"This is one of Hobart's hidden gems"
"Beautiful close to nature Hobart Linear park, lots of people you will see doing there morning walk in the early morning, quiet and peaceful place to enjoy your short walk or running"
"Nice "park" and path to walk along the rivulet on the way to the women's prison"
"A lovely park, just keep in mind it’s a very popular commuting route, runners route and access point for mountain bikers so I can get very busy! Otherwise it’s a lovely park!!!"
"2 kilometres pleasant walk along the banks of the Hobart Rivulet"
This is one of Hobart's hidden gems. Meticulously planned and maintained by Hobart City Council this linear park, which starts at one of my favorite Hobart cafe's, Hamlets on Molle St, runs all the way up to the Cascade Brewery. You get to walk up the steady incline with the Hobart Rivulet on your left-hand side, with a view of Mt Wellington constantly encouraging you on. During winter a snow capped Wellington is a backdrop that is breathtaking. If your really lucky you might catch site of the resident platypus that live in the Rivulet. If your feeling really brave you can go back in the other direction and do the Rivulet tunnel, but that's another story.
Beautiful close to nature Hobart Linear park, lots of people you will see doing there morning walk in the early morning, quiet and peaceful place to enjoy your short walk or running. There are small bench available where you can sit and enjoy your coffee as well. I would recommend this place if you are close to the city
Nice "park" and path to walk along the rivulet on the way to the women's prison. A couple other places to stop along the way as well and either see some memorials, wildlife, or just nature in general.
A lovely park, just keep in mind it’s a very popular commuting route, runners route and access point for mountain bikers so I can get very busy! Otherwise it’s a lovely park!!!
2 kilometres pleasant walk along the banks of the Hobart Rivulet. Leads to the Cascade Gardens, the Cascade Brewery and Cascade Centre for refreshments.
It is a very quiet and calm place to walk around or small hiking
Dog-friendliness
Open spaces, availability of water
Nice to walk along side the small river/stream with the kids. A lot of bicycles speeding around however on the track
Quite well maintained and a great local place for a walk or detour from the road route.
Great track and park, intestine for kids. Feels far safer than the old rivulet track.
What a surprise gem, this city never ceases to amaze me
Peaceful. The stream babbling away. Really lovely.
Beautiful part of Hobart for a leisurely walk.
Bad lighting. Scary peeps Tell me different.
Unexpected in a big town
Loved it
