I should be giving zero stars, I was afraid to post any bad review but now, I realize people in this society can kill your pet, because they are told to or they feel like it. The being afraid part isn't anything new to me. There are some people who don't have civil or human rights in our society, like I've never had, not ever, as a child either. I fear retaliation but I'm going to post this anyway, I am not going to go into detail but they stole my cats hair and lied about it, also said I couldn't be in the room while they saw my cat, which was very ill. After the visit I called them back to see if I could get a higher dosage and another kind of prescription, they took their time calling me back. Hours. I got upset and said some things out of anger. When you have a job like this and a cat with not two but more kinds of illness, I noticed they do not care at all. Not the the receptionists, or the woman who saw my cat. They care more about themselves then my pet, or they only treated me a certain way, either way, I'm never going to have another pet, to avoid people who feel entitled to do whatever they feel like, they also didn't offer any alternative in treatment and there are many options. These people literally needed my cat to die, like they were sacrificing her. When my cat went in to be seen, there was some girl who came out, twisting her hair. She was acting so weird. I didn't think anything about it then until i saw she was missing hair and they had no reason to do it. I'm convinced this isn't the first time they have done this. They lied to me or made up new rules regarding going in with my pet and I'm sure they do this to other vulnerable people and pets. I actually don't have the luxury of ever complaining about people like this, because people in our society have been selfish to me in many ways. I was told not to complain for my safety while typing this. This happened last year and is connected to a more serious issue with organized crime in NY ands basically, internationally regarding my situation. Have a nice day, being predjudice helping people who gain from harm. This was mid last year after having to leave my job because of harassment connected to the same group of people! I hesitated the entire time because I've been harassed non-stop since being a minor and i am not a person who has civil or human rights ever in my life. It must be hilarious!
I would avoid this clinic. I took in my cat for vomiting, and the veterinarian prescribed a special diet as well as medication for pain management. When I was checking out, I was informed that they had run out of the pain medication and that a pharmacy that they work with would contact me shortly and get me the medicine the next day. The pharmacy never contacted me, and I had to take time out of my work to follow up with the clinic on three separate occasions. They kept telling me the pharmacy would call me and the medicine would come, but it never did. On the third occasion I was finally able to reach the pharmacy, and was informed that maybe I could get the medicine at 11pm and that it was 100$ extra. The staff at Heart of Brooklyn did not disclose this extra cost, since I had already paid for pain medication dispensed at the clinic. It wouldn't be a problem, but I expect clear communication with my care team, especially at this price. At this point, my cat was doing a lot better and no longer needed the pain medication. She was in pain for two days because Heart of Brooklyn did not have their medication stocked and did not follow up with the pharmacy. When you are paying $600 for a treatment, you expect to be treated well. I shouldn't have to follow up and hound the front desk staff for medication when I have paid that much. This is definitely not a clinic for busy professionals who do not have time to play secretary with the front desk staff. When I spoke to the clinic manager, I was horrified at her lack of professionalism. It made me wonder whether this person had any kind of professional training at all, since she did not know how to handle the situation and proceeded to argue with me instead of acknowledging the clinic could have done a better job. I told her that, unless I received some kind of gesture as a professional courtesy to apologize for this serious oversight, I would not be coming back and they would lose a patient. She responded: "that's fine." I wonder if the owner of the clinic thinks that "it's fine." My guess is probably not. Avoid this clinic. At this price point you can get more professional service elsewhere. No complaints about the medical treatment. Dr. Pingle had a solid care plan for my cat.
This vet is great. I wish they took humans so I could go here myself, haha. But I do take my dog Smudge here, and while I will admit it's a bit more expensive than other vets, the quality of care here is incredible. Dr. Koos is kind, the staff is very warm and attentive, and they practice "fear-free" care here to make visits as comfortable as possible. Every time I'm here, they follow up with texts and calls - not just the next day but a week and two weeks later, too, asking how specific symptoms are doing. An example of why I love this vet - I brought my dog for a second visit when she had a cough. Dr. Koos sits down on the floor next to her and pets her and gently introduces himself. Also, over the summer, I was out of the city - camping - and needed urgent medication for her as she was with me. I couldn't find an open local vet, so I called Heart of Brooklyn. I was 5 hours outside of the city, in a small town, and I called and explained my situation. The front desk staff helped me - knowing my signal was limited, they even took down alternate phone numbers for me - and Dr. Koos called me. He even had the medication sent to a local CVS (who knew you could do that!). All in less than 12 hours, knowing I was in the middle of nowhere. If you're strapped for cash or on a really limited budget, I will say the costs are a little higher. (I've paid about 2x as much for the same medicine as other places - $80 for an antibiotic for 10 days versus $40 elsewhere as of 2022.) That being said, the attentiveness and investment of the staff is totally priceless, especially if you have a concern that you feel may be overlooked elsewhere.
Overall we were satisfied and happy with our experience. Dr. Ward was attentive to our questions as new puppy owners and overall the process was great. As many of the other comments state, they are expensive, but convenience for us is king and there are few walkable options near where we live. Our biggest piece of feedback for Heart of Brooklyn is that we were given ear wash for puppy’s ear debris that ended up costing $55, and we had no idea of the price tag and later found the same for a product on Amazon for $26, so that part was a bit annoying. We would have appreciated more transparency on costs up front, but I learned a lesson to ask more questions and be proactive there. Though this was our fault for not requiring an itemized bill before we paid. More transparency there would make this a 5 star experience. Covid made this a bit more difficult since we conducted the exam over the phone while waiting outside (but you can tell they’re really trying their best in these weird times). That said, they did hook us up with a free month of heart worm prevention and Flea/Tick prevention medication, so that was appreciated. Attaching our itemized bill to help other new puppy owners know what to expect out of a new puppy exam.
Dr. Farmer has been my primary veterinarian for over a year. I couldn't be more satisfied. The care is top-notch; Heart of Brooklyn feels like a small-town operation, where the animals are cared for like true members of the family and the vets take real time to make sure you understand their analysis. Dr. Farmer has seen my cat through two serious health issues, one which involved a very invasive surgery. In both instances, he and his team walked me through every single option and explained extensively in layman's terms what was going on medically with my cat. Dr. Farmer was conservative in his treatment plan, only performing necessary procedures and going day by day to ensure my cat (and my bank account) wasn't going though unnecessary turmoil. I truly know that Dr. Farmer loves and cares for my kitty. I trust his judgement, and he is patient, thoughtful, and caring. The emotional support he offers during the difficult times is not to be understated, either. It's refreshing to have a vet who will take the time to call you during his busy day, after hours, and days off to do his due diligence and offer his wise insight and counsel. I would recommend Heart of Brooklyn without hesitation.
We were looking forward to HOB being our lifelong vet for both our cat and our dog, as were only a five minute walk away, but we are definitely not returning here ever again after three negative experiences with the team. First off, everyone from the receptionists to the vet themselves seem extremely uninterested in you are your pet, and hurry to rush you out of the door as soon as you arrive. Second, the vets and vet techs are not knowledgeable - we saw Dr. Pingle during our very first visit with our four month old puppy, and she told us that our dog's different- colored nails were a sign of calcium deficiency. We now know from speaking with three other vets that the discoloration is just a normal trait for our dog, who also has spotted multi-colored fur to match. Lastly, they never spend as much time or provide as much information for our pets as our now vet, Bond Vets, does. They do the bare minimum check up, write down the minimum amount of notes, and again, push you out as soon as possible. They also seem annoyed when you try to ask follow up questions. It truly pains me to write this, but HOB is a terrible vet's office with dispassionate employees.
I take both my 5 year old cat and my new kitten to see Dr. Farmer for all of their checkups and issues. He's definitely the best vet I've been to for several reasons. First, he treats your pet like the patient, not you! He spends a lot of time gaining their trust and making them comfortable. I've never seen animals so calm at the vet. Secondly, he explains everything to you in detail and is very transparent. This goes for both conditions and costs. Thirdly, he is thorough. He doesn't just assume that treatments are working, but does the tests to make sure and give you peace of mind. Lastly, everyone there is very kind, calm and respectful! The office is organized and clean and it's just a really nice change from hectic vets I've been to in the past. I highly recommend Heart of Brooklyn!
My dogs have been patients of Dr. Farmer for a long time. But my favorite thing about this clinic is that EVERYONE on staff is incredible. They seem to genuinely love animals. They are so good to my dogs. And they are GREAT at tolerating two very obsessed pet-parents. My husband and I go together and this time we brought both of our dogs. They dolled out treats for our anxious dog and tossed a few to her relaxed "support animal" looking on. They make notes about the animals to anticipate their behavior. Our appointment was on a Saturday and they checked in with us on SUNDAY! Sent very thorough information with the diagnose and a lot of help with what to expect moving forward. After visiting a lot of vets in the area, I can't recommend Heart of Brooklyn enough.
Everyone at Heart of Brooklyn has been so amazing! Our dog has been very sick, to the point of hospitalization. At this point we’ve been advised and spoken with almost every vet there. Throughout the whole process they explained all the tests and treatments, pointing out what must be done and what was optional. They’ve been very responsive to all of my emails with various questions and concerns and have checked in to make sure Tucker was on the road to recovery. Additionally, they’ve been so great about fitting Tucker in immediately (i.e. within an hour) for fluids, xrays etc. throughout his illness. While it’s true that some things can be pricey (addressing other reviewers points), I think it’s worth it for the care you are getting.
I’m from LA and im in here in Brooklyn for a while, found this place on google maps. It’s Super clean, very experienced and professional staff - the vet took her time to explain my puppies diet, her unique anatomy, the general concerns, health needs and took her time listening to my concerns and was over all very attentive, caring and resourceful - everything you want in a vet basically. They were great with handling my puppy very gentle. The exam room is well equipped, clean and everything we discuss is written on a white board for clarity and I appreciate that very much. This place is great, and I’ve been to a few vets in LA that I thought were pretty good until I came here. 100% would recommend
Dr. Ward has been super helpful and attentive for the past year with our new pup! Extremely patient given the amount of questions she receives from us as well. In addition, the entire staff is friendly and willing to help over the phone, whether it be with scheduling or insurance questions. They make scheduling appointments less stressful with reminders to ensure you’re up to date and even send follow up emails checking in our pup after vaccines & appointments. We’ve also always gotten a price breakdown prior to paying with different options depending on treatment. They’ve been upfront with costs and submit our claims to insurance after each appointment.
I had to put my beloved cat down but her regular vet has been stuck in FL since the pandemic started. I went to Heart of Brooklyn and they were so compassionate and professional. I want to especially thank Michelle and Dr. Madacsi who helped me through it all. I was a mess and they went above and beyond to help. The staff I met with the day I picked up my cat’s ashes were also so compassionate and went above and beyond to follow social distancing but also letting me know they understood how I felt. Lastly they made a beautiful paw print impression of my cat’s paw free of charge. That really touched my heart. I would highly recommend this vet office.
Adopted my first pup about 1 month ago, and have visited 3 times since, once for general exam and twice for urgent care. Astrid was limping for a day, and then had a stomach issue, and in all 3 visits the service was excellent. They went out of their way to find the earliest availability in the urgent instances, and called me when they had a cancellation. The vets and their technicians were all very clear in explaining things, and extremely kind with me and my pup. I really can't recommend them more. I've visited this location twice, and the Flatbush location as well. Great care, great staff (Dr. Pingle and Florencia in particular!), recommend.
The vet and staff here are friendly, but this is not a good vet. They are over reliant on expensive tests instead of reasonable and measured treatment. If you don't care about money or getting to a quick and reasonable result, this place is totally acceptable. If you are looking for an experienced vet that you can rely on for reasonable and measured treatment of your pet, this is not the place. Everytime I come here I am struck by the menu of tests and the expense. My last vet relied on his experience, the animals history, and it's symptoms to guide treatment much more effectively. Go somewhere else.
Two times my dog needed attention for an acute problem. Both times HOB was the only place that got me in to see the vet almost immediately. The staff is friendly as well as the vets. I don't have insurance so the costs escalate quickly but they are willing to talk about what needs to be done. I never feel like I 'have' to get all the tests, it's up to me (with their advice). The DR who helped me also has been very good about follow up emails. I forgot a question while I was there and she has been very thorough in answering it in multiple responses. Thank you
Bill Farmer the owner and veterinarian in this establishment convinced me that I should spend $1,000+ on X-rays because my cat had an upset stomach. The only reason I went through with it was because I was traveling and didn’t want to take any chances but it was completely unnecessary.. my cat was was not showing any signs of blockage or any other reason to be concerned other than the fact that I needed to switch his food. I would rather take my cat to my wife’s gynecologist then deal with him again. However, Dr. Pingle and Justina were great.
Scam. They suggest services that sound good and once you agree they switch up on you. I advise you to not go to this vet place. They seen my dog one time and i paid $40 for the visit and $80 for the vaccination shots for my dog. After this visit they kept charging me $85 dollars for visits and shots that my dog has never had and the staff is rude and disrespectful. All this place cares about is money and not the well being of tje pet. Again i advise that you not tale any of your pets here, they are a scam and they do not care.
Heart of Brooklyn was not my dog's primary veterinarian, but I will be taking my future pets to them because of the gracious care they showed Henry in his final hour. I am blown away by the thoughtful manner the staff and Dr. Farmer treated my animal and myself during our most difficult time. They even sent me a handwritten condolence card and his paw imprint in a clay medallion, which was a welcome surprise while grieving. I cannot recommend them enough and I would give more than 5 stars if I could.
It can be hard to trust a new vet with your beloved animal but Heart of Brooklyn was in such a convenient location compared to our old vet that we decided to check it out. And we are so happy we did!! Our dog, Leo, can be really jumpy at the vets office but after a couple visits he doesn't mind his check ups at all. They are personal and kind and even help us our by sending monthly reminders for his heartworm medication. We are so lucky they came to Fort Greene. Couldn't recommend highly enough!
As a first time cat person, I was referred by another animal clinic. I now understand why. The staff took the time and energy to answer all my questions and concerns. The vet was excellent and his bedside manner was kind and caring. Who knew animal care was like this . The price was comfortable and they even gave Mr.Handsome a comp nail clip. My cat even received a follow up text. I scheduled further vet care because the service was prompt and easy. Delighted! Look's like he has a vet.
The worst vet I’ve even been to I just moved to the area so I wanted to try a vet near Clinton Hill. But unfortunately I will be returning to my previous vet. The nurse at Heart of Brooklyn Vet manhandled my cat, didn’t listen to all my concerns (the doctor was better about it), and left with no clarity on my cats condition. Aren’t vets supposed to be more compassionate and competent?? Truly the worst service I feel so bad for my cat. Please don’t bring your furry friends here.
My small 14 year old dog had a bad tooth abscess and poor teeth in general so Dr. Farmer suggested that her teeth all be removed. The procedure sounded worse than it actually turned out to be, thankfully. The whole operation, even with anesthesia and IV, went smoothly and she was home eating and walking by 7pm. She's doing really well now and it's good to know her chronic tooth pain is gone. The staff at Heart of Brooklyn and Dr. Bill Farmer are all excellent and kind. They do great work.
They were so patient and kind. I came alone with my two kids and very sick dog in tow and was overwhelmed to say the least. They let us all come into the exam room and even gave the baby a toy to play with while my dog was checked out. Not to mention they how sweet and gentle they were with my dog during his exam. The doctor even followed up with me the next day to see how he was doing and recommend some supplements. So so happy to have found my little old guy the care he deserves.
My cats are always in the safest hands at Heart of Brooklyn. My cat has a chronic respiratory condition requiring me to bring her to the vet often. We've seen multiple veterinarians in the practice, and everyone has been so kind, knowledgeable, and caring. I really trust them to provide my cats with the best care possible! They always explain everything comprehensively and in easily-digestible language. I am so thankful for all they've done for my cats! Thank you!!
We love Dr.Farmer and the whole staff at Heart Of Brooklyn Vet. They are all so loving, caring and patient with both of our pups. One of our pups has been diagnosed with MegaE and they have gone above and beyond to make sure we were educated as well as every being comfortable with her new lifestyle. We highly recommend them for any fur baby or one especially one with special needs. They truly love and care about every animal that comes in. The way it should be =)
Heart Of Brooklyn is the most compassionate, professional veterinary experience I've ever had. They are responsive, understanding, and completely non-judgmental of any questions, decisions, or treatment plans you make for your beloved furry friends. I've had the pleasure of working with Dr. Pingle and Dr. Ward and can't recommend them enough.Thank you! EDIT: 2 1/2 years later, this has still been the best veterinary experience I have had. Thank you HOB team!
I have been to many vets now that I am an older, meaning had different animals and I have also moved a lot. This was the worst experience, your pet will get proper care in the end and after they instill fear in you and extract all your monthly income. I also found them to not be organized or nice. Nice designed office if that is what you want but beyond that there are many better options, and the word in the dog park is I am not alone in my feelings
We met Dr. Farmer about a year ago when he was at another clinic. We are SO excited that he now has his own practice. We were very grateful for the way he helped guide us in the care of our very old dogs in their final months. Dr. Farmer and his staff are always very patient, helpful and extremely welcoming, I am so happy to have found a vet that we trust to give the absolute best care to our two pups (one recently adopted and another older girl).
These were the best vets I've ever worked with. Having a sick pet is the worst and every member of the staff was so kind and compassionate to us and our cat. They gave us all the information we needed to choose the best option for us. It was very hard and emotional and they were still so kind and compassionate. So much love for the animals and also so good to the humans. I'm very grateful we found them.
Heart of Brooklyn, Dr. Farmer, and the amazing staff including Teresa and vet techs, take unbelievable care of our (expanding) fur family. They're always available and super responsive. The office is right down the street and Piper won't walk by without stopping in for some love and attention. I couldn't be happier with the excellent care and devotion from a truly neighborhood vet!
I had the best experience with HoB. Everyone was very friendly and setting up an appointment was easy. I just adopted a dog and got a number of vaccines and tests. They patiently walked through all of the options and helped me decide which vaccines and tests were the best to do now and I didn't felt like I was being sold anything we didn't need. Great experience!
My good experience started when I called to make an appointment and the person was so kind and funny. During the appointment with my much loved cat everyone was kind and considerate. Most importantly they treated him gently but assuredly. The communication about his diagnosis and treatment has been very clear and concise. I really couldn't be more grateful.
I recently brought my new puppy, Chickpea, to Heart of Brooklyn Fort Greene and I was so impressed with the care and kindness of the staff and doctors. As a new puppy owner, there is a lot I don't know, and the doctor stayed to answer my questions so thoroughly and with so much patience and understanding. I am so relieved my puppy is in the best hands here!
I needed to get my dog in for a same day appointment last minute. I called Heart of Brooklyn and Daniel was so helpful over the phone. His location didn’t have any same day appointments but he was able to schedule me at their other location. The staff and doctor were very professional and helped my dog. This is where we will be coming from now on! 5 stars!
As the owners of a rescue dog that was seriously neglected before our time, we can't say enough good things about Dr. Farmer and his entire staff. Throughout her recovery they have been incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and explain (in detail) why they recommend (or don't recommend) certain procedures for our beloved pup. We're big fans. Speck is, too.
We love Heart of Brooklyn VH! The staff is always patient, attentive, caring, thorough and friendly! My dog has lots of anxiety when she goes to the vet and the vets and vet techs always ensure she feels safe and comfortable the entire time. They clearly love all their clients and are extremely knowledgeable about pet health care!!
Great staff, they taken great care of my dog when we're there. Most importantly, they inform you skit everything when it comes to procedure which helps you understand what's going on with your pet, that also helps to understand the costs which they break down for you. One of the best experiences we've had at a pet clinic. Kudos.
Very very nice vet! Our cat Taco was very at ease, the vet assistant let her out of her carrier and let her explore the room so she would not be nervous. Vet was very friendly. Examined Taco and discussed treatment options with us. They do offer an annual membership type of deal that gives you a discount on exams and such.
I love HOB! Dr Pingle is so wonderful and always puts me at ease when I come in with my senior dog rusty. She is extremely patient and takes the time to answer all my questions. The rest of the staff is great too, and communicating about appointments and medication is super easy via text/email. Highly recommend this vet!
We came here from a transfer from a VCA hospital. I have to say that the medical staff here, showing what it means professional, responsible, and love for pets. They really get worried when the pet is sick. Relieved and happy that the pet is getting better. I think this is the real love for pets. Strongly recommend here.
We brought our cat here recently for an annual check up and not only were they significantly more expensive compared to our last vet, they sent us the results for a different animal rather than our cat. Aside from this they were very efficient with the appointment and we didn’t have to spend a lot of time there.
Our 60-pound Aussie shepherd mix recently had some digestion issues, and we took him to Heart of Brooklyn for the first time. The staff were responsive, and we really appreciated that they followed up in detail, via email, after the visit and answered all of our questions. Glad to have them in the neighborhood!
Excellent veterinarians but poor experience with management. Unsafe transactions asking for the credit card number over the phone repeatedly and then threatening to cancel the appointment unless we provide a bank statement to prove we were already charged. After years with them, sad to say I am switching vets.
Dr. Farmer and his staff are great at what they do! They're knowledgeable, patient and kind. We had a dog emergency a few weekends ago and Dr. Farmer squeezed us in and was able to diagnose and come up with a treatment plan for our Yorkie, Bleu, immediately. We are so glad to have Dr. Farmer as our vet!
Dr. Pingle and all of the vet techs here were so warm and friendly. My cat can be a bit difficult at times but she calmed down quite quickly (even seemed to be making friends for a minute there). I felt like my girl was in good hands. I'm very happy to have found a reliable, trustworthy vet in the area.
truly impressed with their customer service! I didn't even need to come in to the clinic. I sent an email question about my cat and requesting an appt. They got back to me with the vet's advice and didn't even make me come in. It's hard to find service like that and it brings peace of mind.
Our vet was packed and couldn’t see us for a week plus. There best suggestion was referring us to an emergency vet. We called heart of Brooklyn and they got us a spot the next day. Everyone was so nice and organized. We are super grateful and will be changing vets to Heart oF Brooklyn ❤️
Dr. Gueli and her team went above and beyond to get my tempermental, elderly cat seen and cared for. She and Dr. Higgens sent comprehensive and detailed emails about care and treatment, and the whole office put me at ease during a stressful situation. This is a gem of a vet practice.
Heart of Brooklyn gave my London the best care! The vet spent a lot of time strategizing her care approach, gave me short and long-term options for optimizing her health and well-being, and was clearly communicative with me about all options. I’m grateful this is my new vet!
I took my recently adopted dog here and they made her feel so comfortable and explained everything to me so clearly. I was very overwhelmed but they made me feel at ease and explained the best care/medications for her! Would recommend over and over again they are the BEST!
Dr.Koo and Imani was amazing and so sweet towards my fur baby !! This was Bree’s first time at this vet since he’s only 5 months and they treated him with care and was patient and informative! They even gave free samples of flea and tick medicine and trimmed his nails !!!
We feel very fortunate to have Dr. Bill as our vet. As first time dog owners he was able to point out so many issues and provide tips that we would have never thought of or picked up from general research. He has helped keep Louie healthy and for that we are grateful.
Dr. Pingle took time to speak with me and ease my concerns about my senior dog, who is consistently in between states and veterinarians for an emergency appointment. My dog came out extremely happy for the first time in 11 years from a veterinarian appointment!
My Diva got excellent care here...the staff is wonderful and caring... Diva loves coming here and loves Dr. Woods and Dr. Ward. She can't wait to see everyone and she likes the liver treats. Very happy with the entire staff and will continue to bring Diva here.
HOBK flatbush location has been great. The staff is friendly, helpful and responsive and the Vets are professional and informative. I always leave with a good understanding of my pet’s health, the treatment plan and cost breakdown. Highly recommend.
i love this vet, esp dr madasci but the prices are high. routine feline wellness visit $479. it hurts my heart. ++ the staff is exceptionally responsive and sincere — even with Google review — i trust this vet and the care provided for my baby.
My dog was treated with empathy, love and compassion. he was in pain and the staff was gentle with him. A couple of days later, he is greatly improved giving me confidence that the diagnosis was correct and we are on the path to healing!
Full marks for the care they take with their patients. I brought my very anxious dog to them and they took great pains to make her visit as comfortable for her as possible while doing the exam. Staff is all very friendly and helpful.
Excited to have them as our new vet after our previous one closed. Dr. Farmer and his staff are so friendly and patient... best of all, they taught us how to maintain our cat's oral hygiene to keep her healthy for the long run!
The staff at the flatbush location are EXTREMELY professional and welcoming. They treated my little baby (dog) like royalty. The doctor took her time with us and answered all of my questions. My dog is definitely in safe hands!
They took excellent care of our dogs while we were living in Brooklyn temporarily. They provided great feedback and care instructions and were extremely pleasant to deal with the entire time. I highly recommend!
I do not recommend this vet. They’re more about money and misinforming their clients on unnecessary tests then giving them genuine advice on caring for their pets. Come to this vet at your own discretion.
Dr. McFadden is incredible. She is so knowledgeable and patient. We would not take our little pup anywhere else. The entire staff are wonderful. Above and beyond kind of care for your fur family members.
Excellent service, doctors and technicians are very professional and empathetic, very gentle with my dog, they take time to explain everything. I feel very safe taking my dog here.
My pet had a minor emergency (not emergency hospital level) and they pushed us away. We've spent thousands at this place and thought we had a good relationship with them.
Took our dog to Dr. Koos today. I really appreciated his (and his staff’s) bedside manner. He was also thorough and thoughtful in his advice.
Very responsive, professional, kind. Very considerate of my anxious rescue and have an entire methodology around treating dogs with anxiety.
Exceptional vet experience from start to finish. Dr. Ward's team exceeded expectations providing loving care to my normally anxious pup!
We love Heart of BK. They’re so good with my pup! Really hope they stick around for a long time. Flatbush pets need them.
