The ambience was beautiful. The food was delicious and the serving worth every coin. They also had a band on play that played beautifully. Make sure to try the lobsters.

we went on a Saturday evening. There was no parking inside h3nce firced to park outside.I didnt like that we were told to pay entrance fee of 500 shillings per person. It made the hotel look cheap & classless.The hosting of a football match watch also made the hotel look cheap and crowded.

Everything about the English marina residence is luxurious and clean. Ladies at the reception are very calm, helpful and professional. There's alot of activities to do gym , pool , beach and spa. The rooms are very spacious and clean with all the amenities you need only thing they need to update is T.v is a little outdated not a smart TV u cannot connect to Internet or even watch Netflix. The views from apartment was very serene. Information dinning from Masa restaurant was quick I was impressed

I’ve been here for about a week & will be here another 10-15 days. This place is amazing. The food is excellent and there is a huge variety. The best part of this hotel is the staff!!! Simply amazing people Kezia Sulubu Samantha Valarie Duncan Kevin Joseph Benita Caro Adera Lorraine Juma Martha Diana Lloyd Eric Emanuel Just to name a few. They are always smiling & ready to assist in any manner. The gym is big & has a full complement of machines & free weights. I will be back here & will only stay at this hotel. One thing I wish they had was hookah

This place is good for stays and views. Went for the view, and yes, it was amazing. On top of the ocean view with lovely our door sitting area. Entry is paid for, which is redeemed by foods and drinks or services offered inside the premises. You get to have a good time at their outdoor lounge, watch TV and good music. Fresh air and breeze from the ocean and a view of the Fort Jesus too. The food is amazing,however, our waiter and waitress were quite slow. The staff were generally nice and helpful. Didn't spend enough time here, but it was definitely worth the visit.

Try to encourage more African food menu especially by opening an African restaurant next to the Indian, Italian and Arabic ones. Keep your breakfast buffet (standards) consistent, not just great one morning, then the next morning, poor quality. Also make sure the people/residents who dine late don't feel like they're having leftovers. Minimize local (low class) revellers if you want to maintain your (hotel) class, keep the standard that the hotel deserves/has. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Finally carefully select what you have on the big screen, to avoid losing the hotel dignity.

This is a world class hotel. Has a beautiful spa and a fully functional gym. The rooms are generous and well furnished. Our breakfast was delicious. The views are out of this world. There is not much to do on this side of town and the quite atmosphere shows that more needs to provided, such as restaurants with a variety of different cuisines etc. A boat to provide a cruise. There seems to be something missing to make this place buzz!

The view is absolutely beautiful. It however was sweltering! The outdoor seating is interesting... Some booths have shade, but the retractable hoods also block the breeze from the ocean, you almost have to pick between shielding from the sun, and getting a breeze in the heat. The service was particularly slow, and the food was rather average. However, the portions were good! I'd recommend visiting in the evening, for the sunset, it's much cooler.

It was my first time in Kenya and especially in Mombasa. I did love the attendance, Susan was very polite and kind while explaining to me all the commodities available in the room. The room was comfortable, and the bed was very good... I have a less positive comment on two aspects; the lack of maintenance (mirror at the bathroom was not closing properly) and to the fact I had asked breakfast for 6am and when arrived to the restaurant no one new about it. Nevertheless, I will definitely come back one day... thank you

Ansui spa does not have a separate web-based reviews section hence why I am leaving a review here. I booked a couples treatment. Was shocked to see how run down the spa is. Treatment was also subpar. Draping during the treatment was almost non existant and i had to request proper draping. The steam room was functional only on the male side. The hood for the jacuzzi was rolled open to 1 side and left there hence was uncomfortable to sit as we were forced to lean on it if we wanted to sit sea facing in the jacuzzi. Overall quality has drastically dropped.

The food was awesome. Its not a beach resort. Felt like we are staying in another town. Car parking view, which wasn't expected. No creek view rooms are there. Creek view inly if you book Suits. I had booked the Deluxe room. It's expensive knowing its not a beach resort.

Amazing place for swimming, gym, restaurants are good though the food at masa I was disappointed recently on my last visit as it had always been 5 star before. Karahi the food is good. 24 hour gym spa, massage and the whole package. Beach activities kayaking, jet ski all in one place. I love it. Great place to watch a sports game on big screen.

It is a nice place to chill especially for a couple that just wants to relax. Nice swimming pool . Meals were nice too. We noted that the reception is too small, assuming a large group of people came at once it means some won't have a place to seat. A welcome drink for guests should as well be introduced. All in all English point is a nice place to be.

The pepper steak and chips at English Point Marina are simply outstanding! The steak was cooked to perfection with a flavorful pepper sauce that left me wanting more. The accompanying chips were crispy and delicious. The beautiful waterfront setting added to the overall dining experience. Highly recommended for a fantastic meal!

We stayed here for 1 night with a group of friends. It was a but pricey, but a very nice hotel. It was close to the beach, had great bar service, and felt luxurious. I would have liked to stay longer to take full advantage of the amenities like the spa, gym, and pool but had a pleasant stay non the less. Would recommend if you can afford.

The ruined cathedral is a beautiful historical building, the place has quite an atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit, I would revisit without a doubt. There is opportunity to climb the spire/tower, unfortunately when we visited it was closed. So another reason to make a return visit. More information boards would be nice is my only criticism.

Came here for a sunset view, didn't really get to see a sunset as it was behind clouds and buildings, maybe not the best spot for a sunset and food was not great, drinks were decent so would recommend more for the sea view and drinks.

Fantastic ocean scenery. Fort Jesus clear view and you get that island feeling as you take your drink while sitting above the water at the same time swimmers do their jigs accompanied by soft music.
