I have been renting trucks for many years. I have continued to rent from Hertz for all these years mainly because of Phil who is the customer service agent at the location. Phil is an excellent customer service rep. who knows all the customers by name, and very helpful, and pleasant to work with. There are several car rental places closer to my home, but I take the time to travel the distance to give Phil's location my business. I don't believe that I would still be renting from Hertz today if it was not for Phil. Other car/truck rental places such as Alliance, Budget, Discount have all tried to get my business in the past, but I find the customer service provided by Phil to be the best in my opinion.- E. I am a local mover who has rented trucks from Hertz for over 15 years and the main reason I keep going back is the personalized service that I get from Phil and his team. These guys have taken the stress out of booking vehicles because I know that without question, my truck will be ready and waiting for the days that I’ve booked. On last minute jobs Phil has always been the one to step up and find a vehicle suitable to my needs, even in the busiest of times. Phil is a total rockstar and I can’t thank him enough for the hard work and dedication he puts forth day to day! Thanks Phil.... someone give this man a raise!

Our company, Greenco Renovations Inc, rents from the Hertz truck center on Newmarket very regularly for commercial use. They always have what we need and do their best to provide the best rate available in city. Omar, the customer service rep, and the entire team, go above and beyond regular "customer satisfaction" to ensure we always leave fully taken care of.

Phil and Godfrey saved us. Our reservation for a truck with another company fell through, and with a night-before notice they were able to find one for us! The truck was great,too. They were a bright spot in the otherwise nightmarish hellscape that was our move. What's more, they went out of their way to help everybody there! Awesome consistency. Thanks guys!

Despite allowing online reservations to be made, this location did not have any available vehicles. They also did not call or email ahead to let us know of the situation after our reservation was confirmed. We paid for a cab there only to find out we had wasted our time and money, and had to cab home. Will be avoiding this company from now on.

Make sure that what goes into the invoice is the same as what you agreed to. Make sure the final charge on your credit card is correct, they over charged me like 6 bucks and when I called, they guy told me I'm CHEAP person to call for that discrepancy. They finally refunded, after I talked to the manager, who is helpful.

Zero stars if I could, nothing but a bunch of scammers. Clearly along with the other reviews - it’s happened to a bunch of people. Charged my credit card multiple times of 3500 of charges due to damages that were already there. Must be nice to scam hard working people out of their hard earned money. See you in court

Quick service, got the car type I had reserved and everyone I dealt with were very friendly and got us on our way quickly. There was an issue with the toll amount, but Godfrey took care of it very quickly and was very polite about it. Will definitely be booking with these folks next time we're in town. Thank you.

Customer service at their shop is good but our rental truck died and there is no Canadian roadside service number, it's all based in the states and we were forced to leave our rental where it died until tomorrow morning. Hopefully we won't have charges for not returning the truck today. Its beyond our control!

these guys really helped me out in a bind had a 12foot box truck available on the 30th of November after getting screwed over by a moving company at 9am. matt and his buddy at the desk hooked it up and put to rest a stressful situation. only issue I have is that I can't put 10 stars thanks again.

Was having the worst luck and called Hertz Newmarket St. for a rental and had the best experience I could ask for. If it weren't for the fella at the counter (Phil?) I never would have been able to get my parents a rental truck to move from their house! Thank you Hertz, Thank you Phil! *****

Good service, and responsible PPE all around (but please fix your sanitizer boxes). The premium car I had ordered was MIA, so they gave me the choice of the lot and I drove off in a much nicer SUV than I paid for. Will be a repeat customer the next time I need a rental.

10 customers waiting in line at 820...no staff yet. Called nearby hertz dealer, sounds like he's always late...just watched 5 customers go elsewhere. Maybe he's not the right "fit".His excuse was that he got pulled over in his fancy car...don't care. Not coming back.

The staff was great and very good environment. It was simple, quick and easy. Just the way I like it. They also were able to save me a couple of bucks which was the cherry on top of the cake. Really appreciate it guys! Great work and keep going!

They were able to accomodate a last minute truck rental. Unit was clean and in good shape. Staff were great. Premisses were clean and organized. Lots of packing boxes and tape and moving neccesities available for purchase.

I have rented cargo vans from this place twice now over the past couple of months. Both experiences were great - the vans were ready on time and the counter service was friendly and efficient. Great work guys.

Rent from them two to 5 days a week for about six months a year. They always seem to find a solution to my last minute requests. A professional group here. Everyone else I talk to agrees .

One guy didn't really seem to know what what was up with daily charges and truck availability, but Phil fixed it up for us when we returned to truck. Great customer service from him.
