill before I left was literally a couple dollars short of 400... ridiculous. I left the place without any insight as to why he was vomitting blood, literally no diagnosis, and I am now out 400 dollars. I am not rich, I am a struggling college student and a military veteran who has this dog as a support animal. I honestly think it is disgusting that they would take advantage of people like this when they are just trying to care for the ones they love. If you like people smiling through their teeth and taking advantage of you, or if you enjoy setting your hard earned money on fire, I highly recommend this establishment. If however you find that you are a sensible person who is just trying to take care of your little partner at a reasonable price, I suggest going somewhere else, ANYWHERE else. I for one will not be returning. Don't say you weren't warned. Its 3:20 am the night of/morning after this appointment and my dog has once again thrown up the contents of his stomach, and has almost simultaneously passed very bloody stool. I wish I had any kind of idea of what is going on with him after taking him to the vet today and spending 400 dollars, money well spent...
I cannot reccomend this place enough. I've tried a large number of vets and this is the only place I go back to. Every member of staff from the Techs to Front Desk to Dr.s are competent and eager to help/talk to you about your pet or pet issue very in depth. I'm never rushed or brushed off no matter how many questions I have.. Buncha pet nerds in the very best way. Raymond the tech has been especially helpful and understanding, my dog loves him even though he's associated with shots and ear exams, which is a testament to his awesomeness. Dr. Henry even worked an hour into her lunch to take care of my pup when I called for a minor emergency. Dr. Lee and Dr. Rassmusen have also been fantastic, so much so that I don't push to see the same doctor every time because I'm confident they'll all be amazing. They're so knowledgeable, caring, and really seem to love their jobs and never rush an exam. A lovely, caring, and high tech practice and everyone, even staff I never interacted with recognize and remembering dog and her issues. The lobby has a room slightly out of the way for more anxious/reactive pets to keep them calmer. Certified fear-free handling. AAHA accredited. Not cheap, but you get at least the quality you pay for.
This vet is fantastic. I had two old pups whose vet wasn’t able to see them for 5 weeks even though they were both near the end….I called because my girls were having a “bad day” and Dr Leahy was able to get them into her schedule. Unfortunately, both girls eventually didn’t make it after a few months with Heal, but I feel so lucky to have found this Vet and specifically Dr Leahy. When things were bad they always squeezed us in, and the team at Heal always took our calls and helped us when we needed it. Everyone was so patient and so helpful that it made what we were going through so much easier. When our girls passed we got a card from the entire team at Heal. Since our pups passed over the rainbow bridge we have have a new puppy and have brought her to Heal twice to see Dr Leahy. Each time it has been the same exceptional level of care. And, the followup from the vet has been totally above our expectations. We always get a call the day after our visit to see if we have any questions and to make sure everything is going okay. If we have a question it’s always answered. Overall, Heal sets the bar for vets. After 20+ years of having pets this is the best vet I’ve ever been too. Kudos to being so amazing!
I just got back from my first visit with my dog to Heal and I have to give credit where it’s due - we had such an amazing experience today! Earlier this week I tried to take my dog to another vet in the area for a wellness checkup and vaccinations, and we couldn’t get any of it done because my dog was feeling so nervous and started to panic. I tried again at Heal and I was so excited to see how much of an effort the staff made to create a comfortable and pleasant experience for my dog from the second we walked in. They made sure to get him comfortable with them and fed him treats and were very patient and caring through the entire process. It was very clear they are experts at what they do and we were able to get my dog’s shots done so easily! He even seemed like he was having fun during his visit which was so cute to see. My dog can definitely be a handful, so I’m really happy to have found a vet that’s willing to be patient with him and I can’t thank them enough!
We recently moved to the area in May and needed a new vet. We received a voucher in the mail for a free first visit, and I'm so glad we took advantage of that. My dog Joanie means everything to me, and having a great vet is a very high priority. I knew we made the right choice when Dr. Stecher took a few minutes at the beginning of the exam to sit down, pet her, and make her comfortable. She treated her like she was her own, and we were very happy with that. Not only were they friendly and caring, Dr. Stecher and the rest of the staff were extremely competent and able to properly diagnose her. Unfortunately, Joanie now has a spinal condition that requires long term medication and blood tests to monitor her kidneys and liver. But Dr. Stecher and the rest of the staff have made this process so much easier. We feel like family every time we come in, and I can tell Joanie appreciates all the love she gets from everyone. I'd recommend Heal to anyone!
We had a very bad experience at the clinic today. My dog is very sick and we were driving down from the North Shore to the clinic, because we’ve been customers there for years since he was a baby, and we moved up north but wanted to continue with the continuity of care. We think he might have congestive heart failure… He’s having a hard time walking and breathing and he’s really in bad shape. Because of traffic we were 15 minutes late and they refused to see us. It was really traumatic for him and us, because he was in so much pain driving down there…to put him through that and then for them to REFUSE to see him was devastating.. I don’t feel that they put the best interest of the animals first… We will be seeking care elsewhere and advising people to stay away from this clinic. If you have a crisis with your dog… They apparently do not care!
As far as the review, they take awesome care of pets. They are kind and gentle and take their time. I usually don't wait long at all. The vet will personally call you to talk and they don't charge to ask a question and the scheduling is pretty easy and quick. They'll also communicate by email. I do have to call out a specific employee, Jacqueline is an absolute delight. She's super friendly, very helpful, etc...It makes any issue kind of just dissolve because the customer service is so good. Also, Dr. Henry and Lehey are extremely compassionate and knowledgeable. The cost is a little high for visits and treatment. Especially the cost of meds. But it's kind of like you get what you pay for in other areas - the care and the kindness and scheduling and coordination. But yes, the cost is on the higher end. That's the only feedback I have.
I will never take my dogs anywhere else, ever. We love Dr. Lee and his techs. It’s rare to find a group of professionals that educate you and take their time with you. Our little dachshund was so fearful and Dr. Lee handled him with confidence. Their customer service is just truly outstanding. Jaclyn and Ben in the front office will go above and beyond to get you in and make sure you have everything you need to focus on what you are there for! Something that goes unmentioned way too often is that they have their sister training and boarding facilities connected to the clinic. You just simply get it all and it shows. Thanks, Heal.
We are so happy to have this clinic so close to us. All the front desk staff are friendly and I can tell they love animals. I love that they call a day or two after the appointment to check up on how my dog is doing. I’ve seen Dr. Landini and Dr. Leahy, both are awesome. They always answer my questions (and I usually have a lot) even though I can tell they are busy. Love that they come in the room already knowing my dog’s history and why she’s at the vet today. Yes, this place is expensive. But that’s the price of high standards of care. Have you ever looked at your own medical bills before insurance deductions? #NOMV
This vet is AMAZING. A friend found an Indian ring-necked parakeet alone outside in 20-degree weather. My usual vet wasn't open, so we called Heal and Dr. Rasmussen was able to see the bird within 20 minutes. (Our only other option was going to Midwest Exotic Hospital, which was much farther away and more expensive, since it was an emergency.) Their staff was so knowledgable and friendly, and their office was gorgeous and clean — probably the nicest vet office I've ever seen, in fact. The whole experience was so great, I think I'm going to switch my other pets to their practice. Would highly recommend!
We had an appointment for our dog…he can barely walk and it was difficult to get him into the car..We think he might have congestive heart failure and be very very sick. We were running 15 minutes late because of traffic, we were coming down from the North Shore to the clinic. They refused to see him. It was very Traumatic to drive him down and he was in a lot of pain, and they a lot 30 minutes for an appointment and we begged and pleaded, and they refused to see him. I’m so sad and disappointed in this establishment… I don’t feel that they have the best interest of the pets at heart, only money .
We recently adopted a puppy and decided to try out Heal. After looking at several different vets in the area, we landed on Heal. We really liked that they are a vet but part of their whole complex has a spa, training, hotel, and grooming. It felt like such and easy decision for our new puppy and our cat. The staff are amazing with both my fur babies and the vets are prompt, approachable, and gentle. Our vet is Dr. Lee and we are so so happy to have him. Neither of my pets cried when they got their shots. In fact, my puppy is actually excited when he is at the vet! We love Heal!
We hav been going to see Dr Landini for over 13years, he started taking care of our little Cocker Spaniel when he started having seizures around 1year old. Ben passed away last summer he would've been 13 this November. He has taken care of a host of other animals for us, a Rottweiler, 3 Dobermans, a Silky Terrier, a Maltese Mix, a bunch of sweet little Muts, a bunch of kitties, a Blue and Gold Macaw and an Iguana. I think that's everyone, he has been concerned about all of them. We followed him from Animal Ark and we will follow him no matter where he goes. He is our Doctor
I don't have a g-mail account so I'm using my son's. This vet clinic is wonderful. The staff is nice and caring. Dr. Landini is wonderful when it comes to the reptiles. I was very grateful and truly appreciate it when he came in for an emergency care for my sick bearded dragon. Even though my tiny guy passed away from being super sick. Dr. Landini did the best he could with what he has. This place is wonderful because he personally called me up to send me his condolences. I'm not sure how many other vet clinics (doctors even) would do this.
Aside from the prices being some of the most affordable in Chicago (and I called many), Dr Leahy was seriously the kindest, and funniest vet I've ever brought an animal companion to. She immediately put my mind at ease concerning the reasons I'd brought my furry son in, and he absolutely loved her. I don't remember the name of the woman who assisted her but they worked incredibly well together and both were so sweet to both my pup and my partner and I. I've already been recommending Heal to friends! Thank you so much Dr Leahy!
We love Heal! They cared for our previous dog and 2 cats, and Heal was there caring for them until the bitter end alongside us. They have been treating our two girls (a pittie and a mastiff) for almost 10 years now — through all the good and always there through the hard times, they have been expert in treatments and caring and so kind through it all. I’ve most recently recommended my brother and SIL to Heal too for their two pups. From the front desk to the amazing techs and the expert vets - you’ll be glad you chose Heal.
I have a 7yr old bunny that had an overgrown tooth. It’s hard to find a good exotic pet vet in my area that doesn’t charge insanely high prices. I gave heal a chance and it was a great decision! The front desk staff was very kind and the vet, along with the vet tech were both very knowledgeable and gentle with Cinnabun. He was super comfortable and they took care of his tooth quickly. Thank you to everyone at heal for taking great care of my fur baby! We will be coming back for all of Cinna’s vet care needs.
Brought my miniature pinscher in for an emergency after she ate a grape. I usually go to a different vet but Heal was open past 6 and was close by. Luckily they had appointments open and could see us immediately (otherwise we'd have to visit an emergency clinic). Dr. Lee and staff were thorough, courteous, and quick. They took my dog's comfort into consideration and we're very careful not too upset her too much. Overall, for a grape incident, we're very happy with how everything happened.
They nickel and dime you!! Almost triple of what I usual pay at my old vet... Friendly staff , clean place and that's about it. I asked how much my dogs shots would be. They told me at the desk well the doctor will let you know how much after my dog got his shots. They know they are overpriced and the discount just lures new customers in. NEW CUSTOMERS BE CAREFUL!!! Your dogs standard shots will cost you $600+ but the discount will bring it down a little.
I love everything about this office. The people who work there are so incredibly friendly and Dr. Landini is the best! I can tell he actually cares about my cats as much as I do and they are always at ease with him. One time he had kittens he was fostering in the back of the office and brought me and my husband back to play with them just because! They just really make you feel welcome and at home there and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else :)
Best experience we've had with professional pet care thus far in the city. We've had our two little lifelong dependent companions with them for a few years now and every visit has been hygienic, friendly, and thorough. The staff and doctors are knowledgeable, as well as exceptionally helpful - I feel a lot more confident with the care of my little fur fellows having this team with us. Thanks a lot Heal! (Cat pics are a bonus, you're welcome).
Very nice place! Recently changed vets and decided to try this vet, and we love it! Loving staff, and you can tell they really care about the pets and their owners. Example, our little guy had some issues and could have had many things done to him so we could pay more instead he suggested not all the things were necessary as he could see he was doing good with the things he had already tested. Highly recommend this place to all pet parents.
Been to a zillion vet clinics....none seemed to have worked out. Heal is okay ....no problems-yet. Place is clean but I wonder about their expertise. Could be I've been to too many vet clinics that either screwed up or just acted indifferently. Their prices are consistent with most clinics. My 4 legged girls mean the world to me.... Only thing is I dont like about them is when i call I can never talk to vet, it's always someone at the desk.
From the front desk to the techs to the vets, Heal Vet gets 5 stars. And I can truly say that because I am pretty sure I have met them all at this point! They are extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and reasonable when it comes to pricing. There have also been multiple times where they have squeezed me in same day, which is such a huge bonus when it comes to vets. Dr. Landini really knows what he is doing over there. Thank you Heal!!!
Heal has been our #1 vet for our dog, Kiwi, her whole life. They take care of her as if she was one of their own which brings us great comfort. She's had two minor surgeries at Heal with great success. Having your dog undergo surgery is always stressful and each time, the entire staff has been been tremendous in answering our questions and talking us through details with care and expertise. We could not recommend Heal enough!
This office is amazing. I can't imagine taking my pets anywhere else. I have two cats and a dog, and the have been wonderful with all of them. Gabby at the front desk is also so kind and helpful, the techs always handle the pets with love and affection, and the physicians always are very thoughtful and informative. The prices are not over expensive, like I feel like some other vets in the city are. Highly recommend.
They take good care of the animals and know what they are doing. First visit you get a first time discount, but they are very expensive. I took my dog in for an ear infection and they charged me for looking at his ear gunk with a microscope medicine and then to clean the ear. They seem to add charges wherever possible. I would look a different way next time. They nickel and dime you every chance they get.
I ADORE Heal and Animal Ark Veterinarian Clinics. Staff is compassionate and all genuinely great souls. We tried a few different places when we first moved to Chicago. Most just wanted to get as much money from me as possible. Heal has very reasonable prices for Chicago, they don't run up the bill with unnecessary expenses, and most importantly clearly care about the patient first.
My 4 legged best friend is not only my best friend, but my emotional support. She recently injured herself and had to get CCL surgery. I was worried sick. Heal was INCREDIBLE. They explained everything so wonderfully to me and told me how great my girl did on her surgery day. I was so comforted to know they took their absolute best care of her. I 100% trust them.
I was fortunate to have found this place since I had to put my baby down due to his old age and condition. The Dr. and staff were very helpful. The compassion and care they showed to my baby and us was visible and you could really feel the warm feeling. I wish i knew this place long ago. Im sure my dog would had been in really good hands. RIP my sweet Scooby ❤️
Dr. Henry at Heal Vet Clinic has taken great care of our Australian Labradoodle, Daisy. Daisy, like many doodles, has had GI issues and allergy/itching issues. Dr. Henry has been very thoughtful and conscientious in how she has addressed the issues. Also, we love the front desk staff and vet techs. They are all so friendly and caring with all of the pets.
Best vet ever for cats and dogs. I have had my puppy here since day one and was so impressed I recently moved my 9 yr old cat to this practice. Super nice staff and a great network of doctors who are tapped into medvet for one solid experience. Very up on latestbtechnology and super knowledge. I never feel hustled here. They are amazing!
They charge full consultation as "deposit" prior to visit if you're new and will refuse service if you arrive a bit late doesn't matter the circumstances. When I'd bring my foster pets here, I had to patiently wait for the vet to finally be done with other patients and check on my fosters... but now they can't wait 10 mins for me?
I am so happy that I found Heal Vet. As many people know, it’s hard to find a consistent, safe, compassionate vet clinic these days. From the front desk to the doctors, everyone here is so sweet and knowledgeable! And a special thank you to Jaclyn! She has always been so kind and helpful. I recommend Heal Vet to everyone.
Love love love Heal! My dog, Chief, can be more than a little dramatic and skittish during vet visits but everyone from the front desk to the vet techs have been so wonderful and take everything in stride. Dr Stecher is a fantastic vet - she's extremely patient, thorough and knowledgeable. I cannot recommend Heal enough!
I don't really right a review, but I have to say the technicians and Vets here are so informative. I took my little guy in the other day and he did so well for vaccines and by himself with COVID and their prices are really affordable. Big ol shout out to Dr. Henry and Raymond the technician for taking care of Chico.
Very professional staff, and an extremely knowledgable veterinarian. Facility is extremely clean, and they have all the testing on site! It's a bit of a drive for me, since I came in from the suburbs, but worth the drive. My friend recommended Heal, and I am not disappointed. Will definitely be coming back!
Dr. Landini knew immediately what my boy's skin issues were and put us on a course for treatment and prevention going forward. I feel like he listens to me and really looks at and pays attention to my dog. They're also usually running on time or close to on time, which I appreciate. Great place!
I love this place. They're always so friendly. We took our ferret here and ended up adopting a kitten on the visit. I love how there's a doctor who specializes in ferrets and I'm definitely going to keep taking my ferret and kitten here. Front desk girl is always nice as well as the doctors.
Our first-time visit was good. Because I told the clinic beforehand that my cat gets very anxious during vet visits, they were ready for us. They implemented calming methods, which I believe really worked. Dr. Leahy seemed very nice and patient with our pet and we didn't feel rushed.
We have had a couple of our cats by you. Was an excellent experience with both. We have been following Dr Monica around for a number of years now and due to that is how we found out about you. Am very happy with the service so far, and will continue to use you for our pet needs .
Always answers questions throughly. Dr. Landini knows exactly how to treat any illness! Was not worried about my puppy during surgery. He helped with my senior pup until the very end. Best vet I have every had. The office staff is extremely knowledgeable!!! Wonderful family!!!
Every single staff member at Heal Vet Clinic is amazing and so incredibly kind. I've never had issues with scheduling or cancelling & I love that they have in-app scheduling now! The doctors are so thorough and I always leave feeling like my babies received the best care.
HEAL is a great place to take your pet. Dr. Landini is very experienced and professional. My dog had an issue with a broken tooth. They managed to work him in to make sure he was OK. I was having some difficulty walking so they helped with my dog. I highly recommend HEAL.
My pups and I are so incredibly lucky to have found Heal! Dr. Landini and his amazing staff (S/O to Ben and Jacqueline and all the vet techs!) always take the best care of our pups, providing us with the tools and knowledge to keep our furry friends healthy. Thank you!
I brought Dea in to get her nails trimmed and the staff was really nice. When I wrote the first review I wanted to give a 5 star review. It only gave a 1 star review. My phone sometimes does some really crazy things. Tomorrow I will call the hospital and let them know.
Found this place online and decided to take my bunny to be neutered there based on the good reviews. The doctor, staff and service were great! Albert was sent home with appropriate pain medication to ensure safe and comfortable recovery Thank you guys …
The petient loves the place...so much that I sometimes feel that she was faking it at home. The folks here take good care of the petients and their care takers. If only I could find a human medical practice like this...I might be as excited about a doctor's visit.
They are incredibly accommodating for my reactive dog. They clear out the lobby when we arrive so he doesn’t have to see other animals. On several occasions, they’ve allowed us to schedule appointments before they even open in the morning. They’re fantastic
Don’t let my review bias you. Seriously, these guys love animals and people too. I met the owner the other night, super nice and funny. They are the ones that gave themselves the five stars. I love the way everyone is so good to the four legged guests.
The doctors are all professionzl and very knowledgeable. They diagnosis quickly and efficiently. They always take there time to explain the diagnosis. All employees are friendly & very helpful. I recommend Heal for all your animals medical needs.
I don’t usually leave such low reviews, but I had a terrible experience. The front desk in particular was incompetent and rude. I was put on hold for ten minutes while the person I was speaking to went to check if they had a certain food my
Basically if you don’t look like you make a lot of money they don’t care about your business. They talk to you like your a waste of their time and have an attitude every time. You’d be better off going to a smaller family vet business that
We visited the clinic a week ago. The turtle I keep was due for a check-up and besides has not been eating very much. She's lost weight. Dr. Landini knew just what to do and made recommendations. The turtle seemed to respond positively to
Took our new puppies and they were treated like royalty. Very education when they teach you what they are doing and how to care for specific breeds. I would recommend to anyone the high level of customer service experience in Heal.
The staff are awesome and the office is very nice. They offer both cost effective and 'full service' options for those who may not want to do every single test possible. The transparency in what options are is greatly appreciated.
my experience at Heal Veterinary is always very positive. I am so greatful to all the staff who from the moment you enter feel welcome and cared for. I am so greatful for the vet who made time to see Bunno I am beyond grateful.
Heal has always been great - very kind and polite staff and vets and very helpful in explaining our dog’s health. During COVID we’ve had to wait for 15-30 mins after our appointment time to get in sometimes, but nothing crazy.
Very good experience at our first visit with our new puppy. This is the first time my partner and I are raising a puppy, and we learned a lot, got answers to all of our questions, and our little guy had a fun time as well!
Dr. Henry has been great so far. She provides the most thorough exam I've seen. The reason to drop a star is the wait time. I'd say 3/4 times I have been, I sat in the waiting room for 20+ minutes past my appointment time.
High quality Veterinary services. Knowledgeable, kind, friendly staff. Not cheap (you pay for quality). AAHA Certified. Parking can be tricky during busy times, but usually can find a free spot within a block or so.
The people over at Heal were so incredible kind, patient, and amazing with our new puppy. They’re our go-to to make sure our pup is in good health and getting the care she needs. I couldn’t recommend them enough!
Love love love! The entire staff & the vets go above standard care. I appreciate that they actually follow up from visits & explain things so well. I don't live in area but refuse to take my 2 dogs anywhere else
Everyone at Heal is kind and professional. They have taken extremely good care of our 2 dogs. I had to take 1 of our dogs there after he was bitten at the park and they saw him right away and got him fixed up.
Excellent customer service. They really care about the whole pet not just the complaint. Through three dogs and a bird I've never had a bad experience. They even call afterwards to see how your pet's doing.
Our cat had an eye discharge, and was treated by Dr. Rasmussen. Very polite, thorough, and professional. First time visit gives you a reasonable discount. Cat felt very comfortable in this environment, too.

Heal Veterinary Clinic is a smoothly-run operation that is focused on the needs of their pet patients and pet owners. Communication is clear and caring, but efficient. The rooms are sparkling clean.
I love bringing my dog here. We typically see Dr. Lee and I appreciate how much he remembers/cares. Only complaint would be the rates, but that’s the case with a lot of good vets in my experience.
Dr. Landini and his team are the best. They take care of all their furry patients with great love and attention. Our dog Mac was a patient of theirs for 10 years and I can't recommend them enough!
They're so gentle and sweet with my kitty and they give her lots of pets and sweet talk. Tallulah is as chill as a cat can be at the vet's, I think because she trusts them and loves the attention.
The staff is amazing. My puppy has been coming here for about a month and they are patient, friendly, and loving. Amazing pet & pet parent bedside manner, thrilled with all my interactions so far.
Very understanding very professional talk to you in a way you can understand everything that is being done Hands-On with x-rays and other things very good group of people very nice
Heal Veterinary care for my pup with ultimate compassion and enpathy. They also worked me in ensuring my full comprehension of the care and costs along the way. Hats off to them.
We've been taking our dogs to Heal for years. They are always courteous, prompt, informative, and compassionate. Dr. Landini and the rest of the staff are literally life savers.
The vet tech was so sweet to my Zelda and really helped make her feel more comfortable. Once the vet came in, he was efficient, welcoming, and made it a quick and easy visit!
Thankful that Heal and Dr. L were able to take us in almost immediately on a Saturday morning when my dog was having GI issues. They were quick, professional and caring.
Wonderful neighborhood animal hospital. Everyone is caring and very professional. My pup’s exam was thorough and her vet took considerable time explaining everything.
I've always taken my dogs to Heal. Dr. Landini is the best! Recently my dog had a deep dental cleaning and they took such good care of my fur baby. Highly recommend!
The veterinarians and staff members are very caring and professional, and I feel that my cats are being given very comprehensive, compassionate care. Thank you!
