Arguably the best Chinese I've eaten in years, pork belly in chilli was amazing, there was also a duck in vermicelli that was so tender and flavourful, and the dumplings were clearly made in house. Service was a little less attentive than I'd expect, and the atmosphere was a little flat but that may well have been just because we were likely the first customers for the evening, but without question I will be back

Rang Hejo's about 9-15 pm Wednesday night . On our Honeymoon and arrived around 9-30 .Waited a few extra minutes . But went back to Motel Room to eat Meal .FIVE STARS OUT OF FIVE .WE live in Melbourne home now but will recomend to Any one going to Hobart .Great Food guys . Ordered bubble tea. Place smelled like mould. Should have left immediately, but proceeded. Waited 15 minutes, the girl boiled a kettle, poured hot water into plastic cups, added flavouring, jellies and milk. Had to seal cups twice due to improper use of machine. Handed over the most disgusting, tepid, curdled drinks ever. I was too shocked to ask for a refund, they went in the nearest bin. $11 wasted. Never again will i go into this filthy den.

Bad taste experience . The Dry pot chicken was too spicy and salty and The dry fried beef and rice roodle was salty as well, The rice looks not fresh, though I forgot take photo, just noticed hope getting improve.

Disgusting food, was recommended by the google reviews but very disappointed after having the meal here; Pork belly stew has no full pieces pork, basically just mince; Tiger Prawn are so salty and very small serve. We four people ordered 5 dishes and were still starving after finished the meal there. Sticky tables and not fresh ingredients. Anyway, horrible experiences and strongly not recommended this restaurant!

Food was amazing. We loved everything that we ordered. Scallops were very fresh and delicious. Broccoli was very tasty. We were very surprised had a chance to taste Egypt sea urchin in TAS and those sea urchin were very creamy and sweet. Great Job

Magic little restaurant Had a great experience with a fantastic 3 course meal Scallops melted in the mouth and the chilli prawns were big and juicy Went with the Cod Special at waitress' suggestion - lovely then finished off with a great chocolate pudding with ice cream Waiting staff were very attentive and added to the experience. I came here quiet late at night. They where doing take away only. I ordered wonton and satay chicken spicy, and rice. Wonton where ok seems like a lot of msg. The satay chicken was not your traditional Chinese satay, it was quiet nice I enjoyed it a lot, only down fall was some parts of the chicken was dry, the rice was old and burnt.

Had takeaway hokkien mee, combination and prawn fried rice. The fried rices were oddly similar - to ingredients and taste. The prawn fried rice consisted of disappointing little shrimps that added no flavour to the incredible oily fried rice. Very little value for money - as the small container couldn't even be filled to the top. Best to stay away.

Fantastic food. Mouth watering flavours and food. The honey soy chicken and sweet and sour Pork was particularly exceptional. The owner Tony was very welcoming and a lovely man to chat too, sharing travel ideas with his customers.

Ordered home delivery, which was quick. Sadly that was the only good thing i had from that place. Hokkien noodles far from value for money and not to mention undercooked. Rice was cold and the pork dish was full of raw onion that even the whole chillies in it didn't make a difference.

Fantastic food with amazing service. I highly recommend Hejo’s Chinese Restaurant to anyone in the city looking for a place to eat. The sliced beef with black pepper is fresh and delicious.

I really like seafood so I tried to find a good place which is good at seafood dishes in Hobart. This restaurant is really good, and the dishes of it is really yummy. The staffs in this restaurant are friendly and the design is good. I will come back again.

Luckily, I chanced upon a Chinese restaurant and I managed to have the best Chinese meal I had since leaving China. The restaurant looks very nice and the food in this restaurant is especially good!!! 何邹餐厅的生生蚝超新鲜，螃蟹肉也很鲜，挺适合我的口味，感觉好像每道都挺好吃的，价格很公道，老板人超好！

Variety of options from basic fried rice to seafood and meat dishes. A nice place for decent Chinese cuisine. Some dishes are a bit salty for me. Overall the food are great.

I have to say that Hejo’ Chinese restaurant is the best Chinese restaurant in Hobart, their vegetable and seafood are totally fresh, which makes their food tastes great. It was an amazing experience to have dinner there.

This place has apparently been around for 7 years and I can see why. My partner and I had two of the sweet and sour dishes. One word, wow. Give this place a try and we will see you there because we will be back.

Good service but bad food... Greasy, overpriced. We were the only diners. They sell products from a fridge just inside the front door to other Chinese looks like they focus on that rather than the restaurant
