I had a great trip to Egypt thanks to this company. The Agent Muhammad was personable, patient and efficient. He was available throughout the whole trip for questions and was great at sorting out the itinerary and adjusting for my preference. The booking was effortless and he was quick to respond to any changes or adjustments. I also felt the company was reasonable with their pricing, especially after approaching multiple agencies. It was mid range for my budget. I really appreciated the personal meet and greet by the agent and the guided walks of the Zamalek area on my days book in Cairo. The hotel Golden Tulip was mid range but comfortable and well located. I also appreciated the travel tips given to me by the agent helping me understand tourist traps and good practice with guides and hagglers. The guides chosen for me by the agent were exceptional and they all did a good job especially the guide in Luxor: Tariq who was not only extremely knowledgeable but also very personable and welcoming and patient with my curiosity and 1000 questions about the ancient sites. I also appreciated that they sorted drivers and clean comfortable transport to all sites. The nile cruise booked on the Steigenberger was comfortable and convenient my room was spacious and the 3 meals provided every day were tasty and sufficient. But be aware you will be charged premium for any drinks including water consumed as only food is included in the packages. The staff on the boat were very friendly except the reception staff who were cold and a bit snappy at book in and book out. I am grateful for a great trip, there were little snags here and there like late flights one or two individuals trying to hustle and extra pound or two out of you but all in all it is Africa and you have to go with the flow. I had a few moments that will absolutely stay with me for the rest of my life, like a cold Stella beer on the top deck while the sun sets over the nile or the Luxor Temple at night and the incredible sight of the temple at Edfu. I look forward to visiting Egypt again and I will be sure to use Holiday Tours to coordinate my trip.

A friend of mine recommended this trip, I had my doubts in the beginning but it was so worth it and I am so glad I ended up going. We went hiking for a day. It was really interesting, it was not just simply hiking, we learned about the dessert itself, the people that live in it and around it. Our guide happened to be one of them,a 50 year old legend of the dessert.we went to walk around looking for water ponds along the valley as it had rained a few days ago. We did not find any water, but we found a large amount of vegetation and some new routes and terrain since we were not following a pre planned route. The suspense was entertaining but we didn't really find an Indiana Jones water fall like scene, but instead an exciting and tough terrain to trek with different challenges while watching our legend of the dessert walking besides us effortlessly with barely sandals on his feet compared to us geared head to toe. Our guides consisted of two Egyptian adventurers of different backgrounds sharing a common interest in this dessert, along them were two Bedouin men born and raised in the area. As we got back from a 6 hour trail, they prepared us a grilled chicken feast, an impressive feat of baking bread in the sand while making us a unique brand of ginger coffee made from local coffee beans that they roast and brew right in front of you. Everything we consumed was done in front of us from scratch. We had the choice to watch or continue wandering around exploring or wait for sundown to watch the glowing sky, with a crystal clear view of the milky way.A weekend experience packed with a good dose of entertainment and something I really needed to get out of the city life for a bit. For a good few days it was exciting, relaxing and just simply a breath of fresh air.

We saw the most popular attractions with my family, but we also saw normal life, peace in the Egyptian desert and oasis, we met fantastic people. Holiday Tours organised a 6-days of trekking programme for me in the Sinai mountains. The trip was very well organised from the start to the end with many email exchanges before the tour and frequent contact during the trek itself with Yehia the manager. I arrived without some basic equipment needed for the trek and I could rent all I needed from Holiday Tours. I felt that safety and security was very well taken care of and I received a lot of advice to prepare for the trek. My trekking guide Mousa is from the bedouin community in Sinai, is very experienced and knows the inside-outs of all the treks and paths in the area. Together we altered the route a bit a couple of days into the trek based on whether we wanted more or less excitement. Staying with bedouin families was a unique experiences allowing a glimpse into their rich culture and life. Mousa, Yehia and his team made this trek very special and I hope I have the chance to return to the Sinai mountains in the future.

We had a very short window of time to go to Cairo, see the Pyramids, the Egyptian Museum and return to Chicago. Just four days. Holiday Tours picked us up at the airport, got us to the hotel the first day. Over to the Pyramids, Memphis, Sakkara and a Felucca the second day. To the Citadel and the Egyptian Museum the third day. Back to the airport on the morning of the fourth day. We were picked up and dropped off promptly. The personnel who drove us and provided the commentary on the history and culture (very high praise for Dalia, our docent) and showed us through the markets, protected us from the vendors and brought us to delicious restaurants rank among the most professional and patient people we have ever hired around the world. We would not go back to Egypt without engaging Holiday Tours and highly recommend anyone who wants a hassle free, time efficient tour to hire this company.

Just got off the phone with Yehia from Holiday Tours and couldn't recommend his services more. I initially received his contact info from a friend who highly recommended his tour company. We really wanted to do a trip to the Siwa Desert but there wasn't one available during our stay in Egypt. The most recommended travel office in egypt! You definitely need to book with a travel office for the country of Egypt. It is quite difficult to travel alone for many reasons. (Safety, driving, language, recommendations and more). We were really satisfied with what they provided to us, fully organized, value for money, good hotels, really good and knowledged tour guides and made us felt so secured and feel home. Generally we do not travel with agencies, but believe me, in Egypt you need. Everything were well prepared for us, we had a full program with all the details. Anything cool, out of the ordinary, off the beaten track, adrenalin-high experience I have done was with Holiday tours. In this month, I flew over the pyramids of Giza on a paramator (HOW COOL IS THAT???) and went on the most superb mesmerizing, and outrageous skydive in the breathtaking Interlaken in Switzerland. Holidays Tours took us to Wadi Al-Rayyan in Fayoum and it was a wonderful experience. I appreciate their meticulous planning and attention to details (this includes planning a meal over a picturesque view of Wadi Al-Rayyan lake and allowing time for the appreciation of spectacular scenery). The guide (Eissa) did his best to explain the landscape of the protectorate. I believe a guide's role is to make visitors think about what they see and Eissa's philosophical comments and his effort to convey his knowledge to us contributed to a meditative tour of the Valley! We used holiday tours for our trip to Egypt in December / January this year. We did some site seeing as well as some adventure activities. We found Yehia and the team excellent to deal with. We had to make some last minute changes, and nothing was problem. The team was very professional, the guides were very informative and had great people skills. We had great time. From first email i sent them, they were so responsive and covered all details even before the trip. Not organized trip at all and it's not professional sometimes, we spend 80% of the trip in transportation , so we spend day and half in bus, and our hotels at himara was so boor and not clean, our friends' hotel was very underrated and the tour guide told them the hotel nonrefundable, so they went to another hotel at their expenses, and we just saw only 2 town, Theth town was very good and beautiful nature. Our guide does not ice breaked the group . So i wasn't happy at all, so plz try to make a good value program with activity.

I hiked the highest peak in egypt, st. Catherine in 2009 with Holiday Tours. It was a life changing experience for me. For a first time hiker it was challenging to say the least but the group of hikers was nice which made all the difference hiking and the organizers were ready to accomodate everyone's needs even down to keeping us motivated and genetly pushing us towards the top of that mountain. The logistics were smooth and everyone had a wonderful time.

Egypt can sometimes be a bit tricky to get around in, and reviews aren’t always available/reliable. Holiday Tours will really give the honest and trustworthy suggestions. They don’t just want to make money off of you, they actually want you to have a good time and cater the trip to your preferences. On my trip, they gave me all the tips on when to visit locations and what were the touristy scams and how to avoid them. Super helpful and experienced :)
