"Wow what a horrible experience"
"We've been here a couple of times, I remember the first time, we sat at our table for ages without being attended too so we just grabbed our own menus, then waited for someone to serve us, we asked someone walking past and they advised us we order at the counter, okay that's fair enough but maybe you could tell your customers that so that they know instead of waiting around thinking they'll be served"
"It takes a long time to even be acknowledged that you’re there, and coffee is never as ordered lately (understandable with their training new staff)"
"Great food but sadly that’s where it ends"
"Excuse me a moment while I raise a perfectly made cuppa to the best cafe in Pakenham"
Wow what a horrible experience. Sticky table that the staff said was clean. Sticky isn’t clean. 15 minutes to have our order taken after asking 2 staff to take the order 10 minutes before drink’s arrived 30 minutes until food arrived So 55 minutes wait until we could eat, in no way is this ever acceptable or tolerated! My milkshake was undrinkable, the flavouring was disgusting. But yet you get a paper straw in a non recyclable plastic cup, way to think of the environment. My egg and bacon roll, well where do I start. The egg and bacon was actually nice. The roll was just crust, no soft bread part and was toasted rock hard and inedible even though it was dripping with oil. The wife’s scrambled eggs was a far better choice and was nice. I’m sure the owner will reply we were busy, here’s the thing. If you have 40 seats available then obviously you can service that amount without issue or wait times. If you can’t do this then you reduce the seating amount. To continue on that path just places you in the greedy and irresponsible position. I will not ever recommend this place, it’s just another cafe that serves bad food & drink plus has no respect for the customer

We've been here a couple of times, I remember the first time, we sat at our table for ages without being attended too so we just grabbed our own menus, then waited for someone to serve us, we asked someone walking past and they advised us we order at the counter, okay that's fair enough but maybe you could tell your customers that so that they know instead of waiting around thinking they'll be served. Been there a couple more times after that, then knowing how the order system works, it's all good, always good food by the way. Today when we went, same thing we grabbed our menus, ordered our food, every other table was doing the same thing, but then this small family that walked in who obviously know either the owner or one of the waitresses, got sat down physically by the waitress, everyone else had to wander off to find their own table, this family got their menus brought to them by the waitress, everyone else had to go get there own, the waitress took this families order at their table with her order taking tablet, everyone else had to order at the counter. Yeah won't be coming back, the same level of service should be given to every customer that walks in, not just your mates.
It takes a long time to even be acknowledged that you’re there, and coffee is never as ordered lately (understandable with their training new staff). However, I asked for a vanilla latte, 1 sugar and almond milk. I watched as my coffee was made 10 minutes after ordering it. She put the shot in the cup while the barrister next to her finished pouring the full cream milk into someone else’s coffee order. My barrister picks up the milk tin thinks about going to clean it, changes her mind and clearly pours in the almond milk with the pre existing full cream., she then takes a teaspoon of sugar and sprinkles 1/4 of the spoon in the cup and completely forgets to put the vanilla. Now at this point I’m thinking this isn’t my coffee but then my name was called. I took a sip and it was not very nice so I asked if I could have my shot of vanilla, an older lady had come out to offer help At this point and I could hear her discussing with the barista that made my coffee if she had it put it in there, to which she lied and said she had… I almost got double charged for something I watched her not do.
Great food but sadly that’s where it ends. Staff are terrible and lazy at the cafes own detriment. Seem to be to be preoccupied with making coffees, and servicing the other cafe they run in the middle of the Center. Asked for a table, told to sit anywhere free. Waited for nearly 20 minutes, not one interaction with staff, no water, no drinks, no asking for orders. Decided to leave after watching staff dry cutlery for quite actually 15 minutes with zero regard for any customers, then walking straight past myself and other tables waiting for service, to instead go and fraternise with what was quite clearly her partner also drinking coffee (hanging out) in the cafe. Some great talent in the kitchen with amazing food, this is sadly somebodies business which will be inevitably let down by poorly managed and disciplined hospitality and service staff. Probably won’t go back.

Excuse me a moment while I raise a perfectly made cuppa to the best cafe in Pakenham. Cheers! We've visited Homestead a LOT (particularly during lockdown/s) over the past two years so I feel confident saying that it's consistently great. The coffees are always expertly made and the meals yummy. More importantly you're always greeted with a warmth and kindness that is 100% genuine and absolutely priceless. If you're hungry any of the meals are sure to satisfy your tummy and tastebuds. I can never go past a big brekkie: plenty of food, all cooked to perfection and a great price point. Hubby and daughter love anything and everything sweet (particularly the waffles). I would recommend Homestead if you're after a good coffee, a delicious meal or just somewhere with a lovely atmosphere to sit and unwind for a while. Visit, you will not be dissapointed.
Ordered and paid for a couple of items. They advised they would bring it out to our table. Instead of giving us a number, the young girl serving asked where we were sitting. We waited a while, then went up and saw the items sitting in a warmer. When we asked about the items, they gave us the items from the warmer, then when we walked away they remarked at us DUH! After eating this meal we both became ill later on that day. I have been to this place many times but it has had different owners for a while and the food quality is not as good. The customer service, attitudes of these young folk (not to mention food handling skills/preparation/heating abilities as they are obviously lacking to become sick from this food). I still feel sick every time I think of it.
Having lunch at the amazing homestead cafe... thanks Tim and the team for the great food. And loved the Nacho Pork Pie !!!! Lovely atmosphere and location to come and enjoy with the family. The sliders were a hit with kids ... Heaps of parking. Coffee was better than so many places, aromatic, depth of flavour and the blend was beautifully roasted, not burnt or over roasted. Do yourself a favour and check this place out

Megan and Xavier did a home catering service for us in Nar Nar Goon North. It was a charity event for the State Youth Brass Band for 75 people The food was a magnificent mix of meat and vegetarian savouries and sweets at a very affordable price The waitresses were lovely country lasses who couldn't do enough for us Our guests were thrilled Megan and Xavier cleaned and washed everything We cannot thank them enough, and recommend them to anyone

Very average experience!!! Sat for 15 minutes for someone take our order. Only to be told by the owner we need to move seats. No apology nothing. Just move. We have a family of 8 coming in. There order got taken straight away. Owner didn't even come and apologise. She knew I was not happy. All she did was smirk and giggle. Even the team member that served us explained this cafe is a circus. If you want a great experience, go visit another cafe expect this one. Only saving grace was the food which was ok. Otherwise this would have been a 1 star review!!!!!!!!!!!!!
While the food takes some time to come out, even as the only few patrons there at the time. It makes complete sense when you see the professional level of plating of the dishes. The food tastes as good as it looks aswell and the staff seem delightfully friendly to regulars as I sat there hearing them compliment customers coming in to get their regular morning cuppa.

Came here to try out the coffee. Must say it’s velvety and smooth. Forgot to check out what beans was used. Had chicken avo wrap and schnit chicken wrap with side of chips. Very tasty. Very friendly service from all the staff at duty this afternoon. Always a smile! Keep it up! Would be back to try the varieties or pastries from muffins to little berries cakes. Scones looked yummy too.

We ordered just two coffee , it took exactly 16 minutes and served without any apologies. Coffees was cold and without any sugar,we had to get up and ask for it.They had only 4 customers eating so was not busy at all. Staff was not friendly and it was like they were forced to work. Coffee table was dirty and sticky. Much better and quick options is in the shopping centre. We won’t go there again for sure.

Normal shopping center car park, we found a spot easily close to the café.
Super disappointed! Had ordered a single coffee, that took approximately 20mins to make! Had I have known that it would take 18 mins longer then normal to make a coffee, i absolutely would not have purchased it. Staffs customer service was horrific, not only to myself but multiple others that I had watched. Staff came across arrogant, disrespectful, rude and the attitude was completely unnecessary. Do not recommend this cafe - mainly due to how staff treat customers!
Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Nothing negative to say. Was 5 stars prior to today and if management take my constructive criticism on board it will be again. Covid is hard enough, communicating thru face masks is hard at the best of times, but today they were playing music so friggin loud communication was almost impossible. Plus, I'm not sure if q code is mandatory at the moment, but whilst I was waiting, I was only 1 of 6 customers that used it.
Where do you go when you need a top quality coffee? Is it not homestead? Then you are going to the wrong place! Between amazing baristas, whom double as phenomenal staff, delicious breakfast options, and a not to miss selection of snacks, you should not go pass Homestead without grabbing something for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Also, be sure to pop in often, as the wall art that will give you a giggle, changes regularly.
Great Mother’s Day breakfast. Friendly staff, great coffee and beautiful food. First time visitors and will need to come back to try some more from the delicious options on the menu. Party of five and we had the big breakfast, bagel, eggs Benny and death by caramel. All delicious and well presented. Highly recommended and will be back.

I have gone there for breakfast many times and i honestly have lost count how many times I've been flat out ignored. No not for 30 seconds or a couple minutes when it's busy. But actually between 7-9am in the morning when they are open but it isnt the slightest bit busy. At the very least, the food is amazing. So there is that. If you go there, expect 2 things. Being ignored and getting really good food.
Ordered a Breakfast Burger It comes with scrambled egg, bacon, spinach, hash brown, tomatoe relish on a brioche bun. First of all the egg is not scrambled it is overly dry, I've never seen scrambled egg cooked that way wasn't pleasant at all. Second the bacon was also dry, hard and overcooked too. I think the relish is too much its overpowering. And maybe change the brioche to normal toast plse.
Tried this lovely little Cafe for lunch and although meals took a little while (but drinks were quick), it was worth it. The staff were lovely and friendly. The omelette was scrumptious (but too big for me to finish) and my fiance loved his bacon & eggs with all the extras. We thought we had a fav Cafe in Pakenham, but I think Homestead has topped it! Well done team. See you again soon.
Thankyou so much for your outstanding catering service for our son and his girlfriends 21st.. The selection of catering packages were so impressive. The selection of food that was on offer for us was just beautiful, so fresh, so tasty and soooo much food. Your service of preparation and your little trooper waitress was exceptional. Regards Jo

We sat down for 10 minutes before anyone asked us for drinks or to place our order. Then they have the audacity to ask us to pay for our meal before we have received anything. We paid and then they come back five minutes later and advise us that we would have to wait 35 minutes for food. It was only bacon and eggs and a croissant.
Highly recommend this place! Food is always AMAZING! I LOVE that they have MONTHLY SPECIALS so we get to try different dish every now and then. Service is always GREAT. STAFF are all friendly. A bit of wait sometimes but it’s definitely WORTH IT!

This place sells great good but waiting time is ridiculous..i have gone there 3x on different days and they tell me it's a 40 to 60 minutes wait!!! Seriously!!!! Needless to say I walked away as i believed it would be longer given some people said they were there 40mins already..pls get more staff!!
I understand we have covid rules but they can be acted on with more manners especially when it comes to the elderly who I have seen treated rudely twice in this cafe, maybe the staff should also be asked to produce Vaccination certificates and the food is average anyway, but we wont be going back.
Generous serving and friendly service! Very good baristas too! Always have a lovely coffee when we dine here.

Ordered two eggs benedict on a potato rosti. the rosti was so dry I couldn't get my knife through it. No salt pepper cutlery or serviettes on the table and when we asked the waitress she was very put out and was not at all helpful. Coffee was good but that's about all

Coffee can be great but take away can be up to a 15 minute wait, dine in coffee often comes lukewarm. Food is really good but customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Definitely better choices in Pakenham for a weekend breakfast.

Staff are always so lovely and always welcoming with a smile. My partner and I come here regularly for the all day breakfast and love the food each time. We are never disappointed, which is so refreshing for us. We will be back ;)
I had a quick visit to Heritage Springs to go to Chemist Warehouse. The staff were very helpful and I was able to get a car park for Seniors which was great as it was raining. I always visit Heritage Springs when I go to Pakenham.
Nice busy cafe, staff very pleasant and helpful, food really good, I had the pulled pork burger, nice amount of slaw in it. Definitely will be back to try the breakfast menu.

I think the coffee is relatively good and the cakes particularly the lemon meringue are fairly good. However, pricewise they are way over the top. They need to review their prices downwards to be more competitive in my view.
Great service and awesome food. The coffee was lovely. It had a real beautiful aroma and taste. I had to smashed avocado and it came with such a Bridie toppings. The beetroot glaze, the rocket pinenuts, and of course bacon.
Been here several times and I always judge a cafe on it's coffee. Haven't had a bad one yet doubt I will. Has great atmosphere and lots of hussle goin on too. Fun place to eat.

Service average. QR check in and Covid Vaccination check on entry. Ordered a ham/cheese toasted and wasn't expecting much but it lacked taste. Food wait time good. Water on each table. Menu looks good. Would try again.
The staff are perpetually cheerful. They always remember my food order preferences. I travel the extra distance to this cafe because the staff really want to serve their customers well, and it shows. Fantastic owners.

This is my go-to for my morning coffee, and occasionally a sneaky weekend brunch. Coffee is consistently the best I’ve ever had, the food is top notch, and the staff are always super friendly and helpful.
The food was delicious and presented nicely, service and staff were friendly and on point. I think we have now found out local favourite Cafe. We will definitely see you again soon !
Guy serving at courtyard 17/9 4:30pm wore his mask under his chin. So disgusting and currently against the law. We purchased donuts but threw them out due to food safety concerns. Won’t be back.
Love it but im sad they are changing owners in 2 months hipe the new owners r as funny and nice. Atm service is awesome and yummy. Coffee there is the best in Pakengam and the pork rolls omg
I use to come a few times a week for Asian rolls they were the best untill the new owners changed them and then decided to get rid of them. Otherwise it’s a good little cafe great coffee

Great Food. The corn fritters were amazing. I wasn't expecting much for a Cafe in a shopping centre but was very surprised. Definitely coming back.
Lovely staff, very well presented food. Only change I would like to see is maybe more salad option for the menu, however, still has a great range.
Good coffee…unfortunately even when it’s not all that busy. I seem to stand waiting 15mins for a takeaway coffee while the staff socialise
Hands down, the best eggs benedict in town. With hash browns and bacon, bad for the cholesterol but bloody amazing for the taste buds.
