Just a few months back I bought a black BMW 7 series from You. I worked 100's of hours overtime being away from my family saving for a year to buy a car. The car lasted less than a half of a tank of gas, maybe 100 miles. With 185 error codes and 3 major recalls my girlfriend won't drive or ride in the car and definitely wont let the kids ride in it. I would remind you that the first buyer was allowed his deposit back. You knew I lived 90 miles away and told me I would lose my deposit. I asked you what was wrong with the car in your opinion. Matt, you informed me that the I drive screen was froze on "Add Coolant" message but that was all. I paid $2000 more than Kelly Blue Book value, no price negotiation. So many calls the car won't last is what you said. While filling out the paperwork Lindsey pointed out the I drive screen malfun tion was the reason it was advertised as a mechanics special but the day I was there to pick it up you told me that the center console screen worked for you. The BMW was not advertised on Craigslist as mechanics special. As soon as I started for home the screen told me to add oil immediately or serious engine damage could occur. I immediately added oil. I had called you on the phone about this time because none of the windows would roll down. You said something along the lines of "they don't? hmm well if you can't figure them out, well I don't know what you are going to do". It was apparent that you had no plans on helping me out. You told me " You are going to be very happy with this car". I'm Not happy, my family is Not happy. *Update-October 5th 2021:The advertised photo on Craigslist-Not a photo of the car for sale. Registration arrived and says compare milage on reg. with actual miles. Registration shows 4500 less miles than the car has. I've noticed date displayed in the car is one day before I got the car September 2020. *Best advice always have an independent mechanic/shop inspect any vehicle you a interested in before purchasing. Spend some time on test drive check fluid levels before starting the vehicle, sit in back and verify windows operate, test cruise control. Check for abnormal tire wear or new tires trying to hide issues. Shady car sales people. Oregon has no lemon law. Hope this helps.

I myself purchased a vehicle for $12,500.00 in the month of February of 2022. I cashed out for 2012 Dodge Challenger. To this day I’ve yet to receive vehicle registration, title, proof of ownership or my custom plates which me ordered at dealership. In addition, turns out they never filed my documents with DMV. Darrell is the individual whom I filled out all my paperwork with, but he and his wife were both involved in the entire process of me purchasing car. yesterday 11/19/2022 me texted Darrel regarding a trip permit for the Dodge Challenger. After his initial response of “tell me your name and what vehicle you purchased, and we can sale you a trip permit”, he’s been non responsive. I believe his non responsiveness is due to his realization that there in a lot of trouble for not filing my paperwork with DMV, in addition to not providing me with my title for a vehicle I paid $12,500.00 cash for. Now keep in mind the purchase was in February of 2022. I’ve contacted Jessica Miller, a Dealership Investigator, and I’ve filed a dealer complaint on the Oregon DMV website. I will also be obtaining a lawyer to file a civil suit. Me encourage you to do the same if you’ve experienced anything similar to what I have. GOD bless those who’ve read this. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE HERE! I purchased a truck here. I needed one quick so I could move and they were all in the 15k plus range. I mentioned that it looked like someone had broken into it and there was a crack in the windshield thw entire length of the windshield. Rather than offer to repair it or come down on the price, they told me how much it would cost me and where i could go. Okay... It's going to cost me a few hundred extra bucks so I dont get pulled over. Then... They don't provide me with temp tags. I had to buy them. I've NEVER had a car dealer not provide a temp tag! On my drive home, the check engine light came on. I have it looked at and it's pretty serious and was reset by the battery disconected. The issue will cost more than a few hundred dollars. Then... They lost my title application! So i couldn't even get the truck registered and get the tags! A couple days later, the truck doesn't start. I'm stuck paying for a truck i cant use... I had to rent a uhaul and for some reason I have to full coverage on something that doesn't run.

I was in town from Seattle and came to view a car here that I was interested in. I was greeted by a salesman who was very nice. After looking over the car, I decided I wanted to get a trade appraisal. The car wasn’t with me so I was expecting them to give me no estimate, which would have been fine. They invited me inside, I gave them all the information on the car, sent them extensive photos. The guy helping me was so nice. It was going great until a woman came over so the salesman could ask about my trade. She immediately had a bad attitude towards me and snarked at me, basically telling me that I raced my car a lot because it’s a sports car. After that, it seemed as though they tried to rush me out of the dealer, saying they would email me a rough appraisal. I never received the appraisal and never heard from them again. Whoever this woman was needs an attitude check. Sad thing is that I was most likely going to buy the car but am very turned off from this place after my encounter with this woman.

I bought a car last month from these guys & had my reservations. I knew exactly what I was looking for in regards to: year/make/model/color/bells/whistles etc. What they had advertised happened to check all the (my) boxes. Anyway, due to my busy schedule & limited time I went out there at night a few separate times. They addressed my many questions & issues immediately. Namely & most importantly they paid for a costly sunroof part repair for which I failed to notice since I bought my car at night. The next morning after I took it home I found a shattered sunroof from what looked like a golf ball traveling at maximum velocity shattered the back skylight panel. We bought an SUV here almost a month ago. After getting it home and driving it for about two weeks we took it into the shop for an inspection. We found out that there was tons of work needed costing thousands of dollars. So we caked the lot back and after about three attempts got Matt to call back. Sent him the invoice on the repairs and he stated that maybe we were being price gouged. But he would contact us back. I waited a couple of days because you should never have to hound someone who does honest work but he never called. So I caked again and again and all my wife and I get are " He's not in right now" or "He's on the phone and we'll give him your message". But still no call. I expect some work on a used vehicle but when it costs more than what you paid on the car. And for them not to even contact you that's what I call or business and customer service.

I was helping a friend out and dropped her off to this dealership. Come to find out, she was scammed by their sales person Richie. It was her first time purchasing a car and the people at this dealership clearly took advantage of that. They claimed that signing into a 20% loan was a good deal (she has great credit). Slowly discovering the numerous minor issues with the car was the least of her problems. A week later she took the car to a mechanic and discovered that they cleared the codes and needed a new transmission. The dealership has shown no interest in assisting with any of these issues. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANY BUSINESS WITH HOOD TO COAST AUTO SALES!

If I could give 0 stars I would. If your on a budget and looking for a used reliable car this is not the place. Ya they were friendly of course, but they sold us a lemon car, that had a bad transmission and engine come to find out. 2 days after purchase car breaks down in California!! The first shop didn't want to work on it, had it towed to another. To make long story short, they knew they sold us a lemon, it did have warranty, but we have no car and are still paying! Don't go here for a cheap used car. They'll be cute to your face and act like their doing u a favor but if u have problems they don't care they just want your money Watch out!

This was a pretty poor experience. The sales people didn't even come out to greet us, made very little attempt to even sell to us at all. Fortunately the car we got works pretty well after fixing some minor things, but we were told we would get the title in a couple days, took a few weeks. We had to call about 6 or 7 times to figure out what was up, because nobody ever knew what was going on! When I went to register it, they had messed up the title. This place is so unorganized, I could never recommend.

I worked with Shaun to get my VW tiguan! I'm a single mom who works 2 jobs 6 days a week. Sundays are my only day off. I contacted Hood2Coast on Friday and said I needed a car by Sunday and I was interested in the Tiguan (it was the perfect car and in my price range). Reduced price of car due to repairs needed. I went to a dealership to get those repairs done. Car works great and have plates now. Much appreciated! Make sure you go with someone who knows cars so you are aware of what is needed. My car repairs ended up being $1700 for timing belt, water pump and oil change.
